Abstract

Drug Information Service (DIS) is an activity provided by pharmacists to patients. However, some aspects of DIS are often not implemented, resulting in non-compliance and failure of therapy in patients. Health center pharmacists often do not explain to patients about the side effects, interactions and contraindications of drugs. This study aims to determine the implementation of drug information services in health care facilities in two health centers in Karanganyar Regency, namely Colomadu II and Jaten II Health Centers. This study is a cross-sectional study conducted in July and August 2023 at two health centers in Karanganyar Regency, Indonesia, namely Colomadu II and Jaten II Health Centers. This study used a survey questionnaire given to patients seeking treatment at Colomadu II and Jaten II Health Centers. This study involved a total of 50 participants, with the same number of respondents from both Colomadu II and Jaten II Health Centers. The results of this study indicate that the DIS given to patients at the Health Center, in six aspects of information, namely name, preparation, dosage, use, storage, drug indications have been (100%) conveyed, but four of the ten indicators, namely contraindications, stability, side effects, and drug interactions have not been provided optimally (below 100%). that there is no significant difference in the two health centers in each variable because the p value 0.05. Based on the results of statistical analysis, it was found that there was no significant difference in the implementation of Drug Information Services between Colomadu II and Jaten II Health Centers in the implementation of PIO drug storage (p = 1.00), drug contraindications (p = 0.556), drug stability (p = 0.728), drug side effects (p = 0.222), and drug interactions (p = 0.095). This needs to be a concern for Pharmacists and pharmacy staff at the Health Center to support the safety of drug use and successful treatment.

Abstract

The study proposes a Strategic Communication Plan "an Interven-tion Plan" designed to enhance the implementation of the Barangay Mi-cro Business Enterprises (BMBE) Law. The intervention plan addresses the current gaps in awareness and utilization of the law's incentives, particularly focusing on three key areas: 1) Technology Transfer, Pro-duction and Management Training, and Marketing Assistance; 2) Trade Investment and Promotions; and 3) Special Credit Delivery, which has been identified as the least availed incentive. The study utilized descrip-tive-secondary data analysis "non-experimental" and focused on syn-thesizing findings and recommendations from previous related studies to create a comprehensive and actionable communication plan. The proposed BMBE Law Public Information Campaign (BLPIC) integrated targeted activities, including seminars, conferences, and symposiums, to foster wider and more effective dissemination of information. These activities aim to mitigate the low to moderate implementation levels of the law, particularly in rural and remote areas, by emphasizing the ben-efits and accessibility of the incentives. The plan recommended a multi-stakeholder approach, engaging lo-cal government units, financial institutions, and business development organizations to ensure a cohesive and far-reaching campaign. By prior-itizing the Special Credit Delivery incentive, the plan seeks to address its underutilization while simultaneously enhancing awareness of the other incentives. The intervention also underscores the importance of leveraging digital platforms and community-based outreach to maxim-ize reach and engagement. Ultimately, the BLPIC aims to make the BMBE Law more meaningful, relevant, and accessible, thereby fostering economic growth and sustainability for micro-enterprises across di-verse communities.

Abstract

Digimizu Digital Management specializes in Software and Photography as well as Digital Content while delivering on-demand services. The company operates without a computerized information system for managing both transactions and financial reports. The company handles orders manually via WhatsApp or face-to-face interactions while transaction records are kept on paper and within Microsoft Excel files. Data loss becomes possible alongside human errors and inaccurate reporting while real-time data access and monitoring face constraints. The company needs a web-based financial information system which should combine transaction automation with customer data management functions alongside quick and accurate financial report generation. The development of the financial information system utilizes the SDLC method with the Waterfall model and system weaknesses analysis through the PIECES method with UML (Unified Modeling Language) support. This system implementation will bring efficiency to Digimizu Digital Management's business procedures while decreasing errors in recording and enabling real-time financial activity tracking which will enhance overall company performance.
