Abstract

The owner's income drop in a sports equipment firm stems from insufficient consumer interest in the physical store of a particular sports equipment company, attributed to unattractive product displays and a difficult-to-access location. This study presents a product recommendation system based on searches for items analogous to the desired sports, which can significantly enhance the owner's revenue and streamline the purchasing experience for consumers without necessitating a visit to a physical store. The study utilizes a descriptive methodology for data acquisition, encompassing observation, interviews, and literature reviews. The employed system development methodology is Rapid Application Development (RAD), while the approach utilized is Content-Based Filtering (CBF). Implementing the CBF approach in the product recommendation information system can facilitate consumers' selection of necessary things without visiting a physical store, consequently enhancing the owner's revenue at the specific sports equipment company. This research indicates that improving the shopping experience via technology can reconcile online and physical retail, resulting in increased consumer happiness and loyalty and sustainable company growth for the owner.

Abstract

This study seeks to enhance the information system for resource management at Masjid Al-Qomar by implementing an application focused on financial and activity management. The applied research method is descriptive, applying an object-oriented system development approach (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, OOAD). The developed system focuses on two main aspects: recording and reporting donations, including zakat and other financial activities, and managing schedules and communication with congregants. The research findings demonstrate that the suggested information system streamlines financial recording and reporting processes, improves transparency in fund utilization, and aids in financial reporting. This technology enhances the mosque's administrative efficiency through features including automated recording, readily available financial reports, and integrated activity schedule management. Furthermore, it guarantees that activity information is available to all congregants, including those not regularly attend the mosque, via an integrated platform and efficient communication tools. This research concludes that the effective implementation of an information system can augment financial transparency, promote operational efficiency, and elevate congregant participation. This study advocates for the ongoing enhancement and upkeep of the system to guarantee its performance aligns with the mosque's and its users' requirements.

Abstract

The development of technology results in an explosion of information and the emergence of false information. The existence of these challenges can be resolved through increasing information literacy in the community, one of which is through socialization in the form of writing scientific articles. In relation to writing relevant and credible scientific articles, an analysis of information trends is needed. This is the background for conducting research on research trends in the field of information literacy with the research subject being six library and information science journals in Indonesia in the 2019-2023 period. This research uses bibliometric methods with a quantitative descriptive approach and the use of Hawkins taxonomy as a topic trend analysis on the results that have been obtained. The results in this study show that the most researched topic is Information Science Research (36.56%), then there are two most productive authors and the most productive institution is Padjadjaran University. In addition, it is also shown that collaboration is one of the factors that can improve the quality of scientific articles.

Abstract

The integration of Information Technology (IT) has significantly transformed modern education, particularly classroom dynamics, by enhancing accessibility to information and enabling personalized learning experiences. This paper aims to explore both the positive impacts and challenges of IT adoption in the classroom, focusing on the importance of Computer Science in shaping effective teaching practices. The study analyzes tools like Learning Management Systems (LMS), simulation software, and data analysis platforms, which improve engagement between students and teachers but also highlight challenges such as the digital divide and less interactive learning. Understanding fundamental Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, programming, and networking, is key to developing innovative solutions that enhance classroom learning. The results show that while IT has revolutionized education by facilitating online learning and collaboration, it also presents challenges that must be addressed, such as access to resources and the need for more interactive learning experiences. To optimize IT’s impact, the paper recommends continuous teacher training, better integration of technology with curricula, and improved access to devices and internet connectivity, ensuring a more inclusive and innovative learning environment in the digital age.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Explicit Instruction learning model on learning outcomes of the basics of DPIB students in class x Design Modeling and Building Information in state vocational school 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This research method is a True Experimental Design with a Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. In this design, there are two groups selected at random, then given a pretest to find out whether there are differences between the experimental group and the control group in the initial situation, then a comparison of the posttest learning results of the two sample classes will be seen. Based on the research results, the use of the Explicit Instruction type cooperative learning model has a better impact on learning outcomes in the basics of DPIB cognitive in the material drawing plane shapes. This is proven by research results which show that the average cognitive and skills domain learning outcomes of students taught using the Explicit Instruction type cooperative learning model is 81.07 higher than the average learning outcomes of students treated with the Discovery Learning model, which is 67.37. This is also reflected in the research data, the t test results show at value of 1.88 compared to the t table value of 1.672 (t value > t table). Based on these differences, both theoretically and proven by statistical analysis carried out in this research, it can be concluded that the Explicit Instruction type cooperative learning model has a significantly different influence on student learning outcomes in the basics of DPIB cognitive in the drawing material. Abstract

The Qur'an encompasses a wide range of knowledge, including the Qur'anic proverbs found in its text. These proverbs of the Qur'an offer concise and eloquent expressions, making abstract ideas accessible and relatable. The proverbs of the Qur'an become valuable lessons for those who wish to learn them. In today's modern world, the proverbs of the Qur'an can be utilized through information technology (IT) to explain various concepts in the Qur'an, one of which is the concept of hudan (guidance). This research is a qualitative study using library research. The approach used is the interpretation and analogy approach. First, the concept of hudan in the Qur'an has various meanings, depending on the context of the verse that explains it. When divided into several forms, the concept of hudan in the Qur'an is divided into forms, such as; classification of hudan, level of hudan, criteria for people who get hudan, and causes of obstruction for someone to get hudan. Second, the concept of hudan in the Qur'an if analogized in the context of IT media (information technology), it can be likened to the use of washing machines in the context of; functions and objectives, operationalization, and causes of not running optimally.
