Abstract

Penyengat Island is a developing tourist destination in Indonesia, known for its rich historical and cultural heritage. In order to further boost tourism on the island, an Information and Technology-Based Tourism Development Policy has been implemented. This policy aims to leverage the power of technology to enhance the visitor experience, promote sustainable tourism practices, and increase tourism revenue. In this study, we utilized a qualitative research method grounded in Edward III's grounded theory approach to understand the impact of the Information and Technology-Based Tourism Development Policy on Penyengat Island. Data was collected through interviews with key stakeholders involved in implementing the policy, including government officials, local businesses, and tourists. The results of our study show that the implementation of the Information and Technology-Based Tourism Development Policy has had a positive impact on Penyengat Island. The use of technology, such as online booking systems and virtual tours, has made it easier for tourists to plan their trips and explore the island's attractions. Additionally, the policy has helped to raise awareness of the island's cultural heritage and promote sustainable tourism practices, such as waste management and conservation efforts. In conclusion, the Information and Technology-Based Tourism Development Policy has been successful in driving tourism development on Penyengat Island. Moving forward, continued investment in technology and sustainable tourism practices will be key to further enhancing the visitor experience and maximizing the economic benefits of tourism for the local community.

Abstract

Desa Wasampela merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Buton, yang masih menjadi kekurangan di Desa Wasampela adalah sistem pemerintahannya dalam memberikan informasi pada masyarakat masih menggunakan sistem manual yaitu dengan cara masyarakat yang membutuhkan informasi tentang Desa Wasampela akan datang langsung ke Kantor Desa Wasampela atau bertanya kepada masyarakat sekitar. Hal ini tentu kurang efektif bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan informasi karena akan membutuhkan waktu yang lama, menguras tenaga dan juga informasi yang didapatkan terkadang tidak akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membanguninformasi desa berbasis web dan untuk menguji dengan mempermudah penyampaian informasi terkait desa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi literatur. Aplikasi ini di uji menggunakan black box, menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MYSQ. Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan perancangan sistem informasi desa dan menampilkan informasi atau berita-berita yang ada di desa wasampela, selain itu penduduk dapat melengkapi data pada detail penduduk.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam menghasilkan informasi mulai digunakan di setiap bidang pendidikan, mulai dari SD, SMP, SMA hingga Perguruan Tinggi. Hal ini bisa dilihat dengan banyaknya pemakaian aplikasi untuk memudahkan semua orang yang berada di dalam lingkungan itu untuk bisa mengakses informasi. Perguruan Tinggi juga wajib memiliki informasi yang terdokumentasi dalam bentuk tertulis agar informasi tersampaikan dengan lebih terstruktur dan mudah dipahami.Salah satu perguruan tinggi yang melaksanakan proses tersebut adalah Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Banjari Banjarmasin terutama di Fakultas Teknologi Informasi yang memanfaatkan Chatbot sebagai salah satu bagian dari Artificial Intelligent (AI) yang mana merupakan salah satu bidang ilmu komputer yang mengembangkan dalam bidang mesin yang bisa melakukan pekerjaan yang semestinya atau sering dilakukan oleh manusia Dengan menggunakan Flowise AI, pengembang dapat memanfaatkan kemampuan LangChain untuk mengelola dan memproses alur kerja kompleks secara efisien dalam aplikasi LLM dengan Pengujian akurasi chatbot ini dilakukan dengan memasukkan dataset sebanyak 50 buah diperoleh 47 jumlah jawaban sesuai dan 3 jawaban tidak sesuai dengan akurasi sebesar 92,5%.

Abstract

Cybercrime utilizes the development of information technology to commit crimes, including the dissemination of racially charged information that can lead to social conflict and disruption of community stability. This research identifies legal gaps in the criminal liability of cyber offenders as well as challenges in collecting digital evidence. The lack of clear legal boundaries and various obstacles in law enforcement in the digital realm are the main focus. Through the normative juridical method, this research examines the law as a norm that applies in society based on the hierarchy of legislation and the harmony of legislation. The case example discussed is the phishing crime by Rizki Fahmi, the defendant of spreading SARA hatred. Firm and consistent law enforcement is needed to overcome cybercrime and its significant impact on victims and the wider community.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, consumers are increasingly exposed to a variety of new threats that were previously unimaginable, ranging from the misuse of personal data to the opaque manipulation of digital behavior through algorithms and persuasive design. These phenomena signal a profound shift in the consumer landscape, where legal certainty and traditional enforcement mechanisms may no longer suffice. This article critically analyzes whether current consumer protection laws, especially within the Indonesian context, are adequately equipped to address the contemporary risks posed by information technology. By employing a normative juridical approach and enriched with comparative legal analysis, the study draws upon key philosophical foundations from thinkers such as Satjipto Rahardjo, Gustav Radbruch, Aristotle, John Rawls, Ulrich Beck, and Nonet & Selznick. These theoretical perspectives are used to frame a vision of a more responsive, just, and forward-looking legal system. Through comparisons with regulatory frameworks in the European Union, the United States (notably California), Singapore, and Malaysia, this paper proposes that Indonesia's legal architecture must evolve not merely to react but to anticipate and shape digital transformations in ways that ensure fairness, transparency, and inclusivity. Such a legal model must be both normatively grounded and practically agile to protect consumers in an increasingly borderless and algorithm-driven marketplace.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of information and social media in improving micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Nagan Raya Regency. The research results show that although the Nagan Raya Regency government has developed an information system such as the sidumnara website to centrally integrate MSME data, the use of websites as a means of marketing MSME products is still not effective. This is caused by the public's low interest in accessing government websites which is influenced by factors such as content classification, navigation and readability that are less than optimal. On the other hand, social media such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook are more popular with the public because of their more attractive appearance and ability to reach a wider audience. Apart from that, the demographic bonus with the high percentage of the population of productive age in Nagan Raya Regency opens up great opportunities for the use of social media in product marketing. Therefore, although websites can help in the administration and management of MSME data, social media is a more effective platform for marketing products and increasing interaction with consumers. This research concludes that creative use of social media can encourage UMKM to optimize their sales, exceeding the achievements obtained through traditional marketing methods.

Abstract

Payroll accounting information system is a system designed to facilitate precise and accurate employee salary calculation transactions. The purpose of this research is to find out the payroll accounting information system that has been implemented by PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan and to find out whether the payroll accounting information system implemented has good internal control.This research method uses a descriptive research approach and types of qualitative and quantitative data.Data collection techniques in this study using interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this study are the payroll accounting information system at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan has been running effectively. From the research results it can be explained that the employee payroll system at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan is carried out by bank transfer to the account of each employee which is calculated using the payroll application based on basic salary, allowances and deductions. Internal Control at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan has been running quite effectively, because every payroll transaction that is carried out has been verified and re-examined for accuracy before salary payment is made. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of accounting information systems and financial inclusion on performance through the quality of financial reports directly or indirectly. The approach used in this study is a causal approach. The population in this study were all MSME actors in the city of Medan. The sample in this study used the slovin formula as many as 95 MSME actors in the city of Medan. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique in this study uses a quantitative approach using statistical analysis by using the Auter Model Analysis test, Inner Model Analysis, and Hypothesis Testing. Data processing in this study using the PLS (Partial Least Square) software program. The results of this study prove that directly the accounting information system, financial inclusion and financial report quality have a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs, accounting information systems and financial inclusion have a significant effect on the quality of financial statements and indirectly the accounting information system and financial inclusion have a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. through the quality of financial reports of small and medium-sized businesses in the city of Medan

Abstract

In 2021, the amount of blood production by the Indonesian Red Cross was higher than the existing needs. This can result in wasted blood bags. The availability of abundant blood bag supplies is not balanced with access to information on the availability of these blood bags. This study aims to build a smart logistics system that can provide information on the availability of blood bags in real-time. This study utilized a quantitative and explorative approach and employed the waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method using PHP and the CodeIgniter 3 framework, which was integrated with IoT devices such as sensors and GPS for real-time monitoring. In addition, this system will provide a tool to predict the number of donors needed, as well as estimate the number of donor quotas required during upcoming blood donation activities. This study has succeeded in developing a blood donor information system that adopts the smart logistics concept to control blood bag stock. The resulting system is capable of reducing the risk of shortages and obsolescence while enhancing synergy among stakeholders. The design of a system that facilitates openness of information on the level of blood needs and simplification of the donor system is expected to increase community responsibility in creating sustainable blood supply availability.
