Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih belum optimalnya pembelajaran di kelas dengan metode ceramah, Mahasiswa mengalami kejenuhan belajar yang disebut dengan burnout belajar. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengurangi tingkat burnout belajar mahasiswa adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis blended learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis blended learning untuk mengurangi tingkat burnout belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa BK UNIB semester 3B. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis blended learning efektif untuk mengurangi burnout belajar mahasiswa. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah dapat dijadikan bahan masukan bagi dosen untuk memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis blended learning dalam perkuliahan. Kata kunci: Burnout Belajar, Blended Learning.

Abstract

The Pandemic of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) has a significant impact on various sectors of life, including the education sector.The learning process, which was initially carried out in person or face-to-face, is now carried out online.This virtual learning implementation has a negative impact on students' psychology, one of which is the burnout study.Several research results show that many students have difficulty understanding the material provided online, the task demands are high, and cannot interact directly with friends and lecturers.Furthermore, this increases the burnout of the study in students and causes the lecture process to be not optimal.Burnout study is a condition in which an individual feels physically and emotionally exhausted, causing boredom in learning, indifference to academic assignments, lack of motivation, laziness, and decreased learning achievement.Current research uses literature review by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the problems found.

Abstract

This research was conducted because it saw problems that occur in full day school students who experience boredom of learning so that it affects the students' motivation to learn low. This study aims to examine the relationship of learning motivation with full day student learning saturation. The number of samples was 222 students of 34 Padang Junior High Schools selected by using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a Likert scale model, as well as data processed using SPSS version 19 '. The results obtained from this study are that there is a significant negative relationship between learning motivation and learning saturation with a correlation coefficient of -0.512 which is at a significance level of 0.000 with a strong enough category. This means that the higher the motivation to learn, the lower the saturation of student learning. With this finding it is hoped that counselors or counseling teachers can provide guidance and counseling services such as information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services, and group counseling services. To increase learning motivation and to reduce boredom in full day school students.

Abstract

The present study aimed to find out the simultaneous relationship among smartphone addiction, academic burnout, and procrastination among guidance and counseling department students of Semarang State University. This correlational study involved 75 students who were recruited using proportionate stratified sampling with a 10% margin of error. The data were analyzed using multiple correlation and bivariate formulas. The study revealed that 1) there is no significant relationship between smartphone addiction and procrastination, as indicated by a p-value of 0.449. In addition, it was also found that 2) there is no significant relationship between smartphone addiction and academic burnout (p-value = 0.255). However, the study found 3) a significant relationship between academic burnout and procrastination (p-value = 0.046). The fourth finding was that the R-value between smartphone addiction, academic burnout, and procrastination was 0.219 and sig. value of 0.171,  indicating a positive, insignificant simultaneous relationship between smartphone addiction, academic burnout, and procrastination among Guidance and Counseling Students of Semarang State University. The result of the study could be used as the basis to determine guidance and counseling services at the university level in order to minimize the problems related to smartphone addiction, academic burnout, and procrastination.

Abstract

Hasil survey awal dari 10 dosen di Universtitas Wiraraja didapatkan 60% mengatakan pernah stress, terutama saat deadline seperti persiapan untuk akreditasi. berdasar data dari klinik Wiraraja Medika, terdapat 20 kasus psikosomatik pada tahun 2018 di Universitas Wiraraja, hal ini menggambarkan bahwa kejadian distress cukup tinggi di Universitas Wiraraja, sedangkan di Klinik Wiraraja Medika belum ada pelayan spesifik untuk mengatasi masalah psikosomatik. Kondisi distress yang tidak tertangani dapat menyebabkan burn out sehingga dapat menggangu kinerja pada dosen dan civitas akademika, resiko burn out bertambah terutama pada dosen yang mempunyai peran ganda, misalnya pada dosen yang masih kuliah dan bekerja serta masih mengurus keluarga. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini untuk memberikan keterapilan melakukan self hypnosis (hypnosis untuk diri sendiri) sehingga dapat mengatasi stress kemudian dapat mencegah terjadinya work burn out sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja. Metode yang dipakai adalah dengan pelatihan dengan pendekatan blended learning menggabungkan metode pelatihan tatap muka langsung dan pelatihan daring menggunakan conference call. pelatihan ini bekerja sama dengan klinik wiraraja medika di Universitas Wiraraja

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih ditemukan mahasiswa yang mengalami burnout belajar seperti gejala yang nampak menunda-nunda belajar, tidak memiliki semangat dalam belajar, terlihat jenuh dengan aktivitas belajar, merasa frustasi dengan tuntutan perkuliahan dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas layanan penguasaan konten berbasis digital game based learning untuk mengurangi burnout belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment dengan rancangan One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa BK UNIB sebanyak 37 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala burnout belajar dengan model Likert. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memiliki implikasi terhadap kegiatan belajar selanjutnya dan kemajuan program studi bimbingan dan konseling UNIB. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan masukan dalam mengembangkan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang lebih menarik sesuai kebutuhan, terutama dalam layanan penguasaan konten berbasis digital game based learning dengan aplikasi kahoot untuk mengurangi burnout belajar.Abstrack: This research is motivated by the fact that students still experience learning burnout such as symptoms that seem to procrastinate in learning, do not have enthusiasm in learning, look bored with learning activities, feel frustrated with the demands of lectures, and so on. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of digital game-based learning content mastery services to reduce learning burnout. This study uses quantitative methods. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of this study were BK UNIB students as many as 37 students. The research instrument used was a learning burnout scale with a Likert model. The results of this study are expected to have implications for further learning activities and the progress of the UNIB guidance and counseling study program. The results of this study imply that it can be used as input in developing more attractive guidance and counseling services as needed, especially in content mastery services based on digital game-based learning with kahoot applications to reduce learning burnout

Abstract

Background: Learning in the network (online) is learning by using the internet to access material and interact with teachers and students presented through electronic devices, making it easier to access information anytime, anywhere. Implementing online learning can provide stressful conditions for students, resulting in burnout conditions. Aim: To determine the effect of online learning on the burnout condition of medical faculty students. Methods: This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional study design. The total sample was 325 respondents, and the sampling method used a consecutive sampling technique. Result: The results showed that burnout ratings obtained from 325 subjects received low burnout as many as 118 people (36.3%), moderate burnout as many as 197 people (60.6%), and severe burnout as many as ten people (3.1%). Conclusion: Burnout can occur during the implementation of online learning. There is a sense of saturation, fatigue, and limitations in doing practicum or lab skills so that the lectures that are run will not be optimal.

Abstract

With the decline in covid-19 cases and facing the transition from pandemic to endemic, it requires people to be able to maintain health to avoid the terror that is very real for people in the world. As a result of this incident, many countries are reorganizing the paralysis of the economy, society, sports, health, and education. In the world of education, especially in universities, lecturers are required to adapt learning to situations and needs, one of which is through the presentation of material online attractively and attractively according to students so that students will continue to be enthusiastic in the lecture process. Distance learning, carried out from home online, if carried out continuously without presenting attractive, creative, and innovative material from lecturers, is feared to cause negative impacts for students, such as psychological effects, one of which is burnout. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of burnout of students during remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study was a survey. The subjects in this study were students of the physical education study program at PGRI Palembang University. Data collection techniques using Burnout questionnaires that are distributed to respondents online with the help of google form.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires SMP-IT Ibnu Sina Wuluhan students to carry out online learning at home to reduce transmission of the virus. Many problems occure from the policy such as: tasks that must be completed in a short time, rigid study hours, limited quotas and gadgets and signal constraints that cause burnout in students. One way to overcome this problem is doing archery as playing concept. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of archery on reducing burnout levels. The research took place at SMP-IT Ibnu Sina Wuluhan using a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest design method and was held in February-July 2021. 64 respondents used as total sample. The results showed a decrease in the level of burnout after doing archery. The analysis test using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank and shows the Asymp. Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 at alpha value (α) < 0.05 so Ho is rejected. Thus, there is an effect of playing archery on reducing the level of burnout. Burnout is a serious problem in online learning so it requires proper handling because it has an impact on learning and student achievement. The learning process must be carried out calmly and comfortably so that it can improve the quality of students. Archery, which is packaged with the concept of playing, can be one way to reduce burnout levels during online learning. This archery sport focuses as a means of entertainment that can provide a sense of pleasure and comfort.

Abstract

Perubahan metode belajar terjadi selama pandemi, dengan banyaknya pembelajaran konferensi virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran durasi dan frekuensi paparan konferensi virtual selama pembelajaran di masa pandemi serta hubungannya terhadap learning burnout (LBO) pada mahasiswa kedokteran tahap preklinik. Desain penelitian ini merupakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada November 2020 dengan 155 orang mahasiswa kedokteran tahap preklinik sebagai sampel. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) dan kuesioner Konferensi Virtual yang disusun oleh peneliti terdiri dari Durasi paparan (jam/hari) dan Frekuensi paparan (hari/minggu). Regresi logistik digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antar variabel. Sebagian besar durasi konferensi virtual adalah 6-8 jam/hari dan frekuensi konferensi virtual 5-6 hari/minggu Terdapat 68 orang (43,9%) yang mengalami LBO kategori rendah dan 87 orang (56,1%) yang mengalami LBO dengan kategori sedang. Didapatkan hubungan yang bermakna antara Durasi konferensi virtual terhadap terjadinya LBO dengan nilai p-value = 0,03 (p0,05). Sedangkan Frekuensi paparan konferensi virtual tidak memiliki hubungan bermakna (p-value 0,35). Hal ini disebabkan tingginya variabel frekuensi tidak berbanding lurus dengan tingginya durasi, sehingga frekuensi tidak menunjukkan tingginya distress yang menyebabkan terjadinya LBO. Diperlukan adanya penelitian lanjutan dengan sampel lebih luas dan frekuensi paparan yang lebih bervariasi.
