Abstract

Schools as educational institutions with information technology services in the form of New Student Admission Systems, e-report systems, and other information technology services require devices supported by good service. Information technology devices must be appropriately managed to conduct business processes according to business goals. With good service management, the business value offered to customers (students) will increase. ITIL V4 contains information technology service management guidelines that contain best practices for information technology service management, including attention to customer experience, value streams, and support for current digital transformation. This research measures information technology equipment services at high schools in Kendal Regency. This research uses indicators adapted to schools with ITIL V4: Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Critical Success Factors (CSF). The results of this research show that the performance of the hardware needs to be improved, and the value of the maturity model for each service device is still not good.

Abstract

Communication was essential in various aspects of life due to the rapid development of information technology, including in the management of educational institutions and companies. PT. Sumber Nelayan Indonesia faced issues in production scheduling, where the process was still done manually using bookkeeping. This caused delays in order fulfillment, primarily due to machine breakdowns and human resource challenges that impacted the production process. Additionally, the company struggled to manage order data and machine capacity, making it difficult to estimate order completion times and the amount of output produced. This research aimed to develop a web-based management information system for scheduling using the Laravel framework to assist PT. Sumber Nelayan Indonesia in managing scheduling more effectively and efficiently. The research method employed was R&D, with the system development model following the waterfall method, utilizing PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. System testing was conducted using black box testing. The results of the research indicated that the developed system could help the company schedule production more efficiently, reduce delays, and improve operational efficiency.

Abstract

The creation or development of a system must go through a testing phase with the aim that before the system is implemented by the user, bugs or errors can be detected at the start. The PGRI Madiun University Asset Inventory and Documentation Unit (UIAD) is currently building and developing an information system for managing inventory, asset and document data. So far, data management still uses manual recording on paper forms. This creates a problem of inconsistency between data in the field and data in the unit. To improve the quality of the UIAD information system so that it is more optimal, it is necessary to carry out basic testing with smoke testing to ensure that the basic features function properly.  The aim of this research is to test the basic functionalities of the UIAD information system with smoke testing to provide recommendations for improvements in order to improve the quality of the UIAD information system. Testing is carried out manually with 3 types of test cases, namely login test case, master test case and asset test case. The test results show that the login test case passed 100%, the master test case passed 100%, and the asset test case passed 80%. Based on the test results, it is very important to carry out smoke testing on the basic functions of the system before the system is used so that bugs or errors can be found so that corrective action can be taken more quickly.

Abstract

Increased electronic media can help business efficiency in customer service and sales. The implementation of Business to Customer (B2C) focuses on operational improvements which include developing more effective marketing strategies providing more responsive and personalized customer service which aims to improve customer experience and strengthen long-term business relationships. Software implementations are designed to improve operational processes, optimize workflows and minimize time required. This research aims to design and build a web-based online ordering and purchasing information system at the Darma Building Store. The method used in this research is software development. Agile Software Development uses agile methods which are very efficient and convincing in recognizing changes and higher customer satisfaction. The programming language used is Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) with the Laravel framework. This research hopes that a web-based online ordering and purchasing information system can help the Darma Building Store manage inventory, increase operational efficiency, and making it easier for customers to make purchases. This system has several online ordering features, purchase reports and sales reports. This system is expected to help stores manage inventory, increase operational efficiency, and make it easier for customers to make purchases.

Abstract

Building material stores play an important role in providing building materials, but many still rely on conventional management systems that are less efficient in recording stock, transactions, and employee data. This results in delays in recording transactions, errors in stock monitoring, and the lack of an effective system in managing employee data. Therefore, this study aims to design a web-based information system to improve the operational efficiency of building material stores. This study uses the Waterfall method which consists of needs analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of this system also uses blackbox testing and system usability scale (SUS) testing. This system is designed to make it easier for administrators and employees to manage products, transactions, employee data, and financial reports in real-time. The results of the study show that the web-based information system improves the efficiency of transaction recording, minimizes stock monitoring errors, and simplifies the management of employee data and financial reports. This system allows building material stores to optimize operational performance, improve data accuracy, and provide better customer service.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Information Technology and Performance Appraisal on Employee Performance, with Motivation as an intervening variable, using a descriptive quantitative method and saturation sampling involving 80 respondents. Data was gathered via a questionnaire with an interval scale and analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results indicate that Information Technology positively and significantly impacts Employee Performance and Motivation, Performance Appraisal positively and significantly influences Employee Performance and Motivation, and Motivation positively and significantly affects Employee Performance. Additionally, Motivation mediates the relationship between Information Technology and Employee Performance, as well as between Performance Appraisal and Employee Performance.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires digital literacy as a crucial competency for students in navigating academic and social challenges. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy on students' ability to evaluate and analyze information, particularly in the context of technology-based Islamic Religious Education at SMA Negeri 1 Raha. A quantitative approach with a correlational causality design was used, with primary data collected through a structured questionnaire administered to students. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression to determine the extent to which digital literacy predicts students' evaluative and analytical abilities. The results indicate that digital literacy significantly improves students' critical information processing abilities, particularly in assessing the credibility of religious information, distinguishing between facts and opinions, and analyzing arguments. These findings highlight that students with higher levels of digital literacy are better able to engage critically with the vast and diverse information available in the digital space. This article contributes theoretically by strengthening the role of digital literacy as a predictive factor for higher-order thinking skills, and practically by offering implications for educators and policymakers in integrating digital literacy training into the Islamic Religious Education curriculum. Additionally, this study paves the way for future research by incorporating additional variables, such as learning motivation and collaborative skills, to provide a broader understanding of how digital literacy relates to academic achievement and important learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of information overload on decision postponement, with customer confusion as a mediating variable, in the context of consumer behavior on e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. The study adopts a quantitative approach, conducted through a survey method using Google Forms as the data collection instrument, involving 150 active e-commerce users as respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings reveal that information overload has a positive and significant effect on both customer confusion and decision postponement. Moreover, customer confusion is found to significantly mediate the relationship between information overload and decision postponement. These results support the Stressor–Strain–Outcome (SSO) theory and indicate that excessive information load can lead to confusion, which in turn causes consumers to delay decision-making. This study contributes to the enrichment of theoretical literature in the field of digital consumer behavior and provides practical implications for e-commerce practitioners in managing the information presented to consumers.

Abstract

The growth of science and technology brings a sustainability revolution to a company, and leaders must be able to direct change by using technology to adapt to the era of digitalization. For this reason, the topic of this research is directed towards digitalization and technology by selecting the object Airport Administration Department PT. Angkasa Pura I Juanda Airport, Surabaya. This research analyses and tests the influence of Digital Leadership, Management Information Systems (TNDE applications), and Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance. Quantitative research methods with primary data sources will be used in this research. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample with a population of 31 employees of the Airport Administration Department. Statistical analysis of the study used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of smart pls version 4 software. The results of the research explain that digital leadership has a significant positive effect on employee performance, management information systems (TNDE application) has a significant positive effect on employee performance, emotional intelligence has a considerable positive impact on employee performance, and there is a simultaneous or joint influence between digital leadership, management information system (TNDE application), and emotional intelligence on Airport Administration Department employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of implementing a human resource information system on employee performance with employee engagement as a moderating variable at an outsourcing company. This research is an explanatory type of research that uses a quantitative approach with a population of 54 internal employees. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample with a sample size of 54 internal employees. The statistical analysis method in this study is Partial Least Square, which is supported by SmartPLS 4.1.0.0 computer software. The result of this study indicates that performance expectancy has a significant effect on employee performance, effort expectancy has a significant effect on employee performance, social influence has no significant effect on employee performance, and facilitating conditions have a substantial impact on employee performance. Employee engagement can’t moderate the relationship between performance expectancy and employee performance; employee engagement can’t moderate the relationship between effort expectancy and employee performance; employee engagement can’t moderate the relationship between social influence and employee performance; employee engagement can’t moderate the relationship between facilitating condition on employee performance. Companies that implement human resource information systems in their work are expected to pay attention to performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions from human resource information systems because applying them can improve employee performance.
