Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between madrasah digital report card-based management information systems and madrasah education quality at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Masthuriyah Sukabumi. Education management information systems are essential in managing educational institutions, especially schools. It is for effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy to improve school quality. This research utilises a quantitative descriptive methodology in order to objectively describe the relationship between variables. The data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The researchers found that the relationship between the management information system based on the Rapor Digital Madrasah (RDM) and the Quality of Madrasah Education has a significant relationship with a sig. correlation value of 0.497. The higher the management information system based on RDM, the higher the Madrasah Education Quality. Then, looking at the coefficient of determination means that the contribution of the variable management information system based on the RDM to the Quality of Madrasah Education is 24.7%; other factors influence the rest.

Abstract

This descriptive cross-sectional survey aimed to investigate the relationship between information technology self-efficacy and the use of library portal services among undergraduate students in selected universities in South-West Nigeria. A cross-sectional survey used stratified sampling to select 658 undergraduates from three Nigerian universities: University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, and Babcock University. The results revealed a high level of IT self-efficacy among respondents (mean=3.48) and significant use of library portals, particularly for research needs like finding scholarly materials (mean=3.50), accessing indexing services (mean=3.43), and seeking reference assistance (mean=3.39). Library computers were the most preferred access point (mean=3.11). A strong, significant positive correlation was found between IT self-efficacy and library portal use (r=0.609, p<0.05), indicating that greater self-efficacy in using IT corresponded with higher utilization of library portals and their services. The findings highlight the importance of fostering IT skills and self-confidence among students to facilitate effective use of digital library resources.

Abstract

For all countries and communities, including Indonesia, globalization is both a threat and an opportunity. Globalization is like a double-edged sword, and the very rapid development of information and communication technology is one of the greatest elements of globalization. Pancasila is a legacy of ancestral noble values extracted from the cultural values of the people of Indonesia. Cultural axiology and the principles of Pancasila are the noble values of Pancasila that can be used as a reference in the life of the nation and state. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the application of Pancasila as the actualization of State defense was very important, particularly with regard to the culture of literacy in order to suppress hoaxes. This study is a literature review that examines the Covid-19 pandemic as a social disaster, the attitude of defending the State, the actualization of Pancasila, the two sides of State security, and the attitude of defending the State during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of making this paper is to increase awareness in defending the public's state regarding the importance of literacy during the Covid-19 period. This work is based on a literature review. The literature search took place from January 1, 2021, to January 7, 2021. This study involves qualitative research, in which three types of approaches, namely: legal, conceptual, and analytical approaches, will examine in part all the materials and literature collected during the research period. The findings of this study show that covid-19 is a social disaster that attacks all aspects of human life, and one way for society to overcome the pandemic of Covid-19 is to defend the state and update the values of Pancasila in social life. In addition, one of the cultures that can be used to ward off non-military threats is Pancasila and the attitude of defending the state.

Abstract

Technology has been going rapidly through the years, and BIM is one of the massive developments that offer some benefits for the construction industry. BIM is widely used in building project and has started to be used in infrastructure projects such as toll roads. In a toll road project, cut and fill is one of the massive volumes, which consume a lot of time to calculate the quantity and has a high chance to human error. This research aims to determine the implementation of BIM in cut and fill quantity take-off in Toll Road Project. The methodology for this research is qualitative descriptive with in-depth interviews with the expert. The study shows that implementing quantity take-off with BIM increases accuracy, reduces time, minimizes human error and efficiency. Nevertheless, still have some lacks, such as expensive cost for siftware, hardware and training, needs a long time adaptation to the organization, and also need collaboration all of the stakeholder to succesfuly implement BIM

Abstract

The Tangerang Regency Government, as part of its digital transformation efforts, has been working to enhance public services through the development and implementation of e-Government initiatives. This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of data interoperability service modeling in e-Government applications based on Web Services using the Government Service Bus (GSB). The study will address the advantages and challenges associated with using the Government Service Bus, and provide practical recommendations for implementing the Government Service Bus as an effective application integration solution. COBIT 2019 is used as an assessment tool for the current condition. The research results reveal that a total of 138 applications have been identified, with 74 of them being public service applications. While 80% of the public service sector has been incorporated into integrated public service applications, their utilization remains limited. The current capability level of APO11 is at level 1, with an expected level of 2. Similarly, APO14 is at level 1, expected to reach level 2, and MEA01 is at level 0, with an expected level of 2. The author has proposed a data interoperability model that can be implemented within the Tangerang Regency Communication and Information Office, utilizing GSB as the middleware for interoperability processes, particularly for public service applications. Based on the proposed data interoperability model, the author also concludes that with its implementation, the Communication and Information Office will be able to address a significant portion of the technical recommendations derived from the gap analysis, although not necessarily all of them.

The research results show that: Law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal acts of falsifying information data and electronic transactions is divided into three, namely preemptive, preventive, and repressive. The obstacles faced in law enforcement against perpetrators of criminal acts of falsifying information data and electronic transactions are divided into internal obstacles, namely the limited number of investigators, high operational costs, and lack of optimal coordination between the police and other related parties. Meanwhile, external obstacles include the lack of evidence obtained from the victim, the majority of witnesses not knowing who the person was, when, what they were using, and the reason the account was created, and a lack of legal awareness from the public.

Abstract

Conflicts over public information disputes have increased in the past three years. This study aims to analyze the process of information flow that occurs in information dispute conflicts and to analyze solutions to prevent and handle information dispute conflict problems. This study intends to analyze conflict resolution resolution of public information disputes in Indonesia using communication theory and conflict resolution theory in depth. The methodology in this research is qualitative method using library research method. Based on the results of the research analysis, it was concluded that the process of information flow that occurs in conflicts over public information disputes is hampered due to dissatisfaction from public information applicants with requests for information submitted from public bodies, because there are differences in perception. The solution to conflict prevention is increased awareness of the parties involved regarding rights and obligations related to public information, training and education on public information disclosure, formulation of clear policies on related Standard Operating Procedures and increased internal mediation between public bodies and information applicants. In addition, solutions for handling information dispute conflicts, in addition to mediation and adjudication in accordance with regulations, can be improved through increasing understanding of regulations regarding Public Information Disclosure and increasing the institutional capacity of the Information Commission.
