Abstract

Employee attendance is primary factor at an institution or company in achieving target. This condition relates to disciplines. And affect to pros and cons company management or human resource quality it self, impact that happened can be in the form of lack of output from production result. Much company managements take decision by conduct salary amputation of each absence employee in the operation. In consequence, must existence of special record to note existence and employees absence in order to employees existence in conducting job activity are noted properly. A lot of way of used for processing employees attendance, one of that is with use barcode machine. In STEKOM, absence system which used is fingerprint scanner machine, but the system mentioned is requiring expensive cost enough, it needs troubleshooting and also repairing. So that company have to releasing a lot of cost for handle employees attendance process. Beside that, damage fingerprint condition, wet and dirty can be became of employees. So its disturb process of absence transaction. Minutiae method is a method which is used by the writer in this research. This method is assumed as an effective method to describe the intrinsic elements in designing and identifying finger print. It is because in processing a program, it should be described in order to be understandable.

Abstract

The current development of Information Technology (IT) has a huge impact on various aspects of life. This support makes it possible to send and receive information quickly without having to meet the desired person in person. The Animal Health Center (Puskeswan) is a place for providing animal health services accompanied by veterinarians and paramedics. Like humans, animals have the right to happiness in their lives. Currently, the level of animal welfare compliance remains very low. This is not only proven by government actions that have not been optimal in protecting animal rights and regulations to protect animal rights that have not been fully implemented. If patient data is recorded on a patient card, it will have negative impacts, including: Limited accessibility, possibility of data loss, human error, not environmentally friendly. An animal medical record information system is very important and useful, some of the reasons include: Efficient data management, better health care, routine care management. The research method uses the Waterfall Method system development method

Abstract

The management and tracking of assets at the Land Office of Bireuen District have become increasingly complex, necessitating the development of a more efficient and systematic approach. This study proposes the design and implementation of a web-based Asset Management Information System (AMIS) to optimize asset tracking processes. The system aims to provide real-time asset data, improve accuracy, and streamline the management workflow. Key features include asset registration, location tracking, maintenance scheduling, and reporting capabilities. By utilizing web technologies, the AMIS ensures accessibility and ease of use for authorized personnel. The implementation of this system is expected to significantly enhance asset management efficiency, reduce human error, and provide comprehensive data analytics for better decision-making. Initial testing and feedback from users indicate a substantial improvement in the overall asset management process at the Land Office of Bireuen District.

Abstract

Efficient course scheduling is a critical task for academic institutions to ensure optimal use of resources and minimize conflicts. This paper presents the implementation of a Genetic Algorithm (GA) in the development of a web-based course scheduling information system at the Faculty of Computer and Multimedia, UNIKI. The primary objective is to create a robust scheduling system that addresses common scheduling challenges such as overlapping classes, uneven distribution of course loads, and room availability. The Genetic Algorithm is utilized due to its effectiveness in solving complex optimization problems. The algorithm's selection, crossover, and mutation processes are tailored to the unique requirements of course scheduling. The system is designed to generate feasible and near-optimal schedules by iteratively improving a population of potential solutions. Preliminary results indicate that the GA-based scheduling system significantly reduces scheduling conflicts by 95% and enhances the overall scheduling process compared to traditional methods. Classroom utilization improved, with an average occupancy rate of 85%, and user satisfaction increased by 80% due to the intuitive user interface and time-saving automated process. These results demonstrate the potential of Genetic Algorithms to streamline academic scheduling, making it a valuable tool for educational institutions.

Abstract

Nowadays, cybersecurity is crucial. Therefore, cybersecurity awareness should be a concern for businesses, particularly critical infrastructure organizations. The results of this study, using simulated phishing attacks, indicate that in the first attempt, workers of a Thai railway firm received a phony email purporting to inform recipients of a special deal from a reputable retailer of information technology (IT) equipment. The findings showed that 10.9% of the 735 workers fell for the scam. This demonstrates a good level of awareness regarding cyber dangers. The workers who were duped by the initial attack received awareness training. Next, a second attempt was carried out. This time, the strategy was for the workers to change their passwords through an email notification from the fake IT staff. According to the findings, 1.4% of the workers fell victim to both attacks (different email content), and a further 8.0% of the workers who did not fall victim to the first attack were deceived. Furthermore, after the statistical analysis, it was confirmed that there is a difference in the relationship between the workers and the two phishing attack simulations using different content. As a result, this study has demonstrated that different types of content can affect levels of awareness.
