Abstract

As organizations quickly become increasingly digital, they are experiencing escalating, complex cyber threats. These challenges make cybersecurity an important area for managers and governance, and not just a technical problem. Even if you are a heavy investor in security tech, it still happens to many companies to suffer from cyber. The reasons are broken information flows, a lack of clear visibility among managers, and misalignment between the security operations and the overall decision-making. This research rethinks Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) as a Management Information System (MIS). It combines the approach of cybersecurity governance and IT project management to increase the resilience of organizations. Using MIS theory, cybersecurity governance models, and studies of IT project management, the paper derives one cohesive model for translating raw threat data into useful managerial insight. Through a design science methodology, the research chooses a lot of scholarly sources and demonstrates a layered AI-enabled CTI-MIS architecture. This is good architecture for strategic oversight, risk-based governance, and flexible project execution. The paper extends the theory of MIS to Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven cybersecurity intelligence and provides practical knowledge for companies seeking to achieve resilient digital transformation in a time of evolving cyber threats.

Abstract

Information systems play a critical role in enhancing service quality and operational efficiency in healthcare institutions. However, personnel and activity management in many hospitals is still conducted through manual or fragmented processes, leading to data duplication, administrative delays, limited transparency, and difficulties in generating accurate reports. RSKM Regina Eye Center faces similar challenges, particularly in recording daily employee activities, managing leave and overtime submissions, and organizing doctor schedules, which are not yet integrated into a unified system. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Hospital Personnel and Activity Management Information System (SIM-KARS) to address these issues. The system was developed using the Waterfall method for software development and implemented with the Laravel framework, supported by PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. System evaluation was conducted through black-box testing and a user satisfaction assessment. The results indicate that SIM-KARS improves administrative efficiency, data accuracy, transparency, and ease of access to personnel information. This research aims to examine the role of internal audit and digital-based accounting information systems in supporting organizational sustainability. The research approach uses a qualitative method with a literature study design. The research population includes international scientific articles that discuss internal auditing, digital accounting information systems, and sustainability, with a sample of Scopus Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 indexed articles and journals as well as reputable international journals. The data collection technique was carried out through a search of the Scopus and Google Scholar databases with publication inclusion criteria for the 2020–2025 period. The data analysis method uses thematic analysis and narrative synthesis to identify the relationship patterns, strategic roles, and contribution mechanisms of internal audit and digital accounting information systems to sustainability. The results of the study show that internal audits play a role in strengthening governance, risk management, and sustainable internal control, while digital accounting information systems improve the transparency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information. The integration of the two strengthens data-driven decision-making and supports the achievement of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The implications of this research provide a conceptual contribution to the development of a sustainability framework based on internal audit and accounting digitization and become a practical reference for organizations in designing sustainability-oriented control and reporting systems.

Abstract

Enhancing the accountability and effectiveness of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) requires an information-system architecture that aligns business processes with public reporting needs. Prior public-sector studies often remain conceptual and rarely demonstrate an end-to-end path from stakeholder requirements to user-validated architectural design. This study proposes a strategy grounded in Enterprise Architecture using the TOGAF-ADM approach. A qualitative, design-oriented method was employed through policy document analysis, stakeholder interviews/observations, and a SWOT assessment feeding the Architecture Vision. The outcome comprises core artifacts across the Business-Data-Application-Technology layers that specify service objectives, information needs, and application support for BUMDes key processes. User acceptance testing indicates a 97% acceptance rate, evidencing strong alignment between the design and operational/reporting requirements. The study contributes a replicable architectural strategy as a foundation for developing integrated information systems in BUMDes settings. Limitations include a single-case context; future work should test generalizability across varying organizational scales and institutional conditions.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has been widely used in the field of translation in recent years. However, the use of AI in translation has been limited due to its limitations in handling cultural nuances, implicit meanings, and complex language structures. This study aims to analyse the meta-language awareness of English Language Education students in conducting critical analysis of translation since the emergence of AI. In addition, this study explores how students assess the accuracy and bias in AI translation results and the extent to which they are able to correct or improve the translation independently. This case study focuses on students' perspectives and viewpoints in understanding, evaluating, and critiquing the translation results produced by AI and how their critical analysis skills develop in the context of translation. The findings highlight that AI can serve as a valuable tool, but it should not be solely relied upon for tasks requiring deep linguistic understanding, particularly in academic, professional, and cross-cultural communication settings.

Abstract

This research investigates the analysis of atmospheric conditions using radiosonde data and the ECMWF ERA5 model for extreme weather events at Minangkabau International Airport, West Sumatra. The study measures atmospheric stability indices and other parameters obtained from observational data and the model. Using a Skew-T Log-P diagram, the analysis shows that atmospheric conditions on January 16, 2024, and January 27, 2024, were volatile, supporting the development of extreme weather phenomena such as thunderstorms. CAPE value on January 16 was 2898 J/kg (observations) and 3345 J/kg (model). The correlation between observational data and the ECMWF model shows very high results, with correlation values of 0.9970 on March 8, 2024, and 0.9977 on April 2, 2024, indicating that the ECMWF model accurately represents atmospheric conditions. This research proves that the ECMWF model is reliable for weather forecasting at Minangkabau International Airport.

Abstract

There are plenty of tours in Indonesia, however not all tourist destinations are adequately run by the local government, and associated parties are less equipped to advertise travel online. As a result, many visitors avoid tourist destinations with poorly maintained information. The solution to the issues facing the tourism industry is the Geographic Information System. Geographic information systems are created using a circular approach, which can subsequently assist potential travelers who wish to visit a location by looking for tourist attractions to visit. Travelers can view the locations they wish to visit along with maps, and related parties will also benefit from foreign exchange input from tourists. Therefore, it is anticipated that this research will result in a geographic information system that aids in recommending various tourist places that are appropriate to visit.
