Abstract

The information system of online teaching services with geo-location determination is a system that brings together and arranging meetings between private tutors and people looking for private tutors through Android application supported with geo-location. People can go looking for tutors of related subject for specific time of meeting and location, and then the system will search tutors with matched time of availability within nearest location radius. In addition, students can organize or plan a learning meeting session with the teacher through the application. This information system is a client-server based where the built application consists of Android applications running on the client environment and web applications running on the server environment. Mobile/client applications are used by end-users to search and organize learning session. Web applications serves as web services and interfaces for administrator to manage master data, view user and transaction data, print reports, and respond to complaints from end-users. The programming language used in building this information system is the Java programming language for mobile applications and PHP for web applications and web services. And using MySQL as the database.

Abstract

We must recognize the development of technology at this time has developed very rapidly in this era of globalization. Moreover, the development of internet-based computer technology. By using the internet we can search for the information we need from around the world quickly and accurately. However, there are still many companies in Indonesia that have difficulty in implementing computerized systems within the company, especially in internet-based information systems. From the research conducted, there are several weaknesses in the processing of reports that occur, namely it takes a long time to make a form, record the transactions and also take a lot of paper / media recording. In addition, there is no computerized system dedicated to this process. With the creation of a system of making reports with this method, it is expected to assist in generating reports and checking jobs faster and more accurately. After the design, manufacture, and testing of the application application and inventory inventory program, conclusions can be drawn, namely more company performance efficient and prone to errors if data entry is incorrect. In implementing the new system, it is expected to run smoothly.

Abstract

HRIS application is an application that is needed to manage human resources well and integrated the system. Usability in a system is very necessary in the development of a system so that it can affect the use of the application. The author tests the usability user interface on HRIS products using the cognitive walkthrough evaluation method, which works through a series of task scenarios and asks a number of questions from the user's perspective, and the method of usefulness, satisfaction, ease of use (USE) Questionnaire to assess how much usability is done by the user. The cognitive walkthrough testing is done by using the application that has been made by the author, after that the author makes improvements to the system according to the results of the test. Then after being repaired, the system was tested again with the same application, then the results were assessed using the USE Questionnaire and compared with previous results. The result is that the system has increased from previously by 3.67 from a scale of 1-5 to 4.04, up by 0.34.

Abstract

This system is designed to help customers find electronic service centers were spread in Tangerang. The distribution of electronic service center makes it difficult for users to determine the right electronic service center. Sometimes customers don’t know the results of repairs from the electronic service center. Search for electronic service center on the system is using the Haversine method. Haversine is used to calculate the distance between the position of the customer and the position of the electronic service centers. In addition to Haversine, the search for electronic service center will be adjusted to the type of goods you want to repair and rating from the results of the performance electronic service center. In this system, the customer can choose the damage diagnosis available and the customer can also make a special order by describing the customer's damage. This system was tested using Black Box Testing with Boundary Value Analysis technique, based on the results of testing the system can use data with a success percentage of 96.66%. The system is tested with User Acceptance Testing to find out how much the level of user acceptance of the system designed, and the result is 75% of users agree with the system.

Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN KAPABILITAS UNIT PENGELOLA SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN TERPADU (INTEGRATED FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS) STUDI KASUS PADA PENERAPAN SISTEM PERBENDAHARAAN DAN ANGGARAN NEGARA (SPAN)  DI KEMENTERIAN KEUANGAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini banyak Negara termasuk Indonesia, telah memulai, dan sedang menerapkan agenda reformasi di Negara masing-masing, khususnya pada manajemen keuangan publik. Hal ini telah membuat penerapan IFMIS (Integrated Financial Management Information Systems) menjadi satu agenda terpenting. IFMIS dapat meningkatkan pelayanan publik dalam hal meningkatkan tingkat kepuasan layanan yang dibutuhkan oleh seluruh pemangku kepentingan. Disisi lain IFMIS dapat memberikan informasi keuangan yang akurat dan tepat-waktu kepada manajer baik di kantor pusat, di kantor wilayah dan di kantor kabupaten atau kota, serta dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan kapabilitas pengambilan keputusan. Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia saat ini sedang menerapkan IFMIS yang dikenal dengan nama SPAN (Sistem Perbendaharaan dan Anggaran Negara), dimana ERP-COTS telah dipilih sebagai landasan (platform) pengembangan sistem. Salahsatu area terpenting dalam penerapan IFMIS adalah pada proses deployment, termasuk penyiapan dan pengembangan kapabilitas Unit Pengelola IFMIS dalam menghadapi kesiapan penerapan, khususnya menghadapi fase Go-Live. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah model pengembangan kapabilitas untuk Unit Pengelola IFMIS, dalam rangka mendukung penerapan IFMIS di Indonesia, khususnya dalam menghadapi tahapan Go-Live. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian Action Research (AR), yang dipergunakan untuk membentuk dan meng-eksplorasi sebuah model pengembangan kapabilitas dalam tiga fase. Keseluruhan fase dikembangkan paralel dengan fase penerapan IFMIS. Temuan: Beberapa temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa terdapat beberapa tantangan termasuk didalamnya kurangnya personel yang berkualifikasi, kemunduran jadwal penyelesaian kustomisasi ERP-COTS, resistensi, dan isu-isu lainnya dalam pengembangan kapabilitas Unit Pengelola IFMIS. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini berupa sejumlah refleksi yang sekaligus menjadi pengetahuan yang diperoleh peneliti, pada setiap fase pelaksanaan penelitian AR yang telah dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini, sebuah model yang relevan dikembangkan, yang memungkinkan proses pengembangan kapabilitas dilakukan secara lebih berhasil, khususnya kapabilitas dari setiap anggota Unit Pengelola IFMIS, guna mengelola IFMIS sebagai sebuah sistem informasi baru dalam fase Go-Live. Kesimpulan: Penerapan IFMIS memerlukan waktu yang lama dengan segala kompleksitasnya, yang mempengaruhi rencana pengembangan kapabilitas guna memenuhi kapabilitas yang dibutuhkan oleh sebuah Unit Pengelola IFMIS. Namun demikian, model pengembangan kapabilitas Unit Pengelola IFMIS yang telah dibangun diakhir penelitian ini, dapat dipergunakan dalam menghadapi kondisi penerapan yang sangat dinamis, dan pada saat yang sama menyukseskan penerapan IFMIS. Model tersebut direkomendasikan untuk dipergunakan oleh pemerintah Indonesia dalam penerapan sistem informasi, khususnya di area pelayanan publik. Kata kunci: IFMIS, Fase Penerapan IFMIS, ERP-COTS, Unit Pengelola IFMIS, Pengembangan Kapabilitas, Action Research   In recent years, many countries including Indonesia have to implement their reform agenda, especially in Public Financial Management. It makes Integrated Financial Management Information Systems (IFMIS) implementation become one of the important agenda. IFMIS can improve public sector services in term of services satisfaction level that need by all stakeholders. On the otherhand IFMIS by providing accurate, real-time financial information to managers both in head quarter office, regional and municipal office can enhance their work performance as well as decision-making capabilities. The Ministry of Finance of Republic of Indonesia is currently in the process of the implementation of an IFMIS called as SPAN (Sistem Perbendaharaan dan Anggaran Negara), where ERP-COTS has been chosen as a development platform. One of the important areas in IFMIS Implementation is on deployment including the preparation and development of IFMIS Management Unit capability to cope with implementation readiness, especially in Go-Live phase. Objectives: The aim of this research is to develop a capability development model for IFMIS Management Unit in term of to support the IFMIS implementation in Indonesia. Method: This is a qualitative research, where action research method is used to configure and explore the proposed model into three phases of capability development. All phases are developed parallel with IFMIS implementation processes. Based on the result of this research, a relevan model is developed. Findings: The findings of this research indicate that there are a number of challenges including lack of qualified people, resistency, and others issues involved with the capability development of IFMIS Management Unit. Results: The result of this research is a list of reflections as well as knowledge that researcher acquired for each phase of this Action Research. Based on the result of this research, a relevant model is developed that may make the process of capability development more successful, especially in the capability of member of IFMIS Management Unit to manage IFMIS as a new information systems in Go-Live Phase. Conclusion: The Implementation of IFMIS takes along time and with its complexity, that influence the capability development plan to fulfill the capability that require by an IFMIS Management Unit.  However, there is a model of IFMIS capability development that can be used to cope with a implementation dynamic condition as well as to make the IFMIS project succeed. The model is recommended to be used by the government of Indonesia in information systems implementation, especially in Public Service sector. Abstract

Companies in Indonesia are still struggling to improve their intra- and inter-firm integration, and are still in the early stages of such integration. Therefore, this study is to measure and confirm the relation of horizontal information integration within a company's cross functional integration to vertical information integration of the company with their customers and suppliers, and how that affects customer satisfaction and financial performance. We used structural equation modeling (SEM) to investigate supplier and customer integration strategies using a sample of 90 manufacturing, distribution, and retail companies in Indonesia. The respondents from each company were limited to senior managers with functional areas of expertise and responsibility. The research was conducted through a survey questionnaire. The results of the study show 1) a positive direct relationship between integrated information and customer satisfaction, 2) a positive relationship between customer satisfaction and financial performance, and 3) a positive relationship from integrated information through to financial performance. The holistic implementation of information integration strategies in other developing countries can help companies to excel and gain measurable financial performances

Abstract

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a complex system that involves various stakeholders as users of ERP system within an organization. This research is the development of Hwang’s research (2005) who applies the implementation and adoption of ERP system in informal controls, such as self-control and cultural control. Perceived enjoyment as self-control and uncertainty avoidance as cultural control are used in the implementation of ERP systems and connected to technology acceptance variables for investigating the relationship between these variables. Field data taken through surveys of ERP system users in Indonesia (n=188) are analyzed by Amos. The results support the hypothesis of this research which shows that perceived enjoyment as self-control and uncertainty avoidance as cultural-control are important determinants of ERP system acceptance.

Abstract

Hospitals are responsible to establish the patients’ medical information. However, in reality they should encounter conflicts with the third party who represents the patients to get the medical information, such as the insurance company. This research aims to discover about hospital’s responsibility in establishing patients’ medical information as a proof to claim the insurance and the problems that should be encountered by the hospital in carrying out the responsibility.This research was conducted in Telogorejo Hospital, Semarang. It implements juridical sociology approach with analytical description. The primary and secondary data were gathered from observation result, interview result, and questionnaires analyzed using the qualitative-descriptive method.The result shows that from legal aspect, Telogorejo Hospital has agreed to give the insurance companies which have partnership-relation the access to the patients’ medical information.Whereas for the insurance company which has no partnership-relation with the hospital, the medical information is given after getting the permission from the patients. It is also found out that the patients’ right for reimbursement claim has not yet been given at its best because the filling of the patients’ medical information has not satisfied the minimum, relevant, and adequate principals, so if it causes some disadvantages to the patients, the hospital is legally responsible following the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Article 46 Act Number 44 Year 2009 about Hospital based on the principle of Vicarius Liability. Nevertheless, there is no claim from the injured party. The criminal responsibility aspect of Telogorejo Hospital has protected the confidentiality of the medical information, so the implementation does not contradict with Article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Indonesia. From the administrative responsibility, Telogorejo Hospital can be expected to be responsible according to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Article 29 verse 2 Act Number 44 Year 2009 about hospital because Telogorejo Hospital has not optimally implemented the fulfillment of the patients’ right for the medical information. Besides that, the government has not fully monitored and given proper guidance to the hospitals. The other findings are the internal factors which include the incomplete medical records and the external factors, such as the lack of understanding about medical information by the third party, such as the insurance company, and the regulation of medical information release also affect the hospital responsibility.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari fase anak-anak menuju dewasa. Dalam ?fase ini, remaja memiliki permasalahan yang kompleks. Remaja sangat gampang terpengaruh dengan lingkungan, sehingga harapannya mahasiswa bisa beradaptasi dengan perkembangan dan perubahan yang ada. Perlu perhatian khusus bagi remaja yang berada difase ini. Oleh karena itu, perlunya informasi yang benar dan tepat yang bersumber dari mereka sendiri. Tujuan: Kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran melalui PIK R yaitu tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Metode: Dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan 3 tahapan yaitu pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan dan pasca pelaksanaan dan pengabdian ini berlangsung 2 hari. Hasil: Penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan PIK M dan terdapat perbedaan perilaku sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan PIK M

Abstract

Science and technology is growing in line with the development of business and economics. The development of the Internet as a means to disseminate information about the company has created a form of communication between the company and its stakeholders. The company as a provider of financial data will reach a wider user when using the website.The fact that there are not all companies provide a website to inform the company to stakeholders led to the need for this research. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the factors that affect the company's disclosure of information via the Internet (website).Research conducted on 45 companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange whose shares are listed in the LQ45. Hypothesis testing is done through either partial or simultaneously regression.Results of the study provide empirical evidence that the characteristics of the company consisting of firm size (SIZE), leverage (LEV) and type of industry (IND) simultaneously does not affect the e-CTI. However, for the partial test for this type of industry (IND) proved to yield significant results. That is, for companies that are in LQ45, type of industry influence on Internet-based information disclosure or use of the website. This proves that the company in a particular industry will reveal more information than other types of industries. Keywords: e-CTI, transparency, information.
