However the recharged enthusiasm for promoting brilliance in advanced education through Information Technology has carried with it a more prominent accentuation on the requirement for high-bore administration in this limit. Capability, combination of learning, joint effort with industry, collaboration among grounds at different levels, helpful procurement endeavors, what's more, transferability of gaining starting with one organization then onto the next are immeasurably imperative components in the administration way to deal with IT in higher Education. Abstract

Universitas Bina Darma is a university that has a vision to become an international standard university driven by innovations in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The aim of this research is to support the vision of Universitas Bina Darma by creating an inventory information system for the university-wide implementation. The research uses Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) which defines the data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and its implementation. EAP consists of four levels, where by the top level is planning initiation, the second level consists of two stages namely business modeling, and current systems and technology, the third level consists of three stages of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture. Lastly, the bottom level is implementation or migration plans. The results of this research is in the form of the Inventory Information Systems that has several menus, among others: procurement menu, maintenance menu, move transfer menu, space menu, loan space menu, asset menu and request menu. This Inventory Information System facilitates the faster processing of inventory data so as to produce quality report  that is timely available when needed by the leadership, as well as facilitates the supervision of existing inventory.

Abstract

Information-centric networking is a concept of network architecture which is a content-centric model, so there is no need to connect directly to the server to get the content sought by the client. The in-network caching strategy in ICN is a caching strategy that stores content as cache spread across the network. In-network caching consists of two combinations of cache placement and cache replacement strategies. The cache placement strategy manages the placement of content on a collection of routers that acts as a content store, while the cache replacement strategy manages content replacement when the cache storage capacity is full. If the content is not removed quickly and precisely it will have an impact on the efficiency of the content that will be received by the client, resulting in a small cache hit ratio and increased latency. The cache placement and cache replacement strategies are interrelated with each other in in-network caching. Content needs to be disseminated to the network through the content store optimally and ensure that the stored content is the latest and has the chance of a cache hit. Performance evaluation of in-network caching strategies is based on cache hit ratio performance metrics, latency and path stretch. In-network caching strategy testing is done with the Icarus simulator which is specifically designed according to the ICN architecture. The results obtained from this study are the combination of ProbCache cache placement strategy with LFU cache replacement has a superior performance according to test parameters compared to other in-network caching strategies. ProbCache and LFU obtained an average CHR value of 54.02%, an average latency of 0.54 ms, and an average path stretch ratio of 4.76.

Abstract

Sumatera Utara memiliki potensi wisata yang beragam, baik potensi alam maupun kekayaan budaya. Perkembangan pariwisata di Sumatera Utara semakin meningkat, oleh sebab itu diperlukan pendekatan secara teknologi dalam mendapatkan informasi pariwisata guna meningkatkan pendapatan melalui usaha di bidang pariwisata. Hal ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana dan prasarana Dinas Pariwisata Sumatera Utara untuk menarik minat masyarakat dalam berwisata bukan hanya keluar negeritetapi lebih mengutamakan potensi wisata yang ada di sekitar kita.  Dengan adanya pendekatan teknologi diharapkan informasi potensi pariwisata di Sumatera Utara dapat diterima dengan lebih optimal oleh para wisatawan. Kondisi ini dapat dipenuhi dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi literature, menganalisa kebutuhan perangkat lunak, melakukan digitasi peta, membangun database, merancang antar muka, dan melakukan pengujian program sebagai tahap akhir. Sistem yang dibangun berbasis web ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman HTML dan basis data PostgreSQL. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis di Sumatera Utara yang berbasis web yang didalamnya terdapat informasi jenis wisata, lokasi wisata serta fasilitas wisata tambahan berupa informasi hotel yang ada di Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The impact of climate change on the outbreak plant pest and disease seems to be likely increased in the future. However, operational information system on the outbreak of pest and disease on horticulture crops which can provide an overview of outbreak and distribution pest both in space and time is still very limited. The objective of the study is to developed prototype information system for providing information regarding area of horticulture pest and disease outbreak both space and time punctually and accurately. SIOPTHor is the early stage study to meet information regarding distribution of pest and disease outbreak. SIOPTHor is developed to performed information system including storage, processing, and analysis of distribution of pest and disease of horticulture data both in space and time on spatial and temporal. Distribution pest and disease attack data on horticulture crops (onions, red peppers and potatoes) for main horticulture crop areas in sub district level of Java were provided by local plant protection stations (BPTPH).. SIOPTHor was developed using waterfall systems development methods. This method consist of five stages, namely requirements analysis, design, implementation/coding, testing/verification and deployment/ maintenance. The software platform used for developing the system includes: 1) operation system Microsoft Windows 7, 2) programming language C#, 3) integrated development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, 4) database management system Microsoft Access 2007, 5) mapper MapWinGIS v.3, 6) and software utilities such as Collapsible Panel, Microsoft Chart for NET, and adobe photoshop portable. The results showed SIOPTHor information system display informations including:1) analysis of pest and disease distribution both in space and time, 2) the Top-k OPT analysis in sub district level, 3) The most severe pest outbreak, and 4) analysis of pest and disease vulnerable index.

Abstract

Informasi berperan penting dalam membantu manajer untuk mengambil keputusan.Pada satu sisi, karyawan yang berperan sebagai agen pada teori keagenan akan senang dan bangga ketika melaporkan kesuksesan yang mereka raih kepada prinsipal mereka dalam mencapai kinerja yang telah ditetapkan. Di sisi lain, karyawan juga sering menutup-nutupi kesalahan yang mereka perbuat, terutama jika kinerja yang telah ditetapkan dari organisasi tidak dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh budaya dan akulturasi etnis keturunan Tionghoa dalam keiginannya untuk berbagi informasi dalam aspek keperilakuan, dan menjelaskan bagaimana budaya dan akulturasi tersebut mempengaruhi keinginan karyawan untuk berbagi informasi dalam aspek akuntansi keperilakuan.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimendengan rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial.Faktor pertama adalah tingkat akulturasi etnis keturunanan Tionghoa yang dibedakan menjadi dua kategori yaitu etnis keturunan Tionghoa  Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah etnis keturunan Tionghoa yang memiliki akulturasi rendah (TAR) dan etnis keturunan Tionghoa yang memiliki tingkat akulturasi tinggi akulturasi tinggi (TAT). Faktor kedua adalah keberadaan supervisor yang dibedakan pula pada dua katagori ada supervisor (AS) dan tidak ada supervisor (TAS). Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa  latar belakang budaya dan tingkat akulturasi etnis keturunan Tionghoa mempengaruhi keinginan seseorang dalam berbagi informasi,dan keberadaan supervisor tidak mempengaruhi keinginan seseorang dalam berbagi informasi.

Abstract

This paper studies the influence entrepreneurial leadership, organizational culture and information systems on the implementation of risk management. This research used quantitative methods by conducting a survey to distribute questionnaires to research objects and processing data using Partial Least Square (PLS). Results from the test using Partial Least Square (PLS) confirm that a company always need a leader who creates opportunities and develops human resources. Organizational culture tends to make progress for the implementation of risk management is supported by a good information system. The results of this study suggest that facing an external environment that can increase the risk of companies required entrepreneurial leaders who provide direction and motivation to employees. In addition, organizational culture that focuses on the external environment, dare to innovate and do the differentiation. There are two culture in professional organizational culture, adhrocracy culture and market culture. Therefore, information systems that owned by company must follow the current technology developments.This study wants to see how the implementation of risk management in a company by assessing the characteristics of organization and knowing the development of the company in innovation with the challenges in the existing environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah tentang pengklasifikasian berita yang mengoptimalisasi dengan kombinasi antar algoritma. Tentang dataset yang digunakan diambil pada situs pemberitaan online. Algoritma yang digunakan adalah algoritma Naive Bayes Classifier, dan Random Forest dengan pembobotan seleksi fitur Information Gain. Dataset yang digunakan terdapat 615 dataset dengan 3 katagori atau tema berita. Dalam permodelan terdapat 6 model skenario sebagai pembanding untuk menentukan skenario mana yang mendapatkan nilai terbaik, berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini nilai terbaik didapatkan oleh model Remove Useless Attributes, Naive bayes Classifier-Multinomial, dan Random Forest-Feature Selection Information gain. Hasil evaluasi yang didapatkan adalah nilai accuracy 85.67%, nilai recall 85.67%, dan nilai precision 86.23

Abstract

Analysis of the odd even-numbered sentiment systems in Bekasi toll using the Naïve Bayes Algorithm, is a process of understanding, extracting, and processing textual data automatically from social media. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of accuracy, recall and precision of opinion mining generated using the Naïve Bayes algorithm to provide information community sentiment towards the effectiveness of the odd system of Bekasi tiolls on social media. The research method used in this study was to do text mining in comments-comments regarding posts regarding even odd oddities on Bekasi toll on Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Facebook. The steps taken are starting from preprocessing, transformation, datamining and evaluation, followed by information gaon feature selection, select by weight and applying NB Algorithm model. The results obtained from the study using the NB model are obtained Confusion Matrix result, namely accuracy of 79,55%, Precision of 80,51%, and Sensitivity or Recall of 80,91%. Thus this study concludes that the use of Support Vector Machine Algorithms can analyze even odd sentiments on the Bekasi toll road.

Abstract

Information systems can help all types of businesses to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. These factors cause many organizations to implement information systems by only paying attention to momentary needs. So that the copy information overlaps and the system platform is different from one another, which is not in accordance with the mission and purpose of the application of information systems. One of the main causes of these different platforms is due to lack of planning and without thinking about the main key in the process of developing information system. In this study a case study of the design of an enterprise architecture model of the information system of the academic and student administration bureau (BAAK) was designed by applying the TOGAF ADM method. Stages - The stages of the Togaf ADM methodology are translated into enterprise architecture modeling namely architecture vision, business architecture, information system architecture and information technology. This research is limited to the main business processes based on mapping using the value chain and only reaches the Opportunities and Solution phase in TOGAF ADM with a sample of research at a private university in DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to overcome the problem in the old system where some of the processing is found to be still managed manually. This research produces a blueprint of information system architecture in the form of application candidates for each sub-organization that is arranged based on the priority level of needs so that the implementation process is in accordance with the desired and does not interfere with the performance of the information system both running and being built. This research also serves as a reference for the foundation of the development of the SI architecture in the management of universities to be able to improve services. In this study, there can be seen a gap in business processes where in running a business at BAAK UNU has not used IT as its main requirement and also processing academic operational data still using standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
