Abstract

 Abstrak: Kesiapan kerja penting bagi mahasiswa sebelum memasuki dunia kerja, mengingat persaingan di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh pengalaman magang dunia usaha/dunia industri terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa; (2) pengaruh penguasaan teknologi informasi terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa; (3)  pengaruh pengalaman magang dunia usaha/dunia industri dan penguasaan teknologi informasi terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa PAP FKIP UNS angkatan 2021 – 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi berjumlah 180 mahasiswa dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 124 responden. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pengalaman magang dunia usaha/dunia industri terhadap kesiapan kerja Mahasiswa PAP FKIP UNS yang dibuktikan melalui nilai thitung 4,509 > ttabel 1,980; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan penguasaan teknologi informasi terhadap kesiapan kerja Mahasiswa PAP FKIP UNS, dibuktikan melalui nilai thitung 2,589 > ttabel 1,980; (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pengalaman magang dunia usaha/dunia industri dan penguasaan teknologi informasi terhadap kesiapan kerja Mahasiswa PAP UNS, dibuktikan melalui nilai Fhitung 36,164 > Ftabel 3,07.Kata kunci: sektor bisnis dan industri; keterampilan teknologi informasi; kesiapan profesional; analisis kuantitatifAbstract: Work readiness constitutes a vital competency for students entering the workforce, particularly given contemporary global competition. This study examined: (1) the effect of business/industry internship experience on student work readiness; (2) the effect of information technology mastery on student work readiness; and (3) the combined effect of internship experience and information technology mastery on work readiness among Office Administration Education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret, cohorts 2021–2022. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of 180 students and a sample of 124 respondents selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression using SPSS Statistics 26. Results demonstrated that: (1) internship experience significantly and positively influenced work readiness (t = 4.509 > 1.980, p < .001); (2) information technology mastery significantly and positively influenced work readiness (t = 2.589 > 1.980, p = .011); and (3) internship experience and information technology mastery jointly exhibited significant positive effects on work readiness (F = 36.164 > 3.07, p < .001). The coefficient of determination (R²) was .374, indicating that both variables explained 37.4% of work readiness variance.Keywords: business and industry sector; information technology skills; professional readiness; quantitative analysis

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of learning media and information technology-based learning on the learning outcomes of ninth-grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving 63 students divided into experimental and control classes. Prior to the intervention, instrument validity tests were conducted with expert validators and a set of 25 valid multiple-choice questions was administered. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests. The results show that the control class, taught conventionally, achieved an average pre-test score of 37.88 and a post-test score of 49.25, while the experimental class, which was taught using learning media and technology-based methods, achieved an average pre-test score of 50.37 and a post-test score of 85.16. Hypothesis testing revealed a significant difference, with t<sub>count</sub> (3.834) > t<sub>table</sub> (0.404) and p-value < 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis was rejected. The findings demonstrate that the use of learning media and information technology-based learning has a significant positive impact on students’ learning outcomes in Civic Education, enhancing their engagement, critical thinking, and comprehension. This study suggests that integrating digital learning tools can create more effective, interactive, and enjoyable learning experiences

Abstract

This study examines how Information Quality (IQ) and Service Quality (SQ) influence Management Control Effectiveness (MCE) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Cirebon City, by considering System Use (SU) as a mediating variable and User Satisfaction (US) as a moderating variable. Drawing on the DeLone and McLean IS Success Model, this study addresses the limited empirical evidence on how accounting information systems support management control practices in MSMEs. Data were collected from 180 MSME actors who use accounting information systems and analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that SU plays a central role in improving MCE and mediates the relationship between SQ and MCE. IQ has a direct positive effect on MCE, while its relationship with SU is moderated by US. User satisfaction also strengthens the role of service quality in encouraging system use. These findings highlight that the effectiveness of management control in MSMEs depends not only on the quality of information and services, but also on how actively users engage with the system. The study suggests that improving digital literacy and user-oriented system support can enhance the benefits of accounting information systems for MSME management control.

Abstract

Purpose – The implementation of cloud computing technology for integrating Academic Information Systems (SIAKAD) offers solutions to challenges regarding centralized infrastructure, limited scalability, and data security issues faced by higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the performance and data security aspects of academic information systems integrated via cloud computing platforms.Methods – Employing both quantitative and qualitative approaches, the performance evaluation focuses on access speed, scalability, and operational efficiency. Meanwhile, the security analysis examines data protection mechanisms both at rest and in transit as well as compliance with cloud security standards.Findings – The results indicate that cloud-based integration significantly enhances access speed, service availability, and the flexibility of academic data management.Research implications – However, the findings also identify that data security and privacy governance remain critical challenges, necessitating the implementation of rigorous access controls such as encryption and identity management—to mitigate cyber threats.Originality – In conclusion, the adoption of cloud technology yields substantial efficiency improvements in academic services, provided it is accompanied by a comprehensive and structured cybersecurity strategy.

Abstract

This research study looked into the prospective implementation of the Smart-Access Community Information System (SACIS). The respondents comprised 20 licensed local geodetic engineers who are duly registered with the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines (GEP), as well as 30 Geodetic Engineering students from Baguio Central School. The study utilized a developmental-descriptive research design in conjunction with a descriptive survey approach to obtain comprehensive insights into stakeholder perceptions. Data were primarily collected through a structured questionnaire, which was carefully adapted and refined to ensure its validity, clarity, and appropriateness for addressing the research objectives. Based on the data collected, the study revealed several key findings: The current level of awareness regarding Smart Access to Land Information was assessed and established. Findings indicate that the Smart-Access platform is highly effective in terms of accessibility, accuracy, efficiency, and transparency. Moreover, the potential challenges that may arise during the future implementation of the Smart Access Community Information System (SACIS) are perceived as very much serious by the respondents, underscoring the need for careful planning and mitigation strategies to ensure successful deployment. The study concludes that the community has moderate awareness of Smart Access Community Information System (SACIS), understanding its objectives and benefits but showing varied knowledge across its purpose, services, and impact. The Smart-Access platform is considered highly effective, improving accessibility, accuracy, efficiency, and transparency compared to traditional methods, and is recognized for enhancing service delivery. However, respondents also perceive potential challenges—such as limited digital infrastructure, low digital literacy, and resistance to change.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of Break Even Point (BEP) and Margin of Safety (MOS) information as a basis for determining production quantities in controlling sales risk at Amira Sumedang Tofu Factory. The study is motivated by fluctuating market demand and the perishable nature of tofu products, which require effective production planning to minimize the risk of financial losses. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed using primary and secondary data collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and business records. The analysis was conducted using Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) techniques, particularly Break Even Point (BEP) and Margin of Safety (MOS) calculations. The findings indicate that the factory’s sales consistently remained above the break-even point during the January–April 2026 period, demonstrating the company’s ability to cover all production costs and generate profits. The calculated BEP sales value was IDR 14,950,166, while actual monthly sales ranged from IDR 35,750,000 to IDR 42,240,000. Furthermore, the Margin of Safety values ranged from 58.2% to 64.6%, indicating that the company maintained a strong sales safety margin and faced a relatively low risk of financial loss. The highest MOS value was recorded in January (64.6%), while the lowest occurred in February (58.2%), although sales remained safely above the break-even level. The study concludes that BEP and MOS are effective management accounting tools for supporting production planning and controlling sales risk. BEP provides information regarding the minimum sales and production levels required to avoid losses, while MOS measures the degree of sales security against potential declines in demand. Therefore, the utilization of BEP and MOS information can assist MSMEs in making more accurate production decisions, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining business sustainability in a competitive market environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the construction industry has led to major innovations through the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), which enables cross-disciplinary collaboration within a single integrated digital model. However, this transformation also presents new legal challenges, particularly regarding the allocation of responsibility in the event of construction failures. This study aims to analyse how contractual clauses govern risk distribution associated with BIM use and how digital collaboration practices shape the determination of legal liability in real-world projects. Using a qualitative approach grounded in literature review and normative analysis, it was found that the collaborative nature of BIM blurs the traditional boundaries between designers, contractors, and project owners. The lack of clear regulations and the weak implementation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) often make it difficult to identify the liable party in cases of design errors or technical failures. Therefore, reformulation of contracts and regulations is required to explicitly define rights, obligations, and digital audit mechanisms to ensure legal certainty. In conclusion, the use of BIM demands comprehensive legal adaptation to balance technological efficiency and professional accountability in the era of digital construction.

Abstract

Digital transformation is still an ongoing process in health service delivery to improve operational performance and service quality. However, BPJS Kesehatan patient referrals are still trapped in administrative bottlenecks. At Mulia Medika Clinic, staff used to handle BPJS patient referrals manually, so that records were prone to errors and delays in obtaining information. We designed, implemented, and tested a desktop-based BPJS referral information system using Python and Tkinter for clinic operations. The development process followed the Waterfall methodology, which consisted of requirements analysis, system architecture design using Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Entity-Relationship Diagrams as well as Flowcharts followed by implementation and black-box testing validation. The system will manage patient records, referral processing as well as user administration. Automated features include generating referral letters and producing reports. Testing has proven that this system is accurate and efficient—the manual workload has reduced, data traceability has improved, and continuity in the referral service has been maintained. Results prove operational readiness for clinic deployment to enhance administrative efficiency and precision of the referral data. Currently, it runs standalone without real-time database synchronization; hence workflow integration cannot be achieved. Future versions should have direct connections with both clinic management and BPJS databases to allow seamless data exchange without manual synchronization

Abstract

RSUP Persahabatan operates as a teaching hospital supporting clinical education for medical professionals through Specialist Medical Education Programs (PPDS) and medical internships (Coass). The current registration infrastructure exhibits significant operational deficiencies, including recurring data entry errors, compromised information integrity, and dependence on manual reporting via Microsoft Excel. These limitations create administrative bottlenecks and reduce process reliability. To address these challenges, we developed a web-based student registration platform employing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. RAD facilitates accelerated development cycles through iterative prototyping and continuous stakeholder engagement. The platform incorporates automated document validation mechanisms and WhatsApp notification systems triggered upon registration approval. Implementation involved four RAD phases: planning, user design, construction, and cutover. Black-box testing and user acceptance testing validated functional integrity across all modules. Testing results demonstrated zero errors in registration workflows, document uploads, and verification processes. The platform achieved a maximum response time of 2.8 seconds per transaction while supporting concurrent user access. Results indicate measurable improvements in administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and processing speed compared to the previous manual system.

Abstract

Medical action consent forms are known to be legal documents in the delivery of healthcare services. However, when they are not well completed, it affects the quality of services and the accountability of an institution. Recurring problems in documentation processes include incomplete data entry, late submissions, and substandard recording; all these increase risks for medical errors and administrative complications. A web-based information system was developed to address these systematic deficiencies using Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. Field observations and structured interviews with healthcare personnel were used as research tools in the design of this system. The development process continued through four iterative phases: requirements planning, user-centered design, system construction, and deployment evaluation. This platform comprises automated validation protocols that prevent incomplete submissions from being accepted into the database until all required fields have been completed by the user; real-time alert mechanisms for missing data fields within a submission; and streamlined interfaces optimized for clinical workflows. Functional testing shows statistically significant improvements in documentation efficiency and completion rates among medical staff documented by the system compared to those not documented by it. The system permits real-time documentation of procedures with lower error margins compared to existing methods plus shorter processing times than existing methods. This study found that RAD-based solutions present feasible approaches toward improving accuracy and speed in medical consent documentation while simultaneously achieving legal compliance and patient safety goals within hospitals.
