Abstract

PT Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PT PKN) has implemented a Geographic Information System (GIS) to advance its Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) and strengthen Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in pursuit of sustainable development. The system facilitates interactive mapping, spatial data administration, and digital dissemination of PPM activities across education, health, economic, and environmental sectors. The research adopts a qualitative approach combined with Agile development methodology, executed through four sprints between February and May 2025. Development stages encompass user requirement identification, interface design, system construction using Laravel and Leaflet.js, and phased testing through functional and acceptance trials. Eight location points and four program categories were successfully mapped, with usability testing involving ten users yielding favorable outcomes regarding system performance and user experience. Results indicate that GIS integration decreased average information retrieval time from nine minutes (manual reports) to under three minutes while expanding public access to program data. The PPM GIS strengthens transparency, enables participatory monitoring, and supports evidence-based program planning aligned with community needs

Abstract

Inpatient medical record review is a major activity in ensuring the quality, completeness, and consistency of hospital healthcare documentation. Besides ensuring compliance with documentation standards, the review process also ensures that clinical services are accurately recorded for reference in future medical, legal, and administrative matters. This study aims to design a web-based information system that will facilitate structured, efficient, and integrated review workflows between medical record officers and other related units. The development of the system uses the Agile method which prioritizes flexibility and fast adaptation to user feedback so that improvements can be made iteratively. The prototype created can manage data input on reviews, generate summary results as well as reduce human errors usually found in manual entries. The hospital currently uses Google Spreadsheets and Google Forms which are tools with too many columns and prone to errors hence making tracking time and data inefficient. Usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) obtained an average score of 68.13 which is categorized as “acceptable” usability indicating that the system is easy to use and feasible for real implementation. This system is then a basic solution for workflow simplification, validation accuracy improvement, and increasing documentation reliability of medical records in hospital environments.

Abstract

Student aspirations play an important role as a means of two-way communication to improve the quality of academic and non-academic services in higher education. However, manual aspiration submission systems often result in delays in follow-up and a lack of documentation. This study aims to design and implement a web-based student aspiration processing information system integrated with sentiment analysis. The development method used is Waterfall, with stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The implementation was carried out using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The main features of the system include registration, login, feedback form, feedback list, admin replies, and lexicon-based sentiment analysis. Testing using Black Box Testing showed that all functions ran according to user requirements (100% success rate), with an average system response time of 2.7 seconds and a user satisfaction rate of 92%. This system is capable of classifying aspirations into positive (46%), negative (38%), and neutral (16%) categories, thereby facilitating the evaluation of campus services. This research proves that the system is capable of accelerating the handling of aspirations by up to 40% compared to manual mechanisms and supports decision-making based on sentiment data.

Abstract

Rice plays an important role in ensuring food security worldwide, especially in Southeast Asia and Indonesia. This study aims to determine the changes in paddy field area and spatial distribution of changes in 2019-2024 using Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing in Kuburaya Regency. The data used in this study include the area of paddy fields in Kubu Raya Regency in 2019-2024, an Indonesia Biomass Image, and a Topographic map. The data obtained were then processed using ArcGIS Pro software. Data analysis used a geoprocessing tool with the clip, Intersect, and Dissolve tools and Spatial Analysis using the Map Algebra Tool. The study results showed that overall changes in paddy field area from 2019-2023 were 9036,88 ha. Of the fourteen villages in the Teluk Pakedai sub-district, eight villages experienced an increase in area. The villages are Sungai Nibung, Kuala Karang, Seruat Satu, Tanjung Bunga, Teluk Pakedai Hulu, Madura, Sungai Nipah, and Teluk Pakedai Satu. Overall, the eight villages experienced an increase in the paddy field area of 578.94 ha or 21% of the total area in 2024. Two villages, namely Sungai Nibung and Kuala Karang experienced a 100% increase from 2019. The Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing provide convenience in monitoring and analyzing changes in land use, in this case, changes in the area of paddy fields. Therefore, in the future, this technology will be more effective in its use, because with this technology the data will be easy to update.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di bidang konstruksi menghasilkan suatu sistem yang dikenal dengan Building Information Modeling (BIM. Namun dalam praktiknya terdapat proyek di Indonesia yang masih menggunakan metode konvensional dalam proses perencanaan konstruksi, salah satunya pada Pembangunan Rumah Sakit X. Metode konvensional memiliki kendala seperti membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama, memiliki risiko kesalahan (human error) yang cukup tinggi pada proses perhitungan. Penggunaan BIM dapat mengelola data secara detail, mengurangi kesalahan kelalaian, mengurangi proses pengerjaan berulang dan mampu mengurangi durasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui proses implementasi dan hasil volume tulangan, bar bending schedule serta waste tulangan menggunakan metode BIM pada pembangunan Rumah Sakit X. Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari proyek konstruksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan BIM dapat mempermudah dalam pemodelan dan perhitungan volume tulangan dan bar bending schedule, karena pemodelan BIM memuat informasi detail tentang bangunan yang dapat dikeluarkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil analisis volume terhadap besi tulangan dihitung menggunakan konsep BIM didapatkan lebih kecil dibandingkan metode konvensional, pada kolom sebesar 11,43% dan pada balok 4,3 %. Selisih rata-rata waste tulangan pada kolom menggunakan BIM dan software lebih kecil 1,78 % pada kolom, dan pada balok lebih kecil 0,73% dibandingkan metode konvensional

Abstract

Selecting an appropriate method for an information retrieval system is a critical factor in achieving accurate and efficient search performance. This study aims to compare the performance of the Vector Space Model (VSM) and Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) in the context of book information retrieval, with particular emphasis on semantic capability and computational efficiency. The dataset was constructed by merging two book datasets obtained from the Kaggle platform, which were originally sourced from Amazon's book catalog. After data normalization and duplicate removal, the final dataset consisted of 133,491 book records. The analysis focused on two primary attributes: book titles and book descriptions. The evaluation was conducted through two experimental scenarios: polysemy and synonymity testing, assessed using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) across 20 documents and five search queries, and retrieval speed testing, measured by response time on Google Colab using 20 dataset size variations. The experimental results indicate that LSI outperformed VSM in three of the five search queries, achieving the best MAPE score of 33.20%, whereas VSM recorded its lowest MAPE of 36.35% but deteriorated to 72.01% for queries with high semantic ambiguity. In contrast, VSM demonstrated superior computational efficiency in the retrieval speed evaluation, with response times ranging from 0.4583 ms to 7.2597 ms, substantially faster than LSI, which required between 2.5290 ms and 27.6777 ms. Both algorithms exhibited a linear increase in response time as the dataset size increased, with coefficients of determination of R² = 0.999 for VSM and R² = 0.997 for LSI. The findings reveal a significant trade-off between semantic accuracy and computational efficiency: LSI provides superior semantic understanding for information retrieval, whereas VSM offers substantially faster retrieval performance.

Abstract

The Academic Information System (SIAKAD) is a core service that supports higher education operations and requires effective information technology (IT) governance to ensure regulatory compliance, data quality, risk management, and service continuity. This study aims to identify IT governance priorities for the STIE AMA Salatiga Academic Information System using the COBIT 2019 Design Factors before conducting a capability assessment. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing a structured COBIT 2019 assessment based on observations, interviews, and Design Factors questionnaires. The analysis evaluated the ten COBIT 2019 Design Factors to determine the importance scores of the 40 governance and management objectives. The results indicate that service stability orientation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and dependence on cloud/SaaS services collectively define eight priority objectives: MEA03, EDM03, APO12, APO14, DSS05, DSS02, APO08, and DSS04. The findings further reveal that, within a cloud/SaaS environment, IT governance priorities primarily focus on regulatory compliance, risk management, data governance, service security, external service provider management, and service continuity. The study demonstrates that the COBIT 2019 Design Factors provide an effective mechanism for identifying relevant governance and management objectives prior to capability assessment, thereby establishing a structured basis for prioritizing IT governance evaluation and improvement in accordance with organizational characteristics.

Abstract

The continuous growth of Indonesian population has directly led to an increased demand for infrastructure and public facilities, particularly in the construction sector. This development necessitates the adoption of effective and efficient construction technologies, one of which is Building Information Modeling (BIM). Within the BIM framework, the 3D modeling software Revit 2021 can be utilized to assess and analyze the accuracy of structural volume calculations compared to manual estimations made during the initial planning stage (Bill of Quantities/BOQ). Following the modeling process, the material quantity take-off results generated using Revit 2021 revealed a total concrete volume of 606.96 m, a total plain reinforcing steel weight of 48,004.41 kg, and a total deformed reinforcing steel weight of 57,749.20 kg. These findings indicate that the manually prepared BOQ showed a greater discrepancy compared to actual field implementation data (MC-100), with a percentage difference of +4.27% for concrete volume, -1.84% for plain steel volume, and +16.54% for deformed steel volume. In contrast, the calculations performed using Revit 2021 demonstrated a higher degree of accuracy. They were more closely aligned with field implementation results (MC-100), showing only +0.75% for concrete, +1.24% for plain steel, and -0.84% for deformed steel. Therefore, the use of Revit software can be considered a valuable tool in building modeling processes, offering more accurate volume calculations that better reflect real-world conditions.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted at Griya Kerupuk MSME located in Walini Street, Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency, involving 7 participants consisting of 1 business owner and 6 employees. Griya Kerupuk MSME has promising potential for business development; however, several challenges remain, particularly related to product identity, packaging design, and business management practices that are still relatively simple. This program aimed to improve the partner’s understanding of product branding and more structured business management. The methods employed included observation, interviews, mentoring activities, training sessions, discussions, and questionnaire-based evaluations involving 50 respondents. The mentoring activities focused on logo development, packaging design improvement, and training on simple business record-keeping. The results showed an improvement in the partner’s understanding of the importance of product identity and packaging design in increasing product attractiveness and market value. Evaluation results indicated that 70% of respondents agreed that the new logo was easier to recognize, 72% stated that the packaging information was clearer, 74% agreed that the new packaging increased product value, and 72% stated that simple financial record-keeping helped improve business management. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in strengthening MSME competitiveness through improved product branding and more structured business management.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi matematika siswa masih menjadi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMA. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan pemanfaatan informasi sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan modul ajar inovatif yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran inquiry dan literasi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul ajar kelas X SMA Kyai Ageng Basyariah Madiun yang dirancang menggunakan model Inquiry Learning Based on Information Literacy (ILBIL) dan disesuaikan dengan karakteristik pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4-D. Namun, ruang lingkup penelitian dibatasi hanya pada tahap define, design, dan develop, tanpa melibatkan tahap disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tingkat validitas modul ajar berbasis ILBIL mencapai 82,4% sehingga dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan; (2) hasil uji coba memperlihatkan respon positif dari guru dengan skor 86,9% dan dari siswa dengan skor 83,08%; serta (3) nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,3956 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil ini, penggunaan modul ajar dengan model ILBIL terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Barisan dan Deret. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi model ILBIL ke dalam modul ajar berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka yang belum banyak diterapkan pada konteks pembelajaran matematika SMA, khususnya materi Barisan dan Deret. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi praktis berupa modul ajar yang tervalidasi, mudah diimplementasikan, serta efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi matematika siswa. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa penggabungan inquiry learning dengan literasi informasi merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang relevan untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran matematika pada era Kurikulum Merdeka.
