Abstract

In the current digital era, quantitative data analysis remains a critical yet demanding stage of the research process, particularly for researchers without a strong statistical background. Complex analysis procedures, inconsistent method selection, and manual data handling increase the risk of human error and can threaten the validity of research findings. This study addresses this problem by designing and developing the CQR (Calculation of Quantitative Research) Application, a web-based predictive quantitative-analytics system intended to simplify statistical data processing for researchers regardless of their statistical expertise. The system was developed using the Research and Development (RD) method combined with the Waterfall model, comprising problem identification, data collection, system design, implementation, and testing, and was built using the Laravel 11 framework with a MySQL database. System design was guided by an analysis of functional and non-functional requirements and modelled using Use Case and Activity Diagrams. The developed system was evaluated through black-box testing across four core modules-user authentication and three data-upload calculator modules for the System Usability Scale (SUS). All eleven scenarios (100%) produced the expected output. A preliminary usability evaluation of the CQR Application itself, using the System Usability Scale with 32 student respondents, yielded a mean score of 76.09 (SD = 9.67), corresponding to an “Acceptable” rating and a curved grade of B. These findings indicate that the CQR Application is functionally reliable and perceived as usable, while quantitative benchmarking of analytical accuracy and processing time against established statistical software, together with a complementary User Experience Questionnaire evaluation, are identified as the immediate next steps for strengthening the system's scientific and practical contribution. The CQR Application is expected to help researchers, particularly those without extensive statistical training, conduct quantitative analysis that is more consistent, efficient, and credible.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the management of zakat, infaq, and shadaqah (ZIS) has become an essential requirement to improve transparency, accountability, and service efficiency in social and religious fund management institutions. At the Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah Collection Unit (UPZIS) of PNL, the management of donor and beneficiary data was previously conducted manually, leading to recording errors, reporting delays, and difficulties in monitoring fund distribution. This study aims to implement and evaluate a web-based ZIS fund management information system to support a more effective and integrated data management process. The research employed the Prototype method, which includes requirements analysis, system design, prototype development, testing, and system evaluation stages. The developed system provides features for managing donor data, beneficiary data, fund receipt and distribution transactions, as well as digital and real-time reporting. System evaluation was conducted through functionality testing and user testing to assess the usability and effectiveness of the system. The results indicate that the system improves data management efficiency, accelerates reporting processes, and enhances transparency in ZIS fund distribution within the campus environment.

Abstract

This research paper investigates the relationship between apparatus competency, the regional financial accounting system, the regional government information system, and financial statement quality. In the present research, a quantitative technique and purposive sampling are used. The data gathered via questionnaires were analyzed using IBM SPSS 27. The outcome demonstrates that the regional government information system has no effect on the quality of financial statements. On the other hand, the regional financial accounting system and apparatus competency have a substantial impact on the financial statement quality. The conclusions imply that the presence of an information system, the ability of the apparatus to manage regional finances, and the execution of a sound accounting system all affect the financial statement quality. Therefore, in order to produce financial statements that are more transparent, accountable, and of higher quality, local governments must improve the quality of regional government information system implementation, strengthen the practice of regional financial accounting systems, and continuously improve the skills of officials.

Abstract

Background: Current digital Bible applications predominantly utilize "pull-based" interactions, which fail to synchronize content delivery with the user’s immediate physical environment or situational context. Objective: The purpose of this research is to develop and evaluate a "push-based" framework that leverages tiered geospatial sensing to deliver contextually relevant scriptural content automatically without human intervention. Methods: Adopting an engineering-focused system design, the study integrated an OS-level Geofencing API with a custom 180-second dwell-time algorithm to filter transient noise, including high-speed movement (e.g., driving) and GPS jitter. The architecture was validated through twenty simulated field trials across diverse urban and suburban environments, specifically measuring trigger accuracy and battery efficiency. Results: The system achieved an 83.3% success rate for intended events, with the dwell-time filter successfully suppressing erroneous triggers during transient movement. Technical logs demonstrated a 67% reduction in battery consumption compared to continuous GPS polling. However, signal attenuation was identified as a significant limiting factor in high-density medical facilities and "urban canyon" environments. Conclusion: The results indicate that a tiered sensing model provides a reliable, energy-efficient solution for context-aware content delivery. By documenting the relationship between architectural density and signal deviation, this study establishes a technical blueprint for the intersection of geospatial informatics and digital theology. Future research should focus on refining multi-path mitigation techniques to improve reliability in dense structural environments.

Abstract

Academic libraries remain important learning and information environments, yet the attractiveness of a library depends partly on whether its facilities match users' academic and non-academic information needs. This study examines the effect of library facilities on students' intention to visit the library at the Indonesian Aviation Academy Banyuwangi. A quantitative descriptive design was applied to the entire population of 98 students using census sampling. Data were collected through a four-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed with validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, and a partial t-test using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The instruments were reliable, with Cronbach's alpha values of 0.951 for library facilities and 0.957 for visit intention. The regression equation was Y = 9.549 + 0.523X. Library facilities had a positive and statistically significant effect on visit intention (t = 5.883; p < .001). The findings indicate that comfortable learning spaces, relevant collections, supporting infrastructure, and accessible services can strengthen students' willingness to use the library for academic and non-academic information seeking. The academy should therefore prioritize sustained improvement of facilities and collections while maintaining user-oriented services.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the role of BI’s PR office in Cirebon in distributing information related to exchanging new banknotes during Ramadan, the strategy and media used, and the obstacles faced in the information dissemination process. Data were collected using the methods of interview, observation, and document review based on qualitative analysis. Results obtained from research showed that BI's Cirebon PR office had played their roles in providing information dissemination and educating the general community about the provision of currency exchange service via the PINTAR application by applying diverse forms of communication media, including digital and non-digital one where Instagram becomes the main channel used in disseminating information. However, there are some factors affecting the effectiveness of the information distribution process which includes disparities in digital literacies level, access to information media, and technical issues (data quota limit and service queues). In addition, the demands of the people to conduct currency exchange during Ramadan season also contribute to the utilization rate of this service being very high. Therefore, it can conclude that the role of BI's PR office in Cirebon city in spreading information regarding new currency exchange has been effective, yet there remain opportunities for improvement especially in terms of guaranteeing an equitable distribution of information, improving effectiveness of communication strategies, and innovation of media utilization in conducting information dissemination and outreach activities.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of manual recording which is at risk of data loss and misuse. This research aims to develop a web-based information system that facilitates the management of prisoner data, detainees, and evidence at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Jambi Province. By applying the Research and Development (R&D) method and the Waterfall approach. The features implemented include input of prisoner data, prisoner data management, and recording of evidence. The test results show that the system works well and makes it easier for officers to record and manage data. The system also provides output in the form of reports which will later make it easier for officers to report starting from prisoner data, detainee data and confiscated evidence data. The system is built into a website-based application. It is hoped that this system will not only replace manual methods, but also make a real contribution in supporting BNN's task in eradicating narcotics abuse. The research findings can be a reference for the development of information systems in other agencies with similar needs. Abstract

This study examines the influence of System Quality, Service Quality, and Information Quality on the usage and user satisfaction regarding the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at U iversitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), utilizing the DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model (2003) as a conceptual framework. Although SIAKAD supports critical academic activities, it has encountered operational issues, including system disruptions and access-related complaints during course registration periods. This quantitative study employed a survey method involving 185 students from the Digital Business program (cohorts 2022–2024). Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that all seven proposed hypotheses were supported: system quality, service quality, and information quality each exert a positive and significant influence on usage and user satisfaction, while usage has a positive and significant influence on user satisfaction. Information Quality emerged as the strongest predictor of Usage, whereas Usage was the strongest predictor of User Satisfaction. These findings confirm the relevance of the DeLone and McLean model in the context of an academic information system with mandatory usage, and provide empirical insights for improving the quality of SIAKAD services at Universitas Negeri Jakarta.

Abstract

Kampung Kemasan is a cultural heritage village located in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia, renowned for its historical atmosphere and distinctive architectural heritage that reflects multicultural influences of Dutch, Chinese, and Javanese traditions. Despite its tourism potential, Kampung Kemasan has limited digital promotion and online accessibility, making it less visible to potential visitors. This study aimed to develop a bilingual website as a centralized information center and promotional medium for Kampung Kemasan using Design and Development Research (DDR) adopted from Richey and Klein (2005) along with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data were collected through field observations, interviews with local stakeholders (Pokdarwis and Head Chief), and questionnaires from 114 respondents. The website was successfully deployed using a custom domain (https://www.kampung-kemasan.web.id/) in both Indonesian and English. Evaluations by language, IT/website, and content experts demonstrated high validity scores (96%, 92%, and 100% respectively), and field-testing results showed an overall success rate of 87.32% for local users and 91.71% for international users. The findings confirm that the web-based information center effectively enhances digital destination branding and information accessibility.

Abstract

Population administration at the Tanah Merah Village Office, Pasir Penyu District, previously relied on conventional records that created duplicate data, inconsistent information, slow retrieval, and delayed report preparation. This study designed and implemented a web-based population data processing information system using observation, interviews, literature review, and the waterfall development model. Requirements were translated into use-case, activity, and class diagrams and a MySQL database. The implemented PHP-based system provides administrator authentication, user management, population and destination records, move-out requests, online birth-certificate registration, death-certificate registration, monitoring, document-completeness checks, and service outputs. Black-box testing covered seven navigation and data-management scenarios. All seven scenarios produced the expected results, yielding a 100% pass rate within the documented test scope. The system centralizes village records, reduces dependence on physical archives, and supports faster retrieval and reporting. Further work should evaluate usability, security, data validation, interoperability with higher-level civil-registration services, and operational performance after deployment.
