Abstract

Based on data from the Village Community Empowerment Service East Java, Indonesia the districts/cities that still have underdeveloped villages include Lamongan Regency, which is recorded at most, namely 42 villages. From the semi-systematic literature review, three papers were selected as references in an example of a development model for an area. The author's recommendation as a role model for the management of underdeveloped areas is a combination of: community-based tourism approaches, website-based fundraising called "vitamin sea", and community entrepreneurial activities which the author calls the Techno-Sociopreneurship Tourism Industry. The author argues that by using the concept of an inclusive Techno-Sociopreneurship Tourism Industry; The area of the coastal tourism industry in Indonesia (especially Lamongan) is expected to transform into a new global economic order that has current economic independence. The authors also offer direction for future research in the area on the performance of the tourism industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to advance research on career construction theory and cognitive-affective processing systems theory by examining the theorized but untested relationship between emotional intelligence, career adaptability and career satisfaction. More precisely, exploring the relationship between emotional intelligence, career adaptability, and career satisfaction. This research was conducted on frontline employees who interact directly with customers. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach, with the help of SmartPLS, was carried out in this quantitative study. The results found in this study are emotional intelligence which directly influences career adaptability and career satisfaction. Meanwhile, the effect of career adaptability on career satisfaction was not found. In addition, this study also found that the career adaptability variable had no effect in mediating the relationship between emotional intelligence and career satisfaction. Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the role of brand awareness in mediating the effect of social media music exposure on listening intention by positioning the band Coldplay as a human brand based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model. Employing a quantitative approach, data from 215 active social media users who are university students in Surabaya were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The research results confirmed all hypotheses: (1) social media music exposure has a positive and significant effect on listening intention; (2) social media music exposure has a positive and significant effect on brand awareness; (3) brand awareness has a positive and significant effect on listening intention; and (4) brand awareness successfully mediates the effect of social media music exposure on listening intention. These findings assert that background audio exposure in social media content serves as a crucial cognitive bridge, indicating that music marketing strategies need to optimize these platforms to transform passive users into active listeners.

Abstract

Given the growing importance of digital competence in education, this paper provides a comparative analysis of DigCompEdu-based digital competence education practices in higher education in Indonesia and China. This study uses a systematic literature review combined with policy document analysis to establish how both countries implement digital competence frameworks for educators. Data sources include indexed journal articles and official documents meeting specific criteria related to higher education, lecturers, and DigCompEdu frameworks. The results show that in Indonesia, DigCompEdu is more widely adopted at research and study program levels, particularly in teacher training institutions, while in China, it functions primarily as a normative framework at policy levels. In both countries, relatively strong competency areas include digital resources usage, communication, collaboration, and security, whereas digital assessment, reflective practice, and learner empowerment remain weak. This study recommends developing standardized instruments and explicitly integrating DigCompEdu areas into higher education curricula.

Abstract

The freemium model has positioned in-app purchases as a primary monetization mechanism in digital games, including Roblox as a user-generated gaming platform. This study examines the effects of game addiction and perceived value on in-app purchase intention among Roblox players in Indonesia. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected through a cross-sectional survey of Roblox players in Indonesia and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that both game addiction and perceived value have positive and significant effects on in-app purchase intention. However, perceived value exerts a stronger influence than game addiction, indicating that players’ purchasing decisions are more strongly driven by evaluations of enjoyment, social recognition, functional performance, and price fairness rather than addictive engagement alone. These findings contribute to the understanding of digital consumer behavior in user-generated gaming environments and provide insights for value-oriented monetization strategies.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Digital Leadership, Digital Literacy, and Digital Competency on Innovative W This study examines the influence of Digital Leadership, Digital Literacy, and Digital Competency on Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) among Web3 remote workers in Surabaya City. The research is grounded in the transformation of remote work within the Web3 ecosystem, which presents innovation challenges due to limited spontaneous social interaction. This study addresses both a contextual gap, focusing on the underexplored population of Web3 workers, and a methodological gap by integrating three key digital factors into a single analytical framework. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling, involving 70 Web3 remote workers in Surabaya. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results show that Digital Leadership (β = 0.330), Digital Literacy (β = 0.322), and Digital Competency (β = 0.301) have a positive and significant effect on Innovative Work Behavior (p < 0.05). Simultaneously, the variables significantly influence IWB (F = 45.646), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.675, indicating that 67.5% of the variation in IWB is explained by the model. These findings confirm that the integration of digital leadership, strong digital literacy, and well-developed digital competency plays a critical role in enhancing innovative work behavior in Web3 remote work environments. The study contributes to the development of Upper Echelons Theory in the context of decentralized digital work and provides practical insights for organizations in designing effective digital talent strategies.
