Abstract

Colitis is an inflammatory characterized by thickening of the mucosal wall of the colon. The Colon In Loop examination is one of the diagnostic procedures for colitis, utilizing contrast media to assess the functional condition of the colon. At the Radiology Installation of RSUD (Regional General Hospital) Banyumas, the radiological procedure for Colon In Loop was performed on post-colostomy patients, thus differs from previous studies. This study aims to identify the examination procedure of Colon In Loop at RSUD Banyumas, the rationale for using Anteroposterior (AP) and Lateral projections, and the reason for not performing evacuation before the administration of negative contrast media. This qualitative descriptive study employed a case. The subjects included three radiographers, one radiology nurse, and one radiology specialist. The object of study was the Colon In Loop Post Colostomy examination procedure in colitis cases. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis involved data reduction and data presentation. confirmed with theory, and narrative presentation leading to conclusions. Result shows contrast media consisting of 250 grams of barium sulfate dissolved in 1000 ml of water (25% w/v). The examination is performed in stages followed by AP and Lateral projection imaging to evaluate contrast distribution in the colon. Negative contrast media administration is performed without prior evacuation to enhance patient comfort and reduce examination time. When administering negative contrast media, evacuation is not performed before air is introduced. This is done based on the patient's condition, to shorten the examination time, and due to considerations regarding the quality of barium sulfate; thus, evacuation could impair barium adherence to the colon mucosa. In conclusion, AP and lateral projections are considered adequate for establishing a diagnosis of colitis. The omission of evacuation is based on patient condition, time efficiency, and the suboptimal quality of barium. It is recommended to perform evacuation and increase barium concentration to improve adherence to the colon mucosal wall.

Abstract

Keselamatan pasien merupakan masalah global yang sangat penting saat ini, terutama meningkatnya laporan klaim terkait kesalahan medis yang dialami. Pemeriksaan CT Scan memanfaatkan radiasi sebagai sumber pembentukan citra. Enam sasaran keselamatan pasien harus di terapkan selama pemeriksaan berlangsung. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana penerapan keselamatan pasien oleh radiografer selamapemeriksaan radiologi CT Scan. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan pengisian kuisoner. Kegiatan peneilitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit bagian Instalasi radiologi khususnya pada area CT Scan di tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. yang diperoleh mengenai penerapan 6 sasaran keselamatan pasien (6 SKP) pada pemeriksaan radiologi dengan modalitas CT Scan di instalasi radiologi Pengisian kuisoner oleh pasien CT Scan Kontras diperoleh hasil untuk kategori rendah mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 65%. Untuk Tingkat Penerapan Kontras CT Scan Patient Safety kategori sedang nilai persentasenya sebesar 20,3% dan untuk Tingkat Penerapan Kontras CT Scan Patient Safety kategori tinggi sebesar 14,7%. Dapat disimpulkan penerapan CT Scan Kontras Keselamatan Pasien di Instalasi Radiologi berada pada kategori rendah.

Abstract

Osteomielitis merupakan infeksi tulang yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan struktur tulang dan gangguan fungsi ekstremitas, sehingga memerlukan diagnosis yang cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi temuan radiologis foto polos Pedis dextra pada pasien Osteomielitis di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilakukan di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Siloam Sriwijaya Palembang pada periode Januari 2024 sampai Desember 2025. Sampel penelitian menggunakan total sampling sebanyak tiga pasien yang didiagnosis Osteomielitis. Data diperoleh melalui studi dokumentasi hasil radiografi dengan proyeksi anteroposterior (AP), oblique, dan lateral menggunakan Computed Radiography (CR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya gambaran osteolisis, reaksi periosteal, destruksi korteks tulang, sklerosis, dan pembengkakan jaringan lunak. Foto polos terbukti efektif dalam mendukung diagnosis Osteomielitis meskipun memiliki keterbatasan sensitivitas pada fase awal penyakit. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas citra sangat dipengaruhi oleh teknik pemeriksaan dan ketepatan posisi pasien. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa foto polos Pedis dextra dapat digunakan sebagai modalitas awal yang efektif dalam mengevaluasi karakteristik radiologis Osteomielitis.

Abstract

Background: Investment is basically an effort of investing resources (capital) in business. The radiology unit in Rajawali Citra Hospital is cooperatively performed by the third party or an investment from the third party. The investment of the radiology tools has been performed for more than 5 years, yet a reliability study from the investment has been conducted. This study aimed at assessing the reliability of developing the investment of radiology tools in Rajawali Citra Hospital over 5 years Method: This study is a study with descriptive analysis method in quantitative and qualitative approach without using hypothesis. The subject of the study is parts of finance, radiology unit and medical support and financial balance of radiology in 2007 – 2011. The technique of data collection was interview and documentation of financial balance of the radiology unit. The data analysis was done descriptively by applying quantitative and qualitative analysis approach. Result: The result of the study from the financial aspect indicated that payback period (3 years) 327 was quicker than the economical value of the tools (5 years), NPV = Rp 5,252,878.3 investment was accepted because it resulted positive value, ARR = 150% investment was accepted because it provided more advantage than which has specified 100%, IRR = 15,2% investment was accepted because the result was more than the interest (10%), PI = 1,10 the investment was accepted because the result was more than 1. Conclusion: From the whole aspect in the reliability assessment of the investment such as market aspect, technology, law, management and financial resulted in positive value to the investment development of the radiology tools. Abstract

Background: To provide a quality service to the customer (patient) needs to be a measure of the quality of existing services, covering five dimensions, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles  in order to create a patient satisfaction. To determine the level of quality, can be measured from the expectations and perceptions of customers (patients). Method: Using the Service Quality (Servqual) method integrated in the Fuzzy. Fuzzy Servqual method  is the instrument to measure the service quality between costumer’s (as patient) expectation and costumer’s (as patient) perception. Fuzzy set theory to accomode subjectivity and ambiguity on quality service judgement. Conclusion: Using the method acquired Fuzzy Sevqual five attributes / criteria that are a priority for improved quality of services because it has a value of Servqual (Gap) weighted the most. Attributes that are Facilities provided incomplete and inadequate with a value of -1.417 servqual, for the second order The equipment used not using the latest technology (advanced) of -1.313, which is third on The officer has not been attentive to treat patients  with a value of -1.250 servqual, for the fourth and final fifth Handling of complaints and Non-radiology is not convenient  of -1.146. Where three of the above criteria is of dimension Tangibles, so the main priority to be repaired and improved quality of care is of the dimension Tangibles with a total score of -1.161.The quality of service in the Installation of Radiology of the overall gap calculation results show a negative gap value is -0.961, meaning what is expected according to what the customer has not obtained the customer at the Hospital Radiology Installation Panembahan Senopati Bantul.   Keywords: Installing Panembahan Senopati Bantul District Hospital Radiology, Fuzzy, Servqual Gap, Fuzzy-Servqual, Quality service.

Abstract

Abstract: The existence of RIS is necessary for Imaging System or commonly called Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). RIS give feedback information to PACS about patient information and inspection, as well as to be able to track the entire life cycle assessment of the patient, from the initial booking to the end result. PACS and RIS have different tasks and complete each other, whereby RIS handles the functions of text-based computing, including transcription, reporting, ordering, scheduling, tracking, and billing (Huang, 2004).There is RIS workflow processes that can support the performance of the Unit of Radiology. In the Radiology Unit there are several problems, such as: (1) the need for integration between RIS and PACS, which radiographers do not need to input the data on patients who will perform imaging and (2) The need of role screening to ensure that the patient is in the waiting list has come and is ready to conduct the examination. Radiology Information System can be integrated with PACS and DICOM modality that uses a standard 3.0. This is supported by several considerations, such as: (1) an intermediary HL7 can be integrated with the Hospital Information System (HIS), (2) MWL module can be integrated with MPPs Service modality, (3) intermediate HL7 can be integrated with PACS, and (4) Radiology Information system can be implemented and support the performance of the Unit of Radiology.The existence of RIS is necessary for Imaging System or commonly called Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Abstract

ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan pengukuran dosis radiasi di Ruangan Radiologi II Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut (RSGM) Baiturrahmah Padang menggunakan Surveymeter Unfors-Xi.  Pengukuran dosis radiasi dilakukan pada 10 titik pengukuran yang di tempatkan di dalam ruangan maupun di sekitar ruangan.  Pengukuran dosis radiasi dilakukan saat penyinaran panoramik dan intraoral.  Hasil pengukuran dosis radiasi digunakan untuk menentukan efektivitas perisai radiasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interval dosis radiasi pada penyinaran panoramik sebesar 0,37 – 55,69 nGy dan pada penyinaran intraoral sebesar 0,074 – 43,76 nGy.  Perisai radiasi Ruangan Radiologi II termasuk perisai yang baik, mampu mengurangi radiasi sebesar 99,33% saat penyinaran panoramik dan 99,83% saat penyinaran intraoral.Kata kunci : dosis radiasi, Surveymeter Unfors-Xi, efektivitas perisai radiasi ABSTRACTResearch on measurement of radiation dose in Radiology Room II in the Dental Hospital of  Baiturrahmah Padang using Surveymeter Unfors-Xi has been done.  Measurement of radiation dose was conducted at 10 measurement points either in the room or around the room. Measurement of dose radiation was applied at panoramic and intraoral irradiation. The result of dose radiation measurement was used to determine shielding effectiveness of radiation. The result showed that dose interval of panoramic irradiation is 0.37-55.69 nGy and the dose interval of intraoral irradiation is 0.074-43.76 nGy. The radiation shield of Radiology Room II has a good radiation shield, which is able to diminish 99,33% and 99,83% of radiation on panoramic and intraoral irradiation, respectively.Keywords : radiation dose, Surveymeter Unfors-Xi, shielding effectiveness of radiation

Abstract

Background : Examination of Thorax CT Scan in RSUD Dr.Moewardi is always conducted using bolus triggering technique, where delay of bolus triggering activation done to vary value between 5 - 10 second after contrast media administration using automatic injector with the reason to lessen radiation dose. Purpose of this research is to know influence of  bolus triggering activation delay to radiation dose as well as  to find out  maximal delay value of  bolus triggering activation delay which can be conducted at CT Scan Thorax examination.Methods : This research is experimental method. Data were collected from the observations and the direct examinations on the monitor screen using the CTDIvol dose calculation software. This research is carried out by recording the changes radiation dose value on CTDIvol by changing the value of  bolus triggering activation delay from 0, 2, 4,  6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 second. Data were analyzed using regression test.Results : The result shows that correlation between bolus triggering activation delay towards radiation dose with r = 0,970,  p value 0,001 and R2 = 0,940. The meaning 94% radiation dose influenced by bolus triggering activation. Delay with regresi equation, Y  = 308,252 - 18,821 DT, showing each every increase of delay bolus triggering activation delay equal to 1 second  will influence to descend dose radiasi equal to 18,821 mGy.Conclusion : Maximum delay to activated bolus triggering is 17 second.
