Abstract

Tobacco plants are plantation products but not food crops, their leaves are usually used as the main ingredient in the making of cigarettes and cigars. Tobacco cultivation has been known for a long time in Indonesia, the cultivation of tobacco from generation to generation has resulted in the emergence of many new varieties in various regions in Indonesia. The number of tobacco varieties can be grouped by cultivation and type. The large number of tobacco varieties makes it difficult for farmers to distinguish the types of tobacco plants because the morphology and biology between tobacco plants are almost similar, so to make it easier to determine the type of tobacco plants, a system with a classification method is needed. One of the classification methods is the Naive Bayes algorithm. In this study, 11 classes were used and 19 features were used. In addition to classification, the feature selection method is also used to get a good combination of features and accuracy values, Information Gain used as the feature selection method. In the evaluation, the K-fold cross validation method is used to eliminate doubts on the data with k = 10. The result of all the tests carried out, the highest average accuracy for all balanced class tests was 52.72% using 17 features. Meanwhile, the highest accuracy of all unbalanced class tests is 64.06% when using 15 features.

Abstract

The existence of the MRT Jakarta is expected to reduce the number of private transportation uses, which causes the congestion rate in the Jakarta area to continue to increase. Reviews from MRT Jakarta users help MRT Jakarta in improving its services, because good service quality can attract people to use MRT as public transportation for traveling. However, at this time, MRT Jakarta's official social media accounts had not yet found a feature to sort reviews between positive and negative reviews. If this is done manually it will take time, therefore it is necessary to carry out an automation process in the selection of these reviews. This automation process is known as sentiment analysis. In this study, the sentiment analysis system uses a combination of the Neighbor-Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor (NWKNN) classification method with the Information Gain feature selection. Tests conducted in this study using 5-Fold Cross Validation. The test results reach the optimal point at the 5th Fold, when the k value = 100, the exponent value = 2, and the threshold value for feature selection = 100% (without feature selection and without using stopword removal), with values of precision, recall, f- measure, and accuracy is 1; 0.94; 0.97; and 0.97.

Abstract

Mobile JKN is an e-government application that is used by the government as an innovative use of information and communication technology in government administration. Mobile JKN is an application as part of BPJS Kesehatan's commitment in providing services and easy access for BPJS Kesehatan users. Indonesians can try using the Mobile JKN application and review it on application providers such as the Google Play Store and the App Store. Reviews as a way of expressing opinions, offer data sources in the form of user sentiments regarding the features and services available on the Mobile JKN application. Sentiment analysis research is conducted to analyze the sentiments contained in user reviews by classifying reviews as positive or negative. In this research, Maximum Entropy is used as a classification method with Mutual Information as a feature selection to reduce the number of features used in the classification of user reviews of the Mobile JKN application. In testing, better evaluation results are shown by the use of the Mutual Information feature selection in the classification using Maximum Entropy with an accuracy value obtained of 82.5% compared to without the use of feature selection which results in an accuracy of 79.5%.

Abstract

Books that have important role for making the next generation of nation intelligent, creative, and critical. Special reading books on Islamic religion have various categories, for example categories of creed, morals, sirah, and so forth. Books about Islam and various categories that exist makes it difficult for people to find the desired book according to the category of books that you want to read. Thus this study seeks to classify Islamic religious book categories into 7 categories using the Naive Bayes Multinomial and feature selection Information Gain. The classification process starts from the preprocessing text, features selection by the Information Gain method, and classification using the method Multinomial Naive Bayes. Testing is acuration, precision, and recall with 2 scenarios, namely through the process of stemming and not through the process stemming also analysis the influence of threshold Information Gain. Displaying scenarios through stemming with a 50% feature selection has the best accuracy, precision, and recall results of 69%, 74%, and 69% by order. Based on testing algorithms can classify the categories of Islamic religious science books using the Naive Bayes Multinomial method and feature selection Information Gain

Abstract

Current transportation development system has giving easiness for society to moving from place to another places. One of quite new public transportation is Light Rail Transit (LRT). LRT or light railroad have an opportunity to held public trial access for free just by registering yourself in LRT Jakarta website. For improving and maximize LRT Jakarta services, they have social media account where people may give feedback and assessment. One of way that could be done is by sentiment analysis to find out whether the society likes the services provided by LRT Jakarta. This study is using the Improved KNN as a classification method to determine people sentiment coupled with Information Gain to select features used during the classification process. The process of sentiment analysis includes data collection, text preprocessing that produces clean data, then weighting the terms with tf idf followed by feature selection using Information Gain. The next step is classification with Improved KNN using the features of the previous selection. The data used are primary data sourced from three social media namely Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. The results of this study are the best f-measure obtained when k = 11 using a 100% threshold or the whole term used that is equal to 85.51% with an average computational time calculated from 5-fold of 0.4647 minutes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of tax justice, taxation systems, information technology, and discrimination against taxpayers' assessment of tax evasion. The population is limited to WP registered at KPP Pratama Kebumen. The sampling method uses the convenience sampling method and the minimum number of samples taken is 100 respondents based on the Slovin calculation. The data source comes from primary and secondary data. Retrieval of data derived from questionnaires is then processed with multiple linear regression assisted with SPSS version 25. The results state that (1) tax justice has a negative effect on WP's perception of tax evasion, (2) the taxation system has a negative influence with WP's perception of embezzlement tax, (3) technology and information have a negative effect on WP's perception of tax evasion, and (4) discrimination has a positive effect on WP's perception of tax evasion.

Abstract

The dissemination of hoax information, especially about health, is spread quickly and massively through WhatsApp Group. The use of WhatsApp Group makes it easy to share and distribute information. This study raised Hoax Buster’s phenomenon, which is someone who checks the facts at WhatsApp Group. This study explored the answers to the following questions: how WhatsApp Group members act as Hoax Buster, reasons for being a Hoax Buster, and how Hoax Buster develops communication patterns. This research used a qualitative method with case studies where data was obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with several sources. The results of the study were: 1) The existence of Hoax Buster is due to the circulation of Hoax in WhatsApp Group, 2) The role of Hoax Buster arises because of concerns about health Hoaxes in WhatsApp Group and encourages WhatsApp Group members not easily to believe unclear information, 3) Hoax busters communicate through several stages

Abstract

Public participation in policymaking remains a significant challenge in Indonesia. Previous studies found that public participation in the policymaking process is still dominated by the elite (i.e. policymakers). This paper argues that a lack of well-informed public causes diminishing public involvement in policymaking. This study aims to fill the gap in public participation study in Indonesia, particularly the impact of public information on public participation. This study measures to what extent public information awareness and public information service may form public participation behaviour. As quantitative research, this study uses a survey as the primary method to collect data. The questionnaire was constructed through concepts and legal documents related to public information disclosure and public information services. The multi-stage proportional random sampling is applied with the number of samples in this study is 1,584 in 25 provinces (out of 34 provinces). The results show that public information awareness significantly impacts public participation, while public information service satisfaction does not affect public participation.

Abstract

This research tries to explain how the strategy and diplomacy conducted by Indonesia in resolving the Flight Information Region dispute in the Riau Island Province from Singapore. control of the flight information region which has been controlled by Singapore for a long time, which could harm National interests for a sovereign state of course air space is very important to protect the security and sovereignty of a country, so it is feared that it could disturb stability in the region and impact interests of Indonesia. This research uses the perspective of Neorealism, Neoralism moraemphasis on cooperation and the role of institution -  both government and non-government institutions in international relations. To bridge the problem with the hypothesis This research uses uses foreign policy theory, the level of nation-state analysis and the concept of national security. This research shows that Singapore control Indonesia sky was established at the ICAO convention in Dublin, Ireland, from March 1946 to the present. Indonesia has tried several solutions against Singapore and involved international organizations such as ICAO, but this has not been effective. The influence of Singapore FIR in Indonesia sovereignty and security can be seen from Indonesia airspace in The Riau Island which is a strategic airspace and is located in the Malacca Strait route. Therefore, Indonesia insists on trying to resolve this dispute so that it does not drag on and has a bad impact on the region and Indonesia own interests, this can be seen in the diplomacy carried out by Indonesia and producing a Framework for Negotiation of FIR Realignment, which was signed on 12 September 2019. Keyword : FIR, Dispute, Sovereignty, Security

Abstract

The thesis data management process at STIMIK Sepuluh Nopember Jayapura currently still uses Microsoft Excel, so the processing takes a lot of time, another obstacle that arises is the title submission process, where students have to come to campus to submit titles then announcements still use the announcement board so that students who want to get the information must go to the STIMIK Sepuluh Nopember campus. The purpose of making the system is to solve the above problems and at the same time make it easier for students in the process of submitting titles. The design of this system uses the waterfall method, while the data collection method uses several methods such as observation, interviews and literature study. For web development using the PHP programming language. The final result of this design is a web that can be used by students to submit titles, see a list of thesis titles that have been taken and so on. While the output from the web that is made is a list of student thesis titles STIMIK Sepuluh Nopember Jayapura and announcements such as approval of titles submitted, supervisors, examiners and payment issues.
