Abstract

Maturity level assessment is considered very important in the information technology sector, one of which is in the field of education. It includes not only academic activities in the classroom, but also non-academic activities such as organization and committee. During pandemic condition, all activities on campus are required to be completely online, including the orientation period for new students as an annual routine. XYZ University is one of the educational institutions that also implements an online orientation period. Not only meeting with the video conference application as a media, which are members of the committee also create a web-based application where the application contains all information related to orientation period activities, including materials, values, and information about the campus activities which must be shared digital in this situation. The application previously described must be calculated for its maturity level to find out whether it has provided maximum benefits or vice versa for the university as the party that should provide funds and looking for parties from outside the university. To answer this problem, it is necessary to measure IT performance using VAL IT 2.0 which can provide a conclusion of the benefits.

Abstract

Maternal mortality rates are still high in several areas, including Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Based on the data obtained from the Bantul District Health Office, from 2018 to 2019, 28 pregnant women died. Posyandu and Puskesmas cadres often encounter problems in collecting data on pregnant women because they still use manual methods. Manual records using books has disadvantages because sometimes pregnant women forget to bring their books. Therefore, an application for recording pregnancy history is needed to enable convenient monitoring by Posyandu cadres, Puskesmas, doctors, and hospitals in order that pregnant women patients can be handled properly in case of emergency. The application used by pregnant women is Mobile App-based, meanwhile, the Web-based Monitoring Information System is used by Posyandu cadres, Puskesmas, doctors, and hospitals. The application allows displaying the medical history and makes it easier for pregnant women to have counseling or examinations without meeting directly with the doctor. If there are any problems in the womb, the doctor will immediately provide a solution or recommendation. The results of the system testing with 15 respondents as users show that 52,1% strongly agree, 37,7% agree, and 10,2% neutral in response to the system interface. The implementation of the information system for monitoring high-risk pregnant women in the majority is accepted by all actors. Hence, it can be concluded that in an attempt to digitalize manual recording of pregnant women's examinations, this information system for monitoring high-risk pregnant women is reliable to be implemented.

Abstract

Academic Potential Test (TPA) is a test used to measure a person's ability level. At the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Victory University, Sorong, TPA was held before the Field Experience Program (PPL) where the implementation was still manual, namely the test was carried out in writing using paper and corrections by the lecturer. It takes a long time to correct and uses a lot of paper. The purpose of this research is to design a Web-Based Academic Potential Test Information System. System development used the prototype method. This research used the PHP programming language, the database is built using MySQL. The result of this study is that this web-based academic potential test information system helps FKIP in conducting online academic potential tests, where this test can be taken anywhere and can see the results directly after taking the test

Abstract

PT. Medista Utama is a company engaged in the distribution of medical devices. We have implemented an information system in the inventory section that is used to control the movement of products in the company. The system used must be able to manage, convey and maintain information security properly. So it is necessary to carry out an audit that aims to evaluate the information system governance that is running and ensure that the existing procedures support the existing business processes in the company. The audits were conducted following the standards of the COBIT 4.1 Framework for IT governance. This study will focus on the Delivery Service and Support (DSS) domain to analyze several aspects of IT that are currently running in this company, from the level of system security used to the management carried out by the system. In this domain, the research is focused on the DS5, DS10, and DS11 sub-domains. From the research results it is known that DS5 is at the level of 1.3; DS10 and DS11 are at level 2 (Repetitive but Intuitive). The conclusion is the level of capability obtained from the inventory information system of PT. Medista Utama is still below the expected level. And many improvements are needed to maximize the company's performance to achieve the expected Maturity Level value.

Abstract

The process of data collection and processing of student scores that is carried out continuously from year to year is felt to be unable to produce fast, precise and accurate information, because it takes a long time. Computerized information system processing student grades is expected to be able to ease the work of homeroom teachers, so that they can produce valid information in a short time and can be accessed anywhere. With good processing and management, value data processing will be easier, faster, more accurate. The purpose of this research is to build a web-based digital report card information system as a solution offered to help solve problems faced by schools. The system development method used is Extreme Programming (XP) which has several stages, namely planning, designing, coding, testing and Software Increment. The results of this study are the creation of an information system that can provide several advantages as well as efficiency and effectiveness in processing information and managing value data up to the printing of student report cards.

Abstract

Management Information System is a comprehensive, coordinated and rationally integrated set of information subsystems capable of transforming data into information through a series of ways to increase productivity in accordance with the style and nature of managers on the basis of established data quality criteria. Technological developments require every institution, both government and private, to provide services to be able to serve effectively and efficiently. Management is defined as a typical process consisting of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring carried out to determine and attempt to achieve goals by utilizing human resources and other resources. In the work process of Victory Sorong University, the General Administration Bureau (ADUM) carries out administrative management processes still manually, this can be seen from the survey results that the data management process is carried out in manual books. This is a major issue that needs attention. Manual conditions can support data loss due to several factors. The importance of the role and function of general administration management as the main task of a government agency, private or organization, so it is necessary to implement an integrated information system using PHP and MySQL database.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) within the Madrasah to implement anti-corruption education. This research belongs to the type of descriptive qualitative research by describing the facts or findings in the field. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation methods, and documentation. The instrument used in this research is the instrument using a questionnaire. The results show that the use of the education management system (EMIS) as the implementation of anti-corruption education is quite effective because the distribution of Education Operational Costs (BOP) to madrasas no longer has to pass through various parties but is directly channeled through school accounts, so there are no more deductions in the distribution process. The use of EMIS is also inseparable from internal and external constraints. From the inner aspect, it includes human resources who do not understand EMIS operations. Meanwhile, external factors include the EMIS central server, which requires further improvement to comfort and convenience for madrasas.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently experiencing its fourth industrial revolution in the 21st century. With the introduction of the internet, Indonesia is expected to gain more than a hundred billion US Dollars and twenty-six million job openings by 2030. The rising usage of information technology prompts regulators to develop The Electronic Information Transaction Act to protect the populace from cybercrime. However, the law attracts numerous criticism due to its vague interpretation. This resulted in numerous arrests of innocents throughout Indonesia. Thus, the public is trying to voice their opinions on social media for the sake of preventing any more cases in the future. The usage of Latent Dirichlet Allocation could provide numerous benefits for this research. The separation between latent topics among random mixtures helps to identify the common ground and correlation between each post. These latent topics will be elaborated with a sample post to provide insights and expectations of the public towards the law.
