Abstract

In the current digital era, information systems play a crucial role in the operations and decision-making processes of organizations. This study aims to examine the influence of information technology utilization, work experience, skills, and incentives on the effectiveness of accounting information systems at Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The primary focus of this research is to identify how these factors contribute to the effectiveness of accounting information systems. The study employs a quantitative method, using primary data collected through questionnaires. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that the variables of work experience, skills, and incentives have a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of accounting information systems, while the utilization of information technology has a negative and significant effect on the effectiveness of accounting information systems.

Abstract

Sonnia Ardelia Hong Simarmata, The Effect of Accounting Information Systems, Information Quality and Service Quality on User Satisfaction in E-Commerce Shopee Application (Empirical Study on Undergraduate Students of Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University), in the guidance of Mr. Irwansyah. The study's primary objective is to figure out what type of content Shopee brand app clients are. In our quest, we depend on the investigations undertaken by DeLone and McLean. Students from Mulawarman University's School of Business and Economics taking part. Using the Slovin method, the researchers settled upon a sample size of 91 for the study. In order to collect data from a stratified and unfiltered group of people, we utilized Google Forms questionnaires. As part of its mathematical modeling the method, the study used the SEM-PLS method and SmartPLS 3.2.9 programs. The Shopee e-commerce app's data shows that accounting information systems significantly and positively affect consumer happiness. Just like every other aspect of a product or service, information quality significantly impacts consumer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction with the Shopee e-commerce app is low regardless of the quality of service.

Abstract

Information literacy is closely related to critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills are related to exploring and evaluating information to make argumentation with relevant and appropriate information. It includes analyzing and synthesizing information to solve a problem where these activities are part of information literacy. Thus, information literacy-based learning should be able to enhance critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the correlation between critical thinking skills and student’s information literacy enhancement through learning chemistry with the PjBL-IL model on the biogas production context. This study used a pre-experimental method - one group pretest-posttest design involving 32 high school students. Students' critical thinking and information literacy skills were measured using tests. Critical thinking skills and information literacy enhancement on high and medium category with N-gain score are 72.90% and 66.20% respectively and show a low correlation with a correlation coefficient value of 0.144. Where the basic support indicator has a negative correlation (r = -0.105). Thus, critical thinking skills enhancement is not always in line with information literacy.

Abstract

The use of technology-based information systems not only improves operational efficiency but also enriches the learning and teaching experience. In this context, the management of theses, as an essential part of higher education programs, is one area that receives special attention. Based on the results of the observations, the Informatics Study Program registration process and scheduling of proposal seminars and final project trials are currently carried out conventionally. Meanwhile, the Informatics Study Program already has two previous systems, namely the thesis title checking system and the registration system and final project scheduling. However, they still need to be integrated and implemented on the server so the registration process is carried out conventionally. This study uses the Docker platform to discuss integrating the thesis information system and title-checking system in the Informatics Study Program at the Sumbawa University of Technology. The main goal is to improve operational efficiency and user experience, especially for students and teaching staff. This study covers various steps through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach and qualitative methods, from analyzing the running system and proposals to implementing Docker as a containerization platform. This integration brings significant changes, uniting the thesis title-checking and registration processes in one integrated platform. The results show increased administrative efficiency, more accessible access, and more focused use. However, this study also encourages further development for system maintenance, data security, and improvements according to user feedback to improve system functionality and resilience in the future.

Abstract

Several things that influence agency performance are the use of information technology and internal control. Information technology and physical internal control are two different things, but IT can be used as a tool to make it easier to carry out internal control and that does not mean that without IT internal control cannot be carried out, it can still be carried out, it's just that with IT it will be much easier because there are things - things that are difficult to achieve by manual internal control. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of the use of information technology and internal control on the regional financial information system and its impact on the quality of the Riau Islands Provincial Government's financial reports. The aim of the research is to determine the use of information technology within the Riau Islands Provincial Government. To find out internal control within the Riau Islands Provincial Government. To find out about the information system in the Riau Islands Provincial Government. To determine the quality of financial reports in the Riau Islands Provincial Government. To determine the influence of the use of technology and internal control on regional financial information systems. To determine the influence of regional financial information systems on the quality of financial reports. The research method is quantitative. Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to examine the relationship between various variables in order to identify potential solutions. The research method used is qualitative, involving the analysis of published journals. Out of the five factors reviewed, three are independent variables, namely the ease of use of information systems, information system user satisfaction, and quality of information system. The executive support system for business is considered the intervening variable, while employee performance is the dependent variable. The analysis of twenty published journals concludes that the independent variables have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The literature review suggests that businesses should take all factors into account to improve employee performance. Abstract

Competition to improve and optimize existing systems to achieve targeted results in an industrial ecosystem is increasingly fierce. This also applies to the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Yogyakarta's batik industry. From the consumer's perspective, access to location information is crucial for evaluating the conditions and products of MSMEs. On the other hand, for MSMEs, an increase in consumer visits translates to higher sales. Facilitating the availability of information is a key strategy to attract more visitors to MSMEs, both through direct visits to physical stores and virtually via online shopping platforms. One critical type of information is spatial data (space/position), which consumers use to locate MSMEs. A technological approach, such as website-based spatial access, is expected to meet this need. This study aims to enhance the accessibility of information for all stakeholders, including consumers and other participants in the batik industry ecosystem. It also enables batik MSMEs to optimize promotional strategies, increasing visitor numbers and product sales. This research applied the concept of 3-dimensional visualization to represent the locations of Batik MSMEs in Yogyakarta City and developed an information system for these businesses. The data includes spatial data and attributes, such as a list of MSMEs and detailed information. The information system was developed by integrating MSME location data with MapboxGL (a web app service) to provide a realistic 3D visualization of MSME locations. The final output is a website-based information system freely accessible online to various stakeholders, including consumers, policymakers, and institutions.

Abstract

In the process of compiling the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) in the information systems study program of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer, Universitas Harapan Medan, it is still done manually, namely by using Microsoft Office Excel, so it takes a long time to collect data and compile the report and there is no media to collect evidence that supports the preparation of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS). Therefore, a system was built as a medium to collect supporting evidence for the preparation of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and to store Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) data in the information systems study program. In designing the construction of this website-based LKPS information system, a system development method will be used, namely the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method. This system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQl as its database with the data modeling used is UML. Based on the black box testing of the LKPS Information System, all existing buttons can run according to their functions. In the end result, it was obtained that the system can run as expected and make it easier to manage data for compiling LKPS.
