Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Information Technology and Organizational Commitment to Knowledge-based Management Information System and its implication to decision making capability. The target population of this study is comprised of 500 managers and staff members working in construction companies located in the West Java Province. Due to the utilization of SEM-PLS analysis in this study, can utilize the rule of thumb to determine the sample size, which is 20 times the number of parameters present in the research model. Within this study, there are a total of 5 parameters, resulting in a selected sample of 100 managers and staff members. The results of this study found that liquidity, earnings management and independent komisais affect tax aggressiveness, while executive compensation does not affect the aggressiveness of taxes. Based on total adjusted R-Square results prove that liquidity, earnings management, independent commissionist, and executive compensation only affect 26%, while 74% is influenced by other variable not tested in this research.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology today, we must continue to follow the development of the digital transformation era, where educational institutions need a strong system to manage information efficiently. Academic Information Systems are an important framework that helps educational organizations simplify their functions, improve communication, improve student services, process student and teacher data in schools, and support decision-making processes. The purpose of creating this system at Avicena Rajeg Vocational School is to facilitate the administrative process, especially data management because previously there was no system to help students and teachers manage data. The authors used information gathering methods to conduct their research. This method collects data from the authorities to find out the root cause of the problem, and then analyzes the data. In order to obtain the data, the authors conducted direct observations in schools, the collection and study of documents—documentation that will help with this research—and interviews with relevant parties in schools are necessary. At this point, some problems were found with the management of school data and solutions to these problems. The results of this research will help in the development of a more efficient academic information system. The result is that with a data management system for teachers and students, everything will be more organized and more informed.

Abstract

Public information disclosure has become a pressing legal issue due to its significance in ensuring transparency and its role as a pillar of a healthy democracy. It serves as a crucial tool for guaranteeing the public’s right to know what the government is doing, has done, and plans to do. Law No. 14/2008 on Public Information Disclosure aligns with fundamental principles in Indonesian Constitutional Law, including the right to communicate and access information as stated in Article 28F of the 1945 Constitution. This research aims to address two key questions: 1) What is the role of Law No. 14/2008 within the Indonesian constitutional system? and 2) How is the law implemented in resolving public information disputes, particularly in ensuring the equal distribution of Information Commission institutions across districts and cities in North Sumatra? The research uses a normative juridical approach and a qualitative method, focusing on a deep understanding of the issue rather than generalization. Ultimately, the study seeks to propose the establishment of District/City Information Commissions throughout North Sumatra, which would assist local communities in resolving public information disputes more efficiently, reducing the need to travel to the North Sumatra Information Commission in Medan and thereby saving time and costs for all parties involved.

Abstract

This study evaluates user satisfaction with the Inventory Administration Information System (SIAP) in North Sulawesi Province using the PIECES Framework and provides recommendations for improvement. The PIECES Framework was chosen due to its proven effectiveness in assessing satisfaction, identifying issues, and guiding system development. This framework consists of six variables: Performance, Information & Data, Economic, Control & Security, Efficiency, and Service. The sample size was determined using Slovin's formula, involving 36 administrators from government offices. Data was collected through questionnaires measured on a Likert scale. The results indicate overall user satisfaction across all six variables. However, some weaknesses were identified, particularly in the Performance and Control & Security variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of information technology, information sharing, and trust on supply chain performance, with supply chain integration as a mediating variable. The research method used is a quantitative approach, with questionnaires distributed to 236 individuals in the retail supply chain in Batam. Data were analyzed using the PLS method with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that information technology and trust have a significant positive relationship with supply chain performance. Additionally, supply chain integration strengthens the relationships between information technology, information sharing, trust, and supply chain performance. However, it was found that information sharing does not have a significant relationship with supply chain performance. The implications of this study highlight the importance of effective use of information technology to enhance supply chain integration, which in turn strengthens information sharing and trust among partners, thereby improving retail performance in Batam City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial information, non-financial information, and macroeconomic conditions on the level of underpricing. The research variables used are financial information variables (Return on Assets and Debt to Equity Ratio), non-financial information variables (company size and company age), and macroeconomic conditions variables (inflation and interest rates). This study is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The population of this study were companies conducting Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018-2022, totaling 273 companies and a sample size of 235 companies selected using the purposive sampling method. The results of the study showed several results, including (1) financial information variables (ROA and DER) did not affect the level of underpricing in companies conducting IPOs on the IDX in 2008-2022; (2) non-financial information variables show different results in their influence on the level of underpricing where company size influences the level of underpricing, while company age does not have a significant effect on the level of underpricing; (3) macroeconomic condition variables also show different results in their influence on the level of underpricing where inflation has no effect and interest rates influence underpricing.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic significance of Information Technology (IT) in enhancing organizational competitiveness, particularly through its impact on employee productivity, decision-making processes, and business process efficiency. The rapid evolution of digital technologies has compelled organizations to integrate IT as a core component of their operational and strategic frameworks. To examine this relationship systematically, the study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, analyzing 15 peer-reviewed articles published between 2018 and 2023. Articles were selected based on inclusion criteria such as relevance to IT adoption, methodological rigor, and empirical depth. The review identifies key factors that influence successful IT integration, including top management support, user training, trust in system reliability, and perceived usefulness. Notably, 80% of the reviewed studies demonstrate a strong positive correlation between IT integration and employee performance, especially in enhancing data accessibility, enabling real-time collaboration, and supporting informed decision-making. Furthermore, the findings reveal that effective IT usage contributes not only to financial performance but also to non-financial outcomes such as employee satisfaction and organizational adaptability. These results underscore the strategic value of IT in fostering both operational excellence and workforce empowerment. The study offers practical recommendations for managers and policymakers to enhance IT adoption strategies and align technological initiatives with organizational goals.

Abstract

Information security is one of the key aspects of protecting information assets. Referring to the Regulation of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics No. 4 of 2016, Electronic System Providers (PSE) are required to implement information security to safeguard public interests, public services, state administration, and national defense and security. Therefore, the XYZ Regency Communication and Information Office, as an Electronic System Provider, needs to conduct an evaluation of its information security. This study aims to assess the level of information security at the XYZ Regency Communication and Information Office using the KAMI Index version 5.0 and to provide improvement recommendations in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 controls. The KAMI Index is used as a standard evaluation tool for assessing information security readiness based on the Regulation of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) No. 8 of 2021. The evaluation results show that the XYZ Regency Communication and Information Office obtained a final score of 248, with a readiness status of "Not Eligible" to meet the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. The maturity level of information security is in the range of Level I to II. Improvement recommendations are provided based on questionnaire results that do not yet meet the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards. These recommendations serve as a reference for the XYZ Regency Communication and Information Office to align its information security governance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.
