Abstract

This study examines the growing imbalance between the availability and demand for medical resources, rising healthcare costs, and the critical role of accessible health information in disease prevention and public health. The rapid advancement of information technology has established the Internet as a primary source of health information, leading to an overload that surpasses users' processing capacity and causes significant cognitive and emotional challenges. This phenomenon profoundly affects users' health information behavior and decision-making, particularly in self-health management. To address these challenges, eHealth literacy must incorporate an understanding of users' information behavior. This research analyzed the literature on eHealth literacy through a systematic review, identifying key components and categorizing them using Squiers' method. The findings reveal that current definitions fail to address the variability in online health information quality and lack a comprehensive model for understanding information behavior in an overloaded environment. As a solution, this study proposes a new definition of eHealth literacy: the capacity to efficiently search for, access, evaluate, and apply relevant information based on physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs when using electronic health resources. This new definition emphasizes discernment, proactive engagement, personalized use, and practical application of information in health management. The Information Behavior Model of eHealth Literacy (IBeHL) highlights eHealth literacy's multifaceted and dynamic nature, influenced by environmental factors, and recognizes both active information seeking and passive information exposure. Future research should focus on refining this model and exploring its potential to enhance health information behavior and decision-making.

Abstract

A Trade Secret refers to knowledge or information that is not publicly accessible within the realms of technology and business, which holds economic significance due to its utility in commercial operations, and is carefully safeguarded by its proprietor. Such secrets receive legal protection upon the creation of the information, especially when it begins to influence economic activities. It is common for parties to insert confidentiality clauses into agreements to ensure that sensitive information remains undisclosed. Once included, compliance with the confidentiality terms becomes mandatory for all involved. This study examines the responsibilities of employees, bound by employment contracts, in preserving the confidentiality of trade secrets belonging to their employers. It also explores the legal consequences of employment contracts that omit confidentiality clauses and the overall legal protection afforded to owners of trade secrets under Indonesia's legal framework. The study adopts a normative legal research approach, relying primarily on secondary data sources. Using a descriptive analysis method, data was collected through the examination of documents. The findings reveal that employees are obligated to protect their employer's trade secrets, and the manner in which companies manage their confidential information greatly impacts employees' ability to uphold such secrecy. A key measure in protecting trade secrets is for employers to establish provisions in employment contracts with their staff. Without confidentiality clauses, the risk of sensitive information being leaked or misused by the recipient is significantly heightened.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The administrative and final project service submission system is an information system that will be used at the Information Technology Department of Tadulako University in terms of carrying out the administrative process and final assignments for both lecturers, education staff, and students. SIPENDEKAR is designed for lecturers, education personnel, and students SIPENDEKAR is designed to integrate all administrative processes and final assignments. This research uses the heuristic evaluation method . The heuristic evaluation method is a method used to identify problems in the use of interface design, so that usability problems can be corrected through the redesign process. Through the application of Heuristic Evaluation, we can find obstacles and receive suggestions for improvement from experts based on usability principles that apply to websites that have 10 principles, namely Visibility of system status, Match between system and the real world, User control and freedom, Consistency and standards, Error Prevention, Recongnition rather than recall, Flexibility and efficiency of use, Aesthetic and minimalist design, Help users recognize, Dialogue, and recovers from errors, and Help and documentation. The questionnaire testing involved 37 respondents, the results of the validity and reliability test were declared valid and reliable.This research uses 6 research stages Identification of problems and literature studies, determination of evaluation methods, preparation for evaluation, and preparation for evaluation.

Abstract

Laboratorium komputer saat ini memiliki peran yang penting, melalui eksperimen langsung dengan komputer pelajar lebih memahami teori yang mereka dapatkan dengan lebih baik. Dalam menggunakan laboratorium dibutuhkan pendampingan khusus. Selain kepala laboratorium, asisten laboratorium juga turut serta mendampingi proses praktikum. Laboratorium Sistem Informasi di Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau belum mengadopsi sistem pendaftaran asisten laboratorium secara online. Proses pendaftaran masih bersifat manual, yang seringkali memakan waktu lama dan berpotensi menyebabkan kesalahan pencatatan data serta risiko kehilangan informasi yang penting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem informasi open recruitment asisten laboratorium di Laboratorium Sistem Informasi Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam membangun sistem ini adalah metode Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi open recruitment asisten laboratorium di Laboratorium menggunakan model prototyping.

Abstract

Deteksi website phising merupakan tantangan penting dalam keamanan siber, terutama dengan semakin canggihnya teknik-teknik phising yang digunakan untuk mengecoh pengguna dan mencuri informasi pribadi. Seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah serangan phising, diperlukan metode yang efektif dan efisien untuk mengidentifikasi situs web berbahaya. Algoritma Iterative Dichotomiser 3 (ID3) merupakan salah satu algoritma klasifikasi yang efektif dalam konteks ini, namun kinerjanya dapat ditingkatkan melalui optimasi fitur yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan Algoritma ID3 dalam mendeteksi website phising dengan menggabungkan metode Min-Max Scaling dan Information Gain untuk proses seleksi fitur. Metode ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akurasi model dengan hanya mempertahankan fitur-fitur yang paling relevan. Dalam proses seleksi fitur, diperoleh tiga fitur yang memiliki nilai Information Gain sebesar 0, yaitu Favicon, Iframe, dan popUpWidnow. Ketiga fitur ersebut tidak memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap prediksi. Fitur-fitur ini kemudian dihilangkan dari total 30 fitur yang ada, menghasilkan model yang lebih ramping dan efisien. Evaluasi algoritma ID3 dilakukan menggunakan metode k-fold cross-validation dengan 8 fold, yang memberikan gambaran lebih akurat mengenai kinerja model. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model ID3 yang menggunakan 27 fitur terbaik menghasilkan nilai rata-rata akurasi sebesar 0.9856, presisi 0.9863, dan recall 0.9878. Di sisi lain, model ID3 yang menggunakan semua 30 fitur menghasilkan nilai rata-rata akurasi sebesar 0.9854, presisi 0.9860, dan recall 0.9878. Meskipun perbedaan akurasi antara kedua model relatif kecil, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa seleksi fitur yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kinerja model dalam mendeteksi website phising. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan teknik deteksi phising yang lebih baik dan dapat diandalkan, serta menjadi referensi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut di bidang keamanan siber.

Abstract

The need for information depends on various factors, including the information technology used, but the application of technology in producing information should consider the user. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of information technology and the implementation of internal control on the quality of accounting information systems at PT. Budi Agung Sentosa. The method used is a descriptive verification approach. the population in this study were employees of PT. Budi Agung Sentosa as many as 50 people where the sampling method used was saturated sampling. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The results show that the application of information technology has a positive and significant impact on the quality of the accounting information system at PT Budi Agung Sentosa by 67.7%. The implementation of internal control has a positive and significant effect on the quality of the accounting information system at PT Budi Agung Sentosa by 62.5% and simultaneously the application of information technology and the implementation of internal control together has a significant effect on the quality of the accounting information system at PT Budi Agung Sentosa with a large the effect of 73.6% while the remaining 26.4% is influenced by other factors that are not observed.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has encouraged people to adopt online shopping. Shopee, as one of the global e-commerce platforms, has successfully dominated the Indonesian market. This study aims to examine the influence of Ubiquitous Connectivity, Information Transparency, and Information Overload on Usage Intention. The study employs Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) and Information Processing Theory (IPT). The method used is quantitative with a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using SEMPLS through a structural equation model, with respondents from Generation Z in Surabaya. The results of this study reveal that Ubiquitous Connectivity, Information Transparency, and Information Overload significantly influence Usage Intention. These findings highlight the importance of Ubiquitous Connectivity, Information Transparency, Information Overload, and Usage Intention in e-commerce, particularly among Generation Z. This study is expected to help e-commerce platforms enhance their applications to provide better convenience for users.

Abstract

To provide security to their patients, healthcare providers use a system for patient safety which includes risk reporting and analysis of incidents, identification and management of risks, and the ability to learn about events that have occurred. According to the 2017 patient safety data at Prof. Dr. Soerojo Psychiatric Hospital, 7% of patient safety incidents at the hospital required a Root Cause Analysis. To aid the process, an online information system is necessary. This research was qualitative research that used the waterfall method for the information syntax. This involved planning, analysis, design, implementation, and system. From there, the data was then evaluated based on its accessibility, completeness, accuracy, and speed. The qualitative data was gathered through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and unstructured interviews with selected informants. 26 informants were involved in this research, this included the reporters, the Patient Safety (KPRS) Team, and the hospital management board. Results of the would then produce recommendations on how to handle the problems found. Based on the data gathered, we discovered that after the application of the information system, the hospital experienced a 53.8% increase in patient safety.

Abstract

Faktor manusia ini diantaranya System Use (Penggunaan Sistem), dan User Satisfaction (Kepuasan Pengguna), Penggunaan sistem ini berkaitan dengan output suatu sistem informasi seperti laporan sebagai bentuk penilaian keberhasilan system. Tujuan penelitian: hubungan human, organization dan technology dengan net benefit pada penerapan sistem informasi manajemen di Rumah Sakit Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. Metode: bersifat survei analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional, populasi dan sampel, 43 responden, dengan tehnik sampel total sampling. Hasil penelitian: nilai p= 0,01 Berarti p value < 0.05, maka hubungan human, dengan net benefit pada penerapan system informasi manajemen di Rumah sakit Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. nilai p= 0,03 Berarti p value < 0.05, maka hubungan organization dengan net benefit pada penerapan system informasi manajemen di Rumah sakit Grandmed. nilai p= 0,01 Berarti p value < 0.05, maka hubungan Technologi dengan net benefit pada penerapan system informasi manajemen di Rumah sakit Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. Kesimpulan dan saran: Diharapkan penelitiannya ini berguna untuk kemajuan system informasi di rumah saki Grandmed, yang membuat rumah sakit tetap melayani pasiennya dengan standar yang sudah sesuai yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the internal control system on the quality of accounting information systems and its effect on the quality of accounting information. The research was conducted on the Branch Delivery System of Bank Mandiri in the Asia Afrika area of Bandung. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey distributed to relevant employees. The results indicate that the internal control system has a significant positive effect on the quality of accounting information systems and the quality of accounting information. Additionally, the quality of accounting information systems contributes to improving the quality of accounting information. This study provides practical implications, suggesting that enhancing the internal control system can improve the quality of accounting information produced by the organization.
