Abstract

The coal industry is one of the largest contributors to the state budget of more than 40 billion annually, so the declining coal industry and the condition of every coal company in Indonesia are of particular concern to the government. This study examines how the level of financial distress of coal mining companies IDX 2012 - 2016 when analyst with Springate method and Grover method, and which method is most appropriate in predicting financial distress in coal companies. From the results of the calculation with the both methods are Obtained results there are some coal companies are declared to have financial distress with both methods and obtained the result that the Grover method is the most appropriate methods in predicting financial distress.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of third party funds, Bank Indonesia Certificates, and non-performing loans on return on assets and loan deposit ratio and the effect of loan deposit ratio on return on assets of commercial banks in Indonesia. The sample of this research is commercial bank listed Bursa Efek Indonesia period 2011 - 2015. There are 15 banks that meet the criteria as research samples with assets above IDR 50 Trillion. Hypothesis testing uses path analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate that TPF, BIC and NPL are partially and simultaneously influential and significant to the LDR, while TPF, BIC, NPL simultaneously also have an effect and significant effect on ROA, and LDR affects ROA but is not significant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and price on consumer satisfaction by using marketing relationships as an intervening variable. This is quantitative research. The data presented in this study were obtained through a questionnaire given to 50 respondents. The research design used in hypothesis testing is the structural equation model (SEM) – Smart PLS The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a significant direct effect of service quality on consumer satisfaction, (2) There is a significant direct effect of price on customer satisfaction, (3) There is a significant direct effect of service quality on marketing relationship, (4) There is a significant direct effect of price on marketing relationship, (5) There is a significant indirect effect of service quality, price and marketing relationship that can be a mediator on consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

The aim of the study on the financial behavior of youth employees is to review the impact of financial capability, income on financial behavior in evaluating the financial position. The main target of this study is mediating the evaluation of financial behavior in the effort of increasing the financial position of youth employees. A research method conducts with a survey of 100 youth employees in Indonesia, particularly in Central Jakarta, that has more youth employees. Data from youth employees obtain through questionnaires and data is processed by SmartPLS; remember that analysis technique is using the path analysis model. Research results found that financial capability and income have a truly significant impact on financial behavior; likewise, it is directly to financial position. However, it known that financial behavior cannot directly influence to financial position. Research novelty explains that financial behavior cannot be mediation between financial capability and income to financial position. This finding is useful for youth employees in understanding the financial position and for the government in comprehending the financial behavior of youth employees. So, it expects to be able to give the policy of financial management for youth employees.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze and predict how work stress factors, quality of leadership, work motivation, organizational culture, and job satisfaction affect the turnover intention. Observations on this research were conducted on 150 employees in national companies engaged in satellite-based telecommunications. Data were collected by using questionnaire. The analysis method used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square(PLS) as an analysis tool. The research results showed that work stress and job satisfaction influence on turnover intention while the quality of leadership, work motivation, and organizational culture have no effect on turnover intention. Suggestions for future research and the company are outlined in the closing section.

Abstract

This paper is intended to examine the preformance of the discrete-time hazard model with interest rate in predicting bankruptcy of listed insurance companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study focuses on the period after the 2008-crises. The study employed 2008-2015 financial data of all insurance companies listed in Indonesia stock market. The author conducted  stepwise logistic regression to find particular financial ratios to be included in the model, and used interest rate as the baseline hazard rate. To examine precision of the model, the author placed 2016 as the forecast period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of education, work experience, intellectual intelligence and work discipline on employee performance mediated by motivation at the Directorate of Security for Vital Objects of the National Police. The population is 170 respondents using saturated sample technique. Data analysis technique using SEM-PLS. The results of the analysis show that education has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, experience has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, education has a positive but not significant effect on motivation, work experience has a positive but not significant effect on motivation, intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on motivation, work discipline has a positive but not significant effect on motivation, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, motivation is unable to mediate the effect of education on employee performance, motivation unable to mediate the effect of experience on employee performance, motivation is able to mediate the effect of intellectual intelligence on employee performance and motivation is able to mediate the effect of discipline k work on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe and show the role of HRIS related to its use, business opportunities, and employee performance evaluation, which is used from existing scientific articles and then given a perspective by researchers in this scientific article. Research methods used. Qualitative research with a literary research approach. This method uses the keywords HRIS, Human Capital and Career to summarize articles from Google Scholar, Research Gate and other reputable international journals. Literature titles, abstracts and keywords are used to filter the criteria of the filtered literature again, reading the entire content. The  results of research with research variables are related to  research (Nagendra &; Deshpande, 2014), (Irum &; Yadav, 2019), (Widhianto, 2002), (Jonni &; Husein, 2019), and there are also research results that conflict with manual use with HRIS from research results  (Edhy Permata, 2019), the last research from (Susanto &; Parmenas, 2021) where business and development opportunities for companies to use HRIS in MSMEs. Variables that can be used for further research HRIS Skills Inventory, HRIS Training Needs Analysis, HRIS Succession Planning and HRIS Workforce Needs and Supply Analysis, workforce planning, HR business needs and decision making, cheap and easy information technology from the business side, employee training, employee violation information, employee payroll, business   acquisition records , HRIS is still followed by manual processes, business opportunities and development of system usage
