Abstract

Penggunaan media digital telah menjadi aspek krusial dalam inovasi pembelajaran, terutama dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia untuk mahasiswa BIPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis jenis-jenis media digital yang diterapkan dalam pengajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi mahasiswa BIPA selama periode 2019 hingga 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis, dengan menganalisis sepuluh artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat lima kategori utama media digital yang digunakan: aplikasi mobile (40%), platform pembelajaran online (20%), media audiovisual (20%), buku digital (10%), dan media sosial (10%). Efektivitas media digital menunjukkan hasil yang positif, dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan bahasa mencapai 75% dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna sebesar 82%. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan teknis, seperti keterbatasan akses (35%) dan kebutuhan untuk pengembangan fitur (25%). Temuan ini berkontribusi dalam pemetaan penggunaan media digital untuk pembelajaran BIPA dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a media website kresno.id, for learning the speaking skills of BIPA students at Brawijaya University. The development of the Kresno.id website is based on learning to speak, which is still limited to textbooks as teaching materials and WhatsApp as a medium for practicing speaking online. However, the ability to speak has a vital role in the success of learning. In addition, the Kresno. id website media combines cultural elements. This research is a development research using the adapted Borg and Gall model. The resulting product is a Kresno.id website, which includes general website information, instructions for use, reasons for choosing the Kresno website, materials, dictionaries, speaking exercises, text-related information, video viewing, developer addresses, developer social media, and contacts. The data in this study were obtained from interviews with BIPA teachers, validation test results, and product trial results. The results of this study show (1) media expert validation gets a percentage of 99.16% with a perfect category, (2) material expert validation gets a percentage of 91% with a perfect category, and (3) linguist validation gets 96.15% with a perfect category. Good, (4) the final validation of expert practitioners obtained 85.66% in the perfect category. Based on the validation of the kresno.id website, it can be tested in a limited and broadway. The results of the wide trial show an average percentage of 88.36% with a perfect category. Implementing the Kresno.id website yielded an average score of 92 during the extensive trial.

Abstract

Writing skill is the most difficult language skill to be mastered by BIPA learners. One of the efforts to reduce these difficulties is by choosing effective and interesting learning media. This research was written to describe the use of audio-visual media in learning to write BIPA learners. The research method chosen is descriptive-qualitative and uses the type of library research to find data about the use of audio-visual media. Based on the data obtained, audio-visual media is considered effective to use in writing skills because this media is not only in the form of writing or sound but also equipped with images that can provide a real picture of the material being studied by BIPA learners. Broadly speaking, the steps of applying audio-visual learning media are divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) merupakan sebuah program pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing. BIPA International Relation Office (IRO) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman menjadi salah satu lembaga pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing yang berada di Purwokerto, Banyumas. Keterbatasan bahan belajar mandiri menyebabkan pemelajar kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran. Materi dalam bahan ajar masih bersifat umum dan belum sesuai kebutuhan pemelajar sehingga membutuhkan penyesuaian. Dengan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, pemilihan bahan ajar dalam bentuk digital dapat memuat informasi sesuai kebutuhan pemelajar tanpa terbatas ruang dan waktu. Selain itu, materi yang sesuai konteks, budaya, dan kebutuhan pemelajar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dapat membantu pemelajar untuk beradaptasi dan berinteraksi dengan penduduk lokal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kebutuhan pengembangan bahan ajar digital bermuatan budaya Banyumas bagi pemelajar BIPA 1 di Unsoed. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu analysis (analisis), design (perancangan), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Hasil analisis kebutuhan dalam penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan tujuan dan kondisi penelitian yang sebenarnya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan wawancara dan pengisian angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kebutuhan pengajar dan pemelajar terhadap bahan ajar digital bermuatan budaya Banyumas bagi pemelajar BIPA 1 di Unsoed. Pengembangan bahan ajar digital diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan aksesibilitas bagi pengajar dan pemelajar sesuai dengan preferensi dan kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran BIPA 1. Selain itu, penggunaan bahan ajar digital diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kosakata dan memberikan pengalaman budaya Banyumasan bagi pemelajar BIPA.

Abstract

Enhancing the speaking skills of BIPA learners can be effectively achieved through the implementation of routines and patterns. However, this is often not paid attention to in foreign language learning, including BIPA, because it is directly at the creative language stage. For this reason, research is needed on whether foreign speakers' Indonesian speaking skills will improve if the learning process is carried out through routines and patterns. This qualitative descriptive study investigates the instructional environment of BIPA students at Yogyakarta State University, with a focus on the Yunan class. Data were collected from interactions between the instructor and BIPA students. The findings indicate that the use of routine and patterned expressions by instructors facilitates implicit language acquisition, allowing learners to internalize Indonesian through structured classroom routines. These routines and patterns play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining social interactions and optimizing communicative competence in Indonesian.

Abstract

The utilization of cultural value integration in open BIPA (Indonesian for Foreign Speakers) teaching materials is a strategic approach that can improve the quality of Indonesian language learning among foreign speakers. This study aims to analyze the utilization of cultural value integration in open Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) teaching materials. This method is carried out by collecting ten scientific articles in Indonesian language journals found from the Google Scholar database. The literature comes from the period 2021 - 2024. This study explores various relevant scientific articles to identify effective methods and media in integrating cultural values ​​into BIPA teaching. From the ten articles analyzed, the results show that the use of cultural elements, such as folklore, traditions, and social practices, in teaching materials not only enriches learning content but also helps learners understand the social and cultural context in which the language is used. This creates a more contextual and in-depth learning experience, which in turn improves learners' communication skills. These findings provide recommendations for the development of BIPA teaching materials that are more comprehensive and responsive to the needs of foreign learners.

Abstract

In the current era of development, learning BIPA (Indonesian for Foreign Speakers) is of great interest to many people because BIPA is not just about language learning, but also about cultural understanding and integration. This research explains the influence of Japanese culture in teaching BIPA and the challenges in teaching BIPA, because every learning is inseparable from the challenges faced. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study as the research design. The results of this study indicate that the integration of cultural elements in the teaching of BIPA is urgent. This is due to the significant differences in cultural characteristics. In addition, the process of cultural integration in BIPA teaching is not free from challenges. One of the main challenges is the difference in cultural background that can affect the way learners absorb and understand teaching materials. It can be concluded that the integration of cultural learning in BIPA is one of the important efforts in improving the effectiveness of language teaching and introducing Indonesian culture to the international community.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a speaking skills textbook based on the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) model with introduction materials for Surabaya typical foods for Indonesian learners for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) level 2. The development of this textbook is based on the needs of learners who need a contextual and interactive learning approach to improve speaking skills in authentic communicative situations. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The results of the study show that this textbook is effective and interesting for BIPA learners. The validation of material experts and media experts showed the category of "very decent" with scores of 92% and 90%, respectively. Product trials in small and large groups also showed a significant improvement in learners' speaking skills, based on the results of the pre-test and post-test with an average increase of 35%. This textbook is designed to support learners in getting to know Indonesian culture, especially Surabaya's culinary specialties, through learning activities that involve movement, hearing, visual observation, and intellectual analysis. Thus, this textbook can be one of the innovative and relevant learning media for BIPA learners, as well as contributing to introducing Indonesian local culture to the international world. This study recommends the use of the SAVI model for other learning materials to create a more contextual and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menganalisis makna makanan tradisional pada tradisi Ruwah Rasul pernikahan dan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan makna makanan dalam tradisi Ruwah Rasul pernikahan sebagai wawasan ke Indonesiaan bagi pelajar BIPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan masyarakat asli Kediri yang masih menjalankan tradisi Ruwah Rasul pernikahan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tradisi Ruwah Rasul Pernikahan yang terwujud dari makna makanan dalam tradisi Ruwah Rasul tersebut. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan empat tahapan yakni, (1) pengumpulan data penelitian, (2) reduksi data penelitian, (3) penyajian data penelitian, (4) verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna makanan pada tradisi Ruwah Rasul dikategorikan menjadi tiga jenis yaitu (1) Makna makanan berdasarkan penamaan, (2) Makna makanan berdasarkan karakteristik, (3) Makna makanan berdasarkan tekstur. Makna makanan dalam tradisi Ruwah Rasul pernikahan ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengetahuan pelajar BIPA mengenai makna, ungkapan, gagasan dan kebudayaan di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Makanan Tradisional, Ruwah Rasul, BIPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna filosofis hantaran dalam tradisi ganjuran dan pemanfaatnnya sebagai bentuk eksplorasi budaya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Pembelajaran BIPA dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah untuk memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan eksistensi bahasa serta keberagaman kebudayaan bangsa Indonesia di kancah Internasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan warga masyarakat Lamongan yang masih melestarikan tradisi ganjuran dan paham terkait makna yang terkandung dalam hantaran yang disajikan dalam tradisi ganjuran. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar wawancara dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat klasifikasi makna dalam hantaran pada tradisi ganjuran, yaitu makna berdasasrkan tekstur, penamaan, karakteristik, dan bahan pembuatannya. Macam-macam hantaran dan makna hantaran tersebut dalam tradisi ganjuran di kabupaten Lamongan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar untuk memperkaya kosa kata pemelajar, mengembangkan pemahaman gagasan pada suatu teks atau tuturan dan yang paling utama yaitu sebagai bentuk pengenalan atau eksplorarasi budaya Indonesia melalui bidang kuliner pada kegiatan pembelajaran BIPA.Kata Kunci: Tradisi Ganjuran, Hantaran, BIPA, Budaya
