Abstract

This research began from issues of the low creative thinking abilities of students of class X SMAN Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This research is aimed to reveal the effect of PBI models in students ability in mathematical creative thinking students ability started from high, medium and low, as well as the interaction between the model and the learning ability of students in influencing early mathematical creative thinking.This research is a quasi experimental design of The Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this research is all students of class X SMAN Pesisir Selatan. The sampling technique used is Random Sampling. Samples of this research are the students of class X SMAN 2 Lengayang in the class X.4 as the experimental class and class X.1 as the control class. The instrument used is a test consists of beginning capabilities test and Posttest to see the students' mathematical creative thinking ability. Data analysis was performed using t-test and ANAVA two ways for interaction. There are some conclusions that can be acquired based on the results of research and discussion. First, the students which use PBI have higher mathematical creative thinking ability than students that use the conventional learning. Second, mathematical creative thinking high ability students that using PBI model of learning higher than students using the conventional learning.Third, the starting studentscreative thinking ability is medium and the students which use PBI higher than students using conventional learning. Fourth, the mathematical ability to think creatively mathematical learners PBI higher than students who use conventional learning.Fifth, there is no interaction between the model of learning and the prior knowledge of students in influencing the students mathematical creative thinking.Keywords :Problem Based Instruction (PBI), Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis, Kemampuan

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the contribution Designing Learning Ability Of Education Lecturers Efektigitas STKIP-PGRI West Sumatra. The hypothesis of the study is a contribution to effective learning capabilities designed an instructional faculty PGRI-STKIP West Sumatra, West. This study uses a total sampling involving subjects were 71 lecturers. They are professors and lecturers PNSD Foundation. Data were collected through questionnaires and student grades. The data collected is then analyzed statistically using correlation and regression analysis. Results of the analysis showed that: The ability to design learning has a significant contribution to the effectiveness of learning lecturer PGRI-STKIP West Sumatra amounting to 35.5%, based on above findings, it can be concluded that the ability to design learning contribute to the effectiveness of instructional faculty STKIP PGRI Sumatra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan proses tradisi uang japuik dan uang ilang, makna yang terkandung pada tradisi uang japuik dan uang ilang, konflik internal yang terjadi akibat tradisi uang japuik dan uang ilang, dan upaya mengatasi konflik yang terjadi. Jenis penelitian adalah jenis studi kasus.. Tekhnik pemilihan informan menggunakan metode (purposive sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses pembayaran uang japuik dan uang uang ilang dalam sistem perkawinan di Nagari Tandikek Kecamatan Patamuan Kabupaten Padang Pariaman ditentukan oleh kedua belah pihak yang diserahkan oleh mamak perempuan kepada mamak laki-laki. setelah menikah uang japuik akan dikembalikan kepada pihak perempuan ketika manjalang mintuo. Sedangkan proses pembayaran uang ilang ditentukan kedua belah pihak dua minggu sebelum pernikahan dan dianggap uang dapur yang tidak akan dikembalikan oleh pihak laki-laki. Makna yang terkandung dalam tradisi ini adalah sebagai penghargaan kepada kaum laki-laki sekaligus merupakan kebanggan bagi mamak kedua belah pihak dan sebagai bantuan materil kepada orang tua pihak laki laki. Tidak jarang pernikahan batal dilaksanakan karena uang japuik dan uang ilang tidak disanggupi oleh pihak keluarga perempuan, sehingga konflik internal sering terjadi dengan keluarga karena bersikeras untuk menikah. Dengan demikian upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi konflik (1) harus adanya sosialisasi dari pihak KAN kepada calon mempelai pria untuk ikut membantu pihak perempuan dalam memberikan uang japuik sehingga pernikahan dapat berlangsung. (2) harus adanya peraturan tertulis mengenai Nominal uang japuik dan uang ilang di Nagari Tandikek.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the pattern of class-based character education through instructional and non-instructional approach to learning the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Ikur Koto Padang. The study also aims to determine the factors supporting and hindering the implementation of character education at the school. Qualitative methods have been used in carrying out this study. The data source is taken from six (6) informants, consisting of three (3) teachers PAI and three (3) class teachers. All data were taken using the in-depth interviews , and thematically analyzed using qualitative analysis tools. The results of this study clearly shows that there are five important themes implementation pattern of character education in the areas of instructional namely: (insert character values into the syllabus, lesson plans, learning materials, habituation to the students and make teachers as an example). As in the realm of non-instructional found three themes, namely: (insert character value to management, trust and consensus grade). In the supporting factors were found four themes, namely: (a curriculum that has been integrated, competent teachers, completeness of facilities and infrastructure, as well as the establishment of good cooperation between the school and parents). Whereas the inhibiting factors isfound two important themes, namely: (a lack of training for teachers on how to implement a character education and schools are often faced with various problems morals of students, especially students with problems from other schools and move to SMP Khaira Ummah).Keywords: Character Education, instructional and non-instructional approach, SMP Islam Khaira Ummah

Abstract

This study was begun at finding description about the mathematics teacher did not make relationship between new information to real situation of students and the students ability in problem solving was still lower. This problem certainly impacts to mathematics belief of students. For making out this problem, a contextual approach in mathematics learning has been being applied. The goals of this research were to know students ability in problem solving between contextual and conventional approach and also mathematics belief of students after studied using contextual approach. The kind of this research was a quasi experiment. The population was the students of class IX Junior High School 1 Bayang. The researchs instruments are problem solving tests and questionnaire sheets. The result of this research showed the mean of final test in experiment class is higher than control class and also mathematics belief of student. Based on the result of the research could be conclude that students ability in problem solving and mathematics belief with using contextual approach better than conventional approach both high and low prior knowledges students. Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning process and student learning outcomes by using a jig saw on the subjects of Islamic religious education in class V SDN 21 / III Koto Patah. This type of research is a classroom action research with research subjects graders of SDN 21 / III Koto Broken totaling 24 people. The object of this research is the implementation and the results obtained from the application of methods jig saw. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of learning with jigsaw models can enhance the learning process and the learning outcomes of students in grade V SDN 21 / III Koto Patah. Improved learning model pupil activity jigsaw in the first cycle of 56.04% increased in the second cycle to 74.29%. The average value of student learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle of 65.58 increased to 76.67 in the second cycle. Pupils who reach a value ? 65 on the first cycle as many as 11 people or 45.83%. In the second cycle increased to 22 oarng or 91.67%. Thus, learning with jigsaw models on the subjects of Islamic religious education can be used in class V SDN 21 / III Koto Patah.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the results obtained studying mathematics students is still low. This study aims to determine whether there are differences between the results of learning math using active learning methods Tournament type Learning and Learning Contract type class X MAN KajaiWest Pasaman. This type of research is an experimental research. The population in this study were students of class X MAN Kajai West Pasaman Academic Year 2010-2011. The sampling technique is done randomly selected as a sample class is a class X.A as an experimental class I and class II X.B as an experimental class. The instrument used in this study is the achievement test. The test form used is the form of an essay by the reliability of the test is r_11 = 0.69. Data analysis technique used is test two parties at ? = 0.05 with the help of MINITAB software. Based on the results of data analysis known that both classes of normally distributed and homogene ous samples. The results of the hypothesis test obtained P- Value equal to 0,031 means smaller than ? = 0.05, then the hypothesis in this study received. It can be concluded that there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes of students who use active learning methods Tournament type Learning and Learning Contract Class X MAN Kajai West Pasaman.Key word s: Active Learning, Learning Tournament,Contract Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine Mapping General Fuel Filling stations (SPBU)in the city of Padang. Research methods used in this research is descriptive research method, the research subject is every SPBU in the city of Padang. Sampling is done by total sampling by finding the coordinates of every SPBU in the city of Padang. Data used primary data by conducting a survey of spaciousness direct and apply directly using GIS to describe the phenomena that exist in the field. Research is found that 1) a filling station in the city of Padang consists of 26 units. Located in 11 districts. 26 SPBU consists of 24 types Pasti Pas and 2 types Pertamina Way. 2) Distribution SPBU in the city of Padang wear elongated pattern, (Linear Concenration) that follow the main road due to SPBU for their effect on the road network. 3) The distance every SPBU in the city of Padang is different from one filling station to the other gas stations. It could even be said to be very close distance. As the SPBU to SPBU Didong Khatib Sulaiman PT. Karya Putra Muda Indonesia that did not reach 1 Km namely 732 meter.4) The location of SPBU in the city of Padang accidentally created two currents that flow in the left and right cross, and the current in opposite directions. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keragaman gaya bahasa yang digunakan oleh seseorang untuk berkomunikasi dan menyatakan pikiran, perasaan, pendapat, ide dan gagasan, baik dalam bentuk ujaran (lisan) maupun dalam bentuk tulisan.Gaya bahasa yang digunakan oleh pemakai bahasa menggunakan gaya bahasa yang indah dan menarik, khususnya pasambahan. Fokus masalah penelitian ini adalah gayabahasa pasambahanmanjapuik marapulaidi Desa Sungai Liku. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan secara detail dan jelas tentang gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam pasambahan manjapuik marapulai di Desa Sungai Liku. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Objek penelitiannya adalah naskah pasambahan manjapuik marapulai yang sebelumnya ditranskripsikan dari hasil rekaman pasambahan manjapuik marapulai. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu orang yang terlibat langsung dalam pasambahan. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dibantu dengan camera digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dan teknik pengumpulan data, metodenya adalah metode simak, sementara teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah teknik simak bebas libat cakapdan teknik rekam. Berdasarkan interpretasi data yang telah peneliti lakukan terhadap pasambahan manjapuik marapulai di Desa Sungai Liku Kenagarian Pelangai Kecamatan Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, ditemukan beberapa jenis gaya bahasa. Pertama, gaya bahasa perbandingan sebanyak 3 jenis. Kedua, gaya bahasa pertentangan sebanyak 2 jenis. Ketiga, gaya bahasa perulangan terdiri dari gaya bahasa aliterasi ditemukan sebanyak 1 buah

Abstract

Sebelum berdirinya PT.BPSJ-SS1 kondisi mata pencaharian masyarakat masih tergantung pada alam seperti bertani, berladang dan mencari rotan di hutan, kondisi pendapatan masyarakat masih tidak tetap dan pendapatan masyarakat masih sangat kurang dan belum cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Peneliti melihat perkembangan sejak berdirinya PT.BPSJ-SS1 mata pencaharian masyarakat telah mempunyai mata pencaharian tetap yaitu bekerja di PT.BPSJ-SS1, pendapatan masyarakat selain bekerja di PT.BPSJ-SS1 mempunyai pendapatan tetap dan juga menggarap perkebunan sendiri seperti sawit dan karet sebagai pendapatan tambahan.Sehubungan uraian di atas, sejak berdirinya perusahaan perkebunan PT.BPSJ-SS1 salah satu perkebunan kelapa sawit yang berada di daerah Kanagarian Abai Kecamatan Sangir Batang Hari Kabupaten Solok Selatan Propinsi Sumatera Barat. Tentu memiliki pengaruh terhadap perekonomian masyarakat disekitar lokasi perkebunan PT.BPSJ-SS1 tersebut. Perubahan yang terjadi akibat berdirinya perkebunan kelapa sawit akan menimbulkan hal-hal positif atau sebaliknya.
