Abstract

This research began from issues of the low Problem solving skills abilities students of class X SMAN Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.This research is aimed to reveal the effect of PBI models in problem solving skills students ability started from high, medium and low, as well as the interaction between the model and the learning ability of students in influencing early problem-solving abilities and students mathematical creative thinking. This research is a quasi experimental design of The Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this research is all students of class X SMAN Pesisir Selatan. The sampling technique used is Random Sampling. Samples of this research are the students of class X SMAN 2 Lengayang in the class X.4 as the experimental class and class X.1 as the control class. The instrument used is a test consists of beginning capabilities test and Posttest to see the problem-solving ability. Data analysis was performed using t-test and ANAVA two ways for interaction.There are some conclusions that can be acquired based on the results of research and discussion. First, the students which use PBI have higher problem solving skills than students that use the conventional learning. Second, problem solving high ability students that using PBI model of learning higher than students using the conventional learning.Third, the starting students mathematical problem solving ability is medium and the students which use PBI higher than students using conventional learning. Fourth, the mathematical problem solving ability of low level students that use PBI models less than students using the conventional learning.Fifth, there is no interaction between the model of learning and the prior knowledge of students in influencing the problem solving mathematical.Keywords : Problem Based Instruction(PBI), Problem Solving, Kemampuan Awal.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by the method of actual learning in the subject of Islamic religious education in the fourth grade SDN 123 / III Hamlet DalamJenis this research is classroom action research with the research subjects fourth grade students of SDN 123 / III Hamlet In totaling 22 people , The object of this research is the implementation and the results obtained from the application of the actual method of learning. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of learning with actual learning methods to improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 123 / III Hamlet In. Increasing the learning process with the actual method of learning on student activity first cycle of 53.82% increased in the second cycle into 68.18%. and the third cycle into 78.01%. The average value of student learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle of 64.55 increased to 73.64 in the second cycle and the third cycle into 79.55. Students who achieve a value ? 65 on the first cycle as many as 14 people or 63.64%. In the second cycle increased to 17 people, or 72.27%, and the third cycle to 20 people or 100% have been completed in the study. Thus, learning the actual methods of learning on the subjects of Civics can be used in class IV SDN 123 / III Hamlet In.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal konstribhusi Designing Capability Study and Work Motivation Against Efektigitas Learning Lecturer STKIP-PGRI Sumatera Barat. There are three hypotheses proposed in the research are: 1) To contribute capabilities designed an study of the effectiveness of teaching faculty PGRI-STKIP West Sumatra, 2) The contribution of work motivation on the effectiveness of learning lecturer PGRI-STKIP Sumatera Barat, 3) The contribution of the capability of designing learning and motivation to work together towards the effectiveness of learning lecturer PGRI-STKIP Sumatera Barat.This study uses a total sampling involving subjects were 71 lecturers. They are professors and lecturers PNSD Foundation. Data were collected through questionnaires and student grades. The data collected is then analyzed statistically using correlation and regression analysis.Results of the analysis showed that: (1) The ability to design learning has a significant contribution to the effectiveness of learning lecturer PGRI-STKIP West Sumatra amounted to 35.5%, 2) Motivation has a significant contribution to the effectiveness of the learning faculty lecturer PGRI-STKIP Sumatera Barat amounted to 42.4%, 3) ability to design pembelajarn and motivation to work together to have a significant contribution to the teaching faculty efektivtais STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat amounting to 63.2%. Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that the ability to design learning and motivation are two factors which contribute to the effectiveness of learning lecturer STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk menyebabkan kebutuhan akan lahan semakin meningkat. Penduduk mengalami pertambahan tetapi luas lahan tetap. Pertambahan penduduk mengakibatkan kebutuhan akan permukiman semakin meningkat sementara itu lahan memiliki keterbatasan merupakan hal yang mendasari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik-karakteristik lahan untuk permukiman serta mengevaluasi kelas kesesuaian lahan. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif. Sampel diambil berdasarkan satuan lahan, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu stratified random sampling. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey lapangan, uji laboratorium, pengharkatan/ pembobotan pada setiap karakteristik lahan sehingga menghasilkan tingkat kesesuaian lahan untuk permukiman dan tumpang susun peta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Kenagarian Painan terdapat tiga bentuklahan yaitu fluvial, vulkanik dan marin. Berdasarkan hasil analisis karakteristik kesesuaian lahan (drainase, permeabilitas, kemiringan lereng, lamanya genangan banjir, tekstur tanah, sebaran bahan kasar, singkapan batuan induk, kedalaman hamparan batuan dan kedalaman air tanah) terdapat tiga kelas kesesuaian lahan di Kanagarian Painan yaitu lahan sesuai untu permukiman (11 ha), lahan cukup sesuai untuk permukiman (349 ha), dan lahan kurang sesuai untuk permukiman (8 ha)

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to reveal the students' mathematical reasoning abilities after being given treatment metacognitive learning strategies. The research is a pre-experimental study design Randomized Control Group Only Design. Sampling was conducted using random sampling techniques so chosen as an experimental class is a class XI IPS 2 and a control class is the class XI IPS 1. The research instrument is a student activity observation sheet and test students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Data analysis was performed using the t test with significance level ? = 0.05. Based on t test was done, obtained t = 1.9155 and table = 1.69 it is seen that thitung> ttabel means to reject H0 and accept H1. So it can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning skills students learn better metacognitive learning strategies than students who studied with conventional strategies in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Talamau West Pasaman academic year 2016/2017

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dan komunikasi matematis setelah menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual (CTL). Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa VIII1 yang terdaftar pada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah siswa 17 orang. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual pada materi Lingkaran dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di kelas VIII SMPN 44 Sijunjung. Aktivitas siswa mencatat hasil diskusi kelompok/membuat kesimpulan, dan melakukan kegiatan yang relevan mencapai kategori baik sekali. Aktivitas siswa mencatat hal-hal yang penting/intisari dari materi pembelajaran, mengajukan pertanyaan kepada guru, bertanya/memberi penjelasan kepada teman dalam kelompok belajar, dan mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok mencapai kategori baik. Aktivitas siswa merespon/ menjawab pertanyaan guru/ memberikan tanggapan dan aktivitas siswa menyelidiki/ membaca/ mencermati/ menemukan solusi LKS mencapai kategori baik. Nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang diperoleh adalah mencapai 81,15 dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa mencapai 82%.

Abstract

assessment tool that used in the form paper and pencil test has not been able to assess students ability for whole. The purpose this study is to produce assesment tool based on class for bangun ruang sisi datar which is valid,practical and effective. The tool is expected to assess students ability for whole.The research conducted was a kind of research and development using a 4-D model consists of four stages, namely: 1) define, 2) design, 3) development, and 4) dissemination. Mathematics education, elementary education, and language experts examined the validation of the tool. The tool practicality was investigated by observing the lesson, filling questionnaire by the student, and conducting interviews with the students and teachers. The tool effectiveness was know from the learning activities and learning outcomes of the students. Finally, the data collected was analyzed descriptively.The result of the research showed that bangun ruang sisi datar tool generated is valid in terms of content and construct for the grade eighth junior high school students. The tool is practical as well since it is easy, clear, and can be used without problems. It can be concluded that the assesment tool based on classbangun ruang sisi datar is valid, practical, and effective.Kata kunci: perangkat penilaian, penilaian berbasis kelas, ,materi bangun ruang sisi datar

Abstract

Learning achievement listening class IX students of SMPN 14 Kerinci still lacking. This is demonstrated by the average school had only reached 40%. Lack of learning outcomes is likely caused by several factors, among others: (1) the lack of learning techniques applied, (2) the absence of factors supporting the activities of listening, (3) lack of competence of teachers in implementing pembelajaranmenyimak, and (4) the lack of quality of the activities of listening to students , Hence the need for the study of learning to listen .. This classroom action research conducted with the aim of improving listening skills A speech class IX students of SMPN 14 Kerinci.Penelitian conducted three cycles. Implementation of the action taken is to apply keywords learning, (1) determine the major issues in the speech, (2) determine the content of the speech, (3) concluding message speech, (4) comment on the content of the speech with a logical reason and language was polite. Data collected by the analysis fortopolio student, teacher observation, student observation and questionnaires. The conclusion of this study is over the cycle I, II, III, can be summarized as follows: (1) the number of students who have the ability to determine the subject matter of speech increased (49.20% - 76.80%), (2) the number of students which has the ability to determine the content of the speech is increased (49.60% - 76.00%), (3) the number of students who have the ability to conclude the speech messages increased (50.68% - 74.80%), (4) the number of students has the ability commenting on the speech with a logical reason and language was polite increased (52.80% - 71.40%). The results of teacher observation and observation of students during learning activities taking place increases.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative reasearch was done in order to find out the development strategy for Sumedang Beach, a tourism site at Ranah Pesisir, Pesisir Selatan District. It was found that the maintenance of public facility around the beach was not mananaged as well as it should be. The accomodation was not enough provided. Moreover, the villagers did not have awareness toward tourism value of their environment. These facts were the bottom line reasons why the researcher conducted this research. The data was obtained by using observation, interview and documentation which were done with Tourism Ministry, Bappeda, villagers and their leaders. The data was analyzed by using SWOT Analysis (Strengths,Weaknes,Opportunities and Threats). The result of the research shown that Pesisir Selatan District need to do: 1) A Counseling for improving and enhancing villagerss awareness about the importance of an awaranesess toward tourism site;2) A Coordination with private sector to obtain an income;3) A Development toward tourism attractions; 4) An Improvement of public facility;5) A Development for tourisms accessibility.Keywords: the development strategy, tourism site, sumedang beach
