Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding differences between the leadership styles of Ahok and Anies Baswedan when he resigned as Governor of DKI Jakarta, by applying a comparative research method. Sources of data in this study were obtained from primary data through literature studies in various reading sources. Based on the research results, information was obtained that there were significant differences between the two figures in leading the capital city, where Ahok tended to use an authoritarian leadership style and Anies Baswedan applied a more democratic leadership style.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menemukan perbedaan antara gaya kepemimpinan Ahok dan Anies Baswedan ketika menjabat sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta, dengan menerapkan metode penelitian komparatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari data primer melalui studi literatur di berbagai sumber bacaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa adanya perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara kedua tokoh tersebut dalam memimpin ibukota, yang mana Ahok cenderung menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan otoriter dan Anies Baswedan lebih menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that shows that there is great attention to learning tahfidz Alquran in formal, non-formal and informal education channels. Various efforts have been made to create memorizers of the Alquran so that there are those who make learning tahfidz Alquran a superior or mandatory extracurricular program, namely at the Ar-Risalah Islamic College and Islamic Boarding School in Minangkabau Village, in Padang. The limitations of the problem in this study are how to plan tahfidz Alquran learning, how to implement tahfidz Alquran learning and how to evaluate learning tahfidz Alquran at Islamic boarding schools in Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning strategies for tahfidz Alquran in the aspects of lesson planning, implementation of learning and evaluation of tahfidz Alquran learning at Islamic boarding schools in Padang. This study succeeded in finding i) Learning planning for tahfidz Alquran at Ar-Risalah Islamic College and Islamic Boarding School in the Minangkabau village of Padang, namely formulation learning objectives, preparation of students, preparation of educators, preparation of materials, methods, media and learning resources as well environment. ii) Implementation of learning tahfidz Alquran at the Ar-Risalah Islamic College and Islamic Boarding School in the Minangkabau village , namely the implementation of learning objectives as evidenced by the seriousness of student, the arrangement of materials, methods, use of media and learning resources along conditions of the learning environment. iii) Evaluation of learning tahfidz Alquran at Ar-Risalah Islamic College and Islamic Boarding Schools at Minangkabau villages is carried by way of formative evaluation, which is carried out at the end of the semester and the of the year, summative evaluation is carried out at each meeting and reporting of learning result at the end of each year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine problem solving in Islam and its urgency with PAI learning. This research was conducted because problem solving is important in all aspects of life, especially in education. Studies on problem solving have been widely discussed in scientific studies, but researchers wish to present problem solving from an Islamic point of view by involving the Qur'an. The research question posed is about how to solve problem in Islam? and what is the urgency of PAI learning? The research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a literature study research method. Data was collected by examining the content of verses related to problem solving and various other related literature. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and presented descriptively to answer research questions. The results of this study state that in the Qur'an there are various ways that can be done to do problem solving. Problem solving is very important to do in PAI learning by using the methods offered in the Qur'an because PAI learning is actually integrated with all problems in aspects of life.

Abstract

The use of appropriate media in learning is very necessary for teachers in the learning process. Teachers are required to use interesting and fun media so that learning objectives can be achieved. However, in the learning process, many problems arise between teachers who do not master technology. One thing that can be used to overcome this problem is to hold Canva application training for teachers. This research aims to determine the level of teacher enthusiasm in participating in training activities and their potential in developing digital-based teaching materials. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach by distributing questionnaires to teachers. The questionnaire was designed to measure the level of teacher satisfaction with training activities and their potential in developing digital-based teaching materials. To determine the achievements of this activity, data collection was carried out through two forms of instruments in the form of teacher peer assessment sheets and training participant satisfaction. The results of this research show that 79% of teachers who took part in the training were satisfied and greatly helped by the Canva application in learning. Each indicator that reflects the four forms of competence of the implementing team including pedagogical, professional, personality and social competence is considered successful in achieving the objectives of this training, namely so that teachers can utilize presentation media equipped with audio-visual content to convey lesson material to students. So that learning and teaching activities will become more varied and enjoyable. The findings of this research have important implications in the learning context at Maluku Advent High School. Apart from that, these findings also support the importance of training and professional development for teachers in adopting innovative learning technology

Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still administrative staff members who lack understanding of proper record management, the presence of administrative staff members who do not complete the management of records, and the limitations of facilities and infrastructure, particularly in the field of records management, at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Solok Selatan. The objectives of this research are to determine the stages of record management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Solok Selatan, to understand the supervision process of the head of administration in record management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Solok Selatan, and to identify the challenges faced by the administration in supervising record management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Solok Selatan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study are the head of administration and administrative staff. The results of this research indicate that the stages of record management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Solok Selatan consist of five stages. The stages are as follows: first, the Creation and Receipt stage; second, the Distribution stage; third, the Utilization stage; fourth, the Maintenance stage; and fifth, the Disposal stage. The supervision process of the head of administration in record management includes the following: first, the Establishment of Standards stage; second, the Determination of Implementation Measurement/Performance Measurement stage; and third, the Action Taking stage. The challenges faced by the head of administration in supervising record management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Solok Selatan include the following: first, the presence of administrative staff members who do not complete the management of records; second, the lack of understanding among administrative staff members regarding proper record management; and third, the lack of facilities and infrastructure for records management.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain in simple terms the concept of independent learning offered by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) and its implementation in Islamic educational institutions. Free Learning Education is a response to the needs of the education system in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the main need to be achieved in the education system or more specifically in learning methods, namely students or students, is mastery of new literacy. The new literacy is First, data literacy. Second, technological literacy. Finally, human literacy. In addition, the Free Learning Education system also prioritizes character education. This article uses library research. With data sources from journals, research reports, scientific magazines, newspapers, relevant books, results of seminars, unpublished scientific articles, sources, bibliographical letters, and so on. So in this study, learning methods in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 can determine the success of learning because one of the characteristics of the concept of education 4.0 is the position of students as educational subjects (student centered), integration of material and teaching and learning processes (PBM) with the demands of modern knowledge, society and the world of work. And the methods used vary, but in the independent education system learning the Blended Learning method is ideal as a learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to summarize and describe how the principal's strategy in increasing teacher motivation. The method used in writing this scientific article is to use qualitative methods and literature review (Library Research). School principals have a big role to play in the formation of qualified teachers, by providing encouragement, direction, motivation, coaching and supervision that will ultimately improve their performance. School productivity is not only to get as much work as possible, but the quality for work is very important to note. The principal as a manager is required to provide motivation to his subordinates, namely teachers as implementers of education and teaching in schools.
