Abstract

Technology is one of the fields heavily influenced by rapid developments, undergoing significant changes each year. One of the technologies affected is data transmission. Data transmission faces its own challenges, and each region encounters different constraints in their connections, such as the distance of data delivery. In this regard, expanding the data delivery range is crucial to optimize connections and system performance. The use of LoRaWAN for sensor monitoring in IoT devices is designed to transmit data over a wide area with low power consumption and long-term usability, thus overcoming these issues. Data collection in this study utilizes the technique of measuring RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator), SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio), and LoRa's time interval, considering distance and location parameters at Politeknik Negeri Malang and its surrounding areas. Locations chosen include each floor of the Civil Engineering building to obtain data parameters like RSSI, SNR, and time intervals, which improve when the distance between the transmitting LoRa node and the LoRa gateway gets closer. After conducting tests, it was found that using a 35 dBi antenna outperforms a 10 dBi antenna in data transmission. This was evidenced by the RSSI values approaching 0 from floor 8 to 1 in the Civil Engineering building of Politeknik Negeri Malang. Additionally, the use of a 35 dBi antenna resulted in a 50% faster data transmission compared to the 10 dBi antenna. LoRaWAN technology, particularly The Things Network, can be employed to manage LoRa. However, similar technologies like Chripstack can also be used to manage LoRaWAN more flexibly on the local network

Abstract

Junior high school is one of the organizations whose business processes involve teaching and learning activities under the principal's responsibility. SMP ABC is a junior high school that continually strives to improve the quality of education, one of which is its academic services. However, the process of storing and processing data at SMP ABC still uses Microsoft word and Microsoft excel. Hence, the data management process is not good and allows a lot of errors in processing academic data. The academic information system is a system that can help solve the problem of errors in data processing and make the educational service process better and more effective. So SMP ABC also needs to implement an academic information system. The results of this study are to analyze and design educational information systems using the OOAD method using UML (Unified Modeling Language) tools with several diagrams, including use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, and ERD, to facilitate academic data management and improve efficiency and effectiveness so that management data on SPM ABC can be computerized appropriately.

Abstract

Indonesia has a rich diversity of animals, but the lack of media to introduce endangered species from various regions such as Java, Sulawesi, Bali, NTT and Kalimantan has led to a lack of awareness of their existence, which has led to the threat of extinction. The purpose of this research is to produce an Android application that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) technology to introduce endangered species. The MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method is used in this analysis, which consists of 6 stages: concept, design, collection of materials, assembly, testing, and finally distribution. The Unity Engine is used as the basis for Android applications. Augmented Reality (AR) is an effective learning tool for early childhood education, especially in the realm of endangered species education. In addition to introducing rare animals, the app will include quizzes as part of the game to increase knowledge about these animals.

Abstract

Judging from daily activities, human beings heavily rely on the internet for communication purposes. and exchange information using either social media applications or browsers, vonsistently fast internet speeds are incredibly beneficial for performing tasks and activities, particularly for students and professionals. A sluggish internet connection can be frustrating and may lead to interruptions in online activities and tasks if it persists. Hence, this study examines a comparative evaluation of two approaches, Per Connection Classifier (PCC) and Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP) in Load Balancing through GNS3 simulation. Load balancing, as a method for evenly distributing traffic loads, and failover, as a backup mechanism when the main connection experiences problems. GNS3 is a graphical network simulator program that can transmit more complex network topologies compared to other simulators, for example Cisco Packet Tracer. The primary aim of this study is to comprehend how efficiently both techniques distribute traffic loads, maintaining smooth internet access, and increasing reliability. The PCC method produces better throughput, delay and jitter compared to the ECMP method, even though it has slightly different values for each QoS parameter. In testing traffic distribution, the PCC method outperforms the ECMP method. The PCC method can distribute traffic evenly across both ISP lines when downloading and uploading data packets. Meanwhile, the ECMP method can only carry out download and upload activities on one traffic path.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve clothing marketing at Irma Collection with Bootstrap 3 because Irma Collection does not have a means or system to spread its products. Customers must come directly to the store, this causes customers to ask first about detailed information about the product so that it is less effective because there is no facility that helps customers to find out information about the product. Irma Collection really needs improvement, namely the construction of a system in order to provide good service and satisfy customer interest and make it easier for owners to recap reports on goods sold. With the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, it is expected that Irma Collection will be easier to attract many customers and maintain customer interest to become regular customers at Irma Collection.

Abstract

A certainty factor (CF) rule-based technique is frequently used by traditional expert systems (TES) in the medical industry to compute several symptoms and identify the inference solutions. The primary concern for this TES was predicting the likelihood of a particular ailment in the circumstances of new patients. Based on symptoms connected to clinical indicators in patients' diagnosis, CF is estimated. This TES probably won't be able to forecast unknown things, like the possibility of a particular ailment. Therefore, supervised learning techniques like linear regression can address this issue. We attempted to analyze the current COVID-19 TES by modeling the regression equation to forecast the chance of a particular disease that is COVID-like based on the CF value and the confidence level of the symptoms. To examine the most effective regression model to address the issue, we employed multi-linear regression (MLR) and multi-polynomial regression (MPR). The findings demonstrate that the MLR and MPR models are the most accurate regression models for estimating the chance of a disease associated with COVID-like symptoms. Our work built a basis for the creation of expert systems by concentrating more on MLES (machine learning expert systems) analytical techniques than TES.
