Abstract

The Banyubiru Natural Site is a tourist spot that has the potential to be used as a sources of historical learning. As a tourist spot, this place holds historical relics which are very important to be integrated into history learning in schools. The reasearcher considers that writing this research is important with the aim of knowing the potential of the Banyubiru Natural Site as local historical content in history learning. This research uses historical methods with four stages of vastu heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of the research show that local history plays an important role so that students can to properly appreciate the development of their society in the past up to the present that occurred in their own environment. The Banyubiru Natural Site as local historical content is really needed to be integrated in learning because the site is in accordance with the scope of material in history learning which has been determined in the independent curriculum, namely in phase E class X which is related to material on “The Entry of Hindu-Buddhist Religion and Culture in Indonesia”.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum  (Merdeka) in history learning at State Senior High Schools (SMA Negeri) 1 Purbolinggo. The type of research conducted in this study is field research. Field research is research carried out in real-life settings. The field research in this study specifically refers to research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo, focusing on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in history learning. The results of the research on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo include planning, execution, evaluation, and challenges in the learning process. The planning phase involves training, guidance, in-house training workshops (IHT), and the preparation of learning tools. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in history learning includes introductory activities, main activities, and closing, with teachers conducting lessons based on the prepared learning tools. The evaluation covers both summative and formative assessments, and evaluations are conducted comprehensively for every school program. The challenges in history learning at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo include low student motivation and a lack of adequate technological facilities, such as LCDs and projectors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on critical thinking skills in history learning. This research was carried out at State Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 1 Gunung Sugih in February, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used in this research is quasi-experimental. The research sample consisted of 31 students each in the control and experimental classes. The data collection technique used was an Essay Test in the form of 10 questions which were then analyzed using the t test. The results of hypothesis testing using SPSS version 22 software obtained Sig data <α, namely 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on critical thinking skills in history learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze  (1) How is the historical literacy movement of class historical literacy of students at State Senior High Schools 1 Gunung Sugih. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive analysis approach. The subjects used in this research were literature, the deputy principal for academic affairs, history teachers, students in classes X.1 and X.2 as well as other sources that were relevant and supported this research. This research uses observation data collection techniques, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research can be concluded (1) there are three stages in the historical literacy movement of class factors, namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors, (3) the school's efforts to increase students' historical literacy movement with support from the school community, teachers provide support or encouragement and motivation for historical literacy, teachers invite students to get to know historical sources, teachers use various interesting and creative learning strategies that support developing students' historical literacy in the historical literacy movement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explains the background to the political and economic relations between Indonesia and the Soviet Union, relations between Indonesia and the Soviet Union and describe the economic relations between Indonesia and the Soviet Union in 1959-1965. Describe the impact and political relations between Indonesia and the Soviet Union during the guided democracy period of 1959-1965. This research method uses detailed historical research and data collection stages, namely by collecting data through documentation studies and literature studies, carrying out data validity by testing or carrying out internal and external criticism of data sources, interpreting data, namely providing comments or conclusions on each quote, and writing. report (historiography) using Indonesian.The results of the research show that (1) The background to the establishment of relations between Indonesia and the Soviet Union was a form of concern and also for the sake of gaining allies, the Soviet Union had the initiative to support the sovereignty of the Indonesian State by discussing it at the UN forum (2) Political relations were established through cooperation in the field of military. (3) Economic cooperation relations in the form of loans and trade, (4) Political-economic impacts and relations are the forerunners of the Non-Aligned movement. economic development of the country, and increasing trade activities.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Analyze the history of the founding of the Congress Party and the Muslim League (2) Analyze the development of the Congress Party and the Muslim League (3) Analyze the struggle of the Congress Party and the Muslim League to achieve independence in India (4) Analyze the influence of the Congress Party and the League Muslim Muslims to achieve Independence in India in 1906-1947. This research uses historical methods. Data collection techniques were carried out using heuristic methods and literature studies. The findings of this research regarding the Influence of the Congress Party on the Muslim League in India in 1906-1947 show that the beginning of the founding of the Congress Party and the Muslim League was the result of their efforts in approaching British colonialism. However, in the process of development, the Congress Party and the Muslim League have encountered their own problems. In the end, the Congress Party and the Muslim League worked together to fight for independence in India from British rule and gave them the right to form their respective countries, namely India and Pakistan.
