Abstract

Coffee marketing in the third era was marked by symptoms that led to the synergy of the subsystems in the coffee agribusiness. This study aims to describe the indicators of coffee marketing in the third era in Kuningan Regency. This research uses descriptive method. The population consists of four elements, namely: coffee farmers, coffee processors, coffee presenters and coffee consumers. The sample size was determined intentionally, namely: 60 coffee farmers, 30 coffee processors, 15 coffee presenters and 50 coffee consumers. Research time during       August–November 2020. The results of the study conclude that the marketing of coffee in the third era in Kuningan Regency has not been synergized among the subsystems so that the indicators have not been fulfilled optimally, which results in the benefits/profit opportunities that exist in coffee agribusiness that have not been obtained proportionally. For this reason, a stronger synergy is needed between the agribusiness subsystems initiated by the local Plantation Service.

Abstract

Palm flour is the result of the processing production from the palm tree trunk. This study aims to determine labor productivity, the breakeven point of sales value, the breakeven point of production volume, and the cost of goods manufactured. The research method used is a case study at PT. AKS Gunung Wangi in Kertaharja Village, Cijeungjing District, Ciamis. Quantitative analysis tools used in this research are labor productivity, the break-even point of the sales value and production volume, and the cost of goods manufactured. Labor productivity is measured to determine the economic condition of the labor force of a business carried out, then the break-even point analysis is useful for knowing the relationship between sales value and production volume with prices and other costs, while determining the cost of goods manufactured aims to calculate the cost of using resources. economy in the production process. The results showed that the labor productivity in PT AKS Gunung Wangi's palm flour agroindustry was Rp. 351,562,50 / person working day for one production process. Processing of palm flour in one production process takes 4 days. The breakeven point of the sales value is Rp. 604,118.76 and a production volume of 80.55 kilograms with a production capacity of 1,200 kilograms. Abstract

Rancabolang Village, Gedebage Subdistrict, Bandung City is one of the sub-districts which in several RWs has carried out the cultivation of TOGA plants based on urban farming. However, in reality, the program has not run optimally because it has not been able to absorb all members to be able to play an active role. This study aims to determine the description of the implementation of the TOGA plant cultivation activity based on urban farming and the obstacles experienced by the community during its implementation. The data and information obtained is analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that TOGA cultivation activities in Rancabolang Village have not been able to get to the production stage to be used economically. This is because most of the harvest is only used by PKK group members and harvesting activities are not carried out routinely when it reaches harvest time. There are 4 aspects of the constraints discussed in this study. In terms of the constraints on TOGA cultivation, limited land is the main obstacle and another obstacle is the need for seeds. In the aspect of harvest constraints, unscheduled and irregular harvesting processes are the main obstacles. On the marketing aspect, the small amount of production is the main obstacle. In the organizational aspect, member participation is the main obstacle and another obstacle is the routine meeting activities to discuss TOGA cultivation.

Abstract

Mango fruit is one of the seasonal fruit groups that have the potential to be processed into processed products. The processing process is one of solution when the selling price of fruit is low during the harvest season and a lot of the harvest is wasted because it is stored too long. Raw materials that have run into a change in value can be estimated how much their value is. So the purpose of this study is to describe the background of the formation of the processed mango fruit strips from Frutivez and to analyze the added value of these products. The research design used is to use a quantitative design of case studies with the interview method. Data analysis was carried out by using the added value analysis of the Hayami method. The results showed that in one production process the added value obtained by the product was IDR 5,000 / kg with a ratio of 11%, where every IDR 100 the value of the mango fruit strips product contained an added value of IDR 11.

Abstract

For farmers, the partnership relationship has great benefits, which are relatively stable with market certainty. While the benefits for partners are the certainty of obtaining raw materials in accordance with the required specifications. Using a qualitative description method, this paper aims to examine and present the conditions and institutional performance of the processing industry partnership in the marketing of horticultural products. Market certainty is the hope and main goal of farmers in pursuing each of their farming activities, in addition to obtaining maximum yields of course. Various agro-industry business actors, directly or indirectly in the procurement of raw materials, mostly still come from traders/suppliers. In a cooperative partnership relationship, farmer groups / farmer group associations are more burdened with obligations while their rights are still limited. The benefits of studying marketing partnership institutions and their development perspectives related to efforts to accelerate and implement agribusiness development to improve the welfare of their farmers, of course, are needed, especially as a liaison between farmers and users of their farm products. The perspective of partnership development is still very open, among others due to: (a) both parties obtain mutually beneficial benefits; (b) demand for processed products is increasing along with population growth. Institutional partnerships act as partners to market farm production in a wider and varied range. The partners are indicated to continue to provide the opportunity to sell to the free market if the price is better.

Abstract

Soybean is a consumption material for the food processing industry, one of products is tofu and one of the most abundant and continuously produced throughout the year. The production of tofu in Garut Regency is also carried out by enterprises with different formulations even though the technicalities and raw materials are the same. The need for soybeans can be viewed from their use as raw material by industry, the number of enterprises and the amount of soybeans used in each production to the total amount of soybeans that must be available. The current problem is that the fulfillment of soybeans is carried out through imports by the government and a small part is met from domestic production, however, government policy continues to strive to increase food production including soybeans to reduce dependence on imported soybeans. Garut Regency is one of the second largest soybean producers in West Java. This study aims to determine the use, differences in the composition of soybeans for each craftsman in the processing, as well as the fluctuation in the amount of soybean needs used by the enterprises in Garut Regency for one year. The research used quantitative descriptive analysis method which presented the research data which were described descriptively according to the field results. This study concludes that the need for soybeans cannot be replaced by local soybeans due to limited supply of quantity and time, other than that local soybeans are used for mixtures because of their superiority in increasing the number of products, then the supply of soybeans should be seen based on a certain period, not on a total annual basis because of fluctuations in demand. due to community habits and national and religious holidays.
