Abstract

Kawasan agrowisata Kampung Pasirangling memiliki daya tarik agrowisata tersendiri bagi para pengujungnya seperti agrowisata pupuk feses sapi, biji kopi kemasan, permen karamel, dan minuman honje. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan karakteristik pengunjung dan perilaku berkunjung dari pengunjung agrowisata Kampung Pasirangling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survei kepada 15 pengunjung dan wawancara mendalam dengan key informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pengunjung agrowisata Kampung Pasirangling didominasi oleh remaja laki-laki dan perempuan dalam rentang usia 17-25 tahun yang sebagian besarnya merupakan mahasiswa/i perguruan tinggi dari luar Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Dari segi perilaku berkunjung, pengunjung paling banyak memperoleh informasi mengenai Kampung Pasirangling dari teman lalu pengunjung yang merasa puas mempromosikannya kepada teman-temannya yang lain lalu bersama-sama melakukan kunjungan sehingga kebanyakan dari mereka sudah pernah berkunjung sebelumnya. Mayoritas pengunjung melakukan kunjungan untuk kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan wisata alam terutama berkemah. Ada juga yang bertujuan untuk pendidikan agrowisata seperti agrowisata hutan lindung, pupuk feses sapi dan pohon tegakan namun persentasenya masih kecil.

Abstract

Fulfilling the needs of 67.99 percent of soybeans must be imported from abroad. To overcome the deficit in soybean production, the Indonesian government has pursued various soybean development programs. The research was carried out with the aim of: (1) Analyzing the effect of using production factors both simultaneously and partially on soybean farming in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency, (2) Analyzing the technical efficiency of soybean farming in paddy fields and land land in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The research method used in this study is an explanatory survey method by taking cases on soybean farming in Jatiwaras District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Samples were taken using Multistage Cluster Random Sampling, then a sample of 127 people was obtained from a population of 185 soybean farmers from two randomly selected villages (Jatiwaras and Papayan Villages), from 11 soybean center villages that planted in rice fields and land agro-ecosystems (Kaputihan, Neglasari). , Sukakerta, Setiawangi, Papayan, Jatiwaras, Ciwarak, Kersagalih, Kertarahayu, Mandalamekar, Mandalahurip). The analysis used for technical efficiency and determining the production factors that directly affect the resulting production output is the Cobb-Douglas stochastic frontier production function. The results of this study indicate that there is one variable that significantly influences the level of soybean production, namely fertilizer, Meanwhile, the variables of land area, seeds, pesticides and labor, meanwhile there are two variables that significantly influence the level of soybean production, namely land area and labor, seeds, fertilizers, and insignificant pesticides. Soybean farmers both on land and rice fields are in stage III (Irrational Stage). The average value of Technical Efficiency (TE) Allocative Efficiency (AE) and Economic Efficiency (EE) in paddy fields is 99.97 TE, 62.68 AE and 62.68 EE while the average values of Technical Efficiency, Allocative Efficiency and Efficiency The economists in rice fields are 21.35 TE, 19.42 AE and 19.42 EE. This value shows that soybean farming on land is more efficient in terms of TE, AE and EE tilapia

Abstract

In this research, the authors will propose several appropriate strategies for strengthening the Ngudi Raharjo III Farmer Group in Lemberang Village, Sokaraja District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The proposed strategy will be compiled based on IFE and EFE analysis, SWOT, and QSPM analysis to get the strongest strategy and can be a top priority to be implemented in strengthening the empowerment of farmer groups. This research is expected to provide the right solution to empower and maximize the potential of farmer groups so that the benefits can be felt for all group members. After identifying external and internal factors, the next strategy analysis is a SWOT strategy analysis. As the resulting strategy from the SWOT analysis for strengthening the Ngudi Raharjo III Farmer Group, a QSPM produced a priority strategy from the existing strategy. Assistance by agricultural experts from Jenderal Soedirman University was the main strategy and a priority to be carried out with the highest Sum Total Attractiveness Scores (STAS) among other strategies on QSPM Analysis, amounting to 6.91.

Abstract

Food is the most basic and foremost human need, whose adequacy and quality determine the level of intelligence and quality of human resources. One of the important and strategic aspects of agriculture can be seen from the national/regional contribution (GDP/GDPR). Agriculture remains the main priority for development policies in Indonesia, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, which is still endemic today. This paper, which is a review of various information data and related literature, aims to present various levels of technology application, levels of technical efficiency in various agro-ecosystems, which are presented in a qualitative deductive manner. The occurrence of the global financial crisis (for the short term) and climate change (for the long term) as well as national disasters (for example the Covid 19 pandemic) resulted in a weakening of the economy, especially its growth, increased unemployment, and decreased purchasing power. This condition causes access to food to decline, so that food security is predicted to be more vulnerable. It is necessary to provide technology and information according to needs, adequate government and operational policy tools, the functioning of various supporting institutions (research, extension, marketing) that are more focused and take sides in accelerating the achievement of location-specific technological innovations. This is the right strategy for fulfilling national food. Evaluation of agricultural development policies from the aspect of food institutions is needed as a strategy and measures for the accuracy of policy formulation in supporting future increases in national rice production.

Abstract

Marketing activities carried out by mango farmers can be influenced by various factors. These factors include social factors and economic factors. The purpose of this study was to identify social factors, economic factors and mango marketing subsystems in Cikedung and Japara sub-districts and to analyze the influence of social and economic factors on mango marketing in both areas. This study uses a survey method to 260 mango farmers in Cikedung and Japara sub-districts. The analytical tools used in this research are descriptive statistis analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the variables of social and economic factors in the two sub-districts were in good condition. Meanwhile, in mango marketing, Cikedung sub-district is relatively better than Japara sub-district. Social factors have a significant effect on mango marketing in Cikedung sub-district, while the economic factors have no effect. In the district of Japara sub-district, social and economic factors have no effect on mango marketing.

Abstract

Many parties such as business people have used technological developments to facilitate their marketing activities. The technology that is often used in marketing, especially in the promotional aspect, is social media instagram. One of the business players who use Instagram as a promotional media is Kojama Shop, an online shop that sells avocado butter and other local fruits. This report is written with objective of knowing the advertising effectiveness of social media instagram Kojama Shop. The sampling technique used to research was convenience sampling on Kojama Shop active followers. This research used AIDA model method which consists of four dimensions; attention, interest, desire, and action. The results prove that the advertisement on Kojama Shop instagram is considered very effective with a value of 4.337 for the attention dimension, 4.26 for the interest dimension, and 4.277 for the desire dimension. Meanwhile, it was considered effective with a value of 4.117for the action dimension. The improvement recommendations for the action dimension are to develop and provide innovations in promotional methods to increase consumer confidence in making purchases. The results of this study also prove that the overall value of the AIDA is considered very effective with an AIDA Rate value of 4.248.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inequality of availability with the needs of Cipangarangan irrigation water. Farmers using water are proposing to revitalize the irrigation. Based on this background, the objectives of this study are a) to estimate the value of economic benefits from irrigation revitalization; b) analysis of ability (ATP) and willingness to pay WTP) of farmers for irrigation services, and c) knowing ATP and WTP of irrigation services with farmer characteristics. The method used is a mixed method research with primary and secondary data. Respondents were determined using proportional random sampling. The conclusions of the research results: a) Cipangarangan irrigation revitalization is predicted to increase the economic benefit value of Rp. 10,934,091,000 / year, originating from an increase in the net value of rice farming income of Rp. 7,707,231,000 and labor absorption equivalent to Rp. 3,226,860,000 / year. b) The average ATP for irrigation services is relatively smaller (Rp. 38,749) when compared to the average WTP (Rp. 71,195). This condition shows that the range of farmers' ability to pay for irrigation services is smaller than their willingness to pay (ATP <WTP). Conditions like this illustrate the courage of farmers to pay for irrigation services beyond their reach, the utility of irrigation services is relatively higher than the income of service users. This condition is called Captive riders.

Abstract

To overcome plastic waste, the Government of Indonesia has issued Presidential Regulation No. 83 of 2018. Also Bandung Regional Regulation No. 17 of 2018 on reducing the use of plastic bags. A number of strategies have been carried out but until now the implementation has not run optimally. Partners are empowered with training on the importance of green packaging to reduce plastic waste. It is hoped that if the partner has a cohesiveness in managing his business, a strong motivation in entrepreneurship, has a potential product to be marketed, know the green packaging and know the tarket of the green consumer consumer market, then improved the product to green products. Handling the environmental issues of the paper industry through the use of non-wood paper base material becomes an interesting thing by utilizing annual crops or agricultural plant residues to be used as the basic material of paper and pulp. Community service in Darmawangi village, Tomo District, Sumedang regency about green packaging began by giving the material "Socialization of Green Packaging for Mango Soap Products" to a group of women farmers in Darmawangi Village. The material was given online at the Food Security and Security Webinar on June 17, 2020, followed by material on entrepreneurial motivation. Evaluation of PPM activities on green packaging in Darmawangi Village showed good enthusiasm and the increase of about 75% understanding of environmentally friendly packaging.

Abstract

Food is the basic need of human beings, and to fulfill it is our right to secure food. Then lead to safe the food as better nutrition needs and lifestyle. Balck rice can meet both food safety and a healthy lifestyle. The research was conducted to investigate the correlation between agricultural extension role and farmer participation in black rice crops. The method used case study by the amount of sample by Yamane, Isaac, and Michel Formula accordingly. The collected data was primary and secondary data by direct questionnaire and literature study from internet and related institutions. Data analysis used Rank Spearman Test. The result showed a significant correlation and one direction deal with agricultural extension rule and farmer participation in black rice crops. The more agricultural extension rule, the more farmer participation in black rice crops. Black rice consumer was not as much as white rice. Black rice consumer refers to consume deal with healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Most young farmers in Cibodas Village, Lembang Sub-district are able to develop agriculture with modern patterns and keep up with technological developments. But, the farmer still running their agribusiness enterprises individually. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of young farmers as well as the correlation with group interest and to determine the level of interest of farmers towards farmers’ group. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using an aritmaticmean and rank spearman analysis tool, the selection of samples in this study is using a purposive sampling technique of 100 samples. The results of this study show that young farmers are dominated by male farmers aged 38-44 years, at most junior high school educated and have experience of farming no more than 10 years. Access to information obtained by farmers is easy to obtain and most of them have land no more than 2.88 hectares, 78 people from 100 farmers are not affiliated with farmer groups. The level of interest of farmers is in a low category. The correlation between the characteristics of farmers and interest towards farmers’ group has a positive correlation, with indicators of education, farming experience, access to information and land area.
