Abstract

Student center learning (SCL) is a paradigm emphasized in the learning approach in the Merdeka Curriculum. Furthermore, the Merdeka Curriculum highlights that differentiated learning must be carried out by teachers in conducting learning. In fact, inclusive madrasahs receive various types of obstacles for students with special needs have implemented differentiated learning with curriculum modifications for students with special needs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the SCL paradigm from the perspective of teachers in inclusive madrasah. The place of this research is MTs. Terpadu Ar-Roihan Lawang Malang which is an inclusive madrasah since 2014. Data were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Teachers in this madrasah have understood the SCL learning approach and the meaning of learning differentiation even though some teachers still use teacher center learning (TCL) as a learning approach that is more center on the teacher's authority. Interestingly, there is an interchange between TCL and SCL when teachers must deal with students in this inclusive madrasa

Abstract

Fundamentalism of the leadership of an educational institution will continue to give birth to new generations based on the basic concepts of education and teaching. Two well-known figures in Islamic education, KH M. Hasyim Asy'ari and KH Imam Zarkasyi, have brought major changes to education in Indonesia. This can be seen and tested from the quality of alumni. Therefore this study is important to find out the basic concept of Islamic education leadership that it applies, as well as its relevance in maintaining its existence in the world of education. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive approach. This type of research is library research with data collection methods obtained from books, journals, research results and others. This research resulted in the concept of Islamic education leadership according to KH M. Hasyim Asy'ari and KH Imam Zarkasyi which refers to the values of Islamic boarding schools, including essential and instrumental values. Each of these essential values and instrumental values has different points that are tailored to the goals of each educational institution.

Abstract

Religious plurality and social pluralism in Indonesia are like a double-edged sword.  On the one hand, it can strengthen social ties and cooperation between social joints, but on the other hand, it is very vulnerable to conflicts, both inter-religious and inter-religious groups.  This paper describes how diversity also has an impact on educational institutions and the importance of providing moral awareness to students in schools to live side by side, in harmony and peace within the framework of plurality and humanity, especially in facing the social lifestyle in the industrial era 5.0. Inclusiveness is full of values of respect for differences, openness to accepting diversity, upholding humanity above individualistic interests, and a great willingness to blend in and stick together in brotherly bonds that actually should be used as ethical values in religious education in schools.  Thus, the purpose of this paper which is sourced from in-depth social analysis and relevant literature studies is to provide understanding and awareness that religious education in school institutions should move from just formalistic-dogmatic learning to be a substantial learning, egalitarian and educates students to promote moderate, tolerant and inclusive attitudes towards religious diversity and avoid potential social conflicts.  Building inclusivism in schools starts with creating a climate of religious education that is open to all and not divided based on the religion of the students.  Furthermore, religious education puts forward human values and universal goodness to eliminate bad prejudice and hatred towards different communities.

Abstract

Kurikulum sangat penting untuk keberhasilan pendidikan. Agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat dilaksanakan dan tercapai, guru harus mengikuti kurikulum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru tentang penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah. SMP Taruna Dra Zulaeha Leces Probolinggo menjadi lokasi penelitian. Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif interaktif untuk pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penyajian, serta untuk menarik kesimpulan, yang semuanya dilakukan secara bersamaan dan berkesinambungan untuk menjamin validitas penelitian. Catatan lapangan dan wawancara tidak terstruktur dengan guru PAI digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menghasilkan hasil yang valid. 1) Beberapa guru menanggapi Kurikulum Merdeka dengan baik, sementara yang lain tidak. Ini terungkap dari hasil temuan penelitian. 2) Menurut guru, Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kurikulum dinamis yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan guru, siswa, dan sekolah. Untuk mempertahankan dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia, guru percaya bahwa kurikulum merdeka memiliki prinsip-prinsip yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan siswa. 4) Menurut guru, kurikulum merdeka menawarkan kebebasan bagi semua bagian sistem pendidikan, mulai dari sekolah guru hingga siswa, tetapi kelemahannya hanya memerlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan. 5) Guru yang mulai menggunakan kreativitas dan inovasi di kelas menjadi bukti bahwa guru PAI sudah mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the existence of counseling guidance in schools in an effort to develop the character of students at SMK Taruna Karya I Karawang in the era of independent learning. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research in which the data are in the form of words not numbers (derived from interviews, report notes, documents and others). The population used in this study were all students of SMK Taruna Karya I Karawang. By taking a sample of 64 students from class X and 24 students from class XI. As for the steps of counseling guidance carried out at SMK Taruna Karya I Karawang in a preventive/persuasive (prevention) and curative (healing) way. Based on the results of observational data, field notes through interviews and questionnaires, it was found that preventive guidance at SMK Taruna Karya I, Karawang, reached a percentage of 80%. This shows that the results of the guidance are strong or good, considering the numbers that show often and sometimes are greater in number than never. Then with curative counseling it reached a percentage of 77.8%. It also shows that the results of the guidance are strong or good, considering the numbers that show often and sometimes are greater in number than never. Thus, the two results show that counseling guidance in an effort to develop the character of students at SMK Taruna Karya I Karawang results are good and successful

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pemikiran pendidikan politik Muhammad Cholil Bisri terutama dalam lokus kebangsaan yang dituangkannya dalam naskah Al-Durr al-Rumbānī fi al-Fiqh al-Siyāsī. Naskah yang disusun sebagai pedoman politik umat Islam ini memuat persoalan penting yang mengarah pada pemaknaan politik secara holistik. Sebagai alat perjuangan, persoalan politik tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kerja-kerja strategis umat Islam apalagi menafikannya. Dalam konteks demikian, sebagai pewaris Nabi, diperlukan peran para ulama sebagai politisi pendidik yang berpotensi mengawal pesan-pesan Islam dalam lokus kebangsaan. Salah satu pembahasan pendidikan politik dalam naskah ini adalah pendidilan loyalitas terhadap pemerintah meski dengan status oposisi, sebuah sikap yang mengarah pada gerakan konstruktif kebangsaan. Meski pandangan ini sudah lama disuarakan para pemikir awal Sunni dan menjadi pandangan politik kebangsaan NU, gagasan yang ditulis Muhammad Cholil Bisri ini tetap memiliki relevansinya dalam konteks politik kontemporer.

Abstract

Problem-solving involves seeking information, analyzing situations, and identifying problems to generate alternatives so can make teacher decisions to achieve goals. This article aims to unravel the urgency of educators in mastering problem-solving in classroom learning. Using a conceptual approach, this qualitative descriptive research concludes that one of the functions of educators is to master one of the problem-solving models. One of the competencies of mastering problem solving is the ability to think critically as a tool in constructing knowledge during the learning process. With problem- solving, educators are able to produce school graduates who are proportional and thrive in the future fairly and equitably.

Abstract

The research was conducted to explore how the transformation of digital-based teaching materials integrated with technology and VAK method (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) can enchance the cognitive development student's of 7th grade student’s in Wachid Hasyim Islamic Junior High School of Surabaya. The research research a descriptive-qualitative approach, employing interview, observation, and documentation methods. The findings of the study indicated that students encountered difficulties in understanding thaharah, particularly the concept of ritual purification, and memorizing of surah Juz ‘Amma. To address these challenges, the researchers proposed the utilization of digital instructional materials such as power point text, videos, and the Qur’an memorization application ‘Ayat’ combined with the VAK method, to enchance memory retention.The research results demonstrated a significant improvement in students cognitive development when utilizing digital-based instructional materials combined with the VAK method, optimizing the transfer of knowledge through the sensory modalities of sight, hearing, and hands on practise during the learning process. this study indicate the student's cognitive abilities can be enhanced by utilizing digital Therefore, the transformation of instructional materials into a digital-based format plays a vital role in enchancing students cognitive development.
