Abstract

The goal of the research is to find out whether students’ synchronous learning correlates highly to their autonomous learning. Knowing that activities during synchronous learning must standardized into certain syllabus so that, learning process can be imitated into asynchronous learning nowadays. Therefore, studying the topic is still needed. This study used quantitative data that researchers obtained from numerous respondents. 100 participants, dominantly English Language Education students who experienced synchronous learning, already became active respondent to this study. A questionnaire comprised 15 items about how intensive students know the objective, specific or personal goal, negotiation, additional learning resources, checking their achievement and others during synchronous learning. The research applied a sequential exploration design in which quantitative data is collected and analyzed using SPSS 23. The result reveals that the sig value is 0.030 bigger () than 0.05. Thus, it shows a significant difference between the value of the synchronous relationship and autonomous learning when compared to the standards set. Next, it is reviewed further that the t value shows a positive score, meaning the research acquisition value is higher than the specified score. Synchronous learning has upgraded students’ autonomous learning.  Therefore, from the results of the test, it can be concluded that there is a high correlation between synchronous and students' autonomous learning.

Abstract

The current deployment of the online learning system is novel for educators and students, and it starkly contrasts the more traditional face-to-face model of education. This research aims to ascertain if and how an online learning system influences the utilisation of learning media in the context of Islamic theological and moral instruction. The study takes a quantitative, survey-based approach; data were gathered using questionnaires, records, and relevant literature reviews; descriptive statistics were used to analyse the results. The application of the online learning system has a significant effect on Islamic religious education subjects and character education through the use of learning media, as determined by the product-moment correlation test, the correlation test of determination, and the significance test. The following is the description: The Rcount value of 0.61 is greater than the Rtable value of 0.294 with a significant level of 5% in the strength of influence test, indicating that Rcount Rtable (0.61 0.294) means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. While the coefficient of determination test results is 37.21%, the significant correlation test results are 0.43, indicating a moderate correlation coefficient.

Abstract

Systemic thinking ability is a basic potential for humans in life. This study aims to analyze the study of systemic thinking from Wahdatul 'Ulûm's perspective as a study of the integration of knowledge in Islamic education. The approach to this research is a qualitative type, with a literature study method. Sources of data and study analysis materials used scientific literature obtained from credible websites, including Google Scholar, SINTA, Science Direct, and DOAJ. The results of this study indicate that (1) the ability to think thinking is a form of optimization of the potential possessed by humans and nature as "perfect beings" created by Allah swt. Islam teaches many systemic and critical thinking terms, such as al-tafakkur, al-tadzakkur, al-tadabbur, al-tandzur, and al-ta'aqqul. This potential supports the task of humanity as caliph fil ardh and 'abd on earth; and (2) Systemic thinking is relevant to the Wahdatul 'Ulm paradigm as a form of integrality (unity) of science, views that science is integral, interconnected, and holistic which is embodied in the form of vertical, horizontal, actuality, ethical, and intrapersonal integration. Human potential to have the ability to think systematically and critically is in line with the application of Wahdatul 'Ulm which eliminates all forms of scientific dichotomy, with the paradigm that everything comes from a single entity that is inseparable, interconnected and contains wisdom.

Abstract

Learning media has a significant role in an effort to help abstract concepts so that students more easily understand these concepts. However, many teachers have difficulty in developing learning media. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of picture storybooks with a TheoAnthropoEco-centric approach that is feasible and practical for use by elementary school students. This study uses a research and development type that refers to the development stage of Borg Gall. The data was obtained using a product feasibility validation questionnaire and a teacher and student response questionnaire. The subjects of this research are media experts, material experts, linguists, class teachers and fourth-grade students of madrasah ibtidaiyah. The determination of research subjects is done by purposive sampling technique. Descriptive statistical techniques analyzed the data obtained in this study. The results showed that the picture book with the TheoAnthropoEco-centric approach developed in this study was feasible and practical for use by elementary school students. This is evidenced by the feasibility test results, which show the developed media is in the "Very Good" category. On the other hand, the results of the practicality test also show that the product developed in this study is in the "Very Good" category. Therefore, picture story books with a TheoAnthropoEco-centric approach can be used as a medium of learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The results of students' still-inadequate capacity to solve mathematical problems with a focus on HOTS encouraged this study. The Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model is one strategy for enhancing competence in this area. This research aims to determine whether or not eighth-graders at a State Junior High School in the Boyolali district of Central Java, Indonesia, can improve their problem-solving skills in mathematics by using the RME learning paradigm. Action research in the classroom is what we call it. Data is gathered through testing, observing, taking field notes, and documenting. Additionally, triangulation methods will be used to verify the accuracy of the data. Data was collected through both direct observation and standardised testing. Problem-solving indicator values, observation sheets, and recommendations for data interpretation are among the devices employed. The data analysis shows that teaching with the RME learning model improves students' capacity to solve mathematical problems. This is evidenced by the fact that all problem-solving indications have been met: There are four stages to any problem-solving process: 1) analysis, 2) planning, 3) execution, and 4) reflection (checking and interpreting).

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of humanistic learning theory in learning Islamic religious education in one of the State Middle Schools in Ogan Ilir Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers used the snowball sampling technique or snowballs. To increase the validity of qualitative research data, a process of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability is carried out. The results of this study indicate that students can maximise their potential or abilities by applying humanistic learning theory in Islamic religious education. For this reason, humanistic education is essential: each student has their own unique personality and skill set, and it would be unfair to expect each student to learn in the same way. The implementation of this humanistic theory has been successful. This is evident in the kids' daily life, as they worship in congregations with order, respect their elders, memorise large portions of the Al-Qur'an, and have warm, friendly relationships with their teachers. Teachers help pupils learn and develop strategies for overcoming challenges.
