Abstract

Health services facilities development and people mindset about health  make people more  critical in making decision to their needs of health services. The increased of the health fasilities made the owner to provide the best service, so they can be able to compete and growth. The purpose of this study is to improve the service quality of health service facility. The objective of this research is to improve the level of services quality on the health service. Integration of the IPA method and the Kano are used to determine which attributes should be improve to meet customer satisfaction. The result from this method are 14 attributes on the position keep up the good work  and 13 attributes must be improved.

Abstract

Ergonomics in rice milling does not use often. In Kedungdowo village, Kaliwungi Subdistrict, Kudus Regency, the working position of the rice hull machine to the scales did not take into account the ergonomic aspects because only rice was rice with a shoulder. This is done continuously fast and efficiently. The method used in this study is to measure anthropometric data from rice carrying workers. The anthropometric data in this study were worker elbow height (TSB) and hand held hand diameter (DGT). Anthropometric data is processed and edited for the ergonomic trolley base to be designed. The results of the research conducted were obtained by the ergonomic trolley concept. with a height of 100, 81 cm trolley; diameter of electric hand trolley 4.77 cm; 71 cm long trolley; and the width of the trolley is 52 cm. From the results of the questionnaire, the profit that occurred on the neck was 11%, in the hand round was 90%, the back was 4%, the waist was 8%, the thigh was 47%, the knee was 25%, the calf was 17%. after using ergonomic trolleys

Abstract

Rework products and warehouse capacity are common problems experienced by companies in the production process. Several Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) models were developed to minimize the costs of purchasing raw materials. This study aims to develop an Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) model with rework processes and warehouse constraints, assuming that the product is not perfect and can rework. The proposed model considers several cost components, including setup, holding, production, rework, and warehouse. The two proposed models are EPQ models with reworks and warehouse costs, and EPQ models with reworks and warehouse constraints. Based on several tests conducted, it obtains that the increase in the value of the maximum inventory amount did not have an impact on the production costs and the cost of the rework process. Based on several numerical experiments, the total cost of the rework process and production costs do not change to the maximum inventory value.

Abstract

Excessive waste is one of the problems in the food supply chain system. This study aims to identify supply chain players, map, and reduce waste that occurs in the Papaya California agribusiness supply chain process in Cikarang, Bekasi. Data collection was obtained from the results of field studies and interviews with parties involved in the supply chain such as farmers, distributors, retailers, and consumers. Increasing the effectiveness of Papaya's supply chain network is by improving the quality of packaging (modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), smart packaging, active packaging, and intelligent packag­ing), sharing data among chain players supply, implement refri­ge­ration and monitor transportation technology and promote the long term.  Good coordination between parties involved in the Papaya supply chain has a significant role in creating an effective and effici­ent supply chain system.

Abstract

Increased technological developments encourage companies or industries to be able to increase their productivity. Increased productivity can do with improvements in each process carried out following the standard time set to complete an activity. This study aims to compare the usual time in the production process of MP YST Revo at a metal casting company using the time study method and the Critical Path Method (CPM) approach. Both methods process the same information for the duration of each recorded activity and allowance. The time study calculates the standard time of the production process by considering allowances, while the CPM uses completion time and final coefficient where the sum of the duration of each activity entering the critical path becomes completion time. Based on four observations, the average of the 30-minute allowance obtained, and the average observed time is 450.05 minutes, and the CPM gives a faster completion time of 341.4 minutes. The standard time to use CPM offers a difference of about 2 hours faster than a time study.

Abstract

This article discusses marketing performance by identifying marketing mix variables that influence marketing performance and its indicators in the hotel industry. The purpose of this writing was to find the correlation between marketing mix with marketing performance and signs in the hotel industry. This article was expected to extend the insights and provide valuable suggestions for future researches. The method applied in this article was a literature study. The literature study was used systematically towards 24 research articles in the field of marketing performance that written from 2000 to 2018. Based on the results and discussion, it could conclude that marketing mix variables influence marketing performance that covers product, price promotion, and distribution channel. This research also identifies three selected indicators for marketing performance in the hotel industry. Those indicators include customer mindset, expression of customer preference, and customer behavior. The potential future research, among others, is a research that will employ marketing performance indicators that suitable to other service industries.

Abstract

Tofu industry dominates by small-scale business with traditional production methods. On the other hand, demand for tofu products is quite high, and it is needed to increase tofu production. This study discusses the making of hygiene tofu maker tools able to simplify the production process. Based on the results of interviews with three tofu home industries in Cikarang, Bekasi, 17 request attributes of making an assistive tool obtain. Based on this, four technical responses were collected and will be developed become four concept designs. After conducting concept selection, it is determined to plan for making a tool which can simplify the process of making tofu. That is, starting from the manufacturing process, which starts from the pulp to the process of making tofu, can be put together into one manufacture of the tool. Thus, designing this tool can integrate the six stages of the tofu production process.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the use of liquid containers, which use as bulk cosmetic containers, which will be move from the WIP room to the product packaging room. Based on these transfer activities, there was a risk of exposure to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), which were analyzed using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and Washington State Checklist (WSC). This study aims to design a tool for a more ergonomic liquid container to reduce the impact of MSDs on workers. Redesigning this tool uses the concept of Reverse Engineering. The design of the new liquid container transporter simulation can reduce REBA score with a WSC value of low-risk category for MSDs exposure based on the overall work environment category.
