Construction of an airport including Medan International Airport Kualnnamu need to pay attention to the requirements of the runway pavement. A PCN (Pavement Clansificatton Number) published the AIP (Aerodrome Information Publication). Published PCN value is certainly a reference for the Pilot to land in accordance witli permit total load (PTA) aircraft. Related to the above, it is necessary Permit Review Expense Total Aircraft (PTA) aircraft. Related to the above, it is necessary Permit Review Expense Total Aircraft (PTA) From the value of PCN (Pavement Classification Number) In Kualanamu Medan International Airport.From the survey results revealed that the runway Kualanamu Medan International Airport with a load of total permits aircraft (PTA) 1,217,406 lbs or 608,703 kilograms can accommodate Super Jumbo aircraft A-380 which has a Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) IS smaller than the total value of the load pemits aircraft (PTA) is 548.000kg (1,208,000 1b). Pembangunan bandara termasuk Bandara Internasional Kualanamu Medan perlu memperhatikan persyaratan perkerasan landasan pacu. Sebuah PCN (Pavement Nomor Klasifikasi) diterbitkan dalam AIP (Aerodrome Information Publication). Nilai PCN diterbitkan sebagai acuan bagi pilot untuk mendarat sesuai dengan beban ijin total pesawat(PTA).Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa landasan pacu Bandara Internasional Kualanamu Medan dengan beban pesawat izin total (PTA) 1.217.406 lbs atau 608.703 kg dapat menampung pesawat Jumbo Super A-380 yang memiliki maksimum yang Take Off Weight (MTOW) lebih kecil dari total nilai pesawat beban ijin(PTA) adalah 548.OOOkg (1.208.OOO lbs).

Keselamatan penerbangan merupakan system utama yang perlu mendapat perhatian lebih dari pemerintah sebagai regulator/fasilitator, pengelola bandar udara sebagai penyedia prasarana, maupun oleh perusahaan penerbangan sebagai operator, dimana ketiga system inilah yang menentukan kualitas dan kuantititas system transportasi udara serta keselamatan penerbangan, karena keselamatan penerbangan adalah keadaan yang terwujud dari penyelenggaraan penerbangan yang system sesuai dengan prosedur operasi dan persyaratan kelaikan teknis terhadap sarana dan prasarana penerbangan beserta penunjangnya.Setiap komponen sub system bandar udara dalam melakukan kegiatan operasinya tetap harus mengutamakan keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan. Kecelakaan penerbangan, seperti misalnya pesawat udara yang gagal melakukan take-off atau landing, serta insiden kebakaran yang terjadi di bandar udara harus cepat mendapat penanganan agar penyelenggaraan operasi penerbangan tidak terganggu.

The improvement of the quality and quantity of airplanes owned by some airlines as well as the increasing number of passengers’ movement have demanded every airport to improve its facilities. Fatmawati Soekarno airport has improved the quality of its runway with the value of Pavement Classification Number (PCN) 45 F/X/C/T. With the increasing Pavement Classification Number (PCN) , it is expected that airports can facilitate Boeing 737-900ER aircraft.The problems in this study is the what figure of Permitted Total Load (Pta) of aircrafts is if the Pavement Classification Number (PCN) value is increased. From the above calculation, it shows that the Permitted Total Load (Pta) that can perform landing in the airport’s runway is 75.655 kg. Meanwhile, the Pavement Classification Number (PCN) value is PCN 45/F/C/X/T and the CAN value of a Boeing 737-900ER aircraft is 51 (max) and 24 (min) for CBR low with the Maximum Take Off Weight of 85.130 kg. Peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas pesawat yang dimiliki oleh beberapa maskapai penerbangan, serta pertumbuhan jumlah pergerakan penumpang, menuntut setiap bandar udara untuk meningkatkan fasilitasnya. Bandar udara Fatmawati Soekarno telah meningkatkan kualitas fasilitas landas pacu dengan nilai Pavement classification Number (PCN) 45 F/X/C/T. Dengan peningkatan nilai Pavement Classification Number (PCN) tersebut, diharapkan bandar udara ini mampu melayani pesawat tipe 737-900ER.Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah berapa nilai beban ijin total (Pta) pesawat bila nilai Pavement Classification Number ditingkatkan. Dari hasil perhitungan diatas terlihat bahwa beban ijin total pesawat (Pta) yang dapat mendarat di runway Bandar udara Fatmawati Soekarno adalah 75.655 kg. Sementara itu, Nilai Pavement Clasification Number (PCN) adalah PCN 45/F/C/X/T, dan nilai ACN dari Pesawat Boeing 737 - 900 ER adalah 51 (max) dan 24 (min) untuk CBR Low, dengan Maksimum Take Off Weight (MTOW) sebesar 85.130 kg.

As a cargo hub airports, at Soekarno Hatta Airport happen every activities of air cargo transport service is very solid, both for domestic and international flights, domestic foreign. For air cargo transport service activities with overseas flight routes, there are two types of service activities that outgoing and incoming cargo export import cargo. Both types of activities are certainly bureaucratic administrative proceess requires that long.As a country that has the potential to increase the capacity of cargo transportation, and has a tremendous opportunity increase economic growth through air freight cargo, then the need for discussion between various parties associated with flow cargo process in Indonesia.

Sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan keselamatan penerbangan khususnya di bandar udara, maka perlu dilakukan kajian tentang fatigue dan Job Stress ATC yang memegang peranan penting dalam menjaga keselamatan khususnya penanganan terhadap pesawat. Maksud kajian adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana peran kelelahan dan stres kerja ATC dapat diantisipasi untuk mencegah faktor human error. Tujuan kajian ini adalah memberikan bahan masukan kepada penyelenggara jasa angkutan udara dan instansi terkait untuk mencegah fatigue dan job stress dengan melakukan upaya-upaya yang maksimal. Hasil kajian ini mengindikasikan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi stres kerja, yang paling besar memberikan pengaruh adalah faktor beban kerja (workload) yang memberikan kontribusi sebesar 3.24, kemudian disusul oleh hubungan kerja (human relationship) sebesar 2.53, lingkungan kerja (working environment) sebesar 2.11 dan konfilk peran (role conflict) sebesar 2.12. [Air Traffic Controllers Fatigue and Job Stress at X Airport ] In the effort to improve aviation safety, particularly at the airports, it is necessary to conduct the research concerning on the fatigue and job stress of the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) whom have an important role in maintaining aviation safety particularly in the aircrafts control and guidance. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the fatigue and job stress of the ATC so that it can be anticipated to prevent the occurrence of any human errors. The aim of this study is to provide the recommendation for aviation service operator and other related stakeholders in order to reduce the fatigue and job stress. From the conclusion, it is indicated that several factors affect the fatigue and job stress in which the most important factors (in descending order) are the workload (score 3.24), human relationship (score 2.53), the working environment (score 2.11) and role conflict (score 2.12).

Increasing number of Airline companies in Indonesia result in increasing domestic market share competition. One of the airline in Indonesia is Lion Air which has a large fleet. One of the airport that has a growth rate of air transport demand is Pattimura airport in Ambon. The aim of this research was to determine the Strenght, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat (SWOT) of Lion Air in Pattimura Airport, Ambon. The goal is to provide an input to Lion Air in order to maintain and increase the air transport services in Pattimura Airport. This research used Diskriptif Quantitative analysis and SWOT method. From the calculation and rating for each of the IFAS and EFAS seen that the position of Lion Air is located in Quadrant II, namely quadrants strategy Strength - Threat at coordinates (0.67 ; 0.52). It means that Lion Air has an internal strength as a strong factor to take advantage of existing opportunities. Perusahaan penerbangan yang berjumlah 16 semakin meningkatkan persaingan dalam pangsa pasar domestik. Salah satunya adalah maskapai Lion Air dengan jumlah armada yang besar. Salah satu bandara yang mempunyai tingkat pertumbuhan permintaan angkutan udara cukup tinggi adalah bandar udara Pattimura-Ambon.Maksud kajian adalah untuk mengetahui keunggulan, kelemahan, peluang, dan tantangan yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan penerbangan Lion Air. Tujuannya adalah memberikan bahan masukan kepada Lion Air dalam upaya mempertahankan penyediaan layanan jasa angkutan udara di Bandara Pattimura-Ambon. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Diskriptif Kuantitatif analisis dan SWOT. Dari hasil perhitungan pembobotan dan rating untuk masing-masing IFAS dan EFAS terlihat bahwa posisi PT. Lion Mentari Air terletak pada Kuadran II, yaitu kuadran yang menerapkan strategi Strength-Threat, pada koordinat (0,67; -0,52), di mana hal ini berarti bahwa Lion Air memiliki kekuatan sebagai faktor internal yang kuat untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada.

The impact of ceasing temporary operation PT. Mandala Arilines in Achmad Yani Airport at Semarang on January 13th 2011 will effect toward the decreasing air of transport capacity of Semarang—Jakarta routes and Semarang-Banjarmasin routes. In hence, the route Semarang-Banjarmasin flown by Mandala airlines seven times in a week, and route Semarang-Jakarta twelve times per week. By using load factor comparative method, from the result of the research was obtained the increasing of load factor to all routes of airline schedule flow by mandala.

In developing Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, one of the efforts is by installing Approach Light System, a navigation tool installed at both runway edges used to improve flight security and safety. By installing Approach Light System at both runway edges, it can guarantee safety flight in order to develop air traffic system in the movement area that is safe, fast and smooth.The objective of Approach Light System is to provide clear guides to pilots when performing landing on the runways. The tool is also useful for making accurate landing of the aircraft.By using descriptive qualitative technical approach method in the analysis of this study, it can be concluded that by completely installing the Approach Light System at both runway edges in Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, it has met the regulation number SKEP/114/VI/2002 on the Airport Installation System Standard Blueprint (Airfield Lighting System) issued by the General Directorate of Air Transport so that safe and secure flight can be conducted optimally and aircraft movement can be increased as well.Approach Light System merupakan peralatan navigasi pada kedua ambang landasan untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan. Tujuan dan manfaat dari Approach Light system adalah untuk memberikan tuntutan kepada pilot/penerbang saat melakukan pendaratan menuju landasan dan manfaatnya untuk ketepatan pendaratan pesawat udara.Melalui metode pendekatan teknis deskriptif kualitatif dalam melakukan analisis pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan terpenuhinya kebutuhan Approach Light system pada kedua ambang landasan bandara Sultan Hasanudin Makassar, maka sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku yaitu SKEP/114/VI/2002 yang diterbitkan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara tentang Standar Gambar Instalasi Sistem Bandar Udara (Airfield Lighting System) sehingga dapat terselenggara keamanan dan keselamatan penerbangan secara optimal dan dapat meningkatkan pergerakan pesawat udara.

The length of the queue at the entrance to the departure terminal I-A is certainly going to reduce the sense of comfort for users of transport services in this Soekarno Hatta Airport. According to Director General of Civil Aviation SKEP Number 284/X/1999 About Airport Operational Performance Standards Associated with Service Level (Level Of Service) at the Airport as a basis for price policy air port services. for security checks of passengers and goods every passenger needs a long time wait 3 minutes 9 seconds. Relating to the above, more densely with I-A number of passengers in station, then research must be done about the needs of x-ray facility in accordance with the Level of service mentioned above. from the analysis it is recommended that airport operators to be able to provide the four x-ray facilities at the airport departure terminal I-A of Hatta Airport.

Ketersediaan infrastruktur transportasi merupakan elemen kunci dalam pengembangan obyek tujuan wisata. Sebagai institusi yang bertanggung jawab terhadap kegiatan transportasi nasional Kementerian Perhubungan mempunyai andil dalam memberikan dukungan infrastruktur transportasi terhadap 10 destinasi wisata prioritas. Penetapan pada sepuluh destinasi pariwisata dimaksud sebagai upaya terobosan membuat “Bali Baru” di Indonesia. Candi Borobudur sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata prioritas tersebut tentu perlu menyiapkan infrastruktur transportasi yang dapat menunjang kemudahan aksesibilitas wisatawan. Salah satu upayanya adalah dengan pembenahan infrastruktur aksesibilitas melalui kemudahan dalam menggunakan moda transportasi udara. Merujuk pada permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini diharapkan dapat merumuskan strategi dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas melalui optimalisasi bandara sekitar untuk mendukung kunjungan wisatawan ke Candi Borobudur. [The Support of Surrounding Airports for Borobudur Temple Development as a Top Priority Tourist Destination] Transportation infrastructure is a key element for the development of tourist destination. The Ministry of Transportation as the institution that responsible for the national transportation activities has a role in providing transportation infrastructure that supports the ten priority tourist destinations. The strengthening of the ten priority tourist destinations is intended as an attempt to create a "new Bali" in Indonesia. The Borobudur temple as one of the priority tourist destinations needs a transportation infrastructure in order to support the accessibility. One of the programs is providing convenience air transportation access. This study aims to provide strategies to improve the Borobudur Temple accessibility through the optimization of surrounding airports.
