Abstract

Tapp Market is a location-based e-commerce mobile application that provides online purchases with cash easily and reliably. As of January 10th, 2019, Tapp Market e-commerce mobile application has been downloaded 50,000 times and received 2,000 reviews. However, Tapp Market e-commerce mobile application only gets a total rating 3.2 out of 5.0. The purpose of this research is to map the problems from every aspect offered, each contributing to improvements. UX Honeycomb is used as a parameter to measure user experience from Tapp Market e-commerce mobile application. Aspects which measured in this research are credible, valuable, useful, and usable. The number of samples used are 60 respondents. As requirement, respondents are users who have used or new to using Tapp Market e-commerce mobile application. The data collection method used is questionnaire transferred in the form of online and offline. The data obtained consisted of quantitative and qualitative data (triangulation). Data analysis was performed using simple descriptive statistical formula to find the average value and standard deviation. The results of the analysis show the percentage score average from credible aspect is 64.45% with good category, the percentage score average from valuable aspect is 69.27% ​​with good category, the percentage score average from useful aspect is 77.19% with good category, and percentage score average from usable aspect is 64.93% with good category. Based on the Mobile Principles of the Retail Application and Site, recommendations are given in the form of improvements to each indicator. Indicators that need to be improved on credible aspect are indicators with codes CR1, CR2, CR3, and CR4. Indicators that need to be improved on valuable aspect are indicators with codes VL1, VL2, and VL4. Indicators that need to be improved on useful aspect are indicators with codes UE1 and UE3. Indicators that need to be improved on usable aspect are indicators with codes UA2, UA4, and UA6.

Abstract

The Department of Communication and Information (DISKOMINFO) of Batu does not yet have a specific method for estimating the development of information systems or applications, the thing that is used as a reference is the standard operating procedure that contains the application development flow with 3 months of time being carried out with assistance only. This raises several problems such as the lack of time from 3 months to develop the application. This research was conducted to analyze the comparison of estimation using the Fuzzy Use Case Point method with actual conditions. There are 6 applications that become case studies in this study. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and the use of assessment sheets with respondent Head of Application Development Unit of DISKOMINFO Batu. Estimation using the Fuzzy Use Case Point method produces a smaller estimate compared to the actual condition with the average value of percent error is 36.62% for the duration of work and 69.99% for the total cost. Scheduling for each application development is represented in the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and then arranged into a Gantt Chart, based on predetermined activities.The results of this study can be taken into consideration for DISKOMINFO of Batu to carry out an analysis of resource estimates that are useful for improving standard operating procedure or also when collaborating with vendor in terms of agreement on estimating resource for application development.

Abstract

As a form of implementing e-government and to improve the quality services, Department of Education of Malang uses their official website as media for news publications and documentation of activities related to education in Malang. In addition, the website of the Department of Education of Malang also provides an online complaint feature that used by users to send complaints if they experience or know of law violations related to education in Malang. However, according to preliminary observations by looking at the user interface of the Department of Education of Malang website, it was found that usability problems were still found such as not offer a home menu to make users easier to return into the main page. Therefore, to find usability problems more specifically, we need to do usability evaluation. In this study, usability evaluation was carried out using a heuristic evaluation method with the principle of usability g-quality which is an extension of the Nielsen heuristic principle that was adjusted for e-government website. The evaluation involving four usability expert evaluators resulted in 35 usability problems. Of the 35 problems there are 33 interface design problems whose recommendations for improvement are realized in the form of a prototype. From the follow-up evaluation on the repair prototype, it was found that only four usability problems were still found from a total of 33 problems. It states that 88% of usability issues related to user interface design on The Department of Education of Malang website have been resolved and only 12% of the remaining problems but with a lower severity rating than the first evaluation.

Abstract

Anterin is a New transportation provider application that offers several services. These services are transportation services, courier services. The Anterin application has grown rapidly by seeing the Anteriny application being downloaded more than tens of thousands of times. However, users agree with the Anterin application that it still has disadvantages, which are requested by the compilation map to determine the location that is still lacking and the destination location that the user entered is not required by the application. From the feedback provided by users, the Anterin application still has a number of questions going on. Therefore, Anterin applications require excavation of problems and measurement of usability. The method used in this study is the method used to test used for discussion on the Anterin application and to measure the usefulness of the Anterin application using the assignment scheme and questionnaire. Tests were carried out on 5 respondents from users of the new Anterin application and questionnaires were filled out by 100 active user respondents from the Anterin application. The results of the evaluation indicate the problem and level of use of the Anterin application. The problem with the Anterin application is that participants who have difficulty making payments, participants who find it difficult to find a home address or location that challenges participants in the "pick-up" column, and participants are confused the location compilation according to the participants does not match the map. The results of the user usage level at the user convenience level is 100%, the user speed level is 0.01 goals / second, the user error rate is 0.1, and the user satisfaction level is 60% -65% in the Anterin application.

Abstract

CV.PASTIJADI is one IT company under of PT.Talenta Inti Global Madani that located in Surabaya. Director CV.PASTIJADI said that activity for handling client doesn't have a procedure which is some activity resulted in repeated with same goals and the ineffectiveness while working with worker. This research aims to analyze business process (as-is), evaluated that business process, and give a recommendation based on evaluation. This research using some techniques are vertical of abstraction, functional decomposition, value shop, and RACI Chart mapping for analyze. Second, this research using BPMN techniques for modeling the business process, and then this research using FMEA technique for evaluate the business process and last this research using BPI with 12 streamlinng technique for get the recommendation of business process. This research give a result in current business process on analysis of client requirement have reached 26.93%.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pelaporan Sarana dan Prasarana (Simasprana) is an Android application to report complaints regarding infrastructures in Faculty of Computer Science (Filkom) University of Brawijaya (UB). The application can be used for all academic community in Filkom UB. In previous development, it did not include user involvement especially in the user interface development. It is necessary to include the participation of users in the development of the user interface in the hope of getting feedback from users. This study aims to make design recommendations based on users requirements with the objective of making improvements to the user interface design. In addition, this study will also comparing usability scores of the previous design and the design recommendations. In the process of making user interface recommendations, Human Centered Design (HCD) approach is used and to obtain usability scores, usability testing is carried. The tests is conducted on six participants. Participants were asked to run several task scenarios and fill out the Post Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) questionnaire to measure satisfaction levels. Interactive prototypes were made as the design recommendations. The test results on design recommendations show increases in the scores of usability. On the aspect of effectiveness, the result of the success rate increased by 19.1%. On the efficiency aspect, the time-based efficiency (TBE) increased by 0.054 goals/sec and the overall relative efficiency increased by 50.6%. In the aspect of satisfaction, the result increased by 41.2%.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science on the University of Brawijaya evaluates lecturer performance every semester and the evaluation program was carried out by the Quality Assurance Unit (UJM) Team. UJM Team does the evaluation by distributing questionnare within the Student Academic Information System (SIAM). There were two section on the questionnaire, multiple choice section and the comment section. After collecting data, UJM Team processed the data from the comment section manually. The comment section contained student's perspective of the lecturer performance, which has never been processed to date to be used as an evaluation material. Therefore, this study is performed to assist UJM Team to process the data from the comment section using Sentiment Analysis on sentence level with K-Nearest Neighbor classification method. Out of 2210 opinion data from students of the Information Technology Study Program analyzed from three semester period in the Even Semester 2016/2017, Odd Semester 2017/2018, and Even Semester 2017/2018, the classification result in an average accuracy of 81%. The result of this study is a list of opinions and bar chart showing the frequency of opinions that have been classified and will be displayed as a dashboard. This data opinions can also be filterred by lecturer's subjects and his/her name.

Abstract

Students can complete college if they have completed thesis research and have met graduation requirements. For fluency in working on a thesis, students must report achievements and problems experienced while working on the thesis. Students often get problems during thesis guidance, it is difficult to meet lecturers, it is difficult to report on work results and there is no routine guidance schedule. Lecturers find it difficult to determine guidance schedules, too many students are guided, it is difficult to monitor student thesis and incomplete guidance documentation. Based on the existing problems, a prototype design of guidance application was made with Design Sprint. Sprint design can accept user input and validate early, align all team members, set clear goals, develop hypotheses and test them quickly. The design results are in the form of a mobile-based thesis guidance prototype, then in the usability study stage by giving assignments to lecturers and students not to get into trouble just need time to get used to using it. With satisfying results the writing suggests to develop results from prototypes into applications that are ready for use by lecturers and students.

Abstract

The Student Activity Unit is one of the facilities provided by the Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University for students to facilitate and store information related to various kinds of student activities internally and externally. From the start of the competition, official activities, organization and participation in both levels of Study Program, Faculty, Regional, National and International. System applications that already exist and are already running in one of the Filkom Applications Applications with a feature called SKM, which is in accordance with business processes and implementation in the field has not yet run with that caused by a shortage of Human Resources (HR) in Student Affairs, so the process in verification itself is still hampered. The Student Activity Unit also helps students in helping and storing information related to student activities. The information stored on the application itself also helps in the process of accreditation of the Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University. But in the application in the field there are still problems because there is still a lot of information that has not been stored correctly. To overcome this problem, a Web Application using the Codeiginter framework is created specifically for the Student Activity Unit which is needed to help overcome student problems related to lack of human resources, involving students (Student Executive Board) as a verification unit and also providing tools to store information related to students as one of the needs needed for accreditation.

Abstract

The implementation of the full-day school concept is currently around 8,000 schools throughout Indonesia. In the implementation, student's activities during school are held for 8 hours per day. Some of the students get a pocket money to buy food in the cafeteria because their parents do not have time to cook the lunch for brunch and some their busy parents entrust the catering service to fulfill their child's nutrition but The majority all students who subscribed to catering leave their lunch and some do not eat all food on the reason because menu in catering is not liked by the students. This causes students to eventually lack calories to fulfill the activities on that day. These problems will also affect the concentration and learning achievement of students. Based on the above problems it takes innovation in the school catering ordering service that provides innovations in school catering ordering and provides children nutrition supervision for parents who subscribe to catering. The development of school catering ordering applications is developed to help parents supervise the nutrients on each menu in the catering package to suit the needs of each child. Based on the usability test, the value of 87,125% results that indicates the catering booking app is eligible to be used and applied. In the test, functionality shows that the system is valid and worth using for school catering reservations.
