Abstract

Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Kediri website is a media for storing information related to profiles, services, registration, reporting or payment of taxes and levies, activities documentation, news to socialization as an effort to implement electronic-based government to improve the quality of public services effectively and efficiently. Although this website is one of the information media for Kediri City BPPKAD, there are still deficiencies found, especially related to information quality, service interaction quality, website usability and user experience. Referring to the finding of these deficiencies, this research was conducted to evaluate and redesign the website of the Kediri City BPPKAD, in order to improve the usability aspect of the website. Then in the website design process, the design thinking method will be carried out with task scenario testing and also SUS testing too. Based on the initial needs excavation, it was found that the satisfaction level of website users was only around 66%. The lowest level of satisfaction is in the aspect of content, organization and readability. While the highest level of satisfaction is in the user interface design aspect, although it is only around 70%. Then the results of the evaluation and redesign were carried out to obtain satisfactory results. Based on the aspect of effectiveness and efficiency, 100% of users have succeeded in executing the given task scenario with the longest processing time being 10 seconds for one task. Then in the satisfaction aspect, the average user gives an assessment on a grade scale of B+ to A+.

Abstract

In general, the way to record vital signs data is point to point using cables that make patient's monitoring data cannot be moved, which results in the patient being unable to move or change places. Vital signs consist of three examination parameters, which is checking body temperature, heart rate and oxygen levels. Currently, a vital signs monitoring system based on BLE transmission media has also been developed, but it is considered not enough because BLE requires large bandwidth and limited range. Therefore, a vital signs monitoring system using LoRa transmission was designed, where LoRa is classified as an energy-efficient module that can support long-distance transmissions with large data sizes and has passed testing from certified technicians. To support the performance of the designed system, it is necessary to add the circular buffer method, where this method serves to support the Quality of Service when the vital signs data transmission process is carried out. The test is based on a comparison between sending vital signs data without using the circular buffer method and sending vital signs data using the circular buffer method with end-to-end delay and packet loss as parameters, where the use of the circular buffer method produces a better end-to-end delay, which is below 0.1 ms compared to system that does not use circular buffer method which is below 0.2 ms. Meanwhile, for the packet loss itself, which is below 0.07% compared to system that does not use circular buffer method which is below 0.1%.

Abstract

Cooking is a process of creating a food by following the steps in sequence. Based on a survey conducted on 82 students of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya, it was found that 86.6 percent of respondents had faced problems when cooking related to ingredients and seasonings, recipes, level of maturity, cooking methods, cooking time, dosage, determining the menu, and the results obtained not as expected. 96.3 percent of respondents feel they will be helped in overcoming problems related to cooking with an application that provides recipes. Several recipe applications have been developed, but none are specifically for students, where the recipes are practical and simple with easily available ingredients. Therefore, an application for guides and recipes was developed for students. The application was developed using SDLC Prototyping, Kotlin programming language, Firebase as data storage, with MVVM architecture. Applications are tested using black box testing, and usability testing. In black box testing, the success rate is 100%. In usability testing, the effectiveness level is 100%, and in SUS, the value is 85.5, which means the application can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

The Campurejo Village Hall is a service center for the residents and community of Campurejo Village, Sambil Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency, East Java. The services provided at Balaidesa are quite diverse, such as: filing correspondence, managing population data, village development, and other community needs. Currently, the service is done manually by entering data in an available form or excel file. So that the service process takes quite a longer time. Then, there are problems in data storage that is not centralized and not stored neatly. So that when village officials need certain data, such as: Population Data Reports, Population Recaps Based on Dusun and other data, it will take quite a long time, because they need to find and calculate or group manually again. To overcome these problems, we need an application. The application is a website-based Village Information System (SIDESA). This application will make it easier for village officials to enter data on the available forms and store the data entered in the database so that it is stored neatly and easily accessible for the future. This application uses several programming languages, namely: Mysql, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, etc. The test results of this application get 100% valid for unit testing, integration, and validation. While getting the results of 1 major issues and 3 minor issues in compatibility testing.

Abstract

The liaison book as a communication tool between parents and teachers, in the book the teacher provides information on child development to parents, and parents can also provide feedback in the form of child development when at home. However, the lack of resources as a classroom teacher does not allow them to be able to write down the development of a number of children in a class every day, which must be completed before the children return from school. From the results of the notes made on the connecting book, the teacher is required to provide a final semester evaluation in the form of a conclusion that each child is superior in two areas of intelligence. With the problems that arise, research is carried out by developing a system as a substitute for an Android-based link book that can be used as an assistant for writing a connecting book. In this study, several stages were carried out in its development. First, analysis and specification of requirements, planning, implementation, and testing are carried out. At the stage of analysis and specification of requirements produced 35 functional requirements. in the design in this study using use case diagrams, use case scenarios, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, and there is an algorithm design and database design. The development is implemented in Android studio using the Java language. The system testing process begins with unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing which produces a value of 93.02%. And testing the System Usability Scale with a score of 72.09 which can be categorized as good.

Abstract

The transparency of Information is one of the important characteristic of a democratic country. Therefore, every individual should be able to obtain information in an easy way, one of which is public information that is useful for maintaining harmonious relations between the government and society. transparency of public information is one of the government's central roles in terms of fulfilling the rights of individuals or groups to be able to obtain public information when needed. The public institution that provides and serves requests for public information is called the Information and Documentation Management Officer or PPID. PPID is responsible for storing, documenting and providing services on public information. In PPID of South Solok Regency, one of the main problems is that activities about services provided by PPID of South Solok Regency are not being carried out in the PPID information system that has resulted to slow response towards any activities because there is no notification of those activities. Furthermore, some other problems are public information cannot be downloaded and the images on the website do not appear. Based on the problems, PPID of South Solok Regency suggested to development a new web-based information system. The development of the new information system for South Solok Regency employs one of the SDLC methods, which is the waterfall method. This information system was developed mainly using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and several JavaScript libraries to support the development of this system. This research is expected to be able to solve the problems that exist in the PPID of South Solok Regency and to make it easier for users to use the PPID services.

Abstract

In the world of education, artificial intelligence (AI) plays a role in conveying various information and also makes the learning process of teachers and students more efficient. Intellectual crime in the form of plagiarism seems to have become a common phenomenon in education and in society. There are many motives behind this despicable act. The causes of such intellectual crimes are also very complex. Technological advances, in addition to triggering the growth and development of plagiarism activities, also provide a means to detect plagiarism activities through plagiarism detection tools or software. The number of cases of plagiarism in universities, finally applying technology to reduce the number of student plagiarism by using the plagiarism checker application. As an application, Turnitin is widely used by universities around the world, especially to check the authenticity or originality of a work. Therefore, this study aims to determine the understanding and perspective of students related to plagiarism and the use of Turnitin for plagiarism detection. Data collection research conducted by qualitative methods of case study approach using semi-structured interview techniques and will focus on extracting problems in students of the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Brawijaya. Then the data that has been obtained will be analyzed using thematic analysis stages. The findings of this study resulted in fact data consisting of two main themes, namely the understanding of plagiarism and turnitin with 9 categories and 29 codes.

Abstract

The increase in private vehicles is directly proportional to the increase in the number of maintenance and repairs of private vehicles. Harto Motors, one of the maintenance and repair workshops in Malang City, has a high enough demand for workshop services. However, reservations at Harto Motors are still manual. This manual system is often difficult for both the workshop and the customer. This study designed a mobile application user experience to assist and provide convenience in making reservations. The method used in this research is Design thinking because this method focuses on potential users and their nature of interacting with users in finding solutions. For validation, this study uses usability testing on 10 respondents who get an effectiveness aspect value of 91.5%, an efficiency aspect of 0.10 goals/sec, and a satisfaction aspect of 83.5 which includes grade B in the excellent category and also in the acceptable category. Furthermore, the test was also carried out using a user experience questionnaire (UEQ) which was tested on 20 respondents and got the results of the attractiveness aspect of 2.30, the results of the perspicuity aspect of 2.39, the results of the efficiency aspect of 2.44, the results of the dependability aspect of 2.08, the result from the stimulation aspect is 2.09, and the result from the novelty aspect is 1.99. The results of usability testing and UEQ are used as the basis for researchers to make interface improvements according to the feedback given by the respondents.

Abstract

Currently live shopping is very promising for businesses and UMKM because live shopping is a method of selling products by live on social media or e-commerce guided by the presenter during live shopping activities which are commonly called streamers, audiences can feel the benefits of being able to interact with streamer, buy and view products in real-time. Business actors and UMKM are also competing to carry out direct shopping activities. It's not easy for them to be able to create audience trust in streamers. There are factors that affect trust in streamers, namely Online Streamer Personality along with the moderating effect of respondent's age and Visibility. This study aims to determine the effect of Online Streamer Personality, Visibility and the moderating effect of respondent's age on trust in streamers in live shopping. This research is a quantitative study using the SEM-CB method and moderation analysis. Tests carried out in this study used IBM SPSS 22 and IBM AMOS 26 tools. Researchers distributed questionnaires to 502 respondents. The results showed that there was one hypothesis that was not accepted, namely the Visibility of Trust To Streamer.

Abstract

Halo Filkom website is here to help students who need information related to services, technical support, question, and submitting complaints to all services at FILKOM UB by utilizing the e-ticketing system. The researcher found that although the Halo Filkom website was feasible to use, because it was relatively new, several complaints from students of the Faculty of Computer Science were found, such as the design being too rigid, tickets closing too quickly, or the ticketing system being confusing for new users. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the Halo Filkom site so that it will be better in the future. The method used to evaluate and improve the Halo Filkom website is the design thinking method. The reason researchers use the design thinking method is because this method can help researchers explore user needs more deeply. With qualitative research methods like interviews, compared to quantitative like surveys. With the empathize stage in this method, it can involve respondents to participate in brainstorming related to complaints and ideas in the future development of the Halo Filkom website. Data collection for the evaluation was carried out using the interview method consisting of students and stakeholders. In addition, an evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) was also carried out with the aim of assessing the usability of the website before redesigning it. It was found that the SUS website scores 54.5 points. After making design improvements such as making tutorials for new users, improving pages so that they are not rigid, and other improvements. After the redesign, the SUS test was carried out again and it was found that the score increased to 91.5 points. It can be concluded that the process of evaluating and improving the website using the design thinking method succeeded in increasing the SUS score by 37 points or 67.88%.
