Abstract

Balai PenelitianTanaman Pemanis dan Serat (Balittas) develops various types of fiber plants, one of them is kenaf. Balittas is put forward kenaf seeds production. In producing kenaf seeds, Balittas has constraints that can inhibit the production processing of kenaf seeds. The constraint is when estimating seed production. In this research the author make an estimation system of kenaf seed production using Extreme Learning Machine method. This method is one of the artificial neural network method that has an advantage of learning speed. There are steps in ELM method, such as normalization,training, testing and denormalization. In this research, the result of system evaluation using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Based on the test performed, this method got the best average MAPE. The value is 0,160% using 8 number of neuron, binary activation function, and the percentage comparison of training data and testing data is 90%:10%.

Abstract

In the software development industry, calculating software development cost estimation was an important activity. Many software development projects have failed due to inaccessibility limits, cost and time. CV Gumcode Indonesia was experience in similar problems, where there were many projects delayed and cost overrun so that an evaluation of how they estimated the cost was performed. This study described the cost, time and resource estimation needed for development by referring to Work Breakdown Structure and scheduled it into Gantt Chart using Advance Use Case Point and Revised Use Case Point methods. Data collection was done by interview technique to Project Manager and observation on the software, which processed into use case diagram and use case scenario. Advance Use Case Point method produced an estimation of hours of effort for 2.229,4 working hours with total cost Rp 110,558,733.00 and worked by 26 people. Revised Use Case Point method produced an estimation of hours of effort for 1.679.8 hours working with total cost Rp 83.303.382,00 and worked by 26 people. Based on the results of comparison analysis, Advance Use Case Point method was recommended because it covered the End-User Development features required in the Sistem Reservasi Online Gedung Serbaguna PT GHL Peninsula.

Abstract

The Internet now has an important role, because by accessing the internet, people can find useful information according to their needs. Therefore, organizations are competing to use the internet media to support their operational activities in increasing the income of the organization. Erza Travel is one of the organizations engaged in the transportation of car rental service providers. Erza Travel is currently just starting their business. So they want to expand their business by building a website so that other public people know the existence of Erza Travel. The purpose of this study is to design a user interface travel website that can facilitate the user in using it. One method that can be used in designing a website user interface that allows users one of them is by using Human Centered Design. Stages performed in this research are (1) define and specify the context of use by defining stakeholders related (2) specifiy user requirements consisting of functional and non-functional requirements and modeled using use cases with RUP Style (3) designing design solutions derived from user requirements (4) evaluating designs that have been designed taking into user opinions made with interview with the users (5) improve the design solution that has been given feedback by the user. The result of this research is got the context of use where there are two main users from Erza Travel website that are potential customer and admin of Erza Travel. Needs obtained through interview with the user that is as much as 7 points. The result of the design solution is a wireframe designed based on user needs and design guidance. Design evaluation is done after the design is completed and done with interview technique with the user and got some suggestion, which then do the improvement of design according to suggestion submitted by user.

Abstract

PMI Malang has an unit called Unit Transfusi Darah (UTD). UTD PMI Malang is a health services facility with primary activities, that are blood donor service, blood supply, and blood distribution. In doing its primary activities, UTD PMI Malang cannot be separated with its support activities which support all of the primary. These primary and support activities are clasified using value chain analysis method to get activities that directly affect and connect effectively to optimize its service performance. Based on the observation, UTD PMI Malang has variations of service in every process. These variations of service are identified and evaluated for impact and its relation to the performance of service. Through the interview process, obtained 11 business processes that have relevance with variation of service in UTD PMI Malang, which is further modeled with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Modelling helps to see appearance of process variation, that make easier to determine the type of variability, wether included in variability by extention or by restriction. Then, these business process are evaluated with Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF), which results in 4 quality factors that having incompatibility between the target and its quality. Three of them affect the appearance of variation in provided service. These variation appear as variability by extension.

Abstract

E-government refers to the using of government agencies with information technology (internet, mobile computing, WAN) that has abilities to change relationships between citizens, business people and other government executives. Advantages of using e-government is increased transparency of information for residents of Surabaya. This research is used to identify risks in the application of e-budgeting and e-procurement systems managed by Administrasi Pembangunan which has been used for more than 10 years. The risk identification process in this study refers to the risk management techniques which is described by the PMBOK 5th edition (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and Pritchard in Risk Management Concepts and Guidance 5th edition. Risk management in this research is used for reviewing risks that may occur of the system. Risk management in this research uses expert judgment and rating schemes method. The result of using expert judgment method is, there are six risks faced by Administrasi Pembangunan: inflation, integration problem, human resource productivity, infrastructure, system development and short term employee. The result of qualitative analysis using rating schemes method is, there are seven high risk, four medium risks and one low risks.

Abstract

REST is a web-based client-server communication architecture. REST server provides data in the form of URL to be accessed by client in JSON form. The disadvantage of current REST architecture is the lack of authentication mechanism which allows anyone to access, change, or delete data. To solve the authentication problem from REST architecture, is required an authentication system. JWT is a token that is proposed to authenticate and ensure message integrity. Using JWT on the REST architecture can provide authentication and security. In JWT Implementation there are various hash algorithms used, one of them is HMAC-SHA256 algorithm which is SHA256 algorithm using message authentication code (MAC). In 2011, the vulnerability of SHA256 is found which is preimage attack and pseudo collision attacks. BLAKE2S algorithm is an algorithm created in 2012 succeding BLAKE algorithm. BLAKE2S algorithm offers better security since it is built with HAIFA iteration and ChaCha stream cipher. This research implemented BLAKE2S algorithm on JWT for REST API service authentication mechanism as alternative HMAC-SHA256 algorithm. Test-vector is performed to ensure the test-vector given in RFC document. The Authentication process of BLAKE2S is 88.583 ms.

Abstract

In Indonesia, games have become a game that people love. Both from adults, teenagers, to children. Players in Indonesia have reached 43.7 million where 26% are people aged 21-35 years, then 21% of them are people aged 10 -20 years. If playing too long this can lead to a problem especially on their health. If they play the game for too long, then their eyes can feel sore, and otherwise can make headache caused by lack of room lighting. In addition to the problem of games there are also other problems, that problem is the resource they used. Therefore, there are systems that will provide notifications when gamers play unhealthy. Hopefully they can play in sufficient place of lighting, play within a safe distance from the monitor and prevent them from playing for too long. This system will be active continuously so it needs a lowpower method to suppress the use of resources, current, and the system can be active for as long as possible. The current that the system uses after testing is 3.8 mA in sleep state and when normally it's 169.9 mA. In addition to current testing, tested also how the level of accuracy of the sensor and obtained the accuracy of the distance sensor of 98.07% and then the accuracy of LDR sensor of 96.42%.

Abstract

Development process of a software in organization that is in the Information Technology industry will be a determining the success of these organization. PT. ABC is an Information Technology organization that is famous among government. Some of the products that produced by PT. ABC is used in educational world. The best processes of project management are needed for supporting the progress in educational world. Project at PT.ABC had some problems in its implementation. The purpose of this research is to assess the software development maturity level in the Product Development Division of PT. ABC started from the basic project management process using the CMMI for Development 1.3 framework. The result of this research is an actual maturity level of PT. ABC. This research will give improvement recommendations to achieve a higher maturity level based on the CMMI for Development 1.3 framework. The data used in this research were collected using questionnaires and document tracking. The process of appraisal using Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) class C. The process areas evaluated in this research are 6 process area which is at maturity level 2. Based on the assessment, from 6 process areas evaluated, there has been no area process that are comply CMMI criteria. From overall of the result, PT. ABC is still at maturity level 1 or initial. Recommendations provided by researchers are expected to help PT. ABC to making improvements according to the CMMI for Development 1.3 framework.

Abstract

The Consumer Price Index is one of the indicators to measure the inflation rate in Indonesia. In 2017 inflation in Indonesia by expenditure group in general is 3,61%. The group of housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel become the biggest contributor of inflation compared to six other groups with 5,14%. Therefore, the prediction needs to be done to anticipate and reduce domestic inflation rate. Prediction done in this research using method of Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) with initialization of weight using Nguyen-Widrow initialization. The data used in this research are 84 Consumer Price Index data of housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel from January 2011 until December 2017. The data obtained from the official website of Bank Indonesia (www.bi.go.id). The result of this research is the minimum RMSE value of 0,72 with the number of features = 7, the amount of training data is 30 and the testing data is 11, the number of hidden neurons = 7, and the activation function is sigmoid binary function.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Kota Probolinggo is a government agency and responsible for communication, informatics, statistics, and encryption. According to interview there are some problems encountered in Diskominfo such as some activity are not supported by documentation and SOP for providing service IT, lack of human resource management cause inapproriate assigment to their basic tasks and functions, in addition the evaluation is still for finances and not for information technology, therefore it is needed to evaluate for IT governance to finding the solutions to these problems. In this research will talk about IT governance using COBIT 4.1 framework focus on Deliver and Support (DS) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME) domain. The purposes of this research are assessing current maturity level on domain Deliver and Support and Monitor and Evaluate and giving recommendation to achieve expected maturity level. On Deliver and Support domain the average of current maturity level is 1,61 and for Monitor and Evaluate domain the average of current maturity level is 1,25. The purpose of recommendations is to improve current maturity level so Diskominfo can improve their IT governance, one of the given reccomendation is documenting and socializing for the trainning program that has been done.
