Abstract

Every company has data that must be stored in digital form. Along with the development of the company, the data that needs to be stored will be more and more, so that the storage space needed will also be greater. In addition, data security factors also need to be considered. One method of securing data is by encrypting data. In the research conducted is an encryption algorithm analysis, which according to the results of the analysis shows that the AES algorithm shows an algorithm recommended as an algorithm to secure file usage. This study proposed an analysis of the AES encryption method. There are several parameters for testing the encryption method, namely encryption costs, computation time and testing several file formats encrypted and decrypted with file size references for document and image file formats, for audio and video file formats referring to the time duration, then from each file format selected two file extensions used for testing. Based on the results of the test shows that the AES encryption method provides good results for a number of file formats, AES-128 is able to encrypt files well even though it requires a long computing time in some of the file extensions tested. The time needed for the encryption and decryption process using the AES algorithm is affected by each different file size, the larger the file size used, the longer computation time needed.

Abstract

Goatshare one source of animal protein that is in demand by Indonesian people after cattle and chickens. However, disease in goats is an important thing that must be considered, because it can cause harm to farmers and can even cause livestock deaths. The problem of recognizing the symptoms of goat disease can be solved by using the system. So a system was made to identify diseases in goats, so that farmers could find out the types of diseases that attacked and handled them appropriately. The method used is fuzzy tsukamoto. Fuzzy Tsukamoto method is one method that can be used to process the value of symptom input to identify disease. The initial step of this method includes the value of the symptom of the disease. Then do fuzzification calculations, inference calculations and defuzzification calculations. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out in this study, the accuracy of the 50 test data is 94%.

Abstract

Nowadays, mushroom cultivations are growing rapidly in the society. Mushrooms have been becoming the popular groceries because of it's affordable price for all people. In it's growth process, Mushroom will need two main factors in order to grow properly; which are : temperature and humidity of the room. These two factors need to be controlled continuously to fit the ideal value limit. The ideal temperature for mushroom growth ranges between 25-30 â—‹C and the air humidity ranges between 60-90%. To overcome these problems, we proposed a system that can continuosly monitor temperature and humidity of mushroom house using MQTT protocol. To detect temperature and humidity, DHT-22 sensor is used. The sensor data will be processed by Arduino microcontroller and then sent using ESP8266-01 Wi-fi module which connected through the Wi-fi network to the Thingsboard server using MQTT protocol. Finally the data will be displayed in the form of charts and graphs. We evaluate the system using the delay test by calculating the time required by each sensor to process and read the data until the data is sent and displayed on the Thingsboard server. The results of delay test have confirmed that the system takes an average of 1.20 seconds in a single delivery of data to the Thingsboard server.

Abstract

The library and archive website of Malang Region is one form of service from the Malang City Government especially under the responsibility of the Malang City Library and Archives Service. There is research on the Department of Library and Archives of the City of Malang, it is known that there are usability problems on the website they have, so that it affects the level of performance and services that are still below the user's expectations. The method used in this study is a Human Centered Design (HCD) approach that involves users at the stages carried out. HCD has the steps to be discussed, including understanding and specify context of usage, user requirement, design solutions, and design evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the prototype design with the application of the HCD approach has a better usability value than the current Malang Library and Archive website. In the aspect of effectiveness has increased, the website is currently categorized as normal while the prototype design is categorized as good. In the aspect of efficiency, the time needed to do the task has decreased time and the results of the questionnaire increased. So that the user does not need more resources to do the task. In the aspect of satisfaction has increased, the score obtained on the website today can be categorized as poor and unacceptable, while the score on the prototype can be categorized as excellent and can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

Server is part of important thing in a service inside computer network. the purpose of server can determine how fine the quality of the services. More request will make the server have more loads and decreasing performance of server. The solution is to use multiple servers that implement load balancing method, so that servers performance becomes more stable. Load balancing method implemented in software defined network. This architecture offers scalability and programmability for more complex network like load balancing for web server. There are any research about load balancing in SDN with several method implemented, they are round robin method, CPU usage based method and response time based method. This research give analysis to performance of round robin method, CPU usage based method and response time based method. The trial are doing to three categories of rates, they are low for rate 40, medium for rate 80 and high for rate 160. The trial are doing in 10 seconds for each rate. The parameters used in this trial are throughput and CPU usage. The throughput test resulting that round robin is excellent in low category with average value 32,64 KB/s, meanwhile in medium and high category response time method is more excellent with average values 65,02 KB/s and 115,50 KB/s. Whereas, in CPU usage test, CPU usage method have the lowest standart deviation with average values 3,95%, 4,69%, and 5,90%.

Abstract

Indonesian's rural communities really familiar with goat cattling, that's because the fund for it's nurturing more cheaper and they breed faster.The main factor to nurturing is the health of the goat itself if the goat get sick, it will become disadvantage for them. So that's why health issues become the main factor.If there's disease indications exist, the early handling must be done soon. A disease diagnose is first thing to do.But, the awareness to diagnose the disease are still unknown. That's make the cattleman feel uneasy to handle it.Therefore, it need a system to help them to clasify the disease.This goat disease's research used algoritme support vector machine with one againts all strategy. The data that used are 148 datas with 11 disease classes, there are wormy, endometritis, paralizing, bloated, poisoning, Masistis, Myasis, Orf, Pink Eye, Pneumonia and Scabies.The accuracy result that get from this system is 90% with using the best parameter that called k-fold cross validation 10 , λ= 0.1, C = 0,1, iterasi = 500 and σ = 1.

Abstract

Nowadays, motorcycle is no longer a luxury item for most people. Almost the whole community at least had motorcycle. Motorcycle became one of the main means of transportation which more dynamic and faster compared to other means of transport, and this is provable by the large number of motorcyclists compared to another user of transportation means on the road. Not surprising that motorcycle is the largest cause for accident in traffic. One of the causes of the accident on a motorcycle is from motorcycle engines. But as most motorcyclist are still much less savvy about the damage to their motorcycle engines because there are various kind of failure. A method of classification can be implemented into the software to know which part of motorcycle engines that get damaged or failure. One example is the Naive Bayes. Naive Bayes Classifier is a simple probability classification based on Bayes theorem which has Bayes inference in general, especially with a strong independence of assumptions. The theory of certainty using a value called the Certainty Factor (CF) to assume a degree of confidence to a data. The variable used in this study is a list of symptoms and damage to motorcycle engines. Highest accuracy resulting in this research is 90%.

Abstract

Lecturer Information System (SIADO) is a web-based information system that aims to facilitate lecturers in staffing administration. Some of the lecturers are still not maximizing SIADO so evaluation is needed to determine the level of acceptance of the system with a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on the variables of computer self-efficacy, attitude toward using and university support. The study used quantitative-descriptive method with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The population was taken as many as 2192 active lecturers in Brawijaya University with a total sample of 96 people which calculated by Slovin equation. The result was categorized in order to determine the level of dominance of each variable by calculating the total score of the respondents' answers divided by the maximum total score, the result times 100% obtained the results of five categories, namely, very low, low, medium, high and very high. The results showed that the university support (71.9%), computer self-efficacy (71%) and attitude toward using (73%) were classified into the high category. Recommendations include: improving the lecturers's experience of SIADO, creating a model for self-lecturers and improving social persuasive in the lecturer environment such as organizing SIADO operation training, improving web security, reducing functions or features that are not related to lecturer's tasks, maintaining a simple interface in order for users to always feel ease and the university can give appreciation or reward to users who have high intensity of SIADO usage.

Abstract

Solving problems through guidance and counseling (GC) service with counseling is one of the way that Computer Science Faculty Brawijaya University's students do. But there are many students who haven't use the service. Besides, the GC service hasn't had an information system that can manage the data counseling and the psycotest. Almost all of the activities are still using conventional method, it's caused the data counseling and the psycotest process become slow. The GC service needs a system that can connect the students and the counselor to do counseling indirectly, and it can manage the data counseling and the psycotest. Rational Unified Process (RUP) is a developing method that is choosed to be used in this research because it can control the changing from the system, and it has a good documentation. RUP is used by doing inception, elaboration, contruction, and transition. The result test that has got is all of the functional requirements are all valid with 100% score of validation. Then, the result of compatibility test shows that the system has a good compatibility, The user acceptance testing also provides that the students has score 81,3% with the system's acceptance, and the counselor has score 88,57% with the system's acceptance too. It means that the system is accepted by both the students and the counselor well.

Abstract

With the increasing development of wireless technology, which provoke the cyberattack using wireless technology increase as well, this would make user data be put to risk. One of the cyberattack that exploit wireless technology is Rogue Access Point. To prevent this, RAP detection system was made with comparing round trip time method. This system sent a DNS lookup to get round trip time. RAP would return much longer round trip time value than the legitimate access point, this happen because the added hop that was passed during the trip to RAP. To minimalize the impact from unstable network that would affect the accuracy of detection system, filtering mechanism is used to filter round trip time value that is deemed as an anomaly. Testing will be done to the two similar access point which one of them is the RAP. Round trip time value from both access point will be compared, which will be used as parameter to determine RAP. In this research the accuracy detection would be never less than 90%.
