Abstract

The application of Wi-Fi networks is getting easier, even now it can be found on some public transport. So it is not impossible if applied to passenger trains. However, the implementation of passenger trains may be confronted by several issues such as coverage area (railway) which is made of iron and steel. As in previous research, observing railway propagation losses is important because it affects signal strength (We, Ito, Yokoyama, Tseng, Sagawa, Ogasawara) and based on research on wifi network optimization in the recovery room there are several aspects that need Be considered as aspect of propagation, and coverage area aspect. (Widyaningsih, 2013) Therefore it is necessary to observe and calculate the appropriate, so as to produce an effective design. Up to the furthest distance of 21 meters the Link Budget calculator the RSL value is -43 dBm and SOM is 51 dB, with the value known that the radiated signal can spread well. And for the calculation of the number of Access Point based on the reach of the Access Point and the capacity of the client obtained at least 3 Access Point that can meet the needs in passenger trains. And from the application of the simulation with the placement of 3 Access Point, with a maximum transmit power of 18 dBm and also the application of different channels, has resulted in an average value of RSSI -35 dBm to -55 dBm, which with the value of signal characteristics interpreted in very good (Excellent).

Abstract

Tourism is one of the important sectors in Banyuwangi Regency. An unexpected increase in the number of tourists makes it difficult for tourism department to give their best service. On the contrary, if there is a reduction, it will cause the decrease of the occupancy rate and the tourism sector that already exist. Forecasting the number of tourists is needed to determine the number of visitors in the future, so the solution can be anticipated as early as possible when number of tourists is more or less than the targeted. Forecasting that conducted in this study was using Fuzzy Logical Relationship and Genetic Algorithm. Fuzzy Logical Relationship is used to forecast the number of tourist based on tourist data history, then Genetic Algorithm is used to perform optimization interval distribution that will be used on Fuzzy Logical Relationship. Data that were used as many as 144 historical data from January 2005 to December 2016, number of tourist data was achieved from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Banyuwangi Regency. The results of the tests that was conducted on forecasting the number of visitors using the FLR and GA equations produce 280x10-9 in fitness which means the difference between the average of actual data and the result of forecasting is 3572978344 in MSE.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is the 4th largest cause of death in the world and causes more deaths than other diseases so needed serious attention is required. One that can be done is by diet therapy that is composing daily food menu. Diabetic diet is done with attention of energy, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats with precise and accurate. The calculation of the patient's energy can be done manually or with the help of a system that implements an algorithm. If done by manual process will take a long time especially if the available food is very much and diabetic diet every complication has different needs. With the help of computation process system will take place quickly and if applied a calculation algorithm will yield more optimal solution, one of the algorithm is genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithm is a heuristic method that is a search method, in implementation there are rules to obtain a better solution than the previous solution. Genetic algorithm is widely applied to various optimization problems so it is also expected to optimize the problem on the optimization of food composition. The results obtained from the research conducted are individuals in the optimal population of 250 individuals with the number of generations of 145 and the combination of cr and mr most optimal is 0.7 and 0.3 with fitnes 0. 01857.

Abstract

Kober Mie Satan Soekarno Hatta branch is a company engaged in the field of food. The number of consumer demand of restaurant Kober Mie Setan Soekarno Hatta branch that is erratic every time affect the remaining raw materials. Raw materials that are stored for too long are not good for consumption. When demand is low and the raw materials provided are high, then the rest of the raw materials from the day's sales will be discarded. In order for raw materials are not wasted, then the sales prediction required by Kober Mie Setan Sukarno Hatta branch. With these sales predictions the restaurant can prioritize the expenditure of certain menu ingredients that have a high interest so that the remaining raw materials can be reduced. This research applies method of artificial neural network (JST) that is Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) to predict the sales of noodles in Kober Mie Setan restaurant of Soekarno Hatta branch. The prediction process of noodles sales in Kober Mie Setan is normalization of data, training process, testing process, data denormalization, and error value calculation using Mean Square Error (MSE). ELM method has advantages in learning speed and small error rate. Based on the tests conducted to determine the differences in the use of data features in this study resulted in the smallest error rate of 0.0171 using the features of historical data and features of residual sales data.

Abstract

Surya Optima Nusa Raya is a plastic Manufacturing Company. From the observations and discussions that have been conducted, found that the employees whose their contract have been expires can not confirm their attendance automatically on the attendance system that has existed in the company because the process of their extension contract has not been completed, and the agreements only occur by the mouth only, plus the attendance system considers that employees whose their contract expires has left the company without regard to the process of their extension contract has been completed or not. Early warning systems can be a solution for monitoring the contract and provide a warning. To do that, the system analyst must clarify the requirement by using some requirement analysis method in requirement engineering phase. One method that can be used to produce a more detailed requirements is to adopt a collaborative approach athena on requirements elicitation. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded the process of requirements engineering software by applying a collaborative approach Athena successfully analyzed 24 system requirements from total of 26 requirements. Based on the results of measurement requirement metric, it can be concluded that the quality of document software requirements specification requirements that have been obtained by applying a collaborative approach athena has met some standard metrics that exist in the metric requirement

Abstract

Information technology is growing in this era makes things become faster. In this research, the researcher tries to model and apply business process using ERP program as the foundation in ERP system development at Griya Laundry Company. In this research is the business process used by the company and modeled in the form of Business Process & Notation. Implementation of software using web programming language. The use of HTML, PHP, CI Framework, JQuery, and CSS as the foundation of the application builder programming. Based on the test results obtained, GLErp system can be accepted by. Preferably in terms of benefits, satisfaction, use in use, and ease of learning with percentage of 68,20%. Based on the results of the validation tests obtained, the GLErp application has fulfilled all the needs.

Abstract

Parking lot is one of many facilities owned by all faculties in Brawijaya University. But, usually the available parking space is full at certain times. So, the students usually have to search for the empty parking slots by them selves. Currently in Universitas Brawijaya there is no application that can provide information about the parking lot that still has empty space. This research aims to make a mobile device application to provide recommendation of parking lot which still have empty space. This application uses longitude and Latitude of Google API fiture and tested using blackbox method. From the validation tests performed, the features in the application work well with a 100% percentage. Beside validation testing, there also performed quisionaire tests and field tests which results are considered as good. For each question, there is 20% rate for very good, 60% for good, and 20% for fair on average. This application can be used to help users, both students and parking officers to conduct business processes in the parking lot of Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

Robot arm or commonly known as Robot Manipulator is one types of robot that mostly used by the industrial society. Robot arm is generally controlled by a joystick and button. The inventor wanted to design a robot arm control system using sensors accelerometer combined with microcontroller Arduino UNO. Robot manipulator will be controlled by a human hand and arm so that the robot can follow the movements of the hand and arm. Microcontroller hardware implementation is suitable with the design in the microcontroller which uses 2 modules MPU6050 accelerometer sensor, an Arduino Nano, also cable as a medium for data transmission. This microcontroller as the data receiver from the accelerometer sensor 1 and 2 which then being processed and produced by output that will end on the robot manipulator. Test placing of sensor aims to determine the value of each sensor position on the arm and to know the right position to put the accelerometer sensor. In this test the result value can change, when the sensor is placed on the arm at a distance of 10cm from shoulder is 151⁰-152⁰, 18cm from shoulder 157⁰-158⁰. This is because the accelerometer sensor mpu6050 has high sensitivity when mounted on a moving object, the sensor values can change quickly even though the object is only moving little bit

Abstract

Technology development can make human works easier in various fields, for example health field. One of the example technology application in health field is automatically blood pressure measurement. Technology that can do thing like that is Internet of Things. Internet of Things is a concept where physical object like refrigerators, lights, etc can communicate with each other through a protocol, such as Bluetooth Low Energy. Bluetooth Low Energy is a Classic Bluetooth development version that specifically implemented on Internet of Things. Bluetooth Low Energy has advantages over other protocols such as better power saving, wide connectivity range and fast data transmission. Therefore, researcher conducted research by implementing Bluetooth Low Energy in real life which is blood pressure measurement. The results of this study show that blood pressure monitoring works succesfully where the sensor can monitor the blood pressure automatically and the data results succesfully sent via Bluetooth Low Energy. In this research, Bluetooth Low Energy data transmission performance is tested with two scenarios, distance modification and connection interval modification. The average of delivery delay is 2.81 seconds and 2.6 seconds respectively. These test scenarios show that distance & connection interval can affect the Bluetooth Low Energy performance

Abstract

Examination on goats disease periodically is getting less now, so it makes the goats get diseases easily. This makes breeders have difficulty in the first treatment and the don't know what they should do without an expert. The process of diagnosis of diseases on goats can't be done by just anyone because of the type of disease with symptoms have uncertainty. Based on these problems, the author makes an expert system that is able to diagnosis diseases on goats as usually do an expert. This expert system uses Naive Bayes and Certainty Factor method, PHP programming language and MySQL database. Experimental functional test results show all functional requirements can run well. In addition, the results of system accuracy testing using f-measure method is 86,80%. With the amount of accuracy, expert system diagnosis of goats diseases uses Naive Bayes and Certainty Factor method has a good performance.
