Abstract

Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a topology that consist of several wireless nodes which can configure dynamically without using fix existing network infrastructure. Nodes in MANET can move freely and between nodes are connected through wireless networks. Due to the dynamic topology, an appropriate routing protocol is needed in determining the routing path between nodes in MANET topology. Ad-hoc On Demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) is a multipath routing protocol which used in this research. Multipath routing protocols can determine several routes between source nodes and destination nodes, this will provide benefits in terms of performance such as increased performance on network reliability. Beside routing protocol, a mobility model is needed to maintain the movement of nodes. Gauss-Markov is a mobility model used in this research, where Gauss-Markov will maintain movement of nodes based on the speed and angle (alpha) of movement. This research discuss analysis Ad-hoc On Demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) routing protocol using the Gauss-Markov mobility model on Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) using Network simulator 2. The results of the simulation are if the number of nodes and the area of the simulation are increasing the value of end to end delay and normalized routing overhead will be increased, while the value of throughput tends to be decreased.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks 6th in the number of people with diabetes mellitus in the world. Of the 10.3 million Indonesians who have diabetes only 36.3 percent are diagnosed. As a result, many people do not have the right diet. The family of people with diabetes mellitus means a family with at least one member suffering from diabetes mellitus. This family is one of the factors that can increase the risk of suffering from diabetes mellitus by two to six times. Unhealthy lifestyles are also a cause of diabetes mellitus which makes diabetes a disease that can be prevented by consuming the right food starting from daily food in the family. Things that need to be considered in the right diet is to determine the composition of the right food, namely how to optimize nutrition in foods consumed by people with diabetes mellitus. Genetic algorithms that have reliability in producing optimal output, can be utilized in the preparation of daily food composition. In this study used integer chromosome representation, extended intermediate crossover method, reciprocal exchange mutation method, and elitism selection method. The best solution is obtained using max generation of 709 generation; population size of 250 individual; crossover rate of 0,4; and mutation rate of 0,6. The results of the global analysis show the calorie content of the food composition of the system meets expert tolerance standards and on average system can save costs by 27,27%.

Abstract

Logistics field at PT. PJB UBJOM Paiton Power Plant oversees three other areas of the field of inventory, procurement, and warehouse. In the inventory field, there is a problem of not achieving the company's target in three business process areas from four areas owned by the inventory field. Based on self-assessment data for the third quarter of 2017, the three areas that have not met the target are cataloging, request order making and implementation policymaking. From these problems, it is necessary to evaluate the measurement of the problems that occur in the company, in order to know the factors that cause the unfulfilled targets. The Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method is used because it can find the gap between the target and the result of the calculation. Business processes that have been modeled using Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) will provide mapping results on the quality factors of each business process. After obtaining an inappropriate factor between the target and the calculation result from the calculation result, then the root problem analysis is done using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Analysis using FTA can help the company to find the root of the problems found from the problems obtained based on the evaluation results. The advantage of using the FTA method is to identify the relationship between the causes of the problems found. The result of this research is finding 4 factors of evaluation result with QEF method which is not in accordance with target based on the calculation result. And the discovery of 12 root problems from the analysis based on the four factors of the evaluation results.

Abstract

SAMBAT Online is a form of e-Government realization in Malang City. SAMBAT Online or The Integrated Online Community Application System is a platform of a website provided by the Malang City Government to receive complaints, criticisms, suggestions, or questions to the government. Each incoming report will be grouped manually by the SAMBAT Online system manager. Grouping is based on The Regional Work Unit (SKPD) which is handled manually. Therefore, a classification system was built to save time in the process of grouping reports to SKPD using the Naive Bayes method and the Combination of Feature Selection between Chi-Square and Information Gain. In the tests conducted, the system succeeded in providing better accuracy results when using feature selection than without using feature selection with an accuracy value of 83.33%. Furthermore, when a feature selection combination is performed, the results of the accuracy obtained are the same as the results without a combination of 83.33%. So, the combination of selection has not been able to provide better results.

Abstract

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is an unmanned aircraft that is widely used by the community. One type of UAV is a quadcopter. Quadcopter is often used in various fields namely military, industry and others. Quadcopter has four rotor with different speed for each rotor. One of the problems on the quadcopter is controlling speed. The speed of the quadcopter at the time of movement is not the same as the speed assigned by the user. This can lead to the occurrence of friendship and the presence of accidents on quadcopter. Use of Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) to stabilize speed. The first step done in this research is to calculate LQR that is by determining matrix A, B, C, D which will be implemented in quadcopter. The next stage is to input the distance on to be taken by the quadcopter. This test is done by testing the stability of the speed for each distance in the input by the user, as well as the accuracy of the distance traveled quadcopter. The distance used by the user is 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, and 3m. The results of the tests that have been done to obtain the results with the accuracy of the distance traveled is in accordance with the distance used by the user and for speed also remain stable for every distance traveled. The average time required by the quadcopter to reach any distance in sequence is 1.2 seconds, 2.43 seconds, 2.07 seconds, 3.35 seconds and 4.07 seconds.

Abstract

Jurnal Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Ilmu Komputer (J-PTIIK) is a collection of scientific papers from the research Faculty of Computer Science's students, Universitas Brawijaya. In each journal there is an abstract section which is a summary of the entire contents of the scientific work document, which contains concepts, problem statements, approaches, and conclusions that are arranged. The number of journals contained in J-PTIIK is very large, therefore a document search system is needed to facilitate users in finding journal documents, a search system that implements an Information Retrieval (IR). To minimize the results of returning documents that are not relevant to the IR, query techniques can be applied, called query expansion techniques. Application of query expansion can be done by using BM25 method. BM25 is an IR that is used to sort the results of the relevance documents to the query that user want to search. This research was conducted by aiming to see the results of query expansion in information retrieval of Indonesian journal using BM25 method. The result, when adding words for queries as many as 4 words, the Precision @ K value increases by an average of 0.492.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a network of several nodes that do sensing and can control the environment, can contain interactions between humans and computers and the state of the environment. WSN has several components that are used for environmental monitoring such as sensor nodes and gateways to collect sensor data. Both components communicate with wireless technology intermediaries. One of the wireless technologies is LoRa. LoRa is a low-power wireless technology that uses the radio spectrum. LoRa characteristics that can accommodate long distances and low power consumption, are suitable to be applied to the WSN. But there are shortcomings in the implementation of LoRa, namely the absence of a gateway discovery system in LoRa. From this explanation, this research focuses on creating gateway discovery system to overcome these shortcomings. The performance test results show that the system built can function up to a distance of 1000 meters. At the maximum distance of performance testing, namely 1000 meters, the association time value is 354.4 milliseconds, unicast loss is 6% and broadcast loss is 20%. This has an impact on the performance of gateway discovery system because increase value of these parameters, the system performance will get worse.

Abstract

OpenFlow switches are network switches based on the OpenFlow protocol in forwarding packets on an SDN network. The various switch vendors have provided OpenFlow-enabled networks to support various versions of the OpenFlow protocol. In the implementation of switch there are capacity limitations of TCAM on line-speed forwarding and only accommodate a limited number of streams. Therefore, it will produce different performance. In this study, the authors conducted an analysis of performance OpenFlow switch Aruba 2920. In addition, it uses the emulator mininet as a reference for comparing network performance. The test results show that the system can search several paths in the network topology and along with the path formation time or referred to as convergance time. Tests show that throughput and packet loss on multi-path routing produce better performance, but convergence time is slightly longer than single-path routing. The resulting performance on the Aruba 2920 OpenFlow switch network is very low compared to the emulator mininet, because there are limitations to the group table type select and thrash packet headers on the hardware table so that the flow table is managed in software table.

Abstract

Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a network architecture consisting of several nodes that move freely and communicate with each other. Each node can function as a router or client for other nodes. MANET has 3 types of routing protocols, namely proactive, reactive and hybrid routing protocols. BATMAN (Better Approach to Mobile Adhoc Network) is one of the routing protocols on MANET. In terms of security, MANET is still vulnerable to various forms of attacks, especially against active attacks that can destroy, modify, and delete data and information. One type of active attack that can occurs in MANET is blackhole attack. Blackhole Attack is an attack that can cause loss of data packets. Based on the above problems, the authors made a study entitled Analysis the Effect of Blackhole Attack on the Performance of the BATMAN (Better Approach To Mobile Adhoc Network) Routing Protocol on Mobile Adhoc Network. The results obtained in this study are blackhole attacks affect the performance of the BATMAN routing protocol. Testing is done using OMNET ++ with a test scenario in the form of variations in number of nodes, number of attacking nodes, and area of ​​the simulation. Test parameters used are packet delivery ratio (PDR) and packet loss. The packet loss calculation is only done on packets dropped by the attacker node. The test results show that the lowest packet delivery ratio is 14,24% in the 30 node scenario with an area of ​​1200x1200 m2. While the highest average packet loss is 56.62% in the 30 node scenario with an area of ​​1000x1000 m2.

Abstract

Health is one of important thing, because an awful lot of diseases that can causing difficulties when moving, so we need tools like a wheelchair. wheelchairs have an awful lot of development, one of which namely electric wheelchairs. The application of electric wheelchair still not have a feature to adjust the speed while on the uphill and downhill road conditions so that safety and comfort will be reduced. Speed control system using proportional control while on the condition of the streets uphill and downhill works by checking the condition of the slope sensor path with GY-521 MPU6050 whose value will be used as the parameters change speed maximum. the speed read by the Encoder FC-03 was calculated using proportional control which will produce output to set the speed of the motor and will always check if it's value has reached set point is expected. on the uphill road conditions the system will add speed to the value of RPM can match the set point, whereas at the moment the road conditions decreased system will lower the speed so the RPM value can be fixed in accordance with the set point. The testing results of this system show the percentage success system when uphill road condition of 78.5% and when downhill road condition is 85.61%.
