Abstract

Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) East Java Province published website for the aim of sharing information and conducting communication with the society, especially in East Java Province region. On current time, website-based communication has became an urgency for the institutions due to large number of narcotics misuse in Indonesian society. This research is focused on evaluation and improvement of the institution's website in user interface aspect by using Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. HCD is used for developing interactive systems with the aim to make the system usable and useful. This research applies the principle of process customization, ie the stages of HCD will be adjusted based on the current condition of the website. The research is started with context of use analysis, initial design evaluation, user's requirement analysis, solution design production, and solution design evaluation. The result of the research has shown that after the application of HCD method, the user interface has a better usability value than before the implementation of the HCD method. The usability value of efectivity aspect in initial design is 45.71%, while the value is increased to 100% on solution design. On the efficiency aspect, usability value in initial design is 46.20% and in solution design is increased to 100%. Average time to done all tasks in solution design is decreased compared to initial design. In the aspect of user satisfaction, the percentage of user satisfication in initial design is 40.75% and in solution design is increased to 81.75%.

Abstract

There are very few native townspeople of Malang City, who know the motorcycle rental in Malang City. In fact, as already know, the city of Malang is a tourist city which is always crowded by visitors. Plus each person has different criteria in choosing a motorcycle rental. Scratch facilities make users have difficulty in choosing a motorcycle rental in Malang City. To solve these problems required decision support system (DSS) to support and facilitate the user in choosing a motorcycle rental. The DSS method must have a low time complexity. Application android recommendation of motorcycle rental in malang city by AHP TOPSIS method based on location based services is an application that gives recommendation of motorcycle rental in malang city according to weight of interest criteria entered by user. These criteria include the price of 125cc motorcycle rental per day, the location of the motorcycle rental, the popularity and rating of the motorcycle rental. Tests of this research resulted that the percentage of usability reached the value of 82.82%, where this value is included in good category, then the functional test result is 100%, then the conformity test also stated that this application has 90% test result value.

Abstract

Rainfall is the amount of rain that occurs in an area within a certain period of time. Information of rainfall is useful in various fields such as agriculture. In the field of agriculture, the information of rainfall can affect the annual planting period and also can determine what kind of crops that are suitable to be planted. Malang Regency is one areas in Indonesia which has 36.359 Ha farming area and produce rice equal to 470.285 Ton. Rice crops have a common criteria for determining the beginning of the rice growing season, with the amount of rainfall more than 50 mm in three consecutive dasarians. But the current wet season is uncertain which resulted in the process of rice cultivation is disrupted. Therefore, rainfall prediction is needed to help farmers to reduce the possibility of loss. Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method can be used to predict rainfall by utilizing dasarian data of rainfall, temperature, humidity, and wind speed. Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is a combination of neural network and fuzzy logic. In the learning process of Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), there is backpropagation steepest descent and least square Iestimator (LSE) algorithm. Based on the test results using the best parameters, it obtain best RMSE value of 1.88.

Abstract

LINE TODAY is an online news site that provides up to date news articles and comes from trusted news sources. To make it easier to find news, a search engine is needed so news is quick to get. But in the search process, sometimes the queries entered are not in accordance with the results of news articles obtained. So it is necessary to do query expansion to help get more specific news articles, query expansion will expand previously ambiguous queries to be more structured. Query expansion begins with preprocessing stages, followed by weighting TF.IDF, as well as cosine similarity to the calculation of the idea-dec-hi and ide-regular method. Based on the implementation and testing carried out on the Query Expansion research on LINE TODAY, Using Ide-Dec-Hi and ide-regular Algorithm by utilizing 200 training data and 25 queries that are in accordance with the document, then the results for idea-dec-hi method that is the precision value is 0.6622, recall is 0.2314, f-measure is 0.2987, and the accuracy is 0.9506. Where as for ide-regular method results in precision values of 0.6635, recall of 0.0146, f-measure of 0.0279, and accuracy of 0.9488. Accuracy values generated using the ide-dec-hi method increase up to 0.18% compared to the ide-regular method.

Abstract

The increasing population in Indonesia every year, which results in increased demand for food in Indonesia. While the increase in production of the country's agricultural production is still lacking, resulting in the government doing imports to meet food needs. Therefore, an effort is needed to improve better production, especially in rice, which is the staple food of the Indonesian population, one way to increase production is by planting seeds of superior varieties of rice. However, many criteria need to be considered in choosing which rice varieties are suitable to choose from in making choices. From these problems, there are several methods that can be implemented in solving problems with a system that is able to provide advice on the type of rice planted using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to give weights and the Weighted Product (WP) method is used to calculate alternative ranks and take values the highest as a final recommendation. In the testing phase with an accuracy method comparing the results of recommendations from the system compared to recommendations from experts, the resulting accuracy rate is 90.19607843%, so that it can be concluded that the AHP and WP methods can be used in recommending superior types of rice because they have high accuracy values above 90% nearing perfect from expert data.

Abstract

The role of the website for a governmental institution nowadays has become an important part of its institution, including the Pasuruan Regency Culture and Tourism Department. However, the website of the Culture and Tourism Department of Pasuruan Regency has never been evaluated since it is officially published on 2016, so that the Pasuruan Regency Culture and Tourism Department does not know the quality of its website. This study analyzed and measured the service quality of the Pasuruan Regency Culture and Tourism Office's websiter based on the user's point of view. User data is obtained by distributing questionnaires based on 3 dimensions in webqual 4.0, namely usability dimensions, information and service interaction. Then, the results of the questionnaire were analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of the analysis showed that the website of the Culture and Tourism Office of Pasuruan Regency is not in line with the expectations of users with the results of conformity analysis of 95.79% or <100% and the average analysis of the gap is -0.13 or <0. Priority improvements on this website were in the attribute of number 14 (website of the Culture and Tourism Department of Pasuruan Regency has provide detailed information) and 20 (website of the Culture and Tourism Department of Pasuruan Regency make it easy to communicate with the officer) which are attribute of quadrant A. Recommendations are given is an improvement on the attribute in quadrant A.

Abstract

Infrastructure development is a project that being intensively carried out by the current government. With the existence of good infrastructure, the government hopes that in the future the economy and the level of Indonesian welfare will increase. Infrastructure development attracts the community attention. Various comments regarding this project were mentioned through social media, for example Twitter. The number of pros and cons community comparisons known by using sentiment analysis. In this case, sentiment analysis uses a lexicon dictionary to determine whether the data is positive or negative. The lexicon dictionary created automatically using the Word2Vec method. Word2Vec method is used to find closeness between words.. Then, the sentiment class is determine using the Naive-Bayes method. This study uses 100 training data and 50 testing data divided into positive and negative sentiments. The highest accuracy value are 64% with precision of 0.36, re-call of 0.818 and f-measure of 0.5.

Abstract

Quest Travel Indonesia is a travel agency company in Indonesia for French tourists. During the operational practices, problems arise when recording tour program bookings which is recapitulated become roadbook report. The operational process that takes days and often occurs of human error. Besides that, the problems on the process of monitoring tour that rely communication by phone and documentation of monitoring are not really definite. Based on these problems, a roadbook information system web-based using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) to help fix the company's business process. By implementing the RUP, the problem solving process can be done well because the iteration process repeats on the stages from the beginning to the end of the system development that could minimize errors in the system while being developed. The result of this study is a roadbook information system tour travel program web-based that has 34 features consisting of 79 functional and 3 non functional requirement. This system passes 3 tests with the black-box testing method that produces valid values ​​on all test items, compatibility testing which results in a number of major and minor issues on several browser, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) which get final score of 93.3% or strongly agree. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the roadbook information system for tour travel programs can improve and support business processes including ease in managing order data recording, monitoring tour travel, and making roadbook reports.

Abstract

The e-report card value reporting system is used by high school to manage student grades. However, in operation there are still complaints from users of the system such as failing to function the print value causes the withdrawal of student report cards and system bugs when the value that should not exist but the system gives a value of 0. This study aims to evaluate the quality and success of the e-report card school for the continued implementation of e-report cards based on the Expectation-Confirmation Model and DeLone & McLean Model models. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires and interviews as supporting the results of the questionnaire. The sample used in this study was a saturated sample with 39 respondents from the curriculum, homeroom and school admin. The results of this study indicate the level of quality of e-report card system is 80.8%. In the Perceived of Usefulness variable, it is in the high category (83.2%), Confirmation is in the high category (80.4%), Satisfaction is in the high category (75%) and IS Continuance Intention is in the high category (84.6% ). The success rate of the e-report card system is 74.5%. In the Information Quality variable included in the high category (74.2% ), Quality System included in the high category (75.2% ), Service Quality variables included in the high category (60.8%), Use variables included in the high category (72% ), variables User Satisfaction is in the high category (80% ) and the Net Benefit variable is in the high category (85.2% ). Quality improvement recommendations will be given to the Confirmation and Satisfaction variable because it is below the total variable average. Then recommendations for increasing success will be given to the Information Quality, Service Quality and Use variables because they are below the total variable average.

Abstract

Based on Permen PAN-RB No.16 Tahun 2009, teacher promotion systems are calculated using credit grades, which are calculated according to the workload and activities of the teacher in the assessment period. In each period the number of submissions can reach hundreds. Every single data must go through the process of checking the completeness and validity of files, as well as the recapitulation manually. This conditions are felt to be very inefficient and waste a lot of time. Therefore an information system is needed to deal with the problem. The process of checking and recapitulation can be facilitated by using the Sistem Informasi Penetapan Angka Kredit Guru that is built using the waterfall method and implemented on the website platform. Furthermore, testing is carried out using validation testing, compatibility testing, and usability testing. The results of validation testing that have been done show that the system can work properly according to its functionality. As for the results of compatibility testing, the system can run well on several different browser versions. Then from the results of usability testing, shows that the system gets B grades which means it can be easily used by the user.
