Abstract

Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang is an educational institute that implements information technology in conducting business process activities. Utilization of information technology requires support from appropriate governance. Manajemen Sistem Informasi is the unit that responsible for handling the management of information technology in the campus environment. The results obtained from the distribution of questionnaire, interview and observation on the unit show that there are problems related to the planning and procurement of information technology. Due to this situation, an evaluation of information of technology management is required to find the solution to these problems. The evaluation is done using the COBIT 4.1 framework that focuses on the Plan and Organize and Acquire and Implement domains. The selection of these framework and domains is based on existing issues and COBIT 4.1 can assist institute in measuring the extent of maturity of information technology governance. Then analysis to the level of maturity that already obtained. The results show that the maturity level of the Plan and Organise domain is 1.8 and the Acquire and Implement domain is 1.0. Measurement results of maturity level is a reference in making recommendations. Recommendations are expected to assist Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang in improving technology governance to achieve the expected maturity targets. One of the recommendation is to improve the document of information technology strategic plan.

Abstract

In Dynamic Routing, EIGRP routing protocol and IS-IS routing protocol were the fastest routing protocol with convergence time compared to other routing protocols. With the difference algorithm used in EIGRP routing protocol and IS-IS routing protocol, it certainly makes a difference in characteristics and performance of both routing protocols. In this research Graphical Network Simulator 3 (GNS 3) is used to simulate EIGRP routing protocol and IS-IS routing protocol with Mesh topology. The test was performed using Mesh topology with 4 routers, 6 routers and 8 routers. Parameters used are Convergence time and Round Trip delay. The purpose of this research is to know which routing protocol is the most appropriate for use on Mesh topology and to know Convergence process when link was broken. In the results of this study can be shown that the EIGRP routing protocol has the fastest Convergence process because it uses the DUAL algorithm on the best path calculation. While the IS-IS routing protocol is a very easy routing protocol to be deployed on the network

Abstract

Infectious disease in humans have one of the general indications, that is Fever. There are three diseases with symptoms of fever that transmission of disease occurs by the media Arthropod-borne disease, such as dengue fever, malaria, and typhoid. The disease has almost the same clinical symptoms, that is difficult to make a diagnosis of the disease suffered by the patient. Because of a large number of patient and a high risk of death in this disease, need a system that can distinguish these three diseases quickly and precisely. To solve the problem, the system is needed to classify the disease with fever symptoms using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. This research uses 130 datasets that have 15 parameters. The dataset is divided into train data and test data by using K-Fold Cross Validation method, with k=10. The final result from SVM algorithm implementation for disease classification with symptoms of fever is the accuracy of the system capabilities in classifying dengue fever class, malaria class, and typhoid class. So, the best average value of accuracy in this implementation is 99.23%, using k-fold cross validation, with k=10, division of data ratio=90%:10%, and the parameters used are lamda=0.5, gamma=0.01, C(Complexity)=1, epsilon=0.0001, maximum iteration=20.

Abstract

With the development of the economy marked by the era of globalization and the rapid advancement of technology, allows the availability of means for the fulfillment of customer needs will goods and services becomes much easier. That situation will make the intense competition between both companies of them produce products or services. Therefore, the sales and the customer service in a companies becomes the key to competing. To make it easier, the service to customers like to know info about promo, like a promo good bike or purchase reminder time service the motor it can be done via the social messaging service that I've integrated the system with WhatsApp. The results of the research there were six actors, eighty-one functional needs. As well as the test results are 100% valid.

Abstract

Tax consultant office I Gede Arianta is an office that provides professional services of calculation, depositing and reporting for various types of taxation. At this office one client has one staff member responsible for directing and advising on the case at hand. There are problems in the office such as client data storage is not available centrally, consultation activities difficult to be monitored by the leadership, taxation activities undertaken by staff not validated and difficult to be monitored by the leadership, there is no standard of making a receipt of client documents. Based on the issues, developed the information monitoring system of the tax consultant office work I Gede Arianta that can be used by the office to manage client data centrally, managing and monitoring consulting activities, managing and validating taxation activities undertaken by staff, manage document handover. Information system development method using waterfall model. System testing is performed using black-box testing and time comparison test. The result of black-box testing is 100% valid, meaning there is no error and the average difference of time before and after the implementation of the information system is 38 minutes.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the quality of the website global methods based on Online Republika quality evaluation, namely assessing the intrinsic variables, operational, contextual and representational. In addition, the study also aims to provide recommendations to improve the quality of the website Online from Republika fourth assessment variables above. Global quality evaluation is a fundamental concept to evaluate the quality of the content of the website consists of four variables that have been mentioned above. The sample used i.e. based on the selection of most of the population of visitors who access the website Republika Online. Data retrieval is done by way of disseminating a questionnaire on the user, then the data will be processed and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result of the evaluation of the quality of the content of the website of Republika Online on intrinsic variables have a percentage of 69.49% that is located at a high category. On operational variables have a percentage of 72.10% that is located at a high category. Contextual variables have percentage 71.44% that is located at a high category. And on a variable percentage of 61.32% have representational i.e. are on a high category. However, the four variables still there are some charge indicators will still require improvement.

Abstract

Stock investment is one of the most profitable type of investment. One of the biggest problem in stock investing is the difficultness to predict a stock price and it led to doubt whether to buy or sell a stock. Extreme Learning Machine is implemented to predict a stock price using Bank Mandiri's stock as a case study. This algorithm has some advantages such as fast training time and small error value. Extreme Learning Machine's processes involve normalizing Bank Mandiri daily stock data, generating input weight and bias weight, training the model, testing the model, denormalizing predicted value and evaluating the model using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The features used to predict Bank Mandiri's stock price are Open, High and Low price. The smallest MAPE value obtained from the testing phase is 1,012% using sigmoid activation function, four neurons in hidden layer and the data used is the last one year.

Abstract

In the reality of election in Indonesia, they still have many problems in terms of voting and counting especially in a new city such as the City of South Tangerang. This deficiency is also related to the implementation of elections that are still conventional in the era of technological development. One form of technological development is seen in smartphone use. In Indonesia, 80% of smartphone users use the Android operating system. Against this background, the application of the 2019 South Tangerang City Legislative Election was made using the prototyping method. This application is the result of brainstorming with stakeholders to get features that are in accordance with the needs described by stakeholders, the Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika of South Tangerang City and Komisi Pemilihan Umum of South Tangerang City, then the results of the brainstorming are modeled into prototypes and tested regularly to the user to find out if there are still deficiencies found in the application design. The purpose of this application is to get information on how to make the appropriate application for the Election and the citizens of South Tangerang City and test its usability level as one of the aspects of the Election application that was appointed in this study. Before being used by users of this application through the blackbox test to find out whether all the features in the application are functioning properly. While usability itself is assessed through the SUPR-Qm questionnaire to show that the application can be well received by users in various ages. The results of using prototype modeling after blackbox and usability testing are eight features of the application that works properly and the usability level is in category C, when it converted the result of usability level means good and the application can be accepted by citizen of South Tangerang City.

Abstract

Quadcopter is one of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle which is used such a field of defense, agriculture and other fields. UAVs have proven their usefulness like the Amazon E-commerce giant that uses UAV as a medium of delivery of orders to customers with guaranteed goods will arrive in approximately half an hour. Many features of developed Quadcopter UAVs such as face recognition, object tracking and landing on specific objects. Along with the benefits that are increasingly widespread in various areas of features owned needs to be upgraded again like a feature to perform automatic navigation by simply reading the text on an image. So in this study has designed a navigation system on the type of Ar Drone quadcopter using optical character recognition based on the graphical programming using LabVIEW. The result show accuracy of reading text found the best distance is 1 m with 100% success.

Abstract

Ride Inc. is a leather shoe store established in 2012 in the city of Malang. Customer data owned has not been utilized to obtain values that are able to help Ride Inc. in creating business strategies to gain and retain customers. Customer segmentation is groups of customers who have a similarity of characteristics that able to provide information. The characteristics of customers can be seen by applying LRFM (Length, Recency, Frequency, and Monetary) model. Methods used in grouping customers are Fuzzy C-Means clustering. Elbow method used to help the process of determining the best number of clusters iteratively. The data used from the Ride Inc. are 522 customers data in the period of July 2017 until March 2018. The results shows that there are two and three clusters that formed based on elbow method that are then implemented into the Fuzzy C-Means. Customer segment analysis based on the LRFM model formed in the rank of profitable customer group based on the highest value of L, F, and also M and the lowest R. Dashboard visualization become the output of the research based on the value of the given LRFM to Ride Inc. The average score of usability testing from 2 respondents is 65. This means that Ride Inc. receive the dashboard visualization.
