Abstract

In making 2D animation there are several techniques which are quite popular, one of them is skeletal-based animation technique. Skeletal-based animation is a technique where animator only needs parts form character, then adjust the location according to a virtual skeleton, this technique is the same as the animation technique in 3D. But in its development, motion capture or 3D laser scanner technology in making 3D animation have not been used for making 2D animation, especially with skeletal-based animation. And to produce 2D animation needs 50 to 300 animator to draw thousands of characters in different poses with human hands. This causes the animator mostly laborious and time-consuming in making animation. This research focuses on the implementation of 2D skeletal-based animation engine using OpenGL. Animation engine that is implemented using the OpenGL API because OpenGL is a specific API for graphics processing, both 2D and 3D. Also using a Kinect sensor which is one of motion capture technology that no need marker. The result of this research shows the valid result on functionality testing for AnimateFrame and playImportKeyframe component, it shows the animation engine successfully implemented by using OpenGL API and Kinect sensor and can produce animation with skeletal-based animation technique.

Abstract

Health Communication Board (HCB) is a tool that commonly used to aid communication issue between doctor or nurse with a patient who can't speak normally. HCB contains a set of illustration that represent action and some basic patient needs. To use HCB, the patient will be asked to point any illustration that represent what the patient wants to tell. But, this might become a problem if the patient also experiences motor impairment related to hand function. Which makes the patient unable to point to any illustration listed on the HCB, so that HCB become useless. In this research, an application that have the same function and mechanism as HCB will be developed. This application will be able to be controlled by using eye movements, so that patient with motor impairment will be able to use it. The result of validation testing using black box method produce a 100% conformity level which indicates that all the function is running as expected. Then, compatibility testing produces a score of 100% which indicates that the application is able to run normally when used in different devices with different API levels. For the usability testing related to respondent success rate when performing a set of given tasks, the application is able to produce a value of 90%. While for the usability testing related to respondent satisfaction using System Usability Scale (SUS), the application is able to produces a score of 84 which indicates that the application is able to deliver a good satisfaction level to its respondent by getting a B grade.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 4 Malang is one of the Institutions that gets a license as an organizer of professional certification for vocational students from National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). In the professional certification proceses there are documents that must be filled in by the assessor kesimpuand students totaling more than 50 (fifty) pages for one student. This causes problems, filling process time, documents storage, and the use of excessive paper. In this research uses the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) without deployment process. For data collection methods using interview and observation methods on physical assessment documents in Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak study. From the results of interviews and observations, the software requirements are obtained for both actors (student and assessor), and then illustrated on several diagram of a unified modeling language before the implementation process using the PHP programming language and using the CodeIgniter framework. For the first testing process using the black-box method with an error guessing technique to get error possibility that will occur in the system. The results obtained are all possible errors can be handled properly indicated by all tests get valid results. For the second test, the user acceptance test method is used to see the acceptance of the system by the user using the questionnaire. The results obtained were all respondents gave "yes" answers to each question given. From these results an acceptance decision process for decision making related to acceptance shows that all functionalities or in terms of the usefulness of the system can be fully accepted by users, both students and assessors.

Abstract

24Slides is a multinational company in the field of digital outsourcing that serves presentation redesigns in the form of powerpoints. This company has information technology services to facilitate the operation of internet-based companies. There are a number of reasons for evaluating IT service management on 24Slides because the company has been operating for seven years and should have received an evaluation. In addition, the distance between the two different continental offices makes the company's operations interesting to evaluate. And the last one is due to the fact that no audit has been conducted. This study uses the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework V3 domain service operation to measure maturity levels, gap analysis, and formulate recommendations for improvement of 24Slides. The questionnaire used is based on University and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA). The conclusion obtained in this study is the average score of the maturity level that is worth 2.6 and falls into the repeatable category with a gap of 0.8. The value of the maturity level 2.6 can be interpreted as a basic processes and activities are established and there is a level of discipline and adherence in the 24Slides company. And a gap value of 0.8 means the expectation of 24Slides is greater than what is currently experienced. From the low indicators and by discussions with respondents, can be used as findings to formulate recommendations. The focus of recommendation is run the entire basic processes and carry out documentation and standardization in order to achieve level 3, namely defined level.

Abstract

Health is the most important part of human beings. One way that can be done to maintain health to regulate diet. Setting diet can be done by calculating the amount of daily nutrient content that enters body. Problems related to nutrition in community are malnutrition or condition where body doesn't get enough nutrition according to daily needs. This happens because most people dont understand how to regulate and classify food according to portion nutrients body. Fulfillment daily nutrition can be done if food has been in group based on nutritional similarity. Food grouping algorithm is needed so that people can find out enough daily nutritional alternatives based on potential commodities in Indonesia. Data used in study amounted 250 data sourced from Indonesian Ministry of Health regarding composition of food ingredients. Purpose of this study is examine which method is best by comparing K-Means and Isodata clustering algorithms based on the quality of clusters produced. Cluster quality measurements using Silhoutte Coefficient method. Based on tests conducted, Silhoutte Coefficient K-Means algorithm is 0.996762 and Isodata algorithm is 0.996910. Both these methods have small difference value but Isodata algorithm has greater Silhouette Coefficient value than K-Means algorithm in clustering Food Composition Data.

Abstract

Malang is the second-largest city in East Java, which is known as the tourism city because it has many interesting tourist destinations. However, many choices of tourist destinations in Malang confuse the tourists about choosing suitable tourism according to their wishes because of the limited funds and time. To overcome this problem, a mobile-based application is needed for decision-making that can provide tourist recommendations, so that tourists are expected to get travel recommendations that match their desired criteria from anywhere and anytime. The system developed based on Android so it can be used by a wide range of users. The system was built using the TOPSIS method to rank tourist recommendations according to the criteria entered by users based on tourist data provided by web services. The system has successfully fulfilled the functional requirements with a valid value of 100% on functional testing. Besides, the validation testing of algorithms which is done by comparing the results of recommendations with manual calculations and the calculation of the system gets a 100% match. And for accuracy testing by experts gets an accuracy value of 83.3%.

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang is one of the academic institutions that is following the development of information technology in the inventory of infrastructure facilities. In the process of inventorying infrastructure, still applying bookkeeping and assistance from Ms. Excel. This raises a problem, namely the slow information needed to find out the amount of data on facilities and infrastructure in schools. Based on the problems identified, in this study developed a web-based infrastructure infrastructure management information system in the inventory process. This study applies the Waterfall System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) without the deployment process. In analyzing system requirements, this study applies interview methods and observation methods to physical documents on school inventories. From the results of interviews and observations, there were 3 (three) users / actors, namely staff, waka (wakil kepala), and school principals with 17 needs for functionality in the system. From the results of the analysis of needs that have been obtained, then enter the modeling phase applying a unified modeling language. The implementation stages apply the programming language PHP, CodeIgniter framework, and Mysql. In the testing process applying the black-box testing and UAT (user acceptance testing) method. From the black-box testing, the results show that the functionality requirements are 100% valid, while the user acceptance testing (UAT) results are outlined, the application is running well and all functions are running well.

Abstract

MANET is a well-known self-configuring and infrastructure-less network. Each device connected to MANET is called a node, each of which has different characteristics in terms of mobility, which plays a role in the quality of a network. A node, when conveying a packet, requires routing process as a mechanism to determine the best path to let it reach its right destination. This research focused on comparing the performances of DSDV and FSR routing protocols when applied to both fixed and mobile nodes by testing three parameters, namely Routing Overhead, End-to-end Delay, and Convergence Time. Test scenarios were performed by varying the number of both moving nodes and non-moving nodes and varying the size of the packet conveyed. The results showed that the FSR protocol is more suitable to be applied in large-scale networks, with the values of convergence time, end to end delay, and routing overhead of 0.118 sec, 20.813 ms, and 22.748, respectively. Meanwhile, DSDV protocol is more suitable to be applied in small-scale networks, with the values of convergence time, end to end delay, and routing overhead of 0.1 sec, 31.607 ms, and 8.875, respectively. The results also indicated that the greater the packet conveyed the more significant the effect on the performance of a network because the data needs to be broken down into several segments, which are vulnerable to failure (Packet Loss).

Abstract

Raspberry Pi 3 is a device that can be used as a middleware. Middleware facilitates communication and information management between heterogeneous components. Based on previous research, there is a security gap in the data transmission system that exposes data packets to an unauthorized party. This problem can be solved with AEGIS algorithm. AEGIS algorithm is a method that guarantees confidentiality and authentication. AEGIS is suitable to be implemented in network communication because it protects packets during transmission. Based on research results, AEGIS algorithm was successfully implemented in MQTT and CoAP protocol's data payload. AEGIS when implemented on the researched system was tested with vector testing and was stated as valid. Time performance test is conducted on middleware systems that either used MQTT or CoAP protocol's, the testing process was time data samples with and without using the AEGIS algorithm. The average results indicated the time difference of a MQTT system that used MQTT system that used AEGIS and without AEGIS was 19.592 milliseconds. Meanwhile, the average of time difference of CoAP system that used AEGIS and without AEGIS was 28.141 milliseconds. The above mentioned results prove that the AEGIS algorithm is capable of securing data confidentiality and authentication on a Raspberry Pi 3.

Abstract

Gold is a precious metal which is one of the important roles in people's daily lives. Gold jewelry is usually sold in large places such as markets to small shops. The rise and fall of the sales of gold obtained by the seller is difficult to predict, one of the contributing factors is the uncertain gold price following the fluctuation of the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar. Though knowing the results of future sales can help the seller to know the benefits and losses in the coming period. Therefore, it takes a system that functions to do forecasting to find out the results of automatic gold sales with the Exponential Smoothing method which is one of the forecasting methods that can perfect a forecasting result by smoothing on past values ​​that function to produce forecasting values. Then, error evaluation of forecasting results was performed with Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The lowest MAPE results obtained were located in the SES method when the parameter α = 0.4 with a value of 56.64. Based on the MAPE value that has been obtained using the three methods on Exponential Smoothing, the results obtained above 50, then the Exponential Smoothing method is not suitable to be used to calculate forecast sales of gold.
