Abstract

LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) is a petroleum gas that is commonly used as fuel for gas stoves. From year to year the use of LPG has always increased, which is the risk of gas leakage will also increase. So it is necessary to reduce these risks, with create a system that can detect LPG gas leaks. The design of a gas leak detection system must have a high availability value, because when there is a crucial component damage it will cause an inaccurate reading. High availability systems can be achieved by implementing redundancies. In this research, one of the redundancy methods will be implemented, namely Hot Standby Redundancy in the gas leak monitoring system. The gas monitoring system will require gas sensors (MQ-2 and MQ-5) as inputs, Arduino as processors, buzzers and applications as output. While the components that are considered crucial are components or controllers. For the Hot Standby Redundancy redundancy method, it will make a duplicate controller and will always be active to monitor the condition of the main controller. The monitoring process will use I2C serial communication, by means of a backup (master) controller sending requests periodically to determine the condition of the master controller. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the implementation of the Hot Standby Redundancy mechanism in the LPG, downtime gas leak monitoring system both failover and failback is equal to 153.46 ms, with availability of 99.99%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the level of acceptance of the system by using variables adopted from the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) research model, namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, user characteristics, system quality and top management and IT support using descriptive statistics analysis. Data were collected using questionnaires consisting of 29 statements made using 5 point likert scale to 100 respondent users of the Planning and Budgeting Information System which were distributed to all Malang City Government agencies. A total of 94 questionnaires were obtained and the results showed that the variables top management and IT support and perceived usefulness included in very high categories and the variables system quality and perceived ease of use included in high categories. Recommendations given to improve the level of acceptance are conducting technical evaluations by testing the system, conducting intensive training to the users towards the system usage phase to improve understanding of the system and providing a call center to handle customer services including aspirations, criticisms and suggestions from customers for evaluating the system.

Abstract

Physical exercise is an effective way to improve the welfare and quality of life. In modern society physical exercise is a must, not only to maintain health, but also as a means to rehabilitate from injuries. But it is inevitable that there is some risk that occurs during physical exercise can cause injuries such as bruises, sprains or even broken bones. More importantly, it was found that the knee and ankle are generally exposed to injuries, sprains and strains which proved with 949 cases for men and 194 for women. Despite the fact the physical rehabilitation can help recover from injury, but also very boring. This is mainly due to the exercise of no interest to most patients, and discomfort should be monitored through regular visits to a specialist. One effective way is to use a technology that provides visual feedback to the patient's proper exercise adequately, using Augmented Reality technology. This research will be built based augmented reality application designed to support therapy aims to help patients sprained ankle rehabilitation. This technology can run on android mobile devices, making it easier for patients to perform rehabilitation of a sprained ankle. From the results of tests performed acquired 80.9% average value of respondents' interpretation of 20 votes, which showed that the level of acceptance of the respondents said "Strongly Agree" to the rehabilitation of this AR technology.

Abstract

Travel services is one of services that people need to travel and now many companies have open travel services. But problems arise for passengers and Ladju Travel, namely passengers who do not know the location of the travel car. In addition, another problem is the way Ladju Travel in resolving the Traveling Salesman Problem problem is still using manual methods so that the order of pickup and delivery is not good. To solve this problem, an Android-based travel passenger pickup and delivery application was developed. This application is divided into three, there are applications for drivers, passengers and management. Application development use the Waterfall model and for requirement modeling and design use the Unified Modeling Language. Traveling Salesman Problem using Greedy algorithms. Applications was tested using Black Box Testing and Usability Testing. Black Box Testing will also be perform on Compatibility Testing. Black Box Testing carried out on all functional requirements produces valid status for all functional on three different Android versions, namely version 5.0-5.1 (Lollipop), 6.0 (Marshmellow), and 7.0-7.1 (Nougat). The result of Usability Testing that use the System Usability Scale questionnaire is 78.75 score for the application for passengers, 69 score for the application for the driver and 70 score for the application for management. These results are above the minimum average score of 68.

Abstract

The development of internet and mobile applications has brought us a step further in applying technology in modern life. One of them is an application to get goods and services in the form of an online food ordering application. Various online food ordering applications emerge by presenting a unique user experience and user interface, one of them is GrabFood. This study will examine the user experience of the GrabFood application and conduct evaluations to assess and also looking for the shortcomings that exist in the user experience of the GrabFood application. The method in this research uses design thinking as a method in designing and developing user experiences. Data collection in this study using interview methods and by conducting usability testing of five respondents. The usability aspects tested in this study are aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. Based on the results of the research, there is an increase in efficiency aspects ranging from 33,1 to 67,4 percent and user satisfaction aspects ranging from 3,3 to 25,9 percent in the evaluation results (GrabFood prototype).

Abstract

Person with disability cannot do the normal daily aktivity. In patients with disabilities, the patient cannot move the whole body and therefore needs to be monitored by a household assistant. However, a household assistant cannot keep monitored for 24 hours continuously. To overcome this problem, this research was created to develop a system that helps people with disabilities to help their daily activities. The system was made to detect the eye movements to select menus from the screen. The menu on the LCD screen contains options including to call the nurse, choose a food menu, and go to the toilet. This system is made using the landmark face method combining with the eye movement detection method. Detection of eye movements will be divided into five, namely looking up, down, left, right and forward. The detection will be implemented in the options menu on the LCD screen so that patients can be helped in their daily lives.

Abstract

Kanjuruhan Regional General Hospital, is one of the organizations in the health services that has utilized information technology as the main support for its business processes. One of the supports is the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) which integrates modules in hospitals such as outpatient, inpatient, pharmacy, medical records, and others. SIMRS is implementing the best practices in Minister of Health Regulation No. 82 of 2013 but still not done well. Accordingly, an evaluation is needed to improve the IT service management. The absence of clear procedures related to how to handle incidents and problems with IT services, especially in SIMRS, causes handling can not be done directly, considering that there are so many disruptions that affect service performance. This study uses the ITIL V3 framework that focuses on the Incident Management and Problem Management processes. The analysis results obtained in both processes are in level 2 Repeatable level which means that some activities related to incident management have been carried out but there are still no standard rules as the basis for the implementation of these activities. So as to achieve the expected value the researchers compiled recommendations to improve IT service management, especially on SIMRS services. The recommendations focus on describing the activities that should be carried out and making documentation in order to reach the expected level.

Abstract

Traditional cookies represent every single place in our country with its uniqueness. We can find the information on those culinary through various media such as books or the internet. It is straightforward if we know the name of the foods. However, the limitation of one's knowledge will bring different problems in acquiring the information, especially if it is text-based. The solution to that problem is to use Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR), a technique that automatically uses an image as a query and display a series of the similar image just like the query. We use feature extraction in CBIR, which is also a fundamental part of Image Analysis. The feature extraction is used Color Histogram and Color Moment. This research is using Minkowski distance calculation with following values: p = 1, p = 2, p = 3 and p = 5. The value of p = 3 in Minkowski distance calculation gives the best result to the combination of these two features is valued at 0,720498. The MAP average value which is acquired from top K-rank: k = 5, k = 10, k = 15, k = 20, and k = 25, is valued at 0,7119 for the features combination. We can conclude from this result that the feature extraction Color Histogram and Color Moment gives an excellent result for traditional cookies image analysis.

Abstract

Many people, especially in Malang city, like to play sports in tennis courts, so more tennis courts are spread out in Malang. However, with so many places in the tennis court, sometimes many people do not know which one is better for training. Seeing this problem, the researchers built a recommendation system for tennis courts in Malang. This system was developed using the Android-based native mobile development model so that it can be reached by many people. With this application, the community can get recommendations on suitable tennis courts based on their location using GPS. The recommendation system for the tennis court was designed using the TOPSIS method with 3 criteria data, namely the distance from the user's location using haversine calculations, tennis court prices per hour, and rating. The results of functional testing, the system built has fulfilled the functional requirements with a 100% valid value, Testing the algorithm validation between manual calculations and system calculations shows a 100% match in the form of alternative sequences and the value of each alternative, and Rank Consistency Testing by reducing and the addition of criteria is 2 criteria and 4 criteria compared to the initial criteria to get a consistent ranking result.

Abstract

The success of a company influenced by human resources and information technology. Progress of information technology is helpful for giving convenience every company to manage their employee. The human resource management involve recruitment, selection, employee assessment, employee payroll, employee evaluation, employee mutation, promotion, demotion, training, and work termination. The current human resource management is not optimal, so that we need a technology which can help to resolve this problem. This technology is a human resource management system based on web to make the human resource management easier than before. The system development process uses waterfall method. The requirements engineering phase produced 72 functional requirement and 1 non-functional requirement. Then, the implementation uses CodeIgniter framework, PHP programming language and MySQL database. In the testing phase using unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing. Unit testing produce 100% valid in 5 test cases. Integration testing produce 100% valid in 2 test cases. Furthermore, the validation testing produced 100% valid in 17 test cases. And compatibility testing result in valid status in 1 test case.
