Abstract

Increasing the population in Malang there are several sectors such as education, tourism and employment. The increase in population was also followed by an increase in the number of vehicles by 567,719 including public and private transportation. A woman had been a victim of an accident and died in Lowokwaru District due to avoiding potholes. The community hopes that repairs to potholes will be carried out immediately by the relevant parties. Roads in Malang are the responsibility of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Malang City, which must record and repair damaged roads, but in recording damaged roads it is still done manually by recording in a book that contains street addresses without knowing the exact position of the location. Mobile based application for Public Works and Spatial Planning Officers of Malang City can see the distribution of damaged roads in Malang City and map the damaged roads by taking latitude and longitude coordinates according to the location chosen by the officers and utilizing location based services, namely global positioning system sensor. System development uses extreme programming methods to anticipate if there are changes in user needs. The results of tests conducted, functional testing, compatibility testing on several OS android, and usability testing of system usability scale equations obtained a value of 67.3 with adjective ratings = good.

Abstract

PT Merdeka Grafika Indonesia is manufaturing company focusing in processing raw materials into good, known as producing. This company is specialized in printing and receives orders to print posters, newspapers, magazines, calenders, and tabloids. The process itself comprises of pre-printing, printing producing, dan finishing process. During the long duration of producing, many obstacles and failures is to be faced by this company. Obstacles and product fail happened because of defining custumer needs is not effective, machine downtime and data differences occur in stock information. All these times, the company is only focused to recreate a better version to any failure products and unaware enough to understand any failure in the producing activities. Because of that, evaluation considering the current unning business process needs to be conducted using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF). The FMEA is usually helpful in order to understand any failures in the producing activity. On the other hands, the QEF is specifically a mean to understand any gaps between the targets and QEF calculations in the current company position. Both results are then multiplied, then searches to find the stem of the problem are conducted to figure out the cause of the root of the problem.

Abstract

Educational games have been widely used as a learning media. Educational Games are designed to help the learning process and provide experience to the players, and are proven to be effective to use as a learning media. A game called PELAN has been created to help children learning to cross the road on a computer program, where the use of Augmented Reality in games has a positive effect on children's learning. With the advent of Virtual Reality (VR) technology, which is a virtual environment generated by the computers, users can enter into the reality that has been created, so that the addition of VR with Google Cardboard in the game can add to the gaming experience and indirectly add to the learning process provided from playing the game. The research was conducted to develop the PELAN game using VR technology with the aim of increasing the experience given to users that played it and so that it indirectly improves the learning performance provided by the game. The implementation of the game uses the Big Bang method, a software development model that has the flexibility and ease of change design that is expected to help answers the needs of the research. The game that has been made has been tested for its functionality using Black Box Testing, where each functionality in the study is declared valid, and the Game Experience Questionnaire (GEQ) questionnaire is held, where the average score of the positive component is approximately three, which is good , and the average negative effect value is less than 2 which means less than enough, along with the comparison if using kinect as a game controller.

Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency of Malang Regency is a government agency that collects statistical data in Malang Regency through a census. This census activity is called outstation activity. Each employee must report the outstation activity to the Administrative Sub-Staff so that presence doesn't marked as absence. However, in its implementation, there were a constrain that all employee were reporting via WhatsApp chat. While, recording the data by entering the data into Microsoft Office Excel. Either data is recapitulated by creating a calendar of outstation activity markers in Microsoft Office Excel. Based on that problem, it is necessary to build Outstation Activity Monitoring Information System. This is a web-based system so that employee can reported the data easily. This system is also integrated with the Google Calendar API so that it can show data in form of calendar which make it easier for outstation activity. The results of this study consist of 13 functional requirements that can be traced 13 use cases, 13 activity diagrams, 13 sequence diagrams and 15 interface design. The system is tested using the Traceability Matrix and the result show valid requirement and design document. While testing the prototype, the results of the system design were in accordance with what was expected by the employees and the Administrative Sub-Staff.

Abstract

Bina Sarana Informatika Foundation is a private education institution based in Jakarta. Bina Sarana Informatika Foundation operates 48 universities in 19 major capitals in Indonesia. The company's IT resource management is delegated to the Information Technology Bureau which is responsible for managing and managing all IT assets and for developing the information systems needed by the company. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted, found several problems that often occur related to information systems technology (IT) organizations. The types of problems that often arise among others are hampered the handling process Problems caused by human resource planning in the Information Technology Bureau are not running well, making it easier for employees to do the work to be inappropriate. Therefore, an evaluation that uses suitable work is needed to be given assistance in the field of information technology (IT). COBIT 5 supports this research on COBIT because COBIT 5 has a research process related to this study. This second process is EDM04 (Ensure Resource Optimization) as the main domain of resource management technology information and APO07 (Managing Human Resources) as a process of managing human resources. To synergize this Jurnal Pengembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Ilmu Komputer 2 Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, Universitas Brawijaya second process, DSS03 domain (Manage Problems) choose the desired process. This study aims to obtain the value of capability (capability level) and gap value (gap level) to obtain solutions and evaluations related to existing problems. From the results of the assessment carried out, it was found that the capability of EDM04 and APO07 sub domains depends on level 1 (Performed Process) with the desired target level of 2 and DSS03 sub-level at level 2 (Managed Process) with the desired target level is 3. First Results, the following are 1. The recommendations given are given to the main license and personnel functions, a personnel approval planning process is held, and documents to deal with problems related to the process until the review process.

Abstract

Poliklinik Kebon Agung Malang menggunakan modul kesehatan yang dibuat oleh dokter Jack Roebijoso bersama dengan Tim dokter keluarga Universitas Brawijaya untuk membantu Tim medis dan pasien dalam proses mengelola diabetes. Modul kesehatan ini berisi arahan dalam mengelola diabetes dan rekam medis pasien dalam mengelola diabetes. Namun, terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam proses pengelolaan diabetes karena semua prosesnya masih berjalan secara manual. Modul kesehatan tersebut masih berupa dokumen cetak yang memiliki risiko hilang atau rusak dan jika hilang maka akan mempersulit dokter dalam proses analis dan diagnosis karena tidak dapat melihat rekam medis pasien. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa keluhan dari pasien bahwa mereka kesulitan untuk berkonsultasi dengan tim kesehatan Poliklinik secara langsung karena alasan jarak yang jauh atau telah pindah rumah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi untuk membantu mengelola informasi pribadi pasien, mengelola rekam medis pasien, dan membantu pasien dan dokter dalam melakukan konsultasi. Dalam pengembangannya, sistem yang dibangun berbasis mobile agar pengguna dapat menggunakan sistem dimana pun selama terhubung dengan jaringan internet. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah throw-away prototyping. Kemudian sistem diuji dengan melakukan pengujian validasi untuk memeriksa sistem apakah telah memenuhi persyaratan yang telah didefinisikan dan melakukan pengujian kompatibilitas untuk mengetahui bahwa sistem mampu dijalankan pada sistem operasi Android diatas versi lima. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun 100% valid dan 100% kompatibel.

Abstract

Sepatu Bordir.ID is a Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in manufacturing sector of shoes production. In 2014, products from Sepatu Bordir.ID begin to be sell in several cities in Indonesia. The shoes sell process is performed by ordering the shoes directly or indirectly. The process of calculating the total payment of the orders is still using calculators, so the accuracy of the process is not really optimal. Besides, the use of social media platforms such us Whatshapp and Instagram to introduce the products makes it less efficient when resellers order shoes. Another problem is found in the entry and reporting process carried out by financial and marketing agents are still using Microsoft Excel, so there is a chance that the data has not been inputted. Based on these problems, a solution is made by developing a website-based technology that is manufacturing information system "Sepatu Bordir.ID" which is implemented in a laravel framework. The phase of requirement engineering of this study produces 24 functional requirements, 1 non-functional requirement and there are three actors that will employ this system, which are the marketing, financial and reseller agents. The results of the requirement engineering were modeled in the design phase using sequence diagrams, class diagrams, component design, database design and interface design and then implemented at the implementation phase. This research used Rapid Application Development method and used HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP programming languages. The testing phase in this study employed the methods of white box, black box, RAD testing stages, and usability testing. Each of these tests resulted in 100% valid score and usability testing obtained 75 likert which was perceived as an Acceptable.

Abstract

The use of IPv4 in addressing is a consideration of the continued growth of the internet, so IPv4 needs to provide even more addresses. IPv6 is designed to overcome the weaknesses of IPv4. This research is to find out the performance of load balancing based on Never Queue and Destination Hashing algorithm on IPv6. The performance of a website that has a management server is called load balancing. Load balancing is a system for loading large loads that cannot be carried out by a single server. Algorithms in load balancing generally use Round Roubin and Least Connection. This study uses the Never Queue (NQ) and Destination Hashing (DH) algorithm. NQ algorithm has the advantage of having a supporting algorithm. If the queue request is not resolved, then use the algorithm. Recent Delays to calculate the fewest connection delays. DH algorithm has advantages, contains a hash table that contains the destination address of the server along with its services. The parameter used is Time per Request, with the aim of obtaining website services from the time needed to make the request to the response. Seen from the results Time per Request given to each different number of clients can be deduced from the algorithm Never Queued with 2 and 3 servers giving a better Time per Request result in all of clients.

Abstract

For the Indonesian economy, considerable development is supported by the development of application-based or online transportation. One of the developing online transportation services is PT. XYZ. PT. XYZ has actually been established since 2011, however this company jut hit the spotlight since the investment (or installation or instalment) of the application on iOS and Android in 2015. The problems that constrained or hindered the driver often occurred to other users as well. The application requires a measurement of the level of end-user satisfaction to understand the application user satisfaction. This study aims to find out about the satisfaction of end-user of PT. XYZ online motorcycle taxi driver application using the EUCS method. This method measures satisfaction by comparing user ratings with existing systems. This method is used because it is in accordance with the problems that exist in the end user of the PT.XYZ Driver application to make benchmarks on the dimensions that exist in the End User Computing User Satisfaction (EUCS) method. Dimensions used are content (content), accuracy (accuracy), format (form), ease of use (easy to use) and timeliness (timeliness).The results of the analysis using the EUCS method of the user of the PT XYZ driver application, obtained or suggested two EUCS variables to be improved, namely the accuracy and timeliness variable.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of things which able communicate about surrounding information with other things by using simple computer, communication device, and censor without the need of human interaction. Generally the data in the network will be collected to a main computer which will be processed and send to the data centre using internet connection. However in the case where there is no internet infrastructure the data cannot be send to data centre. Hence the development of mobile application which can be used to gather and bring the data to area with internet infrastructure and send it to the data centre. To help the process of the data delivery the developed application has a feature to be able to send data to other mobile device without using internet connection using WiFi-Direct. To handle multiple data transmission, in the case the courier of the data meet more than once device, the developed application also implement flooding algorithm where the data will only be sent to the directly connected adjacent which suitable with the WiFi-Direct constraint that is not able to form multi-hop connection. The development of the application is completed using object oriented approach through analysis, design, and implementaion stage. The mobile application has been successfully developed and is able to fulfill all the required functions to solve the problem of sending the data from the field to data centre based on the 100% validation test result from the black box testing. With tested performance of maximum connection range, optimal connection range, total time required to form a connection between mobile application and total time required to send data between mobile application.
