Abstract

Books become one of the source of information, reading books can increase literacy for everyone. However, Literacy culture in the city of Malang is still low, to increase people's interest in reading, Jendela Malang community was formed, is a community to increase children's interest in reading, besides also receiving books donation that will be donated to orphanages or special schools. Brawijaya University students also have a need for books to support the lecture process, by buying books they need, or borrow from friends. For books that are not used, students can collect or donate books. The problems that exist in students are the lack of relationships that are willing to make book transactions and the lack of information to find book owner of the book that suit their needs, and being late in returning books, meanwhile the problem faced by the Jendela Malang Community is that they cannot select books to be received. The solution to this problem is to develop a android mobile-based application as a book provider that function to exchange, borrow, or donate books to the Jendela Community. From the requirement analysis resulted in 28 functional needs and 2 non-functional needs, which were developed using the prototyping method with two iterations. The results of the design will be implemented then tested using 4 tests. From the 3 functions tested by unit testing and of 28 functional requirements that were tested by validation testing obtained valid results that the application was developed according to the requirements that have been defined, from compatibility testing obtained valid results that the application can run on Android versions of Lollipop to Pie, and usability testing the SUS value of 75 is acceptable.

Abstract

Strawberries are fruits that contain many benefits, so strawberries are widely cultivated in Indonesia. In the cultivation, farmers pay attention to the productivity of strawberries in terms of excess quality. Farmers are still counting strawberries conventionally or manually so they ask for a long calculation time. In addition, farmers have never received their harvest now. Therefore, farmers need tools that can help and provide in agriculture known as modern agriculture or modern agriculture. Existing modern agriculture in Indonesia such as rice planting and automatic harvesting equipment, soybean dryers, pesticide sprayers, superior seed sorting machines, and so on. To make a tool that suits the needs of strawberry fruit farmers, researchers developed a mature strawberry counter system in the garden based on hue and saturation values. The hue and saturation values ​​are used because both of these values ​​can overcome the change in light intensity and can be used to detect obsolete strawberries based on the skin color of the fruit. The system uses a watershed algorithm to separate the attached or attached strawberries so that they are counted as different objects. This system is based on Raspberry Pi because it can process images quickly. With this tool it is expected to be used to predict crop yields. The harvest prediction can be used to help the work of farmers in their crops, so farmers can improve the quality of the crop every year. It is hoped that further system development can facilitate farmers to pick strawberries released in the gardens carried out by robots. On the test results obtained by the system, obtained an accuracy rate of 82% with an average calculation time of 7558.1 milliseconds.

Abstract

Indonesia has many reading Al - Quran events. for instance, reading Al - Quran competition, Quran Community or tadabbur Quran. But, not many people to know about writing Al - Quran, just a few certain people who know what else to do the activity, such as pesantren environment. even though, in writing Al - Quran activity there are few advantages, for instance, thoroughness training, patient training, and speed up reading Al - Quranskill. Indonesia a country with the largest Muslim population, but, not many peoples who to learn Al - Quran, for just taking time to read is very difficult. From these problems, this research wants to develop an application which to helps people learn Al - Quran especially in learning Al - Quran writing. In its development, this research also uses a gamification approach such as score collection, leaderboard, and high score. For the design phase produced eight sequence diagram and CRC Cards design, data design use Entity Relationship Diagram, algorithm design produced three algorithms and 12 prototypes design. The app specifically implemented for Android programming based on Java and using google firebase realtime database for the database Validation testing produced seven tests, where all of the test cases have produced a valid status. The result of usability testing is 70,5 percent. The comparison score result between the score app with Ustadz valuation has produced from ten data training nine often includes in the Ustadz valuation criteria.

Abstract

Tapai cassava is one of the traditional processed food products in Indonesia. Tapai cassava changes the fermentation process that turns cassava into tapai with the help of tapai yeast, We can say about people who would like cassava which has sweet taste, soft texture and a little alcohol content. Yeast will then produce tapai which has high water content, high acidity, very high texture and becomes acidic which contains a very sharp and alcoholic aroma. By knowing to the level or alcohol in cassava tapai, we can find out the future level of cassava tapai, whether tapai is not yet ripe, ripe, or too ripe for consumption. From this explanation, the researchers made a Maturity Level System in Cassava Based on Ph Sensor and the Embedded Alcohol Based Alcohol Level Data that can help the public or connoisseurs to achieve what has reached, which has been produced, which has been produced or that has been produced. In this system several components are used, namely the Arduino Uno microcontroller for data processing and for classification using the k-Nearest Neighbor method, the SEN0161 pH meter sensor and the MQ-3 sensor used to measure alcohol content and levels of cassava. In this system after testing the value of K, k9 is obtained as the best K with a percentage of 100% and for testing the accuracy of the test is 86.66% and the average rat error in the system is 13.34%, the tests produced at produce from the nearest k-neighbor classification.Keywords: cassava tapai, mq3 sensor, ph sensor, k-nearest neighbor

Abstract

Ibnu Sina is one of the mosques that has Takmir and Remaja Masjid to revive and carry out the function of the mosque as a place for Muslims to pray. With many activities held by mosques, Takmir and Remaja Masjid often conduct meeting activities to maximize the worship activities to serve people. However, there are problems that occur when conducting meeting and control all of the mosque work. Often times meeting are forgotten and it is difficult to review a certain information from the media stored by takmir mosques, it is books and social media. This has hampered the determination of the decisions that had been agreed. Thus causing multi-perception for each member of the deliberation on the decisions given. This study aims to build an information system that can help manage meeting information. In its development, this system was built using the Java Spring Boot to facilitate development by applying the principle of the module to the feature. The system development method used in this study is an iterative method. Then the system is tested using validation methods and compatibility testing methods. The result of the testing validation is valid and the system can access with any browser.

Abstract

Healthcare is one of the interesting fields in the application of IoT. However, the devices used in the implementation of IoT-based healthcare are very heterogeneous, this is a challenge for application developers to overcome the different communication mechanisms in sensing devices. In addition, the IoT application requires batch and stream data processing. Based on these challenges and requirements, the authors develop middleware to overcome these challenges. Middleware consists of three components it is sensor-to-cloud gateway components, messaging services, and data access interfaces. After implementation we perform device management, sensor-to-cloud gateway, messaging service, batch interface and stream interface test. Device management testing shows that the gateway component is able to manage sensor devices using BLE. Sensor-to-cloud gateway testing shows the ability of the gateway to forward sensor device data to the cloud. The messaging service test shows the ability of middleware to store messages in a database and facilitate the access stream interface. In batch and stream testing it can be seen that middleware can provide data for client users in batch and stream.

Abstract

Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) is a network that uses a special architecture has been developed with effort to connect between devices that has high delay time used changing connection. Routing multi-copy is a routing that minimizing network delay and maximizing data transmission when compared to routing Single-Copy. However, the absence of buffer management causes ineffective use of buffers each node. First In-First Out (FIFO) and Most Forwarded First (MOFO) is buffer management that can manage buffers that existeach node. FIFO buffer management can manage buffers based on the time the packet was entered. Whereas MOFO buffer management manages buffers based on the number of packet forwarding. Based on routing performance testing, buffer management can optimize packet delivery on DTN. The simulation results show that the highest value of delivery probability is 0.4799 which is found in the management of FIFO buffer with buffer size of 12MB with Spray-and-Wait routing. The lowest overhead ratio value obtained is 14.4873 found in the MOFO buffer management with a buffer size of 12MB with Spray-and-Wait routing. The lowest latency average value is 2092.7180s found in Spray-and-Wait routing using FIFO buffer management with 5MB buffer size.

Abstract

SAFA Guesthouse is a private enterprise working on a reservation room, every customer making a reservation has to cross an on-line service provider called airy. Every customer's list of room reservations goes to an airy database, so SAFA Guesthouse cannot access the original data of the reservation room transaction. In the system provided by airy there's only management of the reservation data, and there's even a lot of activities that can't be regulated in the airy system which is employee data management, logbook management, employee schedule management, management of the reservation process (check-in and check-out) and management of room hygiene status. According to the problem, the solutions came with the website technology of the management of the SAFA guesthouse reservation implemented in the framework Laravel. Requirement Engineering were the first step in developing a system in this research to result in 45 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. In requirement engineering, there are also 2 actors who will use the system if they have passed the development stage, namely Customer and Front office. After the requirement engineering are carried out the design phase that produces sequence diagrams, class diagrams, component design, database design and interface design, then the implementation phase is carried out. The development method used in this study is the rapid application development method and using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP programming languages. Testing in this research uses the white box method that produces 100% valid grades, the white box test with 100% valid results and RAD test results that produce 100% valid result.

Abstract

Kampung Sapi Adventure Tourism is a cow farm that used as a place for educational tourism objects and develops the concept of agritourism. Currently it does not have information system used for promotional media, booking tickets online, and making financial reports. Buying and selling tickets and bookings through social media are still done manually, therefore, tourists send photos of proof of transfer payments.Then the tour officer will input the ticket purchase transaction data into spreadsheet. This manual process can cause invalid data, because officers are less careful about entering data. This research, an e-commerce application will be built by utilizing the midtrans payment gateway to facilitate the data collection of tourists in the case of buying and selling tickets and reservations as well as making it easier for tour officials to record ticket sales transaction. This researcher uses a Service Oriented Architecture.This research develop requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing of the system. The testing methods uses are blackbox and compatibility. The test results on this application indicate alignment between system design and applications, and can be run on multiple browsers.

Abstract

Smart aquaculture is one of the aquaculture concepts that applies the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) in monitoring water quality remotely. The components used are sensor nodes, gateways, and clouds. These three components play a role in sending and retrieving water quality data using the LoRa and MQTT communication protocols. LoRa communication is used to send and receive data between the sensor node and the gateway, while communication to connect the gateway to the cloud uses the MQTT protocol. Water quality monitoring has been studied before but still has limitations in certain conditions, where the sensor node and the cloud do not have a direct connection. Then the data transmission from the research cannot be done so an agent as an intermediary sensor node is needed for the cloud. One agent that can be used as an intermediary sensor node to the cloud is the drone. The drone agent is used as a gateway to connect the sensor node and the cloud. There are two tests conducted, namely functional testing and performance testing. In functional testing, sensor nodes that have been implemented successfully retrieve data using temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbididty sensors. Performance testing is carried out to determine the ability of the system when sending sensor data to the drone agent. Performance testing is measured by sending delay and success ratio parameters with 1hop distance scenario. The results of the 1hop distance scenario test with a drone flight height of 10m from the ground, at 100m distance variation gets an average delivery delay of 523.53 ms with a success ratio of 100%, at 300m distance variation gets a mean shipping delay of 747.43 ms with a success ratio of 100%, at a variation of distance 600m has an average delivery delay of 541.70 ms with a success ratio of 90%.
