Abstract

The number of lovebird lovers and breeders along with the development of information technology, many are capturing its beauty through uploading images to social media. But lovers and lovebird breeders still need a system to interact, discuss and search for lovebird information in one place. Mobile applications that have faster and more attractive performance in terms of visuals and users have full access to mobile devices, such as cameras, notifications, speakers, and other features. The simplicity was applied as a forum to help lovers or breeders interact so that the android-based lovebird community forum application was developed. The system was developed by the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with a needs analysis that produced 27 functional and one non-functional requirements, then implemented using the java programming language. This system has been tested by the white box testing method for unit testing, black box testing for validation testing which produces 27 test cases with 100% results and compatibility testing for non-functional requirements. System compatibility testing can be used with different APIs, namely API 23 with Android version 6.0.1 Marshmallow, API 25 with Android version 7.1.2 Nougat and API 28 with Android version 9 Pie. The test results show that applications can be used in different devices. Compatibility testing uses the SeeTestAutomation tool to get accurate results.

Abstract

The growth of the information technology sector in Indonesia is relatively fast and will continue to grow, it affects the way a company to meet the needs of human resources to complete a project. Freelancers is one solution for project owners who want employees to meet the needs of human resources. One important factor to determine the success of projects done by freelancers is to recruit the right people to work on the project, but there is a problem because clients need to compare the profiles of freelancers to one another. In the purpose to simplify the recruitment process, the authors took the initiative to create a system to bring together those who are in need of freelancers to work on a project with freelancers who have expertise with focus on finding workers in the field of software development. System are restricted to serve in the field of software development is because the need for freelancers in that field is the greatest one. Based on the results of the needs analysis sourced from the results of the elicitation of needs using the observation method of a similar system that already exists, obtained fifty functional system requirements, then the results of system design there are twenty-one system classes to be implemented. The results of the system testing that have been completed are implemented consisting of unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing showing that the system can run as needed and is capable of running on various web browsers.

Abstract

The majority of traffic accidents that occur are caused by human error, one of which is drowsy. When drowsy, the driver's concentration tends to decrease, so it can cause loss of control over the vehicle, this can lead to traffic accidents. Therefore, there's a need for a solution that can prevent traffic accidents caused by drowsiness. Based on these problems, the author offers a system that can detect driver drowsiness, so if the driver is drowsy, he can be given a warning immediately. This system is an Android based application that uses heart rate data to detect drowsiness. To obtain heart rate, this application is using the heart rate monitor sensor on the smartwatch which the driver must wear. In its development, this application is designed using Object Oriented Design (OOD) approach and implemented using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) method. Black box, accuracy, and usability are tested. Black box testing result shows that this application has 100% validity rate, based on accuracy testing conducted on five respondents, this application has 86,3% accuracy rate, showing that this application can detect the respondents' drowsiness accurately, whereas based on usability testing, this application has 83,5 score which means it got B (Excellent) rate.

Abstract

Protein is a substance that is needed by humans to be able to carry out daily activities. Aside from being a source of energy, a lot of other benefits provided by the protein for the body of human. Beef is one of source by protein that's much favoured by the peoples. But, with the high interest making naughty seller take advantage of this situation by mixing pork with beef. These conditions occur because the lack of public knowledge about the difference between both of them coupled with the prices of beef relatively higher. This made the majority people of Indonesians are scared, especially Muslims. So we need a study of systems that can distinguish between beef and pork. With this research it's expected to be able to solve existing problems and minimize cheating by sellers and losses by consumers. This system is designed using TCS3200 color sensor and MQ135 gas sensor because in this study, parameters to distinguish two types of meat are color and ammonia levels. The results of the sensors are used as input for processing by Arduino Nano using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method to get result of classification by system. The architecture of ANN used in this study consisted of 4 input neurons, 5 hidden layers, and 1 output layer. The main system will be only used for prediction process based on readings value of the sensor. The training process for getting weight values is running on other devices using MATLAB. The results of tests on 30 meat samples as test data produce an accuracy rate up to 90% with an average of computation time 45.3 millisecond.

Abstract

Antara sumbar is a news portal aims to meet the public's right to get accurate information and complete information instantly. There are various kind of news presented, one of them is sports news. Rapid improvement on digital information requires prompt news dissemination. As result, web portal needs to be professionally managed. Antara Sumbar is a professionally managed web portal, however there are some shortfall, particularly on sport news categorization that causes difficulties for readers to find the news by its category. The problem can be addressed by BM25 and K-Nearest Neighbor methods. The steps to address the problem are preprocessing document news, calculate the BM25 score of each document news, and classification process using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. The testing process followed 7 k-fold method. Data used on test is 240 training documents and 40 testing documents. Performed test obtaines results in k's value as 20, with precision value = 0,921577, recall values = 0,914286, and f-measure values = 0,917917. The process of classification is affected by the number of document used and k value.

Abstract

The large amount of data generated from Internet of Things (IoT) devices makes cloud computing widely used as IoT data storage. Cloud computing which has full access control over IoT data, causes a limitation where users are unable to fully manage and monitor the data they have. Users also can not know the integrity of each data. Therefore, we need a system that can store IoT data while also giving users more access control in managing and monitoring their data. On the other hand, blockchain, a technology with a decentralized architecture that has a consensus mechanism, is able to guarantee the integrity of any data stored without centralized authority. With these advantages, it is expected that the blockchain can become an alternative solution in managing and storing IoT data. In this study, the integration between the Internet of Things and the blockchain is to develop a gateway as an intermediary in terms of sending sensor data. The results of this study is gateway is able to receive data from sensor nodes, manage data structures and send them to the blockchain network. In addition, the authentication mechanism was also successfully provided in order to validate the gateway as a form of limiting access to the blockchain network. Finally, the measurement of gateway performance gives a success rate of 100% and an average processing time of 0.52 ms.

Abstract

PT. Abadi Ario Sekawan is a construction company specializing in roofing construction and supplier. PT Abadi Ario Sekawan is still using simple data management and transactions with Microsoft Excel. Because in the business management is still using manual system, it causes difficulties in the provision of inventory goods. Other problems, the company does not have a system to manage the inventory goods, so to carry out all the purchase transactions, sales and production, the company is using method by estimating the remaining raw materials or goods available in the warehouse. When running the roof production, the company estimates the completion time, the amount of raw materials production by calculating the manual which impacts take longer. With these problems, this research is done to develop a transaction management system of purchase, sales and web-based production that can manage the inventory goods and the data recording of transactions. The Rough Cut Capacity Planning method is used to calculate the approximate capacity of the machine. The stages involved in the development of this system are the needs of analysis, design system, implementation and testing. Analysis of needs is done by a direct interview to the company, while the design of the system used object oriented approach. Implementation is based on design system and implemented using PHP programming language, with Codeigniter framework. Tests conducted were testing white-box, black-box and compatibility testing. The White-box testing was conducted with unit testing, the Blackbox testing was conducted with validation testing. The result of the application system testing of purchase transactions, sales and production is valid 100%.

Abstract

Superior varieties are important supporting component in increasing national rice production. Each type of superior variety has different characteristics. Farmers need knowledge to be able to choose the type of rice they want while keeping rice production stable. To overcome the problem in determining rice seeds, one solution is to use data mining classification. The classification are using the decision tree method, with the C4.5 algorithm. C4.5 algorithm is an algorithm that builds decision trees from data with recursive patterns. C4.5 goes to each node of the decision tree, then selects the optimal branch until no more branches are generated. the algorithm can produce a classification of superior rice varieties needed to be planted in the fields. This research has input data in the form of flag leaves, grain shape, grain color, rice texture and texture. The input data is then processed by the C4.5 algorithm to produce outcomes that determine superior varieties of rice. The results of this study indicate that the classification performance of superior rice varieties is more influenced by the grain form attributes compared to other attributes. Meanwhile, the accuracy of the highest C4.5 algorithm in the k-fold 1 calculation was 28.571%. Meanwhile, k-fold 2 was 17.857%, k-fold 3 was 10.344% and k-fold 4 was 10.714%.

Abstract

Electric Train (KRL) as a mode of public transportation is still Jabodetabek people choice's. PT KCI (Kereta Commuter Indonesia) created the KRL Access application in 2015 with purpose to making it easier get information related to KRL schedules, route, and KRL positions. The researcher found several problems based on interviews and observations, including the inconsistent use of language, differences in application schedules with real-time conditions, and back buttons that did not function properly. From the problems found, the researchers evaluated the usability and improvement of the user interface using the HCD approach and the PSSUQ as questionnaire. After researcher get the evaluation results, the next step is to make a design improvement as a solution to the problem created based on several guidelines. The results of the comparison show a significant increase, where there was an increase in the aspect of effectiveness from 48% to 100%, then efficiency aspect from 11.85% increase to the 100%, and then user satisfaction aspect from 56.25% increase to 98.75%. The researcher concludes that the increase in value because the design improvement made by the researcher gives a higher user experience value than the initial design of the application.

Abstract

Meatballs are a favorite meal of Indonesian people from various backgrounds, there are various types of meatballs based on the use of meat such as chicken meatballs, beef meatballs, shrimp meatballs or rabbit meatballs. Meatballs are also foods that have a delicious taste and nutritional content, protein, vitamins in meatballs can benefit the body. But many meatballs have been circulating with the content of dangerous chemicals in this case is borax. Borax is a chemical compound for use as a wood preservative, an insect repellent and detergent-making material. The use of borax material in meatballs is intended so that meatballs sold by unscrupulous traders can be more durable and have a good texture and shape, so that people can be interested in buying the meatballs. To overcome these acts of cheating, it is necessary to design a system to classify meatballs containing borax with meatballs that do not contain borkas. In order for the system to be implemented, it requires an Arduino Mega microcontroller to process data as well as classification calculations, a color sensor to distinguish colors from the tested meatball object and a pH sensor to detect pH levels on the meatballs. In order for this system to classify, this system will use the K-Nearest Neighbor classification method by using the K value 3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17. The results of the difference in K values ​​will be compared with other K values ​​to find out which K value has the highest accuracy. From testing on the system, the highest accuracy is obtained at 93.33% by applying the K 5 value to the K-Nearest Neighbor method.
