Abstract

The bakery is one of the most popular businesses in the culinary field and easy to keep up with the times. One of the bakeries that are running its business in the city of Malang is the FPTC (Food Production and Training Center) shop. At this time, the FPTC shop wants to improve the progress of the existing services in their shop. So that their bread business can develop. However, services at the FPTC shop related to the process of activities such as sales transactions, ordering, and training have not been efficient. The reason is that the sales transaction process is quite long, the delivery of product menu information and training requirements is not sufficient, the confirmation of approval for training takes too long. Therefore, to improve the services available in the shops in this study, this research aims to create a website-based business service management and training system for FPTC. the system created can help FPTC store employees to more easily manage services, and for customers to more easily access services, as well as improve efficiency in service processes. The FPTC business service management and training system will be built or developed using the waterfall development model. The system implementation is built using the CodeIgniter framework and the system has a payment gateway service. Tests carried out on a system that has been built consist of unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing. the results of all tests obtained a percentage value of 100% and the status is valid. Besides, the compatibility test shows that the system can run well in various browsers without any errors or problems.

Abstract

Dispendukcapil is the agency that handles the creation of population files and civil registration for Malang City. In its implementation, there are still deficiencies in the process of file processing at the Malang City Administration, causing many complaints from the public. Starting from the relatively long service time, complicated management process, no estimated completion time, to complaints from the public that they have to frequently come to the Dispendukcapil office to find out whether the population files being managed have been completed. Dispendukcapil once issued a birth certificate service application in 2018. However, until 2020 only five people were registered to have registered for birth certificates through the application due to difficulties. So that this integrated population service application requires a User Experience (UX) design so that people can use it easily and efficiently. The approach used in designing this application is Human Centered Design (HCD). HCD is an approach to interactive system development that aims to create a system that focuses on user needs and can increase user satisfaction. The final result of this UX design is a high-fidelity prototype. The prototype is then evaluated using the heuristic evaluation method involving three experts as evaluators. There are sixteen findings of usability problems after evaluation. After the evaluator consolidation process was carried out, there were ten problem findings that had to be fixed. The process of improving the solution design is carried out in accordance with the suggestions given by the evaluator

Abstract

In the industrial world nowadays, many people have established any business from micro to macro. One of the business that put focus of this research is a home industry selling hijab named Vie Hijab Store. Vie Hijab Store has increased sales year by year, but there are problems in supply management of raw materials in the form of fabrics. Therefore, by predicting the amount of hijab sales, it is expected to be able to assist the owner with building consideration in making the decision to purchase raw material in a certain period. This research will use Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) prediction method which has advantages in learning speed and for calculating the error rate of the predicted results using Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE). The smallest MAPE results obtained for the Khimar model were 22% and for the Pashmina model by 12% using 4 features, 5 hidden nodes, a binary sigmoid activation function, and a data ratio of 60%: 40% for the Khimar model and 70%: 30% for the Pashmina model.

Abstract

The Bhakti Pertiwi Kulon Islamic Education Foundation (YPI BP Kulon) is a foundation built to teach Al-Qur'an education and provide social assistance to the community in Gresik City. Financial management at YPI BP Kulon is still carried out on bookkeeping and then transferred to Microsoft Excel and Word every year. The financial records were copied back on a piece of paper more concisely by the treasurer before being transferred, and the transfer process was also assisted by someone else. Bookkeeping is also still separate between each treasurer which can lead to double recording. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to build an information system that makes it easier to manage records and make financial reports. The purpose of this research is to make it easier to manage records and make financial reports. The problem is solved by building a financial management information system using the waterfall model. This study concludes that the problems in YPI BP Kulon are facilitated by reducing and improving current business processes (as-is) to produce recommendation (to-be) business processes by utilizing an information system built using the Laravel framework. User acceptance testing (UAT) testing is then carried out to determine the level of user acceptance of the information system. The results obtained to produce a value of 88.64% which indicates that the user strongly agrees with the system that has been developed.

Abstract

Orange are very popular and consumed by most Indonesians. Oranges are the fruit with the second largest productivity in Indonesia. North Sumatra province is one of the areas with the highest number of citrus harvests. Buyers of oranges in North Sumatra generally taste oranges before buying because taste is the most important attribute according to consumer perceptions. After tasting the rsa citrus fruit and the taste is sweet, the buyer will immediately buy the orange juice. During the wrapping process, sometimes the seller will mix fruit with lower quality and unsweetened taste. So from these problems this research focuses on making a system that can classify the taste of citrus fruit. The classification process is carried out using the naive Bayes method. The classification process requires training data with three parameters, namely color, weight and diameter. Color data obtained with the TCS230 sensor, weight data using the load cell sensor and diameter data using the ultrasonic sensor. After the data is obtained, the classification process will be carried out. After the classification process is complete, the hasl will be displayed on the LCD. The naive Bayes classification was tested with 15 test data and produced an accuracy of 80%.

Abstract

Qopee is a beverage product provider that utilizes a franchise business system. Currently the raw material ordering system in the Qopee franchise has been carried out using a web that utilizes the WooCommerce plugin by implementing the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment method. However, the raw material ordering system is less effective and efficient, as is the payment system which is less practical and safe than the non-cash payment system. To solve this problem, an Android-based raw material ordering information system was developed in the Qopee franchise. This system provides features for logging in, logging out, viewing raw material choices, adding raw materials to the shopping cart, selecting payment methods and checkout. The React Native framework was chosen to develop this system on the Android platform by utilizing the WooCommerce Rest API for processing data transactions from the web and Midtrans payment gateway for the payment system. To find out the level of success of the system being developed, a functional test was carried out using the blackbox testing method which obtained valid results on all tests and compatibility tests which resulted in the system being able to run well on all test devices.

Abstract

Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) is a wireless network technology that allow vehivle can communicate with ohter vehicle. VANET have 3 way to communicate, that is vehicle to vehicle communication (V2V), infrastructure to vehicle (I2V) or (V2I), and infrastructure to infrastructure (I2I). This study focused at the distance placement in each road side unit (RSU). This study focused at the distance placement in each road side unit (RSU). Communication in VANET, its need good performance in sending data from vechile to vehicle for communication between vehicle to vehicle as well as vehicle to RSU or the other round can be delivered faster and the percentage of success information arrived is increasing. In this study protocol greedy perimeter stateless routing (GPSR) will be implement with RSU to know which distant in each RSU is better to implement. Implementation will be worked with Network Simulator (NS-2) and SUMO. The result from this implementation will be analyzed with test parameters that is throughput, end-to-end delay, and packet delivery ratio. From the result based on vehicle density, RSU with distant 300 m have better value, that is 1570 bps and 85,7143% compared from RSU with distance 400 m, that is 1530 bps and 500m with value 1520 bps. And also the value of packet delivery ratio for RSU with 400 m is 77,7778% and 500 m with 75%. However on implemention result based on vehicle speed, RSU with 400 distance 400 m have same performance with RSU distance 300 m. In other word, RSU placement with distance is taking effect toward routing performance.

Abstract

In a company, the process of managing production and the product delivery is one of the most important processes that have a big impact. Companies must arrange how to manage production, record production stock, and arrange how to distribute a product. these factors can affect how to managing productivity to be more efficient. CV Roti Langsung Enak is one of the bakeries in Sumbawa. CV Roti Langsung Enak, on average it produces 800 to 1000 loaves of bread each day. During its development, the bakery began to experience several problems, such as bread returns, where the number of bread returns caused a considerable loss to the bread company. Therefore a website-based bread company management system was created that can help manage the bread production process to minimize bread returns. This system is also able to help the process of ordering bread and delivering bread to make it more effective and efficient. This system uses the waterfall method to make it more structured and sequential for each step taken. From the requirement analysis process, there are 3 actors, 30 functional needs, and 1 non-functional requirement. The tests used to test this system are unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and compatibility. Tests carried out proves that the system is able to run as expected and able to be run on various browsers and devices.

Abstract

Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DISNAKER-PMPTSP) Kota Malang is a government institution which facilitating programs and activities in labour sector as well as providing investment, licensing and non-licensing with one-stop integrated service system. Due to the lack of technological innovation which leads to the unprogressive service system development, DISNAKER-PMPTSP has several obstacles to tackle its service processes. Furthermore, when DISNAKER-PMPTSP Kota Malang is currently trying to revamp to the new information system, there is no proper management planning on the current transition between the old process to the new system. An evaluation is needed in managing innovation and managing change acceptance and transitioning by using the capabilities level assessment in the Manage Innovation (APO04) and Manage Change Acceptance and Transitioning (BAI07) processes using the framework Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 5). The evaluation carried out by filling out the assessment documents in each process (APO04 and BAI07) gradually from level 0 to level 3 which is the level expected by DISNAKER-PMPTSP Kota Malang. Based on the results of the assessment, the capability level for the APO04 process was 66.67% and the BAI07 process was 73.08%, respectively at level 1. In conclusion, there is a gap between the APO04 and BAI07 processes, which are 2 levels. From the gaps that were found, several recommendations were made to meet the target level of each process.

Abstract

Wireless sensor network is a part of Internet of Things (IoT) used to sensing an environment, collecting the sensed data, and sending the information to a nearer gateway on the same wireless sensor network environment. Communication between sensor node and gateway needs to be connected to a wireless communication module to finally called a wireless sensor network, one of many technologies that support a wireless connection for wireless sensor network is LoRaWAN. Long-range and low-power feature that provided by LoRa making it the attractive candidate for smart sensing devices that usually used to sense temperature, air pressure, humidity, resonance, and many more according to needs. On a fast-paced moving environment, authentication between device to device is a mandatory issue that needs to be fixed to ease an authentication without enlarge the security gap. This research proposed an idea of lightweight authentication and enhanced security using a dynamic value as example is token that never have the same values for the whole communication session. With the advantage of using token with timeouts, continuous authentication supposed to reduce the possibility of invalid node or intruder node to join the existed communication. The result of this research is, continuous authentication can distinguish the valid node with the invalid one based on their id and the token value that used for authentication. Besides, the system performance with continuous authentication shows 100% success rate on an ideal time and average time needed for sensor node to generate an authentication token is 41,5 ms.
