Abstract

There are several majors in SMK 4 Negeri Malang, for example Multimedia. When learners are not given learning media other than power points, because the supervisor uses the lecture method to use media in the form of PowerPoint. The solution that can be used to deal with problems is to build an Interactive Multimedia learning media. Through Interactive Multimedia can motivate and attract student attention about the material presented. Development of Interactive Multimedia can be done using Notepad ++ software as a text editor and Adobe Premiere Pro 2017 for editing video material. Data collection techniques used are observation, question and answer with a guide, questionnaire and test giving. The results of the validation test for material experts and media experts are that the learning media designed in the form of Interactive Multimedia are valid and appropriate for the learning process with an average percentage of material and learning experts at 93.3% for the material aspects, and 87.5% for the learning aspect. Which means the learning media is very good. The percentage of the validation test of the media expert is equal to.62.2% where the media has been good. The results of the pre-test carried out by 36 students averaged 76.27 and the average post-test was 83.3. T-test results obtained a significance value smaller than 0.05 of 0,000. Student pre-test and post-test results also gave a significant increase in grades. It can be concluded that Interactive Multimedia is effectively used for the learning process.

Abstract

Adira Finance is one of the companies that runs in financing sector. Before providing financing to consumer, it is required to complete a series of processes to screen prospective consumer who are eligible for financing. However, an integral automated process is not available so far that is needed to improve the efficiency of the processing of financing approvals. One of them is determining the eligibility of a prospective consumer to be given financing by considering his tendency to make late payments. In this study, the tendency of a prospective consumer to make late payments is predicted using the random forest method by using financing history data and payment transactions for used motorcycles from the year 2017 to 2019. Stages to predict late pay tendencies begin with a series of data preprocessing processes, training data using a random forest algorithm to produce the most fit model, then the model is tested to obtain predictive results and the level of precision using a confusion matrix. Accuracy measurement on the prediction results get an average score of 88%. The output of this research is a prediction system that displays dashboard page, uploading new data, and prediction results. For testing user acceptance of the system, User Acceptance Testing is used and results an average of 87,5% which means that the user accepts the system that has been developed.

Abstract

Dental caries or commonly called cavities is a disease in which bacteria can damage the structure of dental tissue such as enamel, dentin, and cementum. Cause of occurrence dental caries is demineralization of tissue on the surface of the teeth of organic acid caused of foods that contain sugar. Caries that are not treated or controlled early can cause tooth decay that is getting worse and eventually tooth extraction. To find out more about the class of caries disease, a dental caries classification system was created using the Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MKNN) algorithm. This method is a method that developed from the KNN method. The difference between the KNN algorithm and MKNN is calculation of the validity of training data and weight voting. In this study there were 6 classes and 8 symptoms or variables used. The test results of this study include testing the effect of k values, testing the effect of the amount of training data and test data, and its effect on distance. The results of the average accuracy of testing the value of k by 86% with the highest average of 90.66% when k = 3. Testing the effect of the amount of training data get an average accuracy of 71.1% with the highest accuracy of 86.7% on the amount of training data of 70 and for testing the effect of the amount of test data get an average accuracy of 82.2% with the highest accuracy of 86.7% on the amount of test data of 30. Testing the effect of distance get the same results of accuracy in the distance of Manhattan and Minkowski by 86.7%.

Abstract

Mineral and Resource Engineering Laboratory is one of the laboratory that is built for giving some services that are needed to students and lecturers. The services can be for researching, loaning tools in laboratory, tools inventory, and also complaint services for a good quality in laboratory. Considering of high demands of those services, laboratory needs information system management that must be well-organized and well-structured, so optimum services can be reached. Model which used for software development that is used in this study is Waterfall. There are 4 processes such as requirement engineering, design system, implementation and testing. The results in requirement engineering are 57 functional requirements and 1 non functional requirement in the form of use case diagram and use case scenario. The results of design systems are sequence diagram, class diagram, user interface and pseudocode for implement. In implementation, technologies that are used are CodeIgniter framework with Hierarchial Model View Controller architecture and supported with web programming language such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. The results of unit testing is 100% valid for each case in the method, 100% valid for each case in integration module, 100% valid for 57 functional requirements and 100% valid for certain browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Abstract

Generasi Baru Indonesia(GenBI) Malang is a community of Bank Indonesia scholarship recipients which participate in holding social activities. Procurement of social activities in GenBI Malang implements an activity management process consists of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling(monitoring and evaluating). The process of planning until implementing produces activities documents kept by the activity committee consequently causing executive boards need more time and effort to collect and make a report that is used by community advisor to evaluate activities. Besides, there is no log recording of activity management details which makes monitoring process not being carried out comprehensively but only on the activity document. These problems can be resolved by developing a community activities management website. The website system allows data access wherever and whenever. The system has features to make activities, submit activities documents, and change activities information wherein details of activity management always recorded so that the system can be the center of activity management. The results of requirement engineering and system design produce 7 actors, 57 functional requirements, 1 non-functional requirement, and 22 database entities. The website based system is implemented using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. The system that was built has been tested at the unit, integration, and validation stages. Compatibility testing also performed with results 100% system content and functionality works.

Abstract

The Center for Disability Study and Services Universitas Brawijaya (PSLD) conducts the mentoring process for students with disabilities every day. The scheduling process for mentoring students with disabilities is done by matching the disability student and volunteer schedules and verifying mentoring manually by looking at the mentoring logbook that has been filled out by volunteer students every week, which makes scheduling and verification of mentoring results ineffective because of the long and unknowable process the results directly. PSLD also does not yet have a reporting media that can be used to channel aspirations and complaints experienced by students so that students cannot report directly and cannot know the progress of the proposed report. Disability student assistance software is a system that has the goal of solving problems experienced by PSLD. The system can schedule the mentoring automatically based on the empty schedule of students, recap the mentoring process, and can provide functions for reporting. The system is developed through the stages of determining user needs, carrying out design, implementation, and testing. Testing is done using unit testing, validation, and compatibility with 100% valid results, and all functions can run well in several test environments.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is the highest cause of death in the world. This disease attacks the respiratory system and included in infectious diseases. In 2019, Indonesia occupies the third highest position for the number of TB disease case namely as many as 842.000 cases. The increase in TB cases from year to year is due to people with insufficient information about the dangers as well as the treatment and prevention of this disease. Therefore, it is necessary to do the classification of tuberculosis for the community in order to determine the risk of developing TB disease based on symptoms experienced. From these problems, it is necessary to classify TB disease as an effort to increase public awareness of the TB disease. This study aims to obtain the result of the TB classification using the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) method. Based on the result of testing and analysis using confusion matrix using TB data from Dinoyo Puskesmas in 2018-2019, the highest accuracy value is 99.33% with the number of hidden neurons 20, the percentage of training data and testing data is 70% : 30%, and uses the sigmoid biner function activation.

Abstract

Retrieval of data has the objective to carry out the development of interactive digital modules while on the basis of the website to enhance the process of achieving competency expertise and find out how feasible, efficient and effective the product is as supporting the learning process of VOC Network System Administration in the discussion of virtual private networks. The data collection method used is Research and Development using the Borg, Gall & Gall framework. The object in data collection is 12th grade SMK Negeri 12 Malang students 1. Based on the results of data retrieval, the validity of the material expert stated 3.47 (valid). The acquisition of validity of media experts stated 3.48 (valid). Obtaining the validity of the learning implementation plan stated 3.1 (valid enough). Obtaining validity about the pre-test post-test stated 3.58 (valid). The acquisition of student response questionnaire stated 3.27 (valid). To realize the increased achievement of knowledge competencies carried out while submitting pre-test and post-test. Through the calculated Z value and Z table, the results of the assessment on the virtual private network lessons calculated using the Wilcoxon Test obtained the calculated Z value as large as -4.10 and the Z value as large as 0.00001. The acquisition of Z count has a value smaller than the value of the Z table, so it can be stated that the acquisition of post test is better than the acquisition of pre test. The results obtained from the previous information, data collection shows that the development of interactive digital modules based on the website on virtual private network material is feasible, efficient and effective in the learning process and may be used as a learning process media in order to improve the achievement of students' knowledge competencies.

Abstract

Vocational Education of Universitas Brawijaya has a website located at vokasi.ub.ac.id. which helps in providing information to its users. The results of interviews with users, there are many problems including web sites considered less informative, the content of the lecture schedule there is no name of the lecturer, there is no information or content about the prospects regarding their respective majors, and than that PK2MABA information that is less detailed and schedule guest lecture. Based on the problems, an evaluation of website content was using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach, it consisted of understanding and specifying the context of use are including stakeholders in this study, Vocational Education PSIK staff and users are consisted of active students, prospective students and alumni. Furthermore, it produces a specifying the user requirements to define content issues according to the needs of users and stakeholders. At this stage there are 20 content issues obtained from interviews with respondents, and producing design solution by conducting card sorting testing that produces sitemaps according to the highest score on the menu chosen by the respondent and tree testing at the initial test on the 20 contents there are 9 contents below the average score. Testing the prototype design using The Single Easy Questin (SEQ) questionnaire was given to 9 respondents with an assessment of 5.9 from an average score of 5.5.

Abstract

XYZ Company is a company engaged in the services of national water resources. XYZ Company has RITI or IT Master Plan who has covered overall IT management, including management of Digital Archives commonly called Digital Assets. In this study, ITIL has been chosen as a guideline to be used. Researchers focus on Incident Management and Problem Management Domain. Interviews and observation will be used as a method to data search. Interviewees were obtained from the mapping of the RACI Chart. The obtained data will be analyzed using an analysis of the current and ideal conditions then followed by a gap analysis. The results of the gap analysis will be a solution to the company. The solution is the output from this research in the form of a draft Standard Operating Procedure which will be prepared based on the activities contained in the ITIL Guidelines Incident Management and Problem Management Domain. The making of the SOP will be carried out based on the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia No. 35 of 2012 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Operational Standards for Government Administration Procedures. This research produces SOP in each domain. Domain Incident Management produced 3 series of SOPs, 16 activities and 2 supporting forms. Meanwhile, the Problem Management domain produced 4 series of SOPs, 19 activities, and 3 supporting forms.
