Abstract

The Civil Registry Service Office of Kabupaten Jember developed an Information System for Population and Civil Registry Administration Services or referred to as Aplikasi SIP to meet the needs of administration documents and civil registration. Although it has been used by people, users still problems related to the interface that are less intuitive, confusing, and not performing optimally. This study applies the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach as a method for developing design solutions and usability testing as a method of evaluating the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). The evaluation was done twice, before design improvement and after design improvement. The first evaluation is done to get the context of use and to validate user problems. In the first evaluation that was followed by five participants, the value of effectiveness is 83,33%, the value of efficiency are 0,0128 goals/second and 83,24%, and the user satisfaction on SUS score is 65,00 (level C) and SEQ scores ranged from 3,6 to 6,2. Furthermore, improvements to the UI are carried out with the aim of solving user problems and improving aspects of usability. In the second evaluation that was followed by 10 people divided into two group of persona, the value of effectiveness increased to 98,00%, the value of efficiency increased to 0,0310 goals/second and 97,23%, and the value of user satisfaction increased 82,08 or with A levels on SUS scores and SEQ scores ranging from 5,9 to 6,8.

Abstract

In tropical countries like Indonesia, plants are commercial crops that are widely cultivated and have high selling points so that they are profitable for farmers. Based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture, the amount of chili production every year is still fluctuating, ie experiencing an increase or decrease. One obstacle that is often encountered is the lack of knowledge of farmers in recognizing the types of diseases and pests that attack plants on chilies. Based on these problems, the authors take advantage of the opportunity to develop a mobile application with the Android operating system that is useful for detecting diseases in chili plants and its control. This application utilizes clarifai technology to help detect images on input from user devices through images or galleries. The development of this application uses the Waterfall method. The validation test results are 100%. The accuracy of the test results in this application is 79%. The usability test results in this application are 82.75%. While in compatibility testing, the application can run in accordance with the predetermined Android minimum SDK 23 level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the value that is felt by users that influence the interest in using MyTelkomsel. The population in this research is users of MyTelkomsel in Malang with the sampling using sampling purposive with 100 respondents. The data sampling of this research is done by spreading questionnaires. Data analysis is done using classic assumption test, partial test, and multiple regression analysis to five variables which is, functional values, emotional values, epistemic values, conditional values, and social values. Pearson correlation test was also conducted to determine the closeness of the relationship between these variables with the intention to use variable. Testing is done using SPSS tools. The conclusion from the results of the research conducted showed that functional values variables, emotional values variables, and social values variables have a significant positive influence on the interest in using the MyTelkomsel application with an enough closeness relationship while the epistemic values variable does not significantly influence the interest in using the MyTelkomsel application with the closeness of the relationship low or weak, and conditional values variables also have no significant effect on the interest in using the MyTelkomsel application with a very low or very weak relationship.

Abstract

Majors is the process of selecting and placing study programs that are suitable for students, this process will affect the future of students, both when they become students in high school and after graduating when continuing their studies in collage. Based on the results of interviews the problems that often occur there are some students who want to change majors in the middle of the semester, this is because of students cannot follow their lessons and feel left behind by their friends. Therefore, we need an intelligent system that can facilitate the school in grouping students into majors in accordance with the interests and talents of students. In this research the system was made by applying the K-NN method and genetic algorithm optimization. The type of validation used in this research utilizes 9-fold cross validation and hold-out validation. The number of datasets which originally consisted of 288 data will be divided into 9 sections and each sections will amount to 32 data. In general, the best fold number to use is 10, but the share of fold must also be adjusted to the amount of data used. The hold-out test is divided into 2 test scenarios, the first is testing uses the polynomial kernel formula, the RBF kernel and the linear kernel which are elaborated (substituted into the the elaborated distance formula) get a fitness value of 64.338% while the second is testing uses the polynomial kernel formula, kernel RBF and linear kernel which are not elaborated (without substituted into the elaborated distance formula) get a fitness value of 93.182%. The highest fitness value is generated in the 9-fold cross validation test which is 100%.

Abstract

Pets, animals maintained by humans, are exceedingly required to look after and take care by the owners. The development of science and technology has been sustaining to apply these purposes by the existence of the tracking devices which can be inserted to the pets. The classification of indoor and outdoor location based on the effect of the lights is conducted in this research to control the data sending from the location of the pets. K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is required to support the system in determining the location classification of pets. The implementation of the systems is based on the two prototypes; master and slave. Slave system is to record the value of the lights and the coordinates of the pets. Besides, the master system is to receive the data, process the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, and connect to the laptop in order to show the output data. The accuracy obtained from the indoor and outdoor classification in this study was 98%. The test of K-value in this method was applied with the K-value of K=3, K=7 and K=9.

Abstract

The tourism sector is a contributor to national income, foreign exchange and a large provider of employment for Indonesia. With the increase in the number of foreign tourist arrivals and the value of foreign exchange tourism can strengthen the Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar. Yogyakarta region still contributes a small foreign exchange tourism sector which is only 1.2% of all regions in Indonesia. There was an increase in visitors in 2011 which touched 508,476 visitors where in the previous year it only reached 368,906 visitors. Increasing the number of visitors accompanied by facilities and infrastructure that is inadequate or inadequate to the expectations of tourists can result in a decrease in visitor interest in the future and can threaten the economic sector of the people of Yogyakarta. Prediction of the number of tourist arrivals to the Special Region of Yogyakarta is very necessary to know the range of the number of visits in the future, so that tourism actors can prepare operations better, optimize facilities and infrastructure, and develop better marketing strategies. Prediction in this study uses the Support Vector Regression (SVR) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) methods. Prediction results from this study produce the best range of SVR parameters from Complexity (C) = 100-500, Sigma (s) = 5-20, Lamda (l) = 1-5, Epsilon (e) = 0,0001-0.1 , cLR = 0.001-0.1 iteration SVR = 500, Particles = 30, PSO iteration = 50, number of features = 3 and number of prediction periods of 1 month by producing the smallest mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value of 1.088%. The MAPE value produced in this study is less than 10% so this prediction is able to predict the number of foreign tourist visits to Yogyakarta Special Region very well.

Abstract

Stress is the initial stage of the sequence of mental disorders such as depression, and others. Stress has a huge impact on the health of sufferers, but there are still many people who underestimate the existence of this stressful disease. The age of someone who is susceptible to stress is a teenager who is taking high school level education because adolescence is the age of a person to start thinking complex. One solution that has been provided to reduce the impact of stress is facilitating the counselling teacher for high school students. However, most students still feel reluctant to conduct guidance because of erratic schedules and feel ashamed. The development of Website-Based Stress Level Monitoring System aims to simplify the process of stress monitoring and consultation of students and counselling teachers. This system will be used by the counselling teacher, homeroom teacher and admin also by the Students. The Waterfall method is used in the process of developing this system by referring to 35 functional requirements and one non-functional requirement. Furthermore, the system is implemented in several programming languages ​​such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP by using Laravel as a framework. In addition, this system also uses the API from Twitter and the Naive Bayes method library to help the process of capturing the status of students' tweets to conduct a stress level detection process which will be divided into 3 levels: low, medium and high. This system testing is carried out using the white box method for unit testing and integration and black box for conducting validation testing. This test resulted in 100% valid in 85 test cases. Non-functional requirements of the system have been tested by the Sortsite tool, indicating that this website can be operated on several search engines.

Abstract

The energy level owned by a node will affect the services performed by that node. When the node's energy is at a high level, the node will provide communication services for sending data and routing, but when the node's energy is at a low level the services performed by that node will be limited. The limit given to the node is when the remaining node energy is below 20% of the initial energy, the node will discard all packets that will be forwarded and when the node's energy sis has entered below 10%, the node will discard all packets that will be forwarded and do not do routing. The application of these energy restrictions results in changes in the Quality of Service. The testing of the application of energy restriction is carried out using a number of diverse nodes, namely 30, 40, and 50. The results are taken with two tests, the first test without applying energy restriction and the second test uses energy restriction. The results of the comparison of the average throughput test value for the number of nodes 30 and 50 have increased, but for testing with 40 nodes has decreased in value. The results of the comparison of packet delivery ratio testing values ​​on all tests the number of nodes has decreased. And the results of testing the remaining energy changes the value of the remaining energy owned by each node.

Abstract

Insomnia is a disease experienced by people with sleep disorders, it can be experienced by anyone between 15 until 64 years. The factors influencing sleep disorders include stress, depression, unhealthy, lifestyle, and the influence of certain drugs that can interfere with the quality of sufferers' life. This study has a problem formulation of how to help insomnia sufferers in order to improve quality of life. This research entitled Development of Mobile Device Applications Using Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) for Therapy of Insomnia sufferers. was conducted with the aim of helping to overcome insomnia problems experienced by sufferers. In development, this research uses the Personal Extreme Programming method. In the analysis process produced only one factor namely user factor which for functional requirements obtained 9 needs and non-functional requirements obtained 2 needs. The design stage produced 9 sequence diagrams. The data design used Entity Relationship Diagram, algorithm design obtained 3 algorithms and in the interface designer produced 8 designs. Specific applications are applied to the Kotlin-based Android programming field, for databases using the Room Database. Based on the test results, first, obtained from the validation test, it succeeded in reaching 100% valid because it was in accordance with the expected result that had been previously determined. Second, compatibility tests get the results that the application can run on 6 different devices and API levels. Third, usability tests obtained 77% which indicates that the application that has been made is easy to use by users.
