Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Directorate General of Higher Education urges learning activity to be done from home. Learning activities during the pandemic at SD Negeri Wates were carried out through a messaging service application on Android devices. More than 70% of teachers at SD Negeri Wates do not have laptops to support the learning process and 98.5% of students use Android devices. The absence of face-to-face interaction during the pandemic has reduced student scores and 17-28% of students admitted they did not understand the material given. Teachers also have difficulty in preparing K13 report cards, recapitulating student assignments, and obtaining and disseminating school information. The purpose of this research is to develop a mobile learning application by adjusting the needs and providing ease of operation. The method that will be used is Mobile-D because Mobile-D has flexible agile-like properties and is a suitable methodology for making mobile applications with a team of fewer than 10 people and the process can be done in less than 10 weeks. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of the research conducted, the user's assessment of the application with an average score of 83.9 on the teacher side and 87.3 on the student side. This figure proves that the application has excellent effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction.

Abstract

Management of book and sales are important for a bookstore. The problems that occur in the Literasi Nusantara bookstore are publishers who want to cooperate with the bookstores want them to have their own sales website and problems related to the bookstore's inventory management and sales that are still recorded manually. Publishers who want to cooperate with bookstores want to check about books sold by Literasi Nusantara through their own website. The process of managing book inventory and sales is still manual, causing the book and sales management processes to take a long time. Hopefully, this system can help the process of cooperation between the bookstore and publishers and help improve the efficiency of their sales management time. The waterfall software development model is used in the development process of this system. The stages performed in this research are literature study, requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing, and drawing conclusions and suggestions. This system uses website technology so that the bookstore system can be accessed by users via a web browser. The bookstore system has been tested using unit testing and integration testing (white box testing) as well as validation testing and compatibility testing (black box testing).

Abstract

One type of Ad-hoc Network is Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of nodes that can move and communicate in a network. The move node causes the topology on the MANET network to change frequently. In addition, there is a possibility that nodes will move away from neighboring communication range. It can increase the risk of path failures for connection and impact network performance. The mobility model of one another can produce different results on each routing protocol. Testing is required to select the appropriate mobility models. This research uses the Dynamic MANET On Demand (DYMO) routing protocol and is applied with the mobility models of Random Waypoint (RWP) and Random Direction (RD). The research was conducted using Network Simulator 2.35 to perform the scenario of adding the number of nodes, the addition of the simulation area and the addition of maximum speed. The test parameters for each scenario are packet delivery ratio (PDR), end-to-end delay, throughput and packet loss. The effect of RD movement when testing the area, causes the width of the distance between nodes because the node moves to the edge of the simulation area so that packet loss is high compared to RWP where the distance between nodes is shorter because the movement is random in the middle of the simulation area. The results showed an average PDR value for RWP of 98.60% while RD was worth 96.16%. Then the average packet loss for RWP is 1.40%, while RD is worth 3.84%.

Abstract

Children growth and development can increase significantly at the age of the first 1000 days of birth. Child growth and development can run optimally if the need for adequate nutritional intake. In early life, malnutrition (nutritional deficiencies) is very susceptible to occur, one of the consequences is stunting. Stunting is a condition when a baby has a lower height than a baby at his age, which is caused by poor parenting practices. The impact of a baby stunting can increase the risk of disease and even death, which will continue until the child is older. This application is formed by running 4 of the 5 stages of application development with the waterfall technique. Based on the results of the questionnaire, interviews with pediatricians and literature studies, 22 functional requirement were obtained and one non-functional requirement was obtained. Then the requirement modeling is done by using UML modeling which is used as a basis for implementing the design. The results of modeling are mapped into the PHP programming language, then tested with white box and black box techniques to test functional requirements and compatibility testing for non-functional testing. From the results of functional requirements's testing, obtained 100% valid results. While compatibility testing shows that the system is capable of running on 11 different search types.

Abstract

The tobacco industry is one of many industries that has a big influence on the economy. In the tobacco storage process, it is necessary to pay attention on temperature and humidity conditions at the tobacco warehouse. But the monitoring process of these conditions are still manual, and this prove to be difficult to do if the factory staffs are outside the industrial zone. Therefore, the temperature and humidity monitoring system with WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) technology become a solution to these problems. System is comprised of 3 (three) slave nodes which perform sensing of temperature and humidity, and 1 (one) master node that collects and processes data received from each node, and sends data to users via Telegram app. From the test results, system is capable to sense with the error on temperature and humidity sensing on node 1 0,53% and 1,46%, node 2 0,43% and 6,98%, and node 3 0,14% and 1,87%, also the system is capable to send its data with an RSSI value at node 1 -59.82 dB, node 2 -52.52 dB, and node 3 -70.42 dB. The system is capable to send data using CSMA/CA method with RTT during the RTS/CTS at node 1 is 84 milliseconds, node 2 is 59 milliseconds, and node 3 is 60 milliseconds. Meanwhile, RTT when sending data at node 1 is 67 milliseconds, node 2 is 59 milliseconds, and node 3 is 60 milliseconds, and data collision probability can be minimized to 4%. Finally, the system is capable to send notifications when the temperature and humidity conditions exceed the optimal limit through the Telegram app and able to reply the commands from users with an average response time of 12.6 seconds.

Abstract

Video Game is an electronic game that involves a joystick, keyboard and motion detector as an input device or user interface to generate feedback for the player which is displayed visually through televisions, monitors and other visual media. Of the many genres, racing games are one that is popular and played by many people, in the Racing game there are characters that cannot be controlled by the player, namely the Non-Player Character (NPC) who acts as an enemy or ally in the game. This NPC will be designed and implemented using the Behavior Tree method, the first thing to do is look at the behavior of the NPC then design the Node to implement the Behavior Tree on the NPC in decision making. After the NPC is implemented, then testing is carried out on the NPC, testing is carried out using the Black Box method, and testing the performance of the NPC, on the Black Box test based on the Test Flow Diagram and testing the performance of the NPC based on Frames per Second and the number of collisions on the NPC. From the results of the Black Box test carried out, the NPC's behavior went as expected, and in testing the performance of the NPC, the resulting game was able to run on average at 60 FPS and on the number of collisions on NPCs the more NPCs resulted in a lot of collisions too so it could be concluded that the game can run at a good FPS and the ability of NPCs to make decisions in large numbers is increasingly difficult.

Abstract

PKL is an implementation that combines academic education obtained from the teaching and learning process on campus and the expertise obtained by students from hard skills and soft skills. In the Information Systems Department (JSI) of Universitas Brawijaya students who will meet PKL subjects independently must find a company that will use the PKL location. At present there is still no collaboration between the company and JSI, so there are students who find it difficult to find companies to implement street vendors. The purpose of this study is to study the user experience of desktop and mobile information systems to bridge the relationship between students and related companies looking for street vendors and spread information on street vendors, which can fulfill their needs, are easy to use and provide pleasant benefits for users. The approach used in designing solution designs is Human-Centered Design (HCD). The system design made consists of a high fidelity prototype, which is then evaluated by the usability testing technique by measuring three aspects namely, efficiency, and satisfaction using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire. The test results for the desktop version resulted in a success rate of 98.64%, a TBE value of 0.036 goals / second, and a value of 6.19 in the level of user satisfaction. In the mobile version, get a success rate of 97.3%, TBE value of 0.205 goals / second, and get a 6.2 value on the level of user satisfaction. And found 41 suggestions from overall participants that are useful for further research.

Abstract

SMP Islam Sabilurrosyad Malang is an educational institution that has human resources, especially teachers. Teachers have an important role in schools with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, and directing students. In this role, to achieve optimal learning, teachers must be able to improve their performance and professionalism. Improving teacher performance can be improved by making efforts in the form of teacher performance appraisal (PKG). SMP Islam Sabilurrosyad has never conducted teacher performance appraisals before, so it is necessary to seek in-depth information and needs regarding the flow and components of teacher performance appraisals. On the other hand, teacher performance appraisal is needed to improve teacher quality and as a consideration for school principals to determine teacher salaries. This study aims to obtain the flow of teacher performance appraisal and be implemented in a web-based teacher performance appraisal information system. We built a teacher performance appraisal information system using an iterative approach and implemented using the Laravel framework and the Stisla framework. The results of the implementation of the information system are evaluated by conducting validation testing and browser compatibility testing. The validation test results produce valid results in every test case, while the browser compatibility test results show good results and there are no problems in the eight versions of the browser.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest population of Muslims in the world. Based on population census data in 2010, there were 87.18% of the total population of Indonesia are Muslims, which amounted to 237,641,326. Ibadah is an act to express devotion to Allah SWT, which is based on obedience to carrying out the commands and avoiding the prohibitions. By performing ibadah, a person will be more obedient to Allah SWT by carrying out the commands that have been set and can avoid a person from heinous and evil deeds. There are many applications for performing ibadah for Muslims that can be used on smartphones. However, the application only works as an ibadah reminder application. Based on the results of surveys and interviews that have been conducted, the current challenge is that they want an application that is not just a reminder, but more than that. From the results of the development that has been done, this system produces 16 main features. And from the tests that have been done, it produces a valid value in each test starting from unit testing and integration testing using white box and validation testing using black box. The results of unit testing, integration testing and validation testing produce a value of 100%, which means that all the features that have been made work in accordance with defined needs.

Abstract

The New Student Development Program (Startup Academy) is an introduction to campus life in the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM). Students who do not pass the Startup Academy cannot become members or administrators of Student Organizations in the Faculty of Computer Science. The difficulty in accessing this data has caused several institutions to continue recruiting students who did not pass Probinmaba (Startup Academy) because they did not know their graduation status. This caused the values ​​that were expected to be conveyed to new students in the Student Orientation to be meaningless and many laws were violated by the organization management and the new students themselves. Based on these problems, one effort that can be done is to build a system as an assessment information center that can help institutional administrators in accessing student graduation data. The system built also aims to make it easier for the executive committee to manage assessment data from year to year and general students to find out the details of the value and archive of their graduation certificates. The API that was built is intended for institutions that want to integrate the admission selection system for the management with existing graduation data. To test whether the system being developed meets the needs, a REST API, functionality, compatibility and usability test is carried out. The success rate of the test is 100% valid. This system is acceptable and according to user requirements.
